He looks none too pleased as he answers, "I'm happy either way...but if you want information from your "demon hunter" you might not get it so easily if he sees us go in together" He replies and I know he's right. I guess there was a part of me deep down that just wanted to spend time with him. You know like without having to bond over a recent slay. "But its your choice" It always is isn't it.
He walks back into the living room and begins rearranging the books again. Hmmm. I follow a tad apprehensively before I let myself lean on the door frame for comfort. "You're right. He'd probably be easier to crack if I went at it alone. In case I don't get to see you before the party It's in the Omega House. I'm pretty sure you can't miss it. Just follow the drunken co ed's. If you reach the library you've gone to far." I joke before turning back to him.
"When you reach the place where the keg stands live you've found the right place." Thinking back to my bad experience with the beer I find the need to mention that there will be drinking on my part. "I'll probably have a drink or two just so I don't look conspicious, but don't worry I have a very high alchol tolerance. Must be due to my 'Chosen One' status. Had to be good for something right?" I tease with a slight wave of the hand. "Unless it's magic beer. That gets me everytime." I adominsh with a snicker.
*Chloe*
"Ok Chloe, well Ill be there soon" He promises before abruptly hanging up the phone. I wonder what's going on? It has to be something of significant importance if he's having to rush right over. I put the phone down and I don't even make it halfway across the room when there's a knock on the door. Smiling from ear to ear I open it to find my best friend who's not even broken a sweat. "Hey!" I grab him for a warm and inviting hug. "Come in." I wait for him to enter before I bombard him with questions.
"What's going on? Are you okay?" I inquire worriedly. I tuck a stray piece of blonde hair behind my ear. Nervous habit.
