I sigh. I was just trying to take an interest, and it seems like everything I say is wrong. "Michael, yeah I guess....I don't know who Alex is so Im guessing I meant him...."
I look down at my drink and take a large swallow. "Forget it Liz, I as just trying to make conversation...sorry for even breathing" I mutter.

I didn't say anything about the commen but it did hurt. I pick up my fork and took a bite. It taste weird with out tabco sauce but I didn't show any expression on my face.
I looked at Max, "I'm sorry. I really don't know who are refering to. But it was fun at those time"

"I think we shouldn't tell her right away and in any case she'll figure it out for herself. I haven't ever been able to hide anything from her.I wonder what the rest will have to say about us?" Isabel asks, looking all ponderous for a second before laughing. I laugh along with her, a huge grin on my face.
"Well, they'll probably say something along the lines of finally, thinking back to the few times Maria and Michael had questioned me about liking Isabel.
"Maria is going to freak.Come on I'll get you some sheets,looks like you'll be staying here tonight.Mum should be getting back any minute now. So before that I think I should indulge myself." Isabel adds, pulling me up off the bed and into an embrace. She kisses me slowly, and I pull away, still grinning.
"Let's get those sheets quickly, so we can have some more time alone before your mom get's home," I joke, kissing her back. "Where's she go anyways?"
"I think we shouldn't tell her right away and in any case she'll figure it out for herself. I haven't ever been able to hide anything from her.I wonder what the rest will have to say about us?" I chuckle as I take one of his hands in mine and with the free one I pick up the candle and lead him to the hall closet.Carefully I place the candle on one of the tables,"She's gone to pick up some provisions for the restaurant I think." I inform him as I take out a fresh sheet and pillow case
Handing him the pillow case I take out a blanket and proceed to the living room,where I open out the sofa cum bed.What a stroke of genius mum had when she bought this.
"Who would have guessed that my boyfriend would be the first person to use our new sofa cum bed?" I say with a sly grin and unfold the sheet,spreading it out and setting the blanket at the foot of the bed "There's an extra pillow in my room.You can use that one."
Quickly I make my way to my room and retrive the extra pillow and also an emergency lamp.What an ass I am!It's been sitting at the bottom of my cupboard all along.I blow out the candle on the way to the living room and turn on the lamp.
"Here's your pillow." I say as I flop down on the freshly made bed and hand him the pillow

The butterflies in my stomach feel like their trying to escade...their jumping around that much...a small smile lights my face when Kyle thinks he could be taking advantage of me..I wish!
"I just want this to be real for us."...and I thought the butterflies were bad before."I don't want this to be a fleeting passing thing to you. It's not... right?" Biting my lip I shake my head even though Kyle's eyes are avoiding me.
"It's not...like I said kyle, I don't have a history of dating" turning my head to look out the window
"Hell, I wasn't even aloud to interact with boys" I mutter.
"But I have history and secrets, that I'm not ready to share" blowing out a harsh breathe I continue on "This seem silly that I come with a warning, but I have been through alot and seen alot and done alot of things I'm not ready to talk about and I'll understand if you need someone who can share everything with you" lifting my head I realise that Ive slowly edged away only by a small bit but still...Im so scared to look at kyle incase he says Im right and that we shouldn't even bother...
god! I really like you and would love to date you but once you find out I a giant Green alien from outer space..ok well Im not green as far as I know.. but once you find out what and who Iam you'll run for the hills....I say to myself wishing I could say it all out loud...wishing kyle knew what I was and it didn't matter to him and...this is soo not helping!
Finally I get the nerve to look at kyle's face and am again struck by the beauty of it...I really want to kiss him now...

"Who would have guessed that my boyfriend would be the first person to use our new sofa cum bed?" Isabel adds with a smile, mentioning a pillow that she's got up in her room. I smooth out the sheet again as she walks back to her room to get it, and take a seat.
Then Isabel gets back with a lamp, and hands me the pillow. "Where'd you get that?" I ask her, motioning at the lamp, before placing the pillow at the end of the bed. Scooting over, look at it; it's definitely brighter than the candle. I can see Isabel much better in the brighter light.
"Thanks for getting me the pillow."

This is so weird!An hour ago,Alex was just my friend...now he's my boyfriend.The lines have been blurred or will be at any rate.How do two people go from being such close friends to a couple all in under an hour?Do we need an adjustment period?
