"Tess..." he makes no notion to get out of the car. I turn to face the most sincere eyes I have ever wittnessed.

"Wait...just tell me. baby please, I promise I wont say anything until you are completely done." he pleads and those baby blue orbs have me hypnotized.

Maybe it was the honesty in his tone or the fact that he called by baby and I actually liked it. Hmm. Pet names are not usually my style, but the way he said it. I have chill bumps all along my arms.

Sitting back in the car I place my hand on top of his.

I am just about to tell him when the girls flash before my eyes. We made a sacred pact never to reveal the scam to conquests. I couldn't do it. It wasn't fair to them.

"I.I. can't. I'm sorry. I want to. I really do ,but it's not just my secret. If I do this I expose so much more than jsut myself. I need to share everything with you, but it's gonna take time. I have to know that I can trust you."

I smiled shyly at him, I don't know why...but at his words that was my reaction for some reason. I guess it's because of what came out of my mind next.

"Well, I guess that makes us a perfect match...seeing that opposites attract, we suit eachother perfectly. But I don't think your a geek, I'm starved...do you mind if we get out of here?" I smiled sheepishly.

Kyle:

I nodded, I can accept that..."Well, I don't want the night to be over this soon...how about we go and do something...something fun--whatever you want, I'm paying...what do you say?" I asked her still holding her hand, and looking into her crystal clear blue eyes.

Liz:

She rests her head against my chest and wraps an arm around my waist...
God her hair smells nice...

"it's nice and rather large...this bed is frickin' huge!"

She starts to watch the film, but all I can watch is her...

Without meaning to I start to rub her arm. I tell myself to stop, but instead I start to rub her back as well.

"What kind of doctor are you exactly? I never asked." she says taking some popcorn.

"I preform surgery" I explain. "It's tough work, and not every one comes out alright. I hate when that happens. I know it sounds silly, but I can't help but wonder if there was anything more I could have done...even though I know there wasn't. It almost feels like its your fault." I explain.

"But generally I love my job. Its a great thing to do, knowing your helping the community. Giving them a warm hand on the way to recovery...hopefully."

Meanwhile my warm hand is still rubbing her. I can't help it...shes just so...amazing.

I'm a bit caught off here. First she talks about us being a perfect match since opposites attracts. Huh? Well, she's not a geek, that's for sure. and I guess she's not a worrier but more someone who jumps into something without thinking too much about consequences. Oh well.

"Sure, any special place where you want to eat?" I ask, getting up and helping her up.

"You don't want to eat--I-I'm sorry Alex, I can be pushy at times...I mean if you don't want to eat right now or if you want we can stay here for a bit and catch up, we can...I-" I sank back into my seat cursing at myself for messing this one up.

Liz:

"Talk about pressure..., but if it's something that you love and enjoy--that's what makes it all worth while. but don't you ever wonder that maybe there is a higher power above you or me that is setting everything do it's place? you know, who decides who lives or dies...rather than just a doctor alone." I looked up at him and blushed as his eyes stared deeply into mine.

"I'm not trying to get all religious or anything--just trying to make conversation without things getting akward." I had to tear my eyes away from his, because I wanted to kiss him so badly. But I knew I shouldn't, I didn't want to ruin whatever this was. only this time, it felt right.

"Oh, I love this part--" I snuggled closer to him as I watched the film like it was my very first encounter with the film.

And just then...
She looks away.
God I wish she hadn't.

"Oh, I love this part--" she says snuggling closer. "Me too" I say. I wrap my arms around her, wanting to pull her lips to mine right now, but somehow managing to restrain myself, but still not watching the movie.

"Are you ok?" I ask. I move an arm away to take some popcorn so it looked like Im paying attention, but I actually have no idea where we are the movie. Im just staring at her. As soon as Ive eaten it I move my arm back to her, never wanting to let her go,

"I'm sorry, I just come off being a little pushy with people that I'm just getting to know, I just wanted to have fun tonight--and look we've only been here for like twenty some odd minutes and I'm already coming off like a crazy person." I started to rant but stopped myself.

Liz:

"Yeah..umm..I just have to use the restroom...I'll be back." I smiled reasuring as I climbed off the bed and down the small staircase that was under the box spring. It's high off the ground.

Once inside the restroom, I still can't believe what I'm doing...I know he's loaded, but hey...I'm already starting to develop feelings for him--this can't be happening...'STOP LIZ!' I have to force myself , it's pathetic.

Just go back in there and try not to think about it too much...Man this dress is really itchy...I've been fighting the urge to get up for the past ten minutes, but I felt so comfortable--at home really that I didn't want to get up.

suddenly, a thought pops into my mind and a devilish smirk as exactly five minutes pass until I start walking back into the bedroom wearing nothing but one of Max dress shirts.

"I hope you don't mind...but my dress was bugging me...a-and I-" He's just staring at me as I return to my spot next to him. "Max?" I question as he hasn't said anything yet.

I smile as I place my hand ontop of hers. "Isabel, relax. You weren't being pushy at all. Going somewhere else is fine with me, in fact, it might be easier to talk in a restaurant than here over the loud music anyway. So when you are ready, we can leave. I really don't mind."
