"You know what....I need to go."

I look around the room. Everyone is unusually quiet. Tess and Liz both looked stressed when the left and Max looks torn.

Alex can't look me in the eye and even though Michael and I exchanged vows of love he seems a bit distant. Like he's afraid to get his hopes up.

" From the yucky looks on all of your faces I don't know if I want to remember. You are all hiding something." I accuse angerily.

"What do I not know?" I demand.

I look at her. "It's nothing ok? Nothing"
She gives me this look.
"I just feel so stupid!" I say as I sit on the floor. "It wasn't meant to be this way. I wasn't meant to be in love."
I can feel tears in my eyes and they quickly roll down my cheeks again.
"Thats why I took that damn potion...so I couldn't. But instead everything came back twice as strong...and theres that damn curse...and I cant lose him. But everytime I get close to him he pushes me away, and we get into this arguement. Maria's lost her memory because of me trying to solve my problem...I almost got us all killed...and its all my fault because Im in love with Max!"

I sit down on the floor next to Liz and pull her into my arms. "Liz it's all going to be okay. We're going to get Maria's memory back and fix everything." I tell her, trying to calm her down.

"No...I'll just call Liz or someone and ask them if they are okay." she says more to the sidewalk than to me.

"I just want to get checked into a hotel or something...my apartment is ruined...we can't stay there tonight."

I try to remember where a nice hotel is. It's been a while since I've been home.

"Um.. There's The Independence Inn just ahead. We could stay there?"
I suggest.

I look at her. "Even if you do Tess, it was still my fault. Because Im in love with Max! Im not meant to fall in love! I cant have him die on me Maria. I couldn't live through that" I tell her as I put my head on my knees.

"Maria somethings are best kept secret." Alex states obviously refrencing something I don't remember.

Apparently they have forgotten about Hurricane Deluca. (A nickname I recieved in High School. The story behind that is a long one better left to be told much later.)

" You know what? I'm outta here. I'm not going to sit around while you keep secrets from me. I'm going to figure all this out on my own!"

I stomp across the room slamming the door behind me.

How dare they keep me in the dark!!!

I sigh.
"I cant see anything here. Maybe you should go back to the others. Im going to stay and tidy up ok. Go on, Ill be fine" I tell her as I take out a broom.
