I took her small hand in mine, "liz i think it's quite obvious that I like you more than friends, and yet I know that I don't know you compeletly...but I know you, just by the way you talk to your cousins, how you approach a situation, how your eyes light up with you excited. Or how you tense up when you upset or uncomfortable. I guess what I'm trying to say is that-- Lady Liz Parker will you go out with me? I mean once I'm better of course, I can't dance with cracked ribs." she starts to laugh. "So, is that a yes? I promise you, no funny business, just dinner, dancing, and just getting to know one another. And if we have a good time--then who knows maybe there will be a second or maybe even a third. What do you say Miss Parker?" I told him gently kissing her hand.

Isabel

I read for about 45 minutes before I decided to stretch my legs,so I thought I'd grab a bite to eat from the kitchen and then head out into the garden.

As I walked out of the library I saw Alex siting on the steps,my heart told em to go to him but my pride wouldnt' let me so I walked on by.

I hate hate hate myself. But the person I hate the most right now...that stupid duke. Whether it was him or not the fact of the matter was, Victor was going to make Isabel his.
I play with my watch that my mother gave me for my birthday last year. I take it off and study it. It's perfect in everyway. Flawless.
Like Isabel.
"Damn you Victor. DAMN YOU!" I shout as I throw the watch at the wall opposite me. It crashes against the wall, shattering the watch glass with a loud smash.
I don't even bother to look up.
"Why does life have to be so wrong....why!" I moan before putting my head back in my hands.

I rolled my eyes in exasperation...drama queen...a voice in my head whispered

"Okay,you and I need to talk right now." I said grabbing his hand and heading for the library,once there I locked the door.

"Now tell me what's eating you up inside."
