Prologue
Liz's Pov -
My heart is broken, seeing him kissing her. I couldnt do anything, I just stood there and Took off like coward. I should of done something, I should of said something but I didnt. I love him to much to say anything. I know he is suppose to be with her, but my heart cant bare it anymore. She Can have him even though I love him. I know his heart is saying be with me. I cant get the kiss out my mind. I dont wanna try anymore. I dont want to live this life anymore with so much heart break and so much torment.
She can have him , but he will always be mine and will always be in my heart.
I dediced That I want to Live normal, Live life with a normal Boy.

PART ONE
Liz parker turned in bed. She rolled and saw Sean deluca laying next to her. She was happy, her and sean had been married for 5 years . Liz smiled as she watched sean sleep. but something in back of her mind was bothering. There was a soft knock on the bedroom door and then a cute little darked haired little boy came running into the room and jumped on the bed.
“ Ryan” Liz said softly as sean woke up.
“hey” Sean said as he turned and kissed liz on the cheek.
“hey Ryan is our wake up call this morning” Liz said smiling. Sean smiled softly and grabbed Ryan.
“Ryan! My man!” he said tickling the little boy.
“Daddy!” Ryan yelled as he tried to tickle sean back.
back in roswell -
Maria walked into the back of the crashdown and saw Max sitting on the couch in the back room. He had that look upon his face.
“max? What are you doing here?” Maria asked.
“I didnt have any place else to go” Max said softly.
“Did tess kick you out or something?” Maria asked as she sat next to him on the couch.
“She's gone” Max said softly.
“I knew it!” maria said as she quickly got up.
“ She left Roswell, because something happened” Max said looking up at maria.
“What happened?” Maria asked curiously.
“ Liz thats what happened” Max said softly.
“Liz?” Maria asked curiously.
“I still love her” max ran his fingers through his hair and covered his face with his hands.
“ Max Liz is married to my no good cousing sean”
“I know But I want her back:”
“Its been what? 4 years? and your finally realizing this?” Maria said.
“yes”
“Your too late max. Liz is happy now. She doesnt wanna try anymore”
Liz cooked breakfast for everyone, Sean snagged a piece of bacon off the plate. Liz slapped his hand.
“hey!” She yellled.
“Sorry” He said as he leaned up and kissed the top of her head.
Liz smiled, she cared so much about sean but there wasnt romantic feelings there. When she kissed him it wasnt the same as it was three years ago. Something was missing from their marriage. And lately they have been fighting and then making up. Liz was somewhat tired of pretending everything was still working.
“ Sweetie when are you coming tonight?” Liz asked. Sean smiled at her, kissed her and Wrapped his arms around her.
“Late probably I'll call”
“The last time you were late you didnt even bother to call”
“I know I was so caught up in work I didnt get a chance to”
“It seems like your always to caught up in work to call” Liz said as anger started to fuel in her.
“Liz I dont want to fight”
“ I'm not trying to fight with you” Liz replied.
Max Paced back and fourth, he held The phone in his hand trying to decide whether or not he wanted to do this. He knew if he called her he would be disrupting her so called normal life she wanted. They hadnt talked in years. He make a quick decision and dialed the number.
Liz's mind was pulled away to the phone ringing. Ryan Came running up to her and grabbed her leg.
“Ryan let go sweetie I got to get the phone” Liz said. Ryan wouldnt let go.
“I'll get it” Sean said. He grabbed the cordless off the wall and Quickly said hello.
Max was suprised to hear seans voice on the phone.
“Hello?” Sean said into the phone.
“Oh sorry is Liz there?” Max said into the phone. The voice sounded familiar to sean. He looked over at Liz and replied into the phone “Who is speaking?” Sean asked. There was a pause from max for a moment.
“Its max evans” He replied into the phone. Sean looked over at Liz again.
“Umm she isnt here, call back later” He hung up the phone. All Max heard was a click.

Part 2
“Who was on the phone?” Liz asked curiously seeing the look on his face.
“Ohh it was the wrong number” Sean replied. Ryan was still hanging on Liz's leg.
“hey Ryan Lets go get you dressed for school” Sean said as he picked ryan up.
“I dont wanna go to school!” Ryan yelled.
“Ryan you have to” Sean said as he hearded Ryan into his room. Sean was suprised that max had called wanting to talk to liz after all this time. 'he's not getting her back' sean thought as he made sure Ryan was getting dressed.
Max Laid back on Michael's couch in frustration. he threw the phone on the couch. what was he doing? Maria was right, It has been over for him and liz for the longest time. If Only he hadnt fallen for tess. Michael came into the apartment carrying a bag of gorcerries.
“What the hell are you doing here? Dont you have your own place?” Michael asked as he threw the bag on the table.Max just laid there on the couch. He was about to go crazy thinking about Liz.
“I do have my own place but it makes me think of tess” Max replied as he rubbed his Eyes from the lack of sleep.
“you and tess broke up?” Michael replied.
“Didnt maria fill you in yet?”
“I havent seen maria all week” Michael replied.
Sean Left to take Ryan to school, Liz was trying to straighten the place up. She noticed the caller idea Blinking. She checked it, wanting to makesure Sean was telling her the truth. She flipped through the numbers until she noticed the new call number.
“Michael guerin?”Liz said curiously. 'why would sean lie to me about Michael calling?' she thought. Liz picked up the phone and dialed Michael's number.
Michael heard the phone ringing. It was Right next to max , michael wasnt about to answer it.
“Are you going to answer that since its right next to you?”Michael asked.
“No” Max said.
“What is wrong with you maxwell?” Michael asked as he reached for the phone and answered it.
“hello” Michael said into the phone.
“hey michael its Liz” Liz said through the phone.
“Liz?” Michael said turning to max. Max's attention was all michael.
“Did you call here this morning?” Liz asked.
“No I didnt....But I think I know who did” Michael threw the phone at max. There was a long moment of slience on the phone for Liz Then she heard a voice she wasnt expecting to hear.
“Hey” Max said softly. Liz's heart skipped a beat.
“max? you called here?”
“yeah I did I wanted to talk to you” Max replied as he took the cordless phone outside of Michael's apartment. He didnt want Michael to hear their converstation.
“Max what are you doing? Why are you calling here? Its been several years” Liz said into the phone.
“I just wanted to hear your voice, I know its been a long time”
“Max ...I...” Liz heard Sean coming in through the door.
“you what?”Max asked.
“I'm sorry you have the wrong number” Liz hung the phone up. She took a deep breath as Sean came over to her and kissed her softly.
“who were you talking to”
“Wrong number” Liz replied. Sean Looked at her and then looked at the caller id.
“Whats going on Liz?” Sean asked.
“Why didnt you tell me that was max that called earlier?” Liz asked with anger in her eyes.
“ what are you talking about?” Sean said trying to play stupid.
“dont lie” Liz replied.
“I didnt think you wanted to talk to him”
“Oh so now your thinking for me?” Liz said with anger.
“Why are you getting mad? Is it because you still have it for Max?” Sean replied.
“max will always be in my heart, But were just friends now. I'm married to you! Is that why you didnt tell me he called?”
“yes exactly!”
“God! I'm not going to fight with you about this! I would rather just walk away” Liz said as she went upstairs and got dressed. She needed some space,some air. she couldnt fight with him not now not after max had called.

“you and liz are talking again?”Michael replied as he sipped on a snapple.
“I dont know” Max replied.
“Whats going on maxwell? Do you still have it for Liz after you cheated on her. She's getting on with her life.”
“I dont like seeing her With sean Deluca.”
“ There is nothing you can do maxwell she made her decision,you made yours”
“ I know”
Max flashed back to that day he came to Liz's Bedroom window the last time. She had called him after The prom had ended. The words she said to him hurt him deeply.
“I dont want to try anymore max. I dont want to do this anymore. I saw you kiss her” Liz said softly.
“Liz It didnt mean...”
“Mean anything I know, But it did mean something. She's your Destiny and I'm not part of that Destiny”
*back to the present -*
Max Leaned back on the couch listening to everything Michael had said. But he couldnt give up. He knew Liz was still in his heart.
“liz is still in my heart, I think about her all the time” Max replied.
“Dont, she's married. You cant break their marriage up” michael replied. Max Knew That wasnt what he wanted to do.
“I dont want to break Up their marriage, but I have to see her.” Max replied as he Rubbed his eyes from the lack of sleep.
*Flashback*
“Dont do this Liz” Max pleaded with her.
“I have to ! She's your Destiny.” Liz yelled.
“ I dont love her the way I love you! I know I kissed her, but..its because I've been see these flashes from the past”
“That dont make it any easier” Liz said softly. Max camer closer to her. He took her hand in his.
“I want make things up to you. I Want to be with you” he said as he Ran his fingers through her hair. Liz pulled away.
“No! Just go be with tess. Be with who your destined with” Liz said as she stepped back
“ I'm not going to do that! I love you liz!”
“Just go max!”.
“No!” Max grabbed Liz and Kissed her. The next thing Liz knew They were on the bed Kissing each other. She wanted max so bad, she wanted this so bad.
*Back to the present-*
Liz Separated herself from Sean, she went up to her room and locked herself in their room. She paced back and fourth trying to calm herself down. Little Ryan started banging on the door.
“Ryan! mommy needs sometime alone, go play with your toys in your room” She heard sean say through the door to Ryan. Liz Laid down on the bed.
“ok daddy” Ryan said Liz heard little footsteps running down the hall. Then she heard sean jiggling the Door knob.
“Go away!” Liz yelled.
“liz sweetie come on open we need to talk about this”
“there is nothing to talk about!” L:iz said as she opened the door and let sean in.
“ I'm sorry I lied to you” Sean said.
“thats what you have been saying for the longest time” Liz said.
“ I know the history you and max have. But me and you are married now”
“ if were married how come I dont feel it anymore? When you come home from work you dont say anything to me! And sometimes you come home late and....then max calls and you lie to me! Whats going on?” Liz asked.
“Nothing is going on sweetie I told you I Was so busy with work I didnt have time to call”
“yeah Right, Are seeing someone else?” Liz asked abruptly.
“No I'm not!” Sean denied.
“Why dont I believe you”
“where is this coming from? he calls here Once and suddenly I am having an affair”
“this has nothing to do with max!”Liz yelled.
“Bull shit Liz! It has alot to do with him! I think your still in love with him!”
“I'm not having this arguement with you right now!” Liz walked out of the room.
“your walking away because you know its true” Liz left the house she needed a break. Liz went to ryan's room and picked him up and carried him to the front door.
“Where are you going?” Sean asked.
“ I'm going to serena's for a while” Liz said as she went out the door carrying Ryan.
Liz knocked on serena's door. Serena asnwered the door.
“whats going on?” She asked.
“ Everything is falling apart”Liz said as she started to cry.
“you know dont you?” Serena said looking at her.
“what?” liz asked curiously.
“ you know what sean has been doing right?”
“No” Liz looked at him confused.
“Oh boy me and my big mouth. Sean has been playing you. When he says he has been working late he's been with this cute little dispy little blond, that has been working with him. She lives like three apartments down from me” serena replied.
“Oh god! I knew it!” Liz said.
“I'm so sorry Liz”
“How did you know before I did?” Liz asked curiously.
“Because I saw him over there with her. I think he was drunk or something”
Liz put Ryan down and sat on the couch and Put her hands to her face.
“What am I going to do? I cant go through this again” Liz replied as she covered her face with her hands.
“Maybe you should go back to roswell and separate for a while and Decide what you need to do” Serena said comforting her friend. Serena hated men like them. they Always thought that women were their property.
“maybe your right?” Liz said softly.

part 4
A/N - sorry this part is so short I wanted to get straight to the point the next part will tell alot.
*That night *
Max couldnt sleep, he tossed and turned. This room was making him think of Tess. went to the kitchen and grabbed a cherry coke from the frige. He turned back around and Saw tess standing there.
“Tess?” he said softly.
“max” She said softly.
“What are you doing here?” max asked.
“ I....I..”
“you what?” max asked curiously.
“I'm pregnant” Tess said softly.
“your...Pregnant?” max asked.

“yes”She took his hand and placed it on her stomach. He felt the connection.
“wow”Max said softly.
“dont sound so happy”tess said pulling away.
“ i cant believe this, after you broke up with for no reason”
“ I broke up with you because every time I kissed you or touched you...you werent thinking about me you were thinking about her!” tess yelled.
“ me and Liz are no more!” Max yelled back.
“I bet your thinking about her right now”
“Liz will always be in my heart you know that!” max yelled.
“just tell me you love me! Tell me that you dont feel her anymore!”
“I...dont” Max said softly.
“Why dont I believe you!” Max pulled tess into his arms and started Kissing her.
“what am I thinking about?” he asked softly. tess smiled softly and wrapped her arms around max's neck and kissed him again. Max carried her into the room.

Max couldnt sleep, he tossed and turned. This room was making him think of Tess. went to the kitchen and grabbed a cherry coke from the frige. He turned back around and Saw tess standing there.

Part 5
max and tess were in the moment, But max couldnt do it. He couldnt be with her. he pulled away from her . He laid on his back in bed.
“Whats Wrong?”tess asked.
“Nothing I need some air”max said as she pulled a shirt and pants on and left the apartmet. Tess laid back down on the bed. She was hoping the mind warp would of worked on him. He was still thinking about Liz. She would do anything to keep him, even if she had to pretend she was a pregnant for a while. He wasnt believing it. she had to make him believe it. Max walked the streets slowly in the dark.
He wondered if Tess was being truthful with him. She said she was pregnant he felt the connection when he touched her stomach. But something wasnt right. Something was wrong he could feel it. Liz still lingered in the back of his mind.
Liz Kept Ryan at serena's place. She went back to her place to grab some clothes. She entered the place and Sean was gone. She quickly grabbed a few of her things and Ryans and stuffed them in a bag. By tonight her and Ryan would be on the first plane back to roswell.
The Next Day -
Liz walked through the back doors of the crashdown. She heard the familiar sounds of Michael and maria arguing.
“Am I interuppting something?” Liz asked as she smiled at them.Maria Turned and looked and was suprised to see Liz there.
“Oh my god! Liz! where did you come from!” Maria yelled as she hugged her best friend tightly.

“What did he do?”
“I dont want to talk about it right now. Where's max?” Liz asked.
“I dont know I havent seen him all day”
“Dont tell him I'm here yet” Liz replied.

Liz was happy for the first time in her life. She laid in Seans arms watching a movie in her room. Max Crawled up the fire Escape and went to Liz's Room.He looked through the window and saw Liz Asleep in seans Arms. His Heart broke into a thousand pieces. It was just a week a ago they had slept together for the first time and here she was in seans arms? Max quickly left. He was furious, he wanted to punch something.
He Went back to his room. He slammed the door of his room. He Sat against the wall of his room angry. there was a soft knock on his door. Tess opened the door and saw Him. She seen his face. He was upset.
“max?” She said softly.
“Go away” max said as tears ran down his face.
“What happened?”
“Nothing, I want to talk about” Tess Brushed his hair away from his face.
“When your ready to talk I'm here” tess said softly.

Liz couldnt set around and do nothing. Her parents were watching Ryan. As she left the crashdown she bumped into Michael.
“liz?” Michael said.

“what are you doing here? Does Max know your back in Roswell?”
“No And I somewhat want to keep it that way”
“Why? Whats going on?”
“Just..Dont..tell him I'm back in town yet” Liz said softly.

Sean laid in the other womens bed. What he was doing was wrong, but it happened. He had fallen for another women. The Blond turned and In the bed to face him. She slightly touched his face.
“What are you thinking about?” She said softly. Sean smiled and played with her hair.

“ Does your wife know about us yet?” She asked.
“She will soon or she already has”
“ We cant live a lie”She replied as she crawled out of bed and went into the bathroom. Sean heard his cell ringing. He quickly answered it.

“What the hell did you do to liz?” She screamed into the phone.

maria Hung the phone up. She wanted to beat some sense into her Cousin. There had to be some way she could get info out of Liz. Liz came back into the crashdown with michael.Maria took Liz by the arm and dragged her up stairs.
“whats really going on Liz? Because if you dont tell Me I sware to god I will never speak to you again! What did sean Do?” Maria demanded.
“I told you I dont want to talk about it” Liz said as she looked away from Maria.
“Liz, if you dont tell me I will Tell max your here and I will Tell him everything he doesnt know.” Liz looked maria in the eyes this time. She knew maria was being serious.
“You wouldnt!” Liz yelled. Maria put her hand to her ears as if she was Talking on a phone.
“Hello Max Liz is here and by the way she is here with your son!” Maria said.
“ you cant tell him! It will kill Sean! He loves Ryan!” Liz yelled.
“it only takes one phone call. Max Needs to know that Ryan is his son!.”
*Flashback*
Liz Looked at herself in the mirror. She couldnt believe this. She looked down at the test
“God! This isnt good!” Liz said as she started crying. There was a soft knock on the bathroom door. Maria came into the bathroom.

“We have alot to talk about. Mainly its about max. I know he loves but you see he's destined to be with me.”
“ Like I dont already know that” Liz replied.
“ you should stick with Sean, he is way better for you. I heard that you were pregnant and it might be max's” tess said as she slowly walked up to liz.
“How do you know that?” Liz asked curiously.
“I have ears I hear things. If you tell him, I will seriously hurt you. If you want a normal I suggest you stay away from what I want” tess said with an evil smile.

“There you are Ryan! Now run up stairs and see your Mommy” Max Looked over at Nancy parker curiously.
“Mrs parker is he your....”Max asked.
“Ohh max That was my grandson Ryan. Liz's Little boy” nancy parker replied.

“yeah I think she is upstairs talking to maria.” Max went into the back and saw Liz and maria coming down the stairs.
“uh oh” Maria said looking over at Liz.

“You again” he said.
“I drew this for you” Ryan said as he handed max a piece of paper.
“thanks Now I think me your mommy need to talk” max said smiling.
“Ok” ryan ran back upstairs. Max looked at the picture and noticed it was a giant greenspaceship.
“Cute” Max said.
“Yeah, enough! Look” Liz took the paper from and threw it on the couch.
“Ok Liz this your freaking me out”
“I'm just going to come out and saw it” Liz took a deep breath and tried to find the words to say.
“Just say it liz” Max said.
“ Ryan is your son” Max looked at her confused.
“What?” Max said.
“Your his father!” Liz yelled.
“ No...No...Sean is his father” Max said.
“No Ryan is definetly your son. I was Pregnant when before I got married to sean. I just told him he was his. But I knew he was yours”

Part 7
The next day -
Sean Had Taken two buses and A cab to get back to roswell. the cab pulled up in front of the crashdown he figured that Liz would be there. he threw Twentuy dollars at the cab driver and jumped out.
maria heard the door open and looked up and saw Sean walking in through the door.
“Where is she?” He asked.
“Well, well if it isnt my Good for nothing jackass cousin!” Maria yelled.
“Maria! Just tell me where she is?” Sean demanded.
“No! To get to her you to get through me My loveable cousin and I have a few choice words for you that I cant Use in this lovely establishment the parkers own” Maria smiling as she dragged sean to the back. She pushed sean up against the wall. She was going to literally beat the crap out of him.
“what the hell is wrong with you!” Maria said letting go of him.
“Maria I dont have time for this!”
“oh your going to make time! I cant believe you!”
“maria this is between me and Liz”
“yeah well now its between you, max and Liz. Because she told him everything.”
“what?” Sean asked curiously.
“She told...max...nevermind” maria said.

“She told him That he is the father of Ryan” maria said.
“What? Oh god I knew It!” sean yelled.
“What do you care anyways! I mean you must be happy with your woman on the side!” maria yelled.
“I came back here to make things right with Liz” Sean said. Maria Laughed, she would never believe him in a million years.
“yeah right. And what are you going to tell your girl on the side. 'oh by the way I am married and I cant be with you because I want to make things right with my wife!'” Maria yelled.
“maria if your not going to let me see her then just tell her I am here in Roswell” Sean said.
“ yeah whatever” Maria said as she walked away from him.
Tess seen The look on Max's face as he sat in the living room of the apartment. She sat down next to him and sexly ran her fingers through his hair. Max pulled away.
“Whats wrong?” She asked.
“Nothing I Just want to be alone I have alot to think about” max said.
“what could you possibly have to think about? We are starting a family now. Dont tell me your having cold feet?” Tess said.
“ Its not that its something else. I just...I need some air” mx said.
“ Its about Liz isnt it? She's breaking up whats meant to be” tess yelled.
“What?” Max said looking at her confused.
“We are destined to be together you know that, liz knows that. Its whats meant to be. Its all in the book” Tess said.
“Fuck the book Tess! I dont care about Destinys!” max yelled.
“Well you did until you started thinking about her again! That Bitch has you wrapped around her little Finger! God! How do you know that little boy isnt Really Seans?” Tess said looking up at Max. Max looked at her confused.
“How do you know about Ryan?” Max asked. Tess was quiet for a moment. 'dam my big mouth!' tess thought.

“save it! you knew about this didnt you? You knew Liz was Pregnant before she ,married Sean didnt you?” Max asked.
“ yeah I knew! I did what I had to do to keep you away from Liz! Dont you get it! you have a destiny! And That destiny is not with her!”
“Shut the hell up! Your luckly Right now I dont Kill you!” Max said with anger running through him.
“I did what I had to do!” Tess yelled.
“You ruined everything between me and Liz! If you werent in the picture she would of never married Sean!” Max yelled as he slammed the door to the apartment and left.
Liz had everything packed and ready to go. Ryan pulled at her leg.
“Ryan sweetie we have to go” Liz said.
“I dont wanna Go! I like it here mommy! maria Is nice and I like max too!” Ryan yelled.
“Well sweetie we have to go home you have school and...” Liz Looked over and saw Max standing in the door way.
“you Leaving?” Max said softly.
“Yeah I'm going back to LA” Liz replied.
“Your going to leave after what you just told me?” Max asked.
“Its clear to me that I am better off in LA” Liz replied. Max Knew there was something else going on. he could see it In Liz's Eyes. He knew she didnt want to go back to LA.
“Liz why did you really come back to roswell? Did something happen between you and Sean?” Max asked curiously.
“No everything is fine” Liz lied nothing was fine. She couldnt tell max that she wasnt happy being with sean.
“Dont lie Liz, just tell me whats going on?” max asked.
“ Look If this is some kind of Plan to make me stay it isnt going to work”Liz said as she scooped little Ryan up in her Arms.
“ I'll do anything to make you stay,you that” Max said softly.
“I cant stay I have a life back in LA” Liz replied. Liz swung her bag over her shoulder and pushed past max. She wasnt going to let max get to her not now not ever. As she made her way through the crashdown max followed her. As she made into the dinning area of the crashdown she seen sean sitting there waiting for. Max saw him and knew there was more trouble to come.
“Sean? what are you doing here?” liz asked. Before Liz knew what was going on Sean Punched max square in the jaw.
The next day -
Sean Had Taken two buses and A cab to get back to roswell. the cab pulled up in front of the crashdown he figured that Liz would be there. he threw Twentuy dollars at the cab driver and jumped out.
maria heard the door open and looked up and saw Sean walking in through the door.
“Where is she?” He asked.
“Well, well if it isnt my Good for nothing jackass cousin!” Maria yelled.
“Maria! Just tell me where she is?” Sean demanded.
“No! To get to her you to get through me My loveable cousin and I have a few choice words for you that I cant Use in this lovely establishment the parkers own” Maria smiling as she dragged sean to the back. She pushed sean up against the wall. She was going to literally beat the crap out of him.
“what the hell is wrong with you!” Maria said letting go of him.
“Maria I dont have time for this!”
“oh your going to make time! I cant believe you!”
“maria this is between me and Liz”
“yeah well now its between you, max and Liz. Because she told him everything.”
“what?” Sean asked curiously.
“She told...max...nevermind” maria said.
“told him what? I want to know”
“She told him That he is the father of Ryan” maria said.
“What? Oh god I knew It!” sean yelled.
“What do you care anyways! I mean you must be happy with your woman on the side!” maria yelled.
“I came back here to make things right with Liz” Sean said. Maria Laughed, she would never believe him in a million years.
“yeah right. And what are you going to tell your girl on the side. 'oh by the way I am married and I cant be with you because I want to make things right with my wife!'” Maria yelled.
“maria if your not going to let me see her then just tell her I am here in Roswell” Sean said.
“ yeah whatever” Maria said as she walked away from him.
Tess seen The look on Max's face as he sat in the living room of the apartment. She sat down next to him and sexly ran her fingers through his hair. Max pulled away.
“Whats wrong?” She asked.
“Nothing I Just want to be alone I have alot to think about” max said.
“what could you possibly have to think about? We are starting a family now. Dont tell me your having cold feet?” Tess said.
“ Its not that its something else. I just...I need some air” mx said.
“ Its about Liz isnt it? She's breaking up whats meant to be” tess yelled.
“What?” Max said looking at her confused.
“We are destined to be together you know that, liz knows that. Its whats meant to be. Its all in the book” Tess said.
“Fuck the book Tess! I dont care about Destinys!” max yelled.
“Well you did until you started thinking about her again! That Bitch has you wrapped around her little Finger! God! How do you know that little boy isnt Really Seans?” Tess said looking up at Max. Max looked at her confused.
“How do you know about Ryan?” Max asked. Tess was quiet for a moment. 'dam my big mouth!' tess thought.

“ yeah I knew! I did what I had to do to keep you away from Liz! Dont you get it! you have a destiny! And That destiny is not with her!”
“Shut the hell up! Your luckly Right now I dont Kill you!” Max said with anger running through him.
“I did what I had to do!” Tess yelled.
“You ruined everything between me and Liz! If you werent in the picture she would of never married Sean!” Max yelled as he slammed the door to the apartment and left.

“Ryan sweetie we have to go” Liz said.

“you son of a bitch!” sean yelled as Michael tried to keep him back. maria tried to keep max back. Michael Pusjed Sean Into the back of the crashdown, Liz followed Them.
“What the hell is wrong with you!” Liz yelled. As She shuved Sean.
“ you Lied to me liz!” Sean yelled.
“ Your turning this all around On me? Your the one cheating on me!”Liz yelled.You cant Have me and your girlfriend On the side sean” Liz said.
“I'm sorry its just that... lately you arent there. you pulled away from me a long time ago Liz”
“and thats when you started seeing the dumb blond bimbo you work with? Does she Know about me? Does she know that your wife sat at home waiting for you all night when you didnt come home? Does she know that? I cant even look at you! And then you come here and try to act like I'm your property! You dont own me! you cant have me and your bimbo girlfriend too” Liz yelled.
“Your Still hung up on him arent you? Well he can have you now, since he is Ryan's Father!”Sean yelled.
“I'm going to back to LA, dont follow me” Liz said.
“you wont go back to LA and you know it! You'll stay here and be with him!”
“Me and max are over! We have been for a long time!” Liz yelled.
“I can see it in your eyes. you never looked at me the way you look at him. I can never compare to him. But I am willing to make things work Liz, to start over because I love you”
“ You dont want me around max do you? It kills you to see him with me doesnt it? I must be Insane! I surely need my head examined because arent you the one who is cheating on me? you think Starting over will make me forget that very important factor?”

“Dont! I have nothing more to say to you! When I get back to LA I want a divorce” Liz said as she Picked Ryan up and walked out of the crashdown.
Hours Later -
Liz couldnt get herself to go back to LA. She sat In Michael's apartment With maria Crying. Little Ryan was fast asleep In michael's room.
“So what are you going to do now liz?” maria asked trying to comfort her.
“I dont know” Liz said softly.
“ stay here in Roswell until you can get things straightened out” Maria said.
“I cant stay here!” Liz yelled as tears rolled down her eyes.
“Why? Is it because of what tess said to you? Liz I dont care About My stupid jackass cousin, he's an ass for doing this to you. But you do realize that their are people here who truly do care about you.” Maria said. There was a soft knock on the apartment door. Michael went to answer it and saw Max.
“is she here?” Max asked. Michael closed the door behind him.
“yeah But I dont know if she wants to talk to anyone else right now” Michael replied.
“ what did sean do to her?” max asked.
“he cheated on her maxwell, and I dont think you need to get in the middle of this, Sean already gave you one bloody lip” michael replied.
“ I just want to talk to her, I....”
“maxwell” Liz came to the door and motioned to michael that she did want to talk to max. Michael went back inside.
“ I know you dont want anything to do with me right now. I'm sorry that I hurt you in the past and that Sean has hurt you.” Max said softly.
“ max... I...I dont want my heart broken again” Liz replied.
“Then at least stay in roswell. I want to beable to see Ryan grow up I want to be a father for the first time”
“What about tess? Where does tess come in all this?” Liz asked.
“Screw tess! she doesnt even matter anymore”
“Really? because she will always be a factor. She's the reason why I married Sean, she's the reason why I Wanted a normal life. It was better to have you forfill your destiny rather then be with me”
“ Liz, havent I told you we choose our destiny's? And My destiny is you and Ryan.” max said softly.
Tess Sat on the park bench. She looked up at the stars , everything was falling apart for her. All max could think about was his precious Liz parker. tess was about Give up. She had her moments with max. But she knew if she worked her magic she could get him back. All she had to do was make him wake up and realize that his destiny was with her. Tess smiled as she seen Kyle walk up to her.
“A beautiful blond all alone” He said smiling.
“ that would be me” tess said with a sympathedic look on her face.
“I heard about you and max” he replied as he sat down next to her.
“yeah well Its done and over with” tess said as she took in the night air.
“ How about we go and see if the grill is still open at the crashdown?”Kyle asked.
“Sure I could use a burger right now” tess said softly smiling. 'kyle valenti, he could be alot of help' tess thought. He could use him at a time like this. tess smiled at him as she walked with him to the crashdown.

max heard a knock on his apartment door. max opened it and was suprised to see sean.
“Great! Come to give me another fat Lip” Max said.
“No I came to talk”
“Maybe I dont want to talk to you” Max said as he left the door open and sean walked in.
“Well thats too bad because we need to talk” sean replied.
“talk away”max said.
“Look , I love Liz and I know I screwed up big time with her” Sean replied.
Max laughed, was he actually admitting he screwed up royally?
“ yeah and your point is?” Max replied.
“ I want to make things right with her. I'm the only father ryan has ever known and I want it to stay that way” Sean replied.
“You cant stop me from seeing him or Liz” max replied.
“ wanna make a bet?” sean said.
“Son of a bitch! Are you threatening me?”Max asked.
“you bet I am! Stay away from Liz and stay away from ryan while they are in roswell” Sean said.
“ Liz isnt property! I cant believe she married you” Max said.
“ Just do as I say or I will have your ass in jail” sean said as he left.
“Son of bitch!” Max yelled. Max grabbed his jacket and headed out the door. He wasnt going to let sean threaten him and get away with it.
The next Morning -
Liz didnt sleep a wink, she had got Ryan dressed and was headed out the door she was ready to go back to LA and Live her Life again. But something was stopping her. She sat on the bed and started to cry. Little Ryan came upto her and hugged her tighly.
“mommy is ok” She said softly hugging Ryan tighly.
“dont cry you make me sad too” He said.
“ I just dont know what to do Rye” Liz said to her son.
“Its ok mommy” Ryan said as he ran downstairs. Liz followed him as she came to the bottom of the stairs she seen Michael isabel, maria looking up at her.
“I know why your here” She said softly.
“We want you to stay Liz” Maria said.
“ I've decided to stay make things right. But I dont want Ryan to know that max is his father . He's too young to understand Right now” Liz replied. Maria hugged Liz tightly.
“i'm so glad your staying” Maria said softly. Liz didnt know about this. She wasnt sure if staying in roswell was the best thing to do. But she knew that she had people here who loved her. 'and thats the best thing' liz thought. But she didnt know how she was going to deal with the whole max situation. She knew she wouldnt beable to avoid him if she stayed in roswell.
max walked into the crashdown through the back. He seen everyone surrounded around liz. As soon as he entered the room everyone scattered.
“hey” He said softly.
“Hey” Liz said softly.
“So are you staying?” Max asked.
“yeah” Liz replied.
“Look... I know you dont want me in your life, and I'll stay away. But I will always be there when you need me” Max said.
“OK” Liz said softly. Max knew that Liz didnt want him to stay away. he could hear it in her voice.
“So what happens now?”max asked. Max didnt want to liz that Sean pratically threatened him. He didnt want to cause more problems.
“I dont know” Liz said softly. Liz looked into his eyes, the very eyes she missed. She wanted to fall in his arms and have him comfort her. But she knew it would never happen again.
“ I better go” Max said softly as he started to leave. But liz stopped him. He turned and Looked her in the eyes. She wanted to say something but she couldnt say it.
“ Thank you” Liz replied.
“For what?” Max asked.
“ For wanting to be there” Liz replied. Max smiled and left the crashdown. His heart was tearing up inside. He wanted Liz so bad. But he couldnt have her.
