Summary: After Graduation Liz moved to California to get away from the Pod Squad. While she is out there she meets some interesting people. She gets a scholarship to UCLA. Crossover w/OTH Liz/Lucas.

September 2002::
Well I’m finally here in sunny Southern California. I’m still in shock that I was actually able to leave Roswell. I just had to get away from there and start living my life for me and not for them, mainly Max. When Tess came back from her little vacation with a son, shocking I know, Max wanted nothing to do with her, saying that the child belonged to somebody else and that he and Tess never slept together. At first I believed him, because I was so naïve, that I thought that he would never betray me like that. As time went on Baby Zan started resembling Max, mainly the ears and the color of his hair. This all happened before senior year started.
Here is a recap of what happened this past year.
Me and Maria were having a girls night watching chick flicks and eating ice cream.
“Liz, you don’t actually believe that the baby is Max’s do you?” said Maria.
“I don’t know what to believe Ria, I know Tess would do anything to get me and Max to split up, but come on this is down right evil.” I said, not believing my own words.
“I’m just saying there is a possibility, you yourself said that you saw them making out after prom. And that they even left together.” Said Maria with a spoonful of ice cream.
“I know, I know. I can accept the fact he made out with her, but…if he really did have sex with her, I don’t know how I’ll handle it. I really love him, Ria.” I said trying to believe myself.
“Ya se, I know chica, but .”
“No buts Maria, I can’t talk about this anymore, the more we talk about the more I actually believe that he cheated on me.” I said fed up with this conversation.
“Ok, we’ll drop the topic. So what are we doing this weekend besides work?”asked Maria.
“How about we go watch the new Hairspray, it comes out on Friday.”I suggested.
“Ok, sounds like a date. I heard that is supposed to be a really good movie musical. Just think, all the singing.” Maria said with excitement. After that we continued to watch John Tucker Must Die.

The rest of the week went by rather quickly. Max’s mom and dad apparently believed Tess over Max, because they were so excited that they had a grandson. While Tess was at school, Diane would baby-sit Zan. Max was still persistent that the baby was not his. For some reason I got the feeling that he was saying to convince himself than me. It was now Friday and we were swapped at work. Me and Maria were wondering if we were even going to be able to go watch the movie tonight.
“Hey chica, do you think we’ll even finish before the movie starts?” asked Maria
“We should, I know we’re busy now, but it should be dying down in the next hour.”I informed her.
As I told Maria, we were out of work in no time, and now we just finished watching the movie. I’ll admit, for a movie musical it was really good. I loved the songs, well almost all of them.
“Zac Efron looked really cute as Link, much better than he did in the High School Musical movies.” Said Maria.
“I know, just the way his hair was all fixed up. I really liked the wardrobe, just reminds me of how nice it must have been to grown up back then.” I said.
“Oh, I know. I love it.” said Maria
“Oh well, it nice to think about it. OMG, Maria look who it is.” I said in shock.
“Who, where are you looking?” asked Maria.
“Right there Ria, I can’t believe that he is out with her after he told me he had no interest in her.”I said getting sad. I was looking away from them.
“OMG, that bastard, I can’t believe that he would do this to you. Whatever you do chica, do not turn around.” Said Maria in an angry voice.
“Why not?” as I turned back around I got my answer.

Chapter 2.
“That asshole, I can’t believe that I trusted him. Come on Ria, let’s go.”I said with tears welling up.
As we left , I turned back once more and saw that Tess had this big ass smile on her face, I swore that I saw her lips move saying specifically to me, “I won.”
Same time in Tree Hill…
“Hayley, I don’t care what Brooke has to say, I don’t want to get back together with her.” Said Lucas, upset that Hayley was defending Brooke.
“Luc, I know that what Brooke did was really bad, but she regrets it.” Said Hayley.
“Hayl, the only reason why she regrets it, is because I got her while she fucking that asshole.” Yelled Lucas.
“You don’t have to yell Lucas, I get it. I know exactly what you are going through.” Stated Hayley.
“I know, and I’m sorry for yelling. It’s just that I can’t get over what happened. I just want this school year to be over so that I can move Los Angeles, so that I can meet new people.” Said Lucas.
Back to Roswell…
“I still can’t believe that Max was making out with Tess in public. For some reason, I now believe that he did sleep with her. I don’t know what I’m gonna do Ria.” I said crying.
“I know chica, just break up with him, you can and will do better than him. There are a lot of boys at school that will love to go out with you.” Said Maria
“I don’t know, doesn’t that seem kind of sudden?”I asked.
“Well, kind of, but look at Max. You two are dating, but he has no problem shacking up with that bitch.” said Maria. I laughed, because the way she said it was funny and true.
“I know, as much as I love him, I have to get over him and this whole situation.” I said.
“Now, that’s my Liz. I know you well get over this whole drama shit. So in order to do that, we are going to go out to the new club that just opened up. Deal?” asked Maria.
“Deal. This is going to be soo much fun.” I said. As of that moment on Max Evans was no longer a big piece of my life.
Jan.2001
I am so glad that I took Maria’s advice to go out and start seeing other guys. When I told Max that we are through and that there is no chance in hell that we would ever get back together, he started to act like he was devastated that I was breaking up with him. When I told that I saw him and Tess making out in line at the movies on Friday night, he tried to deny, but I wasn’t buying his lies anymore. I was completely over it. When I asked him to tell me the truth about Tess and the baby, he confessed that he did have sex with her the night of prom. After that moment, we were merely acquaintances .
So I have been dating this guy named Tony for the past 3months. I met him on Halloween at the club that Maria and I have been going to. At first it was really nice meeting somebody who is not like Max in anyway. Tony drinks, smokes and he is a jock. He’s really tall, brown hair, and the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen. And did I mention boy has muscle. I’m having a blast.
Phone ringing:”Hey tony.”
“Hey beautiful, how are you doing?” asked Tony.
“I’m doing good, just finishing up my history homework. Why, what are you doing?”
“Well, now that you asked, I was planning on going to Doug’s party tonight, do you and Maria want to go? It should be fun.” Said Tony.
“Hmmm…let me think about. Umm..hell yes I want to go. Are you going to pick me?”
“Of course I will. I’ll be there in an hour. So you be ready.”
“Ok. I’ll call Maria. I’ll see you in an hour.”
“All right, bye.”
“Bye.”
After I got off the phone with Tony, I called Maria to let her know. She said she would go, if Michael went. That was fine, I guess.
At the party:…
Once we got to the party, we started to do shots, well except for Michael, he and drinks do not mix well. After we finished taking shots we started to dance and get lost in the music, me and Tony started making out like crazy. Maria came up to me and told me that her and Michael wanted to go home. So, the party was cut short, but me and Tony had other plans. Because Tony was in no state to drive, Michael did.
“So, do you want to go back to your house?” asked Tony.
“I wish, but we can’t my parents are home, why don’t we go to your house?”
“I guess we could, but my brothers are there.”
“Come on, you know you want to have more fun. Plus your parents aren’t home.”
“Umm….ok let’s go.” said Tony with excitement.
As of now me and Tony have only fooled around, to 3rd base. I think tonight we will be making a home run, so to speak.
The next day(Sunday)
“Hey chica, what did you and T do after we dropped you off.”
“Oh, umm…we went over to his house and hung out, then I came home.”
“Really, I thought you two would have done it already. I mean you guys were all over each other.”
“Hahaha…real funny Ria. I know we were dancing closely and kissing but that was it.” I said trying not to give anything away. I already know how Maria is and she’ll want details.
“So what did you guys do once you got to his house?” asked Maria. Trying to see if something really did happen.
“Well, we were talking and the usual hook up session. You know what?”
“What? OMG are you serious?” Maria said all giddy.
“Yeah, we did. I don’t know why, I guess ‘cause it was the next step to take.”
“So I take it that you are now officially over Max Evans?”
“Hell yes. I am finally over that jerk.”
“That’s good. I know that you and Tony have this arrangement, but do you think you will want to date him after graduation?” asked Maria
“You know what? As much as I like T, the arrangement that we have is really good because, we won’t have to deal with a long distance relationship after high school. He’s going to go to the east coast, and I’ll be going to the west coast.”
“Come on chica, let’s get ready to go to work.”
“All right.” I said.
The rest of the year went by pretty quickly. Tony and I broke up after graduation as planned, it was sad, but luckily for me I didn’t get to emotionally attached. We still remain friends. Max and Tess are going to be getting married this summer, I was invited, but I won’t be going. Now I am on my way to Los Angeles to start the next chapter in my life. I hope it will be better than the previous chapter of my life.

Chapter 3.

I’ve been in L.A for the past 2 months. I can’t believe how much I actually liked living in a big city, I’m so use to living in a small town. Since I’ve been here I have made friends with the coolest people I know, I met them in one of the summer courses that I was taking at UCLA. My friends here are not like anybody I know back home. So let me recap about the last 2 months.

June 2002: I was sitting in my History class, when these loud talking girls walked in and sat next to me.
I introduced myself to them.
“Hi I’m Liz.”
“Oh, hey my name is Vanessa, but everyone calls me V. These are two of my friends Janet a.k.a JJ and this is Yesenia a.k.a Yessi.”
“Hey Liz, how are you?” asked JJ
“I’m good, just enjoying L.A.”
“Where are you from?” asked Yessi
“I’m from New Mexico”
“Cool. So what brings you to Cali? Besides school?” asked V.
“I just wanted to live somewhere different and have fun in the process.”
“That sounds good. If you like you can come with us tonight, we’re headed to a club in Hollywood. It is always fun there.” Said JJ
“That would be great. Which club is it?” I asked
“Have you ever heard of Club DV-8?”asked Yessi
“Yeah I heard about on the radio on KIIS Fm. That should be fun. Where should we meet?” I asked.
“Umm..Where do u live?”
“I live in West L.A., over there by Centinela and Washington.”
“Oh cool, you are like a block from me. So I’ll just pick you up on my way. Give me your number after class.” Said V.
After that, the Professor started class. It was really interesting.

Later that at the club was soo much fun. I haven’t had that much fun in awhile. After the club we all went home to get ready for school and work the next day.
School was ok, I only had 2 classes. After school I had to drive across town to West Hollywood to my work. No surprise, but I work in a restaurant called The Spanish Kitchen. It is a Mexican-food place. I liked when I first saw it. I made some friends at work also. There was Brenda a.k.a B, Jose a.k.a Jo and Gaby. They are so hilarious. B and Jo are cousins and they are always making people laugh when they bicker at each other. Gaby has known B and Jo since elementary school. Jo and I have this little flirting thing going on. It never was anything more than that.
The next few weeks went by the same way. The only thing that changed, which was for the better, was that we were all hanging out together. So it was me, V, JJ, Yessi, B, Jo, and Gaby and sometimes B’s boyfriend Brian.
---back in Tree Hill---
I can’t believe that I did not leave after graduation. I’m such a dumbass to listen to my mom to stay for the summer. I kept telling her that I want to go, but she doesn’t listen.
Brooke keeps trying to get back together, and I keep telling her that there was no chance in hell that I would be getting back together. She finally got the hint and started to party her life away like she used. Nathan and his current girlfriend of the month, broke because they are both leaving for school next week. Nathan got into to USC and I got UCLA. Two rival schools for two rivaling brothers. Basketball is going to be really good. I’m now on my way to California.
----Back in L.A----
“Come on Liz, just go. It is suppose to be a good movie.” Said V
“I really want to but….”
“But what Liz? Come on just us girls. We’ll go to our usual place and then the movie.” Said JJ
“Ok, I’ll go, It did look like a really good movie.”

Chapter 4.
While we were there I noticed these two cute guys walk in. One of them was tall with dark hair and the other one had blonde hair, he was also tall. As they were walking to their table, the blonde guy kept looking at me. I nudged V and told her to look at the tall dark and handsome one. As she did she gave a nod, meaning that she liked what she saw. Being the outgoing one that V is, she walked to their table and started talking to them. As she was talking to them, they looked over at our table, the next thing I know she’s coming back with a smile on her face.
“So…?” I asked
“Nothing much. I just asked them what they were doing after dinner.” Said V.
“And..what did they say?” said JJ
“They said that they were going to go see an action movie, and I told them what a coincidence, because so are we.” Said V.
“I can’t believe you actually did that V, you’re a such a loca.” Said Yessi
“Well I figure that me and Liz here need to get some boyfriends or at least guys when can have fun with(wink)” said V
“Well that sounds understandable. Yessi & JJ already have boyfriends. And they’re all the ggod stuff.” I said.
While we were about to leave, the guys walked over to our table and asked us if we wanted to walk with them to theaters. As if by a miracle, Yessi’s boyfriend called and asked her and JJ to go with him & Danny (JJ’s boyfriend) somewhere. Yessi agreed right away.
“Hey chicas, me and JJ have to go, that was Mario and Danny, they want me and JJ to go with them somewhere.” Said Yessi.
“Sorry girls, we’ll call you later.” Said JJ
“That’s ok, we have Nathan and Lucas to hang out with tonight.” Said V
“Yeah they do. It was night to meet you girls. See you around” said Nathan.
“Ok chicas, I’ll see you tomorrow.” I said.
“Ok Bye.” Said Yessi & JJ.
Once they left me, Lucas, Nathan, and V went to go see the movie. It was a really good movie.
After the movie as we were walking towards the parking lot, me and Lucas started talking about everything.
“So what school are you going to?” Lucas asked.
“U.C.L.A and you?”
“Same. My brother Nathan is going to U.S.C”
“Wow, brothers at rival schools. Are you on one of the teams at school?
“Yeah, I’m on the basketball team. So is Nathan.”
“I’m going to have to go to some of the games now.”
“That would be great. So Liz, do you want to go out sometime?”
“That would be nice. Here is my cell# 310-555-8746.”
“Cool. I hope to see you soon.” He leaned over and gave me a kiss on the cheek. It was so sweet.
Nathan and V were also getting along really well. I guess me and V are out of our love rut.

“So what were you and V talking about?”asked Lucas.
“Oh nothing much. Just what we like to do for fun, she seems like a cool person.” Said Nathan
“Really? She seems very forward. The opposite of Liz.”
“I know, that’s what I like. She know what she wants, and she has no problems saying so.”
“I guess. Did you get her number?”
“Yup, sure did. I’ll give her a call in a few days. The nice thing is, we go to different schools.”
“Easier for you to hide from her, if you live on the opposite side of town.”
“In a sense. You never know what might happen. So when are you going to call Liz?”
I’ll probably call on either Wednesday or Thursday, so that way we can go out over the weekend.” Said Lucas.

“OMG V, Lucas is so cute and to top it he’s into sports. Meaning I now have a reason to go to the school games. So what did you think of Nathan?” I asked
“He’s cool. Definitely someone that I can have fun with if you know what I’m saying.”
“Oh you are bad V, I wish I can do that. If I got to the games, will you go with me?
“Of course I will. Only if you go with me to the U.S.C games.
“Deal.” We both said.

Chapter 5.
Wednesday
I was sitting in the living room doing my home work when the phone rang.
“Hello.”
“Hey Liz, it’s Lucas.”
“Oh hey, how are you?”
“I’m good just got out of practice. So, I was wondering if you had any plans for Friday night?”
“Um… no I don’t. Why?”
“Well I was wondering if you want to go to dinner in Marina del Rey.”
“Yeah, that sounds good. Where are you off to now?”
“I was on my way home to finish my homework. You?”
“I’m at home doing my home-work. If you want, you can be my study buddy.” I can’t believe I just said that. I’m such an idiot.
“That would be nice. If you don’t mind I can come over in one hour.”
“That would be nice.” I have to get put on a cute sexy outfit, but not to obvious.

When I heard a knock on the door I tried not to run and answer it.
“Hey”
“Hey Liz”
“Come in Lucas.”
“Thanks. Liz you look good.”
“Thank you, you too.”
“So what class are you studying for?” I asked
“Cinema History. It’s an elective course. What about you.”
“History, right now it is European history and next semester it’s going to be Mexican history.”
“Wow , you must really like history.”
“I really do. So where are your books to study?”
“Like I said cinema history. So I brought over my homework, which is the movie ‘Marnie’ by Alfred Hitchcock. What do you say, you want to help me study?”
“Umm…I don’t know.”
“Come on Liz, it’s suppose to be Hitchcock’s most underrated film. It should be really good.”
“Ok. I’ve never seen that movie before anyways. And all I’m doing now for my class is just re-reading the chapters.”
As we were watching the movie, I was leaning against Lucas as it was something I always do. I felt so comfortable with him. He looked at me and I was looking back at him and the next thing I know we were having a full make-out session on my couch. My hands were under his shirt and his hands were doing amazing things with his hands underneath my shirt. It was getting really intense and I took off his shirt and mine. And then we moved into my room and well, you can guess what happened.
---------so what do you guys think so far? I'm begining to get writers block, so if any u have any ideas i'm more than willing to take them into consideration.
