Liz taps my shoulder to get my attention. I raise my eyes to see her pointing at our gal pals. "There they are!" She exclaims over the crowd. We begin to make our way up the stairs when Liz immediately stops and whirls around. I'm not sure exactly what's going on. Although from the look on her face I'm thinking it can't be good. She flashes the guy a smile that looks anything but friendly. Waving him forward he leans in and before the guy knows what hit him she pushes him backwards causing him to fall into the crowd.
"Next time you try that on somebody, creep, make sure that you have your life insurance policy up to date!" She spouts and the group starts clapping. I smile proud of my girl. She doesn't take crap from no one. Now that it's done we continue to make our way over to our friends. "Hey Chicas!" I greet them with hugs and air kisses. "I hope you haven't waited long." I add with an appologetic look. A hottie waiter walks past and I stop him with a smokin glance.
"Would you like anything miss?" I eye him up and down. Not bad at all. A little on the blonde side. I usually like my men dark haired. "Actually yes, I would like a screaming orgasm." I ask politely and the poor guys mouth drops open. "Um..." He stutters now very nervous as well as intrigued. "The drink." I clear up with a devilish smirk. "Oh yes. Of course." He clears his throat and then goes over to the bar where I assume he put in my order. I grin at my girls who have watched this whole interaction.

I smirk at Maria's conversation with the waiter and the fact that he didn't even get to my order due to her flirting. Poor man. After giving Isabel and Tess quick hugs and pecks on the cheeks, I clap for her as I sit down and say, "Good job, Maria. He ought to be waiting on us just waiting for you to flirt with him again. He'll keep the drinks coming all night. I didn't get a chance to tell you in the limo but I absolutely love that dress." I turn to the other two. "And those too. I think we all look pretty good tonight."
I happen to see another waiter walk by at that minute and smile as I lightly grab his arm. "Yes, miss?" he asks, his eyes darting from my chest to my legs to my eyes and back again.
I flash a smile and bat my lashes at him a little and say, "I'd love an apple martini please. Oh, and whatever these two want as well. I'm buying the first drinks, girls." I gesture towards Tess and Isabel.

"Finally...you made it." I say as Maria and Liz come up to us and I stand to give each a quick hug and a kiss
We don't really see each other a alot during the week since we all are busy at work so weekends are special girl time.
I can't help but grin when Maria teases the waiter and he walks about all flushed and embarrassed,"Maria, you're so bad." I tell her and punch her in the arm lightly
"I'd love an apple martini please. Oh, and whatever these two want as well. I'm buying the first drinks, girls." Liz informs a passing waiter
"I'll have a Kahlua White Russian please."
When he walks away I turn to Liz,"So...spotted your latest victim yet?"
Oh no! Kyle has some plan which I fear will involve me. And I bet I'll be the one who Max will be angry with at the end. Figures. Before I can say anything - without Max noticing of course - Kyle is already off with a lady. At least some things are the same as usual tonight.
"What's the problem anyways, you aren't fighting for any women are you?"
Michael noticed too? Max does not look happy. Serves him right for being so mysterious about the whole thing.
I stand up huffily, and grab my beer. "No we're not.... because Alex knows I'll kill him if he goes near her!"
I go over to the bar with my beer and immediately a girl who I've been with before called Cassie comes my way. I smile and quickly lead her on to the dance floor without saying anything.
"So...spotted your latest victim yet?" Isabel asks me and I give her a look of surprise.
"Victim?" I echo. "Now that's a harsh word, Isabel. You know that I give every guy I flirt with or go out with a real chance. It's not my fault that none of them turn out to be Prince Charming." I glance around and a huge wall of a man at 6 feet 5 inches, with auburn hair, and who obviously works out due to all the bulging muscles walks by. "Still, a little fun never hurts anyone...and there are so many good looking ones around tonight."
My eyes follow the wall and I unconsciously lick my lips. He catches me as he walks by and he gives me a smile. I smile back and he mouths, "Hi." I mouth it back and he moves to lean against the wall like that had been his destination all along. I grin a little, push my hair over my shoulder, and turn my attention back to the girls. Let him come to me if he's interested.
~KYLE~
As I step onto the dance floor, the redhead moves closer to me and slides her arms over my chest as we move. "I'm Kyle," I shout over the music.
"Tracy!" she returns. "You're hot, Kyle!"
I laugh at that and we move for a few more minutes without saying anything. I keep a respectable distance but then she moves closer and brushes against me before circling me. She sure is a tiny thing. I see Max moving onto the dance floor with some chick and grin. Distracted already. Wait. Haven't I seen him with her before?
"Whew! It's hot out here. Can we go get a drink?" Tracy says, fanning herself.
"Sure!" I say. She slips her hand in mine and I grin at her before leading her over in the direction of one of the bars. When we reach it, however, she pulls her hand out and nods at an empty seat by the wall.
"I'll wait over there. You can bring it to me," she says.
Something about that strikes me as kind of odd. Most girls nowadays are terrified of getting their drinks spiked and I can't blame them but hey if she's trusting enough, I'm not the type to do that. I shrug and say, "Ok. What do you want?"
"Surprise me," she says and I give her a quizzical look. Ok, what the hell? Surprise her?
The warning bells start to go off and something tells me to ask my next question. "Tracy, you are 21 aren't you?"
She laughs but looks away and turns the color of her hair. Oh god. She's underage. "You're not are you," I say as a statement and not a question. "How did you get in here?"
"Fake ID," she admits. "But I am 18! I turned 18 yesterday. This is my friends' way of helping me celebrate."
I groan and shake my head. "Listen. You seem like a sweet girl but you are way too young to be in a place like this. I won't have you thrown out but you and your friends have to leave now or I will find one of the bouncers and have them escort you out."
She looks mad now but I can't help it. The last thing I want on my conscience is for some guy to get her drunk and take advantage of her. "Oh, come on! It's my birthday present. If I promise not to drink, will you let me stay?" she begs and I shake my head again.
"No way. You don't know enough about the type of guys that could prey on a kid like you. You don't have enough life experience to know how to handle them," I tell her. "Now let's move. You need to find your friends and get out of here."
She slaps me hard and I watch her disappear into the crowd. I sigh and place my hand to my cheek. Damn!
Just call me Phoenix...cause I'm back from the dead!
I watch in surprise when the girl Kyle was dcancing with slaps him. Okay, that has happened before but normally Kyle is more grabby-hands before someone slaps him.
"What happened, man?" I ask when he comes back to us.
I make my way back upstairs to the table where Michael and Alex are sitting and drop onto a stool. Alex turns to me and asks what happened. I shake my head. "She's only 18 as of yesterday! Got in with a fake ID. I told her that she needed to leave with her friends now or I'd have one of the bouncers escort them out and she slapped me."
I hold my hand up to a passing waiter and ask for another beer. "How did I end up getting one of the only underage hotties?" I ask nobody in particular. Then I look over at Alex. "So you gonna go talk to the blonde now that Max isn't around?"

An underage hottie? At least he figured it out before the girl's dad went after him.
"So you gonna go talk to the blonde now that Max isn't around?" "Yeah Alex, are you gonna meet this girl?"
"I don't konw, I mean yes, she beautiful, obviously but ... Max seemed really serious earlier when he said we aren't supposed to go near her." I say, thinking about the possible outcomings if I do go over there. "On the other hand, if he sees me with her, he might at least tell us what is going on with him and her."
I nod at Alex's reasoning. "Or...she could tell you about whatever it is between the two of them if you mention that Max recognized her. It might be a good way to break the ice." I grimace as another idea comes to me. "Or it might make it a shorter conversation. Maybe it's just a good idea to let me or Michael try to talk to her for you."

Before any of the girls says anything else, I feel a presence at my side and look up into the wall's face. Man, I need to get this guy's name before I call him Wally or something equally embarrassing. He looks at each of my companions and nods at each of them in greeting before looking into my eyes and grinning. "Care to dance?" he asks.
I smile back and tilt my head slightly. "Possibly. You won't step on my toes or try to grab me will you?" I ask bluntly. He seems like the type who could take it. I know I'm right when he only laughs and holds out his hand for mine.
"Only one way to find out isn't there?" he says, throwing the ball back in my court.
I laugh lightly and place my hand in his. As I stand up, I look at the girls. "I'll be back soon," I say.
I fully expect to be. It's very rare that the first guy I dance with or who buys me a drink ends up taking me home or even getting very far in a conversation. I don't know why. It's not that they are the worst of the lot, simply that they are the first and I like to explore my options. Sometimes I end up with them at the end of the night but not before I've danced and flirted with a couple of others. Don't get me wrong or read too much into my admissions. I don't go home with strange men every time I go out. Nor do I always end up sleeping with all those who end up taking me home. I am not some sex addict. I just love to play and flirt. I'm not a tease...I let them know as soon as I do if they have a chance or not but usually I soften the blow by inviting them to my next party and they end up hooking up with a friend or a party crasher that I hadn't caught and thrown out yet.
We move to the stairs and he leads me gently to the dance floor. The pounding song that comes on has a good beat for moving in a lot of different ways so I decide to let my partner be my guide. I simply move a little as I watch him, trying to catch on to his moves. Ouch. The wall should stay immobile. He's a terrible dancer and his height and size only make it worse. I do my best to move with him but eventually decide to give up and move the way I know how and the way that looks good and distance myself somewhat.
