"That's good," I say, smiling. "So, anyway's, about Khivar. Any plans on how to take him down?"

I sigh. "None at all."
I run my free hand through my hair in frustration. "I havent a clue. Not a sausage"
I growl softly. "Im really worried... I need to handle this situation...I want you and Zan, and Isabel and my family and everyone safe. I need them to be safe. I NEED to take him down. I just havent a clue how."

I frown slightly, thinking to myself. There has got to be some way to get rid of him once and for all. Maybe if Max combined power's with Isabel and Michael that would be enough to take him down...but it wouldn't be. Not without Tess it wouldn't be enough. That's what Future Max had said about the Four Square being incomplete. Did that mean that they didn't stand a chance at all at beating him and Nicholas? What were we suppose to do now?

"There's gotta be something we can do," I said. "I mean, I know that the...Future version of you, he told me that if Tess ever left, the Four Square wouldn't be complete. But, I mean, I have power's. And down's Kyle have power's? You did heal him barely a year after you healed me. Can't he do thing's like I can? Can't he heal? Or can't he get visions like I can? Maybe if we all just combined our power's together we could take him out."

I shake my head. "I cant let you guys do that. I have to deal with this. I need to. I cant have you guys....risking yourselves....getting hurt. I couldnt live with it if you were hurt Liz" I say quietly.

"Well, I couldn't live with myself it you were hurt." I answer him. "And that's exactly what will happen if you try to take Khivar on all by yourself, you're not going to make it." I pause. "You have to let me help you, Max. Please?"

I look down. "I'm meant to protect you all Liz. Im meant to be a leader, but I dont even know how to protect myself." I swallow hard. "Im meant to keep you all safe."

"No one should have that responsibility, Max." I tell him, turning my head to look at him. "You were a King on another planet, not on this one. You're not meant to do anything even though you think that, but it's not true. I love you, Max, and I want to help you with this. I don't want you getting hurt just as much as you don't me getting hurt. Tommorow we can all work on a plan, and then we'll all help you kick this guy's ass, okay? And then once he's gone then thing's can maybe become normal again."

I give her a small smile. "I dont know that things can ever go back now Liz" I say gently. "But...I dont know that thats totally a bad thing. If it wasnt for this...I wouldnt have had another chance with you. And I cant imagine living without you Liz. I did it for seven years and it was...awful. Ask Isabel or any of the others. I became some sort of...of mute monster. Your my grounding...my soul."

I felt as though he had reached out and given my heart a squeeze. I reached out and wrapped my arm around his waist, snuggling in closer to him. "I missed you too you know. My life just isn't the same without you by my side. I love you."

"I love you more" I murmur as I kiss the top of her forehead. I sigh happily.
