I noticed the commotion out on the verandan and even though I didn't want to leave Tess mid-sentence I had no choice..."Just hold on,okay,I'll be rigth back.Please don't go anywhere." I was almost pleading

I saw Victor getting up of the ground..."Oh no what happened?" I asked perplexed



Victor

"Your friend Alex didn't like me talking to Isabel and went all Neanderthal on me.Knocked me down." I said grimly



Kyle

I couldnt' believe my ears "HE WHAT??!!...that's so unlike him.In all the time I've known him,I've never seen him get into an argument let alone a fight.There must be some sort of explanation.I'm really sorry this happened Victor.I'll go talk to him." I said embarassed



Victor

"Don't apologize,it wasn't your fault." I said smoothly as I thought to myself...Okay you want to play rough lover-boy then rough is what I'll give you



Kyle

I was looking to make it up to him so pressed him for an acceptance of my previous invitation to the garden luncheon..."You are still coming for the lunch right?I hope this hasn't changed your mind."



Victor

"Of course I am,I wouldnt' miss it for the world.Should be very interesting.When is it?I don't think you told me last time"



Kyle

"Oh I thought I'd told you...it's tomorrow.Be here by 12.00p.m." I said relieved that he hadn't taken offence to being knocked down by one certain Earl who I was going to knock down once I saw him

I sort out my hair and head out of the closet. I smile at him. "Ok, ready" I tell him.

"Don't be silly. Everybody would want to please and love you. And anyone who isn't is a fool." I tell her.

Isabel

I blushed when Alex said that "Thank you sweetheart!But most guys would get put off by the over-bearing ex-boyfriend showing up.I just want you to know how glad I am that you decided to stick around give 'Us' a chance." I said kissing the tip of his nose

"You'd better go downstairs before someone comes up looking for you.I'll see you tomorrow afternoon.Goodnight!"

After Alex had switched off the lights and left i stayed awake a while longer going over the days events in my mind but finally my eyelids got heavier and I drifted off...I'll deal with everything tomorrow...I mumbled to myself

Alex must have had too much to drink...that's the only explanation
Why else would he behave like an ass?

I waited for him to re-appear

"Okay sweetie. Love you" I say kissing her softly.
"I'll come and check on you later ok?"
I leave the room quietly and head downstairs, I see Kyle....he's looking at me...oh this is not good...I quickly head over to refreshments to pour my self a drink..Im going to need it.

Kyle

"What the hell is wrong with you Alexander Whitman?" I asked angrily once I reached him

"I think you've had enough to drink for one night." I said taking the glass out of his hand

....Hm...he thinks Im drunk....maybe I can use this to my advantage....
"Whyyyy? What did Alex do?" I ask.

Kyle

I looked at him closely and pulled him onto my verandah..."you know exactly what I am talking about and don't try and pull the wool over my eyes.We've been friends for way to long for that to work."

"You knocked Duke Van Dyke down!!!...I can hardly believe it.What do you have to say for yourself?" I asked,waiting for him to answer I crossed my arms over my chest

"He was being a jerk!" I shout back. A few heads turned, but I don't care. I want to tell her that he was being mean to Isabel...but I don't think I should unless Isabel says I can.

I jumped back when Alex yelled..."Will you pipe down!!What the hell's gotten into you tonight?" I asked worried and I started leading us towards the garden away from the other guests
