Isabel says, already walking towards the ferris wheel. Wow, she really must be concerned about Max. So much for being annoyed with him. Okay, she probably still is but also worried.
Quickly walking after her, I get ahead of her, starting to move people gently out of the way. Yes, I swear, gently! "Sorry, if you'd excuse us. Sorry. My apologies. Excuse me."
Luckily, people move out of the way quickly so we are soon at the bottom of the wheel where the maintance crew is working. Well, they are debatting on what to do but I suppose that's working for them.
"Hey, sorry but those are our friends, brother up there, how soon can you get them down?" I ask as soon as we reach them.

Occ: Sorry I haven't been around guys but I did something to my knee the other day and was up all that night at the ER because my entire leg was spasming. I've never been in so much pain in all my life. Anyway, they put me on pain killers and muscle relaxers that knocked me out all day yesterday. I'm doing better now though! Also, wanted to let everyone know that the next few weeks are going to be crazy because we're supposed to be moving into our home at the end of the month. I won't have any kind of high speed internet because we're moving to the boonies and all I'll have is dial up. Those of you who know about that know that going from a cable modem, which is what I have now, to dial up will about do me in. I won't be able to post as often because it takes so long to load pages. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know what's going on.

Michael peers into my eyes with such an innocence that causes me to lose my breath. "Why wouldn't I? I promised to take you home and part of it is taking care of you. I care about you and that’s why I stayed." Wow, the sincerity of his words touch a part of me that I didn’t know was aching. His palm cups my face tenderly as he brings his fingers forward to caress my cheek. I’m getting in way to deep. I fear that I’ll drown in my feelings for him if I push this forward.
Not knowing what to say I lean forward and press my lips softly to his. For a kiss is an understanding two people can reach without words getting in the way. When I raise back I look into his eyes pondering what’s happening between us. Every heart beat, every stolen kiss just makes me wonder what all this means. I wasn’t looking for a lifetime with him ,but now I can’t picture the next moment without him in it. Then he shoots me this devilish smile that makes me want to do things to him. Naughty thoughts are had.
There's not enough time for that. What am I going to do? This is all happening too fast. I fear that all my resistance will never be distance enough. Tess and I follow Isabel and Alex over to the growing crowd beneath the ferris wheel and I look up. Letting out a whistle, I say, "How is it that this ride would get stuck with the one person who wouldn't take advantage of it? Evans is probably panicking up there."

I really don't know what else I can say so I just nod my head and hug him close. Then I feel the cart lurch backward and stop. Then a moment later, it starts moving forward again. I let out a breath and grin up at Max. "Looks like your prayers have been answered. Maybe we'll finally get off this thing."
He looks so relieved I feel bad for dragging him on it to begin with but he told me he was fine with it! I glance over the side of the car and down at the ground, people are getting off as we pause a couple more times. I just hope it doesn't get stuck again while they let others off. I see Alex and Isabel and Kyle and Tess and wave down at them.

I shut my eyes tightly as we begin moving towards the ground. I keep trying to breathe calmly as we stop and start as people get off. And what is keeping me sane at this minute? What mental image do I have?
Let's just say its something I'm thinking about doing to Kyle!!!
When we finally stop and I hear our barrier lift I watch as Liz gets out followed by me. I can tell I look worse for wear. I look at the guy whos controlling a harsh glare. They should really give us our money back for coming to this stupid carnival thing....
And then I see the others. Kyle, Isabel, Alex and Tess.

I walk over to them, ignoring the others. "Kyle, can we speak in private now please." I say trying not to let my anger through in my voice. If he refuses...well I'll just have to do what I'm trying to stop myself from doing RIGHT NOW.

At the look on Max's face when he sees Kyle, I know that he's really mad at him. Kyle looks confused but he's obviously picked up that Max is mad about something because he is shifting nervously from one foot to the other. Stepping between the two, I place a hand lightly on Max's chest. "Maybe we should all three talk," I suggest, trying to keep my tone light. "I think we just have some sort of misunderstanding going on and I'm sure we can fix it easily enough."
Ok, I know I'm trying to play peacemaker and it's not exactly my place but this whole carnival has turned into a bit of a nightmare. I mean it was supposed to be for charity...for kids but then the stupid ferris wheel got stuck and those that were on it are headed home already. The last thing we need is a fight drawing attention. There are reporters here and they would have a field day if there was a fight and I was there in the middle of it.

My hands are itching to sock him one, but I'm somehow managing to restrain myself. But not by a lot. "We need to talk NOW Kyle. This can't wait. So unless you want me to friggin hit you here and now in the middle of the fucking STUPID carnival with the BROKEN STUPID rides..." I take a deep breath to calm down slightly. "...You will come with me now so we can talk this out." I say finishing, still glaring at him evenly.

Max storms past Alex ,completely ignoring his question and heads straight for Kyle as though he were going to run him over. "What's bitten him?" I wonder out aloud to Alex and roll my eyes "Always had a penchant for drama, that boy." Running my fingers through my hair I breath deeply "Looks like they both are fine inspite of the screwed up ride." I nod in Kyle and Max's direction "Seems like those two are going to have it out." Walking up to Tess I take her hand and pull her back a bit "Tess, I think you should keep away from them right now. Kyle seems to think so as well." Then a little louder I address Kyle, "Just go with him Kyle. He's causing a scene."
