"Sorry Kyle,I didn't mean to be snappy.Just had a long day,that's all." I apologized
"So you spoke to him?" I asked pointing in Victor's direction

Kyle

"Yeah I did,he seems pretty nice,I even invited him to the garden lunch I've got planned but right now I just want to punch him out." I said grinding my teeth looking at him dancing with Tess

Isabel

"You invited him!" I asked a little dismayed "but you hardly know him."

Kyle

"So I'll get to know him,plus it'll be good for business...I'm going over there,he's not going to monopolise her the whole evening." I said determinedly

Isabel

"Go get her Tiger." I said chuckling
But then my thoughts turned back to what Kyle had said about inviting Victor to the lunch...Just what I need...Alex is going to freak,what a pain!

I walk over to the refreshments and quickly pour myself a whisky and down it. I start to pour a second.....

Kyle

I walked over to where Tess and Victor were dancing and cut in
"Don't be angry Tess,I didnt' mean to offend you." I said humbly

Isabel

While I had been talking to Kyle,Alex had disappeared.I looked around and saw him at the bar.
"Great!...he is freaking." I muttered

I staretd walking towards him when I felt a hand on my arm and I was pulled out onto the verandah which ran around the ball room.
"What!!?" I said surprised

Victor

I saw Isabel alone,without that whippersnapper tailing her so I jumped at my chance

"Finally,we are alone Iz." I said looking into her eyes "I've been waiting for this the whole evening."

Isabel

"Well I haven't!!" I answered coldly "this is the last thing I wanted.Just who the hell do you think you are Victor?...coming here like this,practically stalking me."
I managed to pull away form him,but stood my ground.

Victor

"I'm a man in love...I love you Iz!I never stopped loving you." I declared

I'm about to drink my second glass, when I glance around the room.
Victor's with Isabel.
He's holding her...
I lip read his words..
"I love you Iz!I never stopped loving you."
That's it. I run at him full pelt and knock him to the floor.
I know everyone's looking at me, but at this point I don't care.
"Keep away from us!" I say loudly.
I offer my hand to Isabel. "Come on, let's go"

I was shaking with silent rage when Victor told me he loved me...what right did he have to say that to me?

Then out of nowhere Alex had knocked Victor to the floor and was pulling me away from that whole scene
