"I just wanted to have a little fun before I came after you that's all. Actually, the parental's can go."

And with that he makes them leave, and locks us in.
"Let her go, you dont want her and you know it. Cant handle me on my own Kivar? Too scared of the King?" I state. "Cant handle one on one, fair and square?"

~Khivar~

I let out a laugh. "Your no King." I tell him. "I may not know much about you Max Evans but one thing I do know for sure is that you are no King. Trust me, I could take you one on one very easily. But, I mean, where's the fun in that? You'd be dead before I even put my hand up to blast you."

I turn my head towards Elizabeth, who's now backed up against the wall, looking from me to Max with a worried expression on her face. I reach out, my hand cackling with energy.

"Now this," I say, my now glowing hand outstrectched in her direction. "Will be fun to watch. Feel your body temperature rising by any chance, Elizabeth."

"Now this, Will be fun to watch. Feel your body temperature rising by any chance, Elizabeth."

I feel my blood start to boil. Whatever he's doing to me is making me choke. I can't breathe.

I hold my hand up to my throat before collapsing to the floor next to him, my hand still clutching my throat.

"It's a little trick of mine." I hear Khivar say. "Causes your internal organs to burn. With this kind of heat in your body your bound to last a couple more minutes. Not a cool way to die though, hurts like hell."

"Your no King. I may not know about you Max Evans but one thing I do know for sure is that your no King. Trust me, I could take you one on one very easily. But, I mean, where's the fun in that? You'd be dead before I even put my hand up to blast you."

And with that he turns to Liz. Oh God no...
I watch in horror as his hand glows.

"Now this, Will be fun to watch. Feel your body temperature rising by any chance, Elizabeth."

I watch her collapse her hand to her throat.
"NO!"

I blast him hard against a cupboard. "DONT TOUCH HER!" I yell. The cupboard smashes on top of him. I reach down to Liz and put my arm around her. "Come on Liz, its going to be ok. You cant leave me now Liz, I need you. I love you"

~Liz~

"DONT TOUCH HER!"

I hear Max yell out angrily. I then hear something smashing but I'm to weak to open my eye's and see what the hell is going on.

All of a sudden I feel Max's arm slip around me. "Come on Liz, its going to be ok. You cant leave me now Liz, I need you. I love you"

I slowly open my eye's and start coughing. The pain is still seering through my body even though Khivar's grip on me is gone.

"Okay, that wasn't fun," I say angrily as I manage to sit up slowly, I turn weakly to face Khivar who is now slowly getting up from the floor with barely a scratch on him.

What are we going to do now?

~Khivar~

"DONT TOUCH HER!"

Max yells out right before I'm blasted backwards smack into the cupboards, the shelves fall on me and I let out a loud grunt.

""Come on Liz, its going to be ok. You cant leave me now Liz, I need you. I love you"

I hear him telling Elizabeth. With a grunt, I push the shelves off of my body and manage to stand up.

"Okay, that wasn't fun," I hear Elizabeth say as she sits up from the floor, coughing.

"What are you going to do?" I ask with a small laugh. "Kick me? Face it, neither of you can hurt me."

I hold my hand up to my face. "This?" I say, pointing at the blood that's now trickling from my lip. I wave my hand across my face, making the blood and bruises disappear instantly.

I smile widely when I heard Elizabeth utter a small gasp.

"Exactly," I say. "You can't hurt me, let alone kill me. But I can hurt you, and I can kill you."

I raise my hand and blast Max backwards, making him go crashing into the wall behind him.

"Exactly, You can't hurt me, let alone kill me. But I can hurt you, and I can kill you."

And with that he blasts me against the wall again. It certainly takes me by surprise and it takes a second for me to be able to stand again.

"What is it you want Khivar? Why come after me now? Why cant you just FUCK OFF!" I yell before blasting him hard again against the back wall.

"What is it you want Khivar? Why come after me now? Why cant you just FUCK OFF!"

He blasts me once more, making me hit the wall behind ,which, barely does anything to me.

"Because I'm bored," I mutter as I stand up. "And because I enjoy seeing you squirm."

~Liz~

Okay, I'm just getting more and more pissed off by the second. And I feel so weak and pathetic, because there's nothing I can do. My power's aren't strong enough. My power's are only, like, a tenth of Max's power's. There's nothing I can do except to wait around and wait for him to do something.

~Khivar~

I'm about to use my power's again when I hear the distant sirens of the police cars. Great, I don't want to have to deal with them too. So I take a small step back and glance at Nicholas,

"Come on, we're going." I order. I shoot Max Evans a look, "We'll be back later."

I turn on my heels and exit the Crashdown through the back door. "This isn't over." I mutter before disapperaing out the door.

And then I hear sirens. And is it me...or I do detect a funny look from Khivar?

"Come on, we're going. We'll be back later." he orders Nicholas before giving me a look.

"This isn't over." he mutters before leaving.
I immediately go over to Liz. "Are you ok?" I ask. "How do you feel?"

And then it dawns on me. I healed her Dad....

"Liz...I healed your Dad and he saw...." I said carefully. Oh God what else can happen today!

Occ~ Mel, you can either tell the truth or think up a lie on this one, it's up to you.

~Liz~

"Are you ok?How do you feel?"

Max asks as soon as Khivar is gone. The sirens are getting closer and closer by the second.

"Liz...I healed your Dad and he saw...."

"It's okay," I say, trying to ressure him. "We just need to...no wait, running is just going to make thing's worst. I need to go out there and talk to my dad before the police get's here."

I turn around and push open the double doors. Immediately I feel my parent's arms go around me.

"Thank God your okay!" My mom exclaims, hugging me like there's no tommorow.

"We we're so worried!" My dad continues. "We tried to open the door but- who the hell was he? What was he? And, Max, how did you do that? I was hurt and you...healed me or something."

I turn to my, a worried expression on my face.

I swallow hard. I think its only fair they know the truth. Especially since Mr Parker may get powers now...

"Mr and Mrs Parker" I say quietly, "You may want to sit down...can we go in the back room?"

They nodd and lead us back in again. The place is a mess, but they go and sit on the couch.

"Mr and Mrs Parker, what Im about to say now is going to come as a bit of shock, but I really need you to keep this a secret" I say calmly.

I look at them. "Isabel, Michael are not from around here." I swallow. "We're aliens. The man who attacked you is also an alien... a bad alien who wants to kill us and by the looks of it Liz, Maria and Kyle too."

They don't reply. "I have the power to heal. Thats how I saved you. Mr and Mrs Parker, we're not bad people...we're just like everyone else. But people would hurt us if they find out. Please don't tell anyone...we just want to survive"

~Liz~

I guide my parents to the back room and the two sit on the couch.

"Isabel, Michael are not from around here. We're aliens. The man who attacked you is also an alien... a bad alien who wants to kill us and by the looks of it Liz, Maria and Kyle too. I have the power to heal. Thats how I saved you. Mr and Mrs Parker, we're not bad people...we're just like everyone else. But people would hurt us if they find out. Please don't tell anyone...we just want to survive"

I look at my parent's, shock clearly registered on their faces. Oh God, what are they going to think? What are they going to say or do?

"But...that's impossible." My mom says finally. "I mean, aliens? Your from... another planet? How? I mean, this is just..."

"Mom," I say, looking at her. "Do you remember all those years ago, eight years ago to be exact, there was that shooting incident here at the Crashdown? I hadn't actually spilled ketchup on myself. I had been shot. But Max healed me with his power's. He save my life. If he hadn't done that, let's just say I wouldn't really be around today if it hadn't been for him." I pause. "You have to keep this secret to yourself, you can't tell anybody. Because if you do tell those cops that are coming right now, Max, Isabel, and Michael are screwed. We all are, and that includes Max's son. Mom, he's only 7, he doesn't know anything. You guy's can't do this to him."

I watch anxiously as my parent's give each other a look. God, the cops are getting closer and closer...

"We're not going to say anything." My dad says finally. "But when all this is over, we want a huge explanation. We want to know everything."
