Isabel

"I was probably thinking about you." he states matter-of-factly and I can't say that I am relieved, after all I wouldn't want him thinking about other things when he is kissing me

"I don't exactly know what the whole alien powers thing entails, you know?"
"I know...and if you let me,I would love to learn about it with you." I say softly

"I know...and if you let me,I would love to learn about it with you." Isabel says smiling. I grin back at her.

"That means a lot to me Iz," I say happily, brushing another strand of hair behind her ear. "Because it's kind of weird trying to figure it out on my own, since Michael's got his hands full with Liz."

Isabel

I let one hand of mine smooth his hair back as I listen to him, studying his features.Wondering what hand of destiny sent him to this planet and in to my life.I am a lucky girl and I am going to hold on to him for as long as I can.

"I'm always going to be here for you...I hope you know that.I know Michael and Liz probably have this whole sibling bond between them but I want you to know that I am going to be here for you,no matter who you are or where you're from."

Isabel again runs her hand through my hair, and I smile at her words. "I'm always going to be here for you...I hope you know that.I know Michael and Liz probably have this whole sibling bond between them but I want you to know that I am going to be here for you,no matter who you are or where you're from."

"Thanks Isabel. I believe you, and it makes me happy," I tell her quietly, kissing her on her cheek in gratitude.

"Well, I suppose I should have said guitars. I've got an acoustic Yamaha, and a Fender electric bass guitar," He gestures proudly ,and I have to admit I'm a little impressed. He knows his equipment. Which could come in handy later  "They're both amazing," He admonishes while indicating to the upstairs. "Come on, they're in my room." He stops at the base of the stairs waiting for me to catch up so I pick up the pace. Taking into account the family pictures and certificates fo achievements. Wow, this is a really nice place.

Hank was never proud of anything I've ever done. Wait, I take that back. He did brag to his buddy one time that I could fix a killer Tom Collins. I guess that's not exactly the things dreams are made of. I follow him up to his room and once we are inside I get a good look on how the other half lives. Nice. He seens simple and basic enough. My favorite part is the posters on the wall of some of my favorite bands. "I love these guys." I point to the one over his bed.

Maria pauses for another moment, to look at some family pictures, then follows me upstairs, looking around my room at all the posters. I do a quick scan to make sure nothing gross is hanging around, like underwear or dirty socks, and once I'm satisfied, I turn back to her.

"I love these guys." She says, pointing at the poster on my bed. Ah. Only my favorite band of all time. I mean, I love all sorts of music, but Metallica, now that's classic.

"Yeah, I have pretty much every Metallica record ever," I tell her smiling and pointing to my ever burgeoning CD collection. "I buy a ton of CD's, and never have money for anything else."

"Yeah, I have pretty much every Metallica record ever," He reveals as he shows m his rather abundant assortment of cd's. Wow, that's quite a few. I could never dream to owning as many. Course now that I'm on my own making I can start buying more personal items. Before I could only own what I could carry in a bag. You never know when you'll need to bolt, but things are different now. I can actually start to have a life ,or whatever passes for one these days.

"I buy a ton of CD's, and never have money for anything else." I grin widely as I pace the room like a kid a candy store. I'm desperately attempting to curb the urge to say wow. That would look lame on my part. I am however rather impressed by his set up. "Nothing Else Matters is probably my favorite song from them. The lyrics are just so honest and raw ,and the melody... It's haunting." I reveal thrilled to be able to talk music with someone else who appreciates it.

"Nothing Else Matters is probably my favorite song from them. The lyrics are just so honest and raw ,and the melody... It's haunting." Maria says, pacing around my room like she's in a record store. I like my room to have that effect on people.

"That's a great. I like Sad But True...have you ever heard it?" I ask, naming one of my favorite songs of all time. Not many people have, well, the only ones I know are Alex and Liz, because I played it for them so many times. I used to put the CD on loop.

"Wanna pick a CD? You can put one on if you want," I tell her, going to my closet to pull out my guitars.

"That's a great. I like Sad But True...have you ever heard it?" He questions and my eyes light up in recognition. That's one of my absolute favorites! "Wanna pick a CD? You can put one on if you want," He replies I decide to take him up on his offer. Putting in the Black Album I nod my head to the urgent beat of the drum on 'Enter Sandman' He begins to fiddle with his guitar ,and I stroll over to him to get a closer look. "Wow, she's a beauty." I compliment running my fingers over the fine craftmenship.

"After my foster mom, Karen passed away I used to take her guitar out and practice with it." Well, I did until that night Hank came home drunk found me with it and beat the hell out of me with it. He destoyed the one thing his wife really loved in this world. "She was really nice to me." I reveal thinking about the polite quiet woman.

Michael

Maria picks an amazing album and puts it on, and I smile as Metallica fills the room. This girl is unreal. There's no way someone so perfect could live in Roswell. Not even if she was an alien, because, believe me, I know what that's like.

"Wow, she's a beauty." She says quietly, running her hands over my acoustic. "After my foster mom, Karen passed away I used to take her guitar out and practice with it. She was really nice to me." I watch her face change, and there's a slight happiness on it, even if it's marred by sadness. She must have liked her foster mom.

"You want to play it?" I ask, holding it out. Now, usually, I wouldn't let someone else touch my guitars, but I trust Maria.
