The music stops and I scramble for a chair with the rest of the herd. No a lot of people know this about me ,but I have quite a competitive nature. Sure I'm as easy going as the next chick but when it comes down to it I like to win. It just so happens that the Johnny Depp look alike lands in my lap. That was soo on purpose. Flashing me a sexy smirk he leans forward and... drools all over me. Gross. So the lesson for today is ladies even though their gorgeous that doesn't mean they'll be good kissers.
I subdue the urge to wipe off my chin. Well, at least not when he's looking. Ewww. Mr. Disappointment himself whispers in my ear something about a hotel room and the best ride of my life. I just politely smile and reply, "Thanks but I'll have to pass." That wasn't quite the answer he was looking for and seems a bit aggravated. "I don't think you know who your speaking to." Grabbing my arms harshly he attempts to pull me out of line. I surprise him by remaining firm in place. Delucas never back down.
"I think you misundrstood me." I growl through gritted teeth. "I'm simply not interested. Now take your hands off me." He doesn't look convinced. What does this guy need a written invitation. "Oh I see." He states mockingly. Obviously he doesn't. "Your playing hard to get. I dig that. Why don't we go..." Shaking my head I'm just about to give 'Won't take no for an answer' boy a reason for a trip to the dentist when his gaze narrows behind me. What?

Alex seems not to notice my embarrassment or he did but decided to ignore it and carries on much to my relief,"The band geeks are the cooler ones for sure. They got groupies and all. Or so I've been told, I never met groupies but ... I'd like to think that they exist."

I grin when she kisses me on the cheek. "I don't know about the singing, my voice really isn't good, I'd probably scare you off if I start singing for you."

"Yeah, a bit." I say, thinking back. "At least I played for Melanie and Leanna. Or well, I played music because of them, even tried to write song - my best one was 'Love Kills'." I grin as Tess hops into my lap. Now that's what I'm talking about! She leans closer for a kiss and I happily lean in and fuse my lips to hers. Mmm. Is that raspberry lip gloss? I let my tongue dart out to her lips, hoping she'll let me see if she tastes as good as that lip gloss.

I frown. What in the hell is he doing? God, player doesn't mean that you have to make the girl that's interested feel like dirt...not that he does that to me but if I was anyone else, it might have hurt to see him enjoy kissing someone else right after flirting with me and I had admitted to being attracted to him. I stand up and look at all the people who are suddenly out and it turns out that there must have been a lot of people willing to give up winning just for one kiss. There are only a few people left. And none of them are any of my close friends. Oh well. Maybe we should get started on the next game with a group while leaving the others to finish the musical chairs.
"I think we can safely move on to the next game with just a few of us and leave the rest to finish this. What do you say? Are you up for it?" I ask Max, trying to take the attention away from his smug face. Then I look over and see Michael and Maria in some kind of altercation with some guy who I think I once met at a party at another friend's house.
