"She doesn't need to. She showed up with her boyfriend Is. Ok, so I'm not sure if there still together or not after what the jerk did, but either way she moved on. She's happy. She never gave me a second glance. And I don't blame her. She moved on and thats great. Good for her. But I can't stand there and watch. How could she ever like me again. Answer being, she can't" I state.

I look around angrily for Kyle. "KYLE!" I yell trying to let out some frustration.

"Get out of here. Come on, Nath. He wants me out of here. I mean I completely left him seven years ago with not so much as a goodbye. He's moved on with his life, he doesn't feel that way about me anymore."

"Really." I state simply. "Want to explain what the guy meant when he said "Cant stop thinking about you"" I say crossing my arms and stopping to look at her. "Come on Liz, the guy clearly hasn't moved on....infact I bet he never even thought he did. Bet ya he hasn't even had a girlfriend since you" I add. "You know I'm right"

"Really. Want to explain what the guy meant when he said "Cant stop thinking about you" Come on Liz, the guy clearly hasn't moved on....infact I bet he never even thought he did. Bet ya he hasn't even had a girlfriend since you. You know I'm right"

"I'm sure he's had a couple of girlfriend's." I tell him lamely, I'm not exactly sure what to answer him at this point. "And I mean, even if what you just said was true...it's not like we can just start over again. There are too many...unresolved issues to deal with. It's too complicated." I pause, looking down the street. "Now move your butt we need to find Kyle."

I stop and look at her. "Things that arent my fault? Isabel I understand your trying to make me feel better but telling me untruths is not gonna help. I screwed up. I slept with Tess. "He'll turn up" I say quickly before getting back to the Max subject, "I gather that with Max, but the question is Liz....are you gonna let your past stand in the way? Are you gonna be straight with him, are you gonna let him go....or are you going to just stay here...stuck"

"I don't know," I say, shaking my head. "I just don't know. I- I still think I love him. I don't think I even can let him go. And I don't want to stay here "Stuck" as you said." I let out a small sighed as we continued down the streets of Roswell. "What about you and Serena, huh? I saw that look in your eye's before when you met us at the Crashdown. So what's going on?"

"For God's sake's Max, Liz oushed you away and straight into Tess's arm's. If she wouldn't of pushed you away, you never in a million year's would of slept with Tess unless she mindwarped you into doing so. "Yeah, and why was that....oh right because of my destiny. Said destiny that 1st time resulted in all our deaths and the new version where Kivars gonna kill us again after making our lives more miserable than before. Fantastic" I mutter.

I sigh. "Look Is, the fact is she did what she did for good reasons. I don't know if I ever had reasons let alone good ones. I just did what I was told, and look where its got us. Everything is my fault. I don't know how to be...how to be Max anymore. I feel so....lost"

"You don't bring death to anybody Max, I don't know why your saying that." I tell him, "Alex's death wasn't anybody's fault but Tess's. And second of all, If we take care of Khivar once and for all, We won't have anything to worry about anymore. We'll finally be able to live normal lives. You won't have to be woried about hurting her."

I sigh as I keep looking for Kyle. "Liz deserves the best."

"We can have normal lives if we take care of Nicholas and Khivar," I tell him. He's being really stubborn right now and I'm not even sure that there's anything I can do to make him change his mind. I paused, unsure of what to tell him next.

"You know, ever since Liz left, you've been a completely different guy." I say, swallowing hard before continuing. Please don't let him get really angry after I'm done my little speech. "And I'm not the only one who's noticed, trust me. Our parent's have noticed, Michael, Maria and Kyle. Your definitely not the same person when your not with Liz. Your more distant, colder, and way more bossier." I paused again, "And I know I'm right because, Liz came back from L.A only yesterday and you're already acting like the brother I knew and want again. Your such a good guy, Max, and you don't even realise it. Your an amazing and caring father and you're alway's trying to make the right decision about thing's. But, I mean, you just gotta try let the past go and start looking towards the future. Let go of all this alien crap, don't you want a normal life? Don't you want your son to have a mother? You can have all that, Max, and you will, only you just gotta try and let go of the past and stop blaming yourself for everything that's happened to us and I know you can."
