~Liz~

We finish eating in silence. Once we're done I can't help but let out a small yawn. The bed I had slept in the night before had just about been the worst bed I'd ever slept in.

"We better get out of here and head back to Roswell." I say, "My parent's are going to kill me. I've barely said a word to them since I got back and then I just took off without telling them where I was going."

Hm....and then silence. When we've finished, Liz says
"We better get out of here and head back to Roswell. My parent's are going to kill me. I've barely said a word to them since I got back and then I just took off without telling them where I was going."
I nodd, and notice she looks tired. "Yeah. You know you and Kyle can sleep while Im driving if you want" I tell her. "Im ok" I tell her as I get out money an pay for our meal.

I watch as he takes out some money to pay for dinner, but I beat him to it. I quckly snatch a twenty dollar bill from my purse and drop it on the the table.

"You paid for breakfast this morning remember?" I tell him. "It's only fair." I let out another small yawn. "And I'll take you up for that sleeping proposal because I'm falling asleep here."

She yawns, and I can't help but think how soft her lips look. How I once kissed those lips.
"And I'll take you up for that sleeping proposal because I'm falling asleep here."

I smile at her, thankful she doesn't know that I only got about three hours sleep last night. Not because of the uncomfortable beds...but because Liz was in the next room.

I mean....its not like Ive even dated a girl since Tess. There was the one time Isabel set me up on a blind date...you can imagine how awful that was!

I lead them out to the car and make sure Im facing the other way when I yawn. Maybe on the rest of the journey I can stop thinking about her for more than 5 minutes. I'm in a crisis at the moment! I need to start concentrating on that not her. I jump in the jeep. "Lets go"

We climb inside the jeep, I let Kyle go in first and then take a seat up front.

"Let's go," Max says as he starts the engine and we take off. I try to stay awake, but I soon find out that I can't. My eyelids are getting heavier and heavier by the second and the next thing I know I'm waking up about an hour later. My neck is killing me once more because of the position I had been sleeping in.

I let out a small groan as my eye's open and the light temperarily blinds me from doing anything. After a few seconds later my eye's finally start adjusting to the light and I attempt to sit up a little straighter. I turn my head sideway's to find myself staring straight at Max.

"Where are we?" I ask him sleepily. I look ouside. It seems as though we've finally made it back to Roswell.

And the award for the most tired, bored and obsessed with Liz goes to....me! What a surprise!
I swear...Im so tempted to stop the jeep and kiss her. But I can't. Firstly, she doesn't like me like that, and secondly I can't put her in danger, and lastly...she knows all this is my fault.
"Where are we?"
I look over startled as I see that Liz is awake. "Um.."
I've been driving on autopilot, my mind on Liz and Liz alone. I look around and spot the Roswell sign. "We're in..." I pass the sign. "Roswell now" I state. "You sleep well?"

"My head," I say as I groan. "Hurts. I have a damned headache." I turn my head and glance outside. Yup, sure enough we're back in Roswell. "Where do we go now? Crashdown?"

I shrug. "I guess so" I say driving towards the Crashdown. Its only a matter of minutes before I park the car outside. I mean...Roswell isn't really that big. I look at my lap and say "Do want me to try something for your headache. I don't know if I can heal it since there won't be anything to heal, but I can try and get rid of the pain." I say.

I look up at him and smile. "That's sweet of you to offer," I say, putting on my sweetest smile. "But, it's okay. I'll just get a couple of aspirins and the pain will go away in no time."

"That's sweet of you to offer. But, it's okay. I'll just get a couple of aspirins and the pain will go away in no time." she says, and unfortunitely for me I make the mistake of looking up to see her giving me that smile that makes my stomach flip.
"If your sure" I mutter as I look down again so she doesn't see Im blushing. God how could I ever let her go...believe she slept with Kyle...who I'm currently let stay in this car when he knew all this time that it was all a sharade.

"So...um....we going in?" I ask quietly.
