Chapter 10
"Stop that." Liz giggled as Lucas kissed her neck. "You're tickling me, Luke. Stop!" She giggled some more but didn't try to push him away.
"Yea please Luke. Stop. I can't take any more of this. It's creeping me out." Nathan said as he turned his head from the couple.
It had been a crazy 3 weeks. After Liz and Lucas' first real 'date', they have been inseperable which just made things both good and bad. Good because now Liz could actually tell Haley about what they were doing but bad because Brooke has made it her job to try and ruin both Liz and Lucas' life.
First it had been the rumors that Lucas was only using Liz for her money but then it went around that if he was then he would have also used Brooke and she didn't like that. Then it was that Liz was a total slut and was only doing Lucas because she REALLY liked basketball players. That of course got Lucas suspend for a week and Liz detention because of numerous fights they were having with other students. The next thing was an attack. Brooke and the other cheerleaders wreaked Liz's car writing 'whore', 'slut' and back-stabbing bitch' all over it. Keith had to tow it but Liz paid him what ever she had to to get it fixed. But through it all, two things stuck. 1) Liz and Lucas were in love & 2) they knew who their true friends were.
That's where Haley and Nathan came in. When she wasn't working or with Lucas and/or Karen, Liz was with Haley or Nathan. While Liz and Haley became the bestest of friends, Liz and Nathan became almost like brother and sister. When he needed help with rent, Liz was there or when his mom or dad did something and Haley was with Lucas or at work, Liz was there for him to talk to. They had actually gotten so close that Nathan moved in with Liz so that he could save money and she had someone to be there if Brooke and her gitty goonies ever tried to get Liz at home.
"Can't. She just tastes so good." Lucas said, never taking his lips from Liz's neck.
"So not something I needed to hear." Haley grumbled from the other side of Nathan. She had been a sleep or so they thought.
"Then close your ears." Lucas joked.
"We are now landing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We hope you had a great in flight time." The Captain told them all.
"Now you gotta stop." Liz smiled as she gently pushed Lucas away.
"Thank god." Nathan joked.

"What do you think she looks like?" Nancy Parker asked her husband.
"The same as she did when she left 3 months ago." Jeff Parker answered, even though he wanted to know the same thing.
Liz had told them that she had changed alittle and not to worry but when you tell your parents that, you make them worry.
"Well she did say that she was going for a new look." Nancy gruffed as she looked everywhere for her baby.
"Yeah but a new look to Liz is like cutting the tips from her hair." Jeff told his wife. "We just gotta-."
"Look!" Nancy yelled pointing. "There she is."
Jeff followed his wife's finger and saw a young woman who looked somewhat like Liz. Only her hair was short and brighter and her clothes. Well lets just say that Liz would never-.
"Mom! Dad!" Liz said as she hugged them both. "Look at you guys. What happened? I was only gone for 3 months. Why take away the gray?" She joked.
"Ha ha. Real funny sweetheart but I couldn't stay a gray when you told me that you were bringing company." Nancy smiled at the two boys behind Liz.
"Yeah." Liz turned to her friends. "Speaking of which. Mom, dad. These are my friends, Nathan and Haley."
"So nice to meet you." Nancy said shaking both of their hands. Then she turned to Lucas. "And you must be...."
"Lucas Scott." Lucas said filling in the blanks. "I'm Liz's boyfriend."

The drive had been a bit noisy. Liz's mom wanted Haley to tell her everything that's been happening in Tree Hill and everytimg, Haley said something, Liz stopped her and vise versa. The 3 guys stood quiet the whole way.
"Good to be home, right sweetheart?" Nancy asked as Jeff parked in the back.
"Yep." Liz said, smiling at Haley. They had already planned what they were going to do and the guy, well, the guys would just tag along until they got bored.
"Your friends have been asking about you like crazy." Nancy suddenly said. "I mean all the time. Max, Michael, and Isabel never stop."
"What about Alex? Did he come back from Sweden, yet?" Liz asked not noticing the look Nathan and Lucas shared after hearing about Max asking for Liz. They all got out of the car before Nancy could answer and started walking towards the front of the cafe. "Mom? Well, did he?"
"I believe he did." Nancy said as she opened the door to the Crashdown. The place was normal except for a sign that said 'Welcome Home, Liz & friends'.
"SURPRISE!!" Alex and Kyle said running up to her and hugging the life out of her.
"What the-? Why did you-? But I thought-?"
"Breath, Liz. Just breath." Haley joked. Liz smirked at her but then turned to her buddies.
"Hey guys." Liz hugged them both one more time then turned to her new friends. "Guys this is Haley, Nathan and Lucas. My boyfriend."
Both Alex and Kyle smiled and took turns at saying high both of them forgetting that the pod squad and Maria were sitting at their usual table.
"So what's been up, guys? What's been happening since I've been gone." Liz asked after a while.
"God Liz, obsessed much?" Haley asked.
"That is it. No more 'girly time' for you if you keep making fun of me." Liz joked.
"Oh, don't do that. I don't think I'd ever live with out my 'Lizzie' time." Haley breathed in a dramatic tone.
"Haha." Liz laughed as she turned to Alex. "So what's been up?"
"Nothing really. Just came back but we can talk about that later." Alex said still smiling. Liz was really smiling and having a good time. He was happy she was finally herself again. "Why don't you guys go upstairs and get you all unpacked? Kyle and I can wait a half-an-hour or so."
"Not a problem." Liz and Haley said at the same time.
"Yeah, thanks man." Nathan finally said. "These bags are killing me."
"Poor baby." Liz teased. Then she and Haley started walking to the back.
"This place is so cool." They all heard Haley say.
"Oh no." Lucas said. "There they go." Nathan nodded.
"What?" Kyle asked. "What's up with them?"
"Oh it's nothing, just that when Liz and Haley are together they're kind of...." Lucas looked at Nathan. "Like Thelma and Louise, right?" He asked.
"No more like pains in asses." Nathan told them, making them laugh.
"You gotta be kidding me?" Alex asked.
"Nope." He said following after his 'sister' and girlfriend. "We're for real."
"No way." Kyle said.
"Totally true. And now poor Roswell will get to feel their rath." Lucas said smiling.
"Lucas!" Liz yelled.
"The siren calls to me." He groaned. Then he turned to the guys. "Sorry, gotta go." And he was gone.
"Now that was different." Alex and Kyle said at the same time.

Chapter 11
Had they really just heard what they think they heard? The Pod Squad sat shocked. They had all heard that Liz had changed and that she wasn't the same Liz Parker who left but they didn't think to this extent.
When she had walked in, no one recongized her. Her hair was short, redder. Her clothes more revealing and her face, glowing. It was like someone else took over her body and made her into the cafe free person who had just been in the cafe.
"Did that just happen?" Max asked, not really talking to anyone.
"I think it did." Tess told him, niether smiling nor frowning and it had something to do with Liz and the way she looked. Happiness just radiated off of her. She was simply glowing and Tess didn't know if she was happy or mad about that.
"What?" Maria asked, trying not to laugh. The guys had told her that Liz was coming today and told her what time. So of course, Maria made it her job to try and do everything in her power to get the pod squad NOT to go to the cafe but it was as if Max could read her mind because he wanted to be there. Well, he got what he deserved. They all would of course.
"Didn't you see Liz?" Max questioned.
"Yeah, and?"
"And! Maria, she was another guy." He snapped.
"What are you talking about? All I saw was Liz and her new friends acting like friends are suppose to act. It's actually really nice to see Liz smiling like that. She looks normal." Then Maria looked away and whispered. "For once."
"What was that?" Isabel snapped.
"Nothing." Maria turned back to the group. "Well, gotta go. Mom wants to see me before she leaves for...where ever she's going for the weekend."
"But it's Christmas next week?" Isabel said, her voice getting loud for no reason.
"Yeah and we kind of need money to survive."
"Maria, she didn't mean it that way." Max told her wanting to fix this so they could get on to other things like Liz and those guys she brought home with her.
"Yeah whatever. I gotta go." Then she was gone.
"What was that about?" Tess asked Michael.
"No clue."
"Maybe if you got her a great gift, she won't jump down my throat next time." Isabel snapped, but then she was up. "Well, this was nice but I have a millon things to do. Sorry." And she was gone.
"Me too." Michael said. "Gotta work." Then he was gone.
"Well I guess it's just you and-."
"Hey Alex, what are you guys doing tonight?" Liz asked as she walked into the cafe with the blond girl from before behind her.
"Nothing really, why?" Alex asked as he turned to her. Max watched them carefully as Tess rambled about something.
"Cause we so wanna do something that has nothing to do with 'unpacking'." Liz told him and Max saw the girl smile.
"Yeah cause the guys are getting restless and when that happens, well, lets just say that Liz and I have a hard time being 'seen'." She said making air quotes and Alex laugh.
"No problem." Then he turned to Kyle who was flirting with some girl in a short skirt. "Kyle, what are you doing tonight?"
"Nothing." He turned away from the girl without even saying bye. She of course scoffed and walked away but Max knew that she'd be back later.
Kyle had gone back into his 'playa-playa' role and was making girls fall for him left and right. It was getting really annoying since he thought that Kyle and Liz were suppose to be together. Now he knew the truth.
"Great." Then the blond walked in.
"So what are we doing?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around Liz's waist. Suddenly Max's blood ran hot.
"Max. MAx. Max! Are you even listening to me?" Tess almost yelled. She was talking about what they should do tonight and he was probably daydreaming or-. Tess looked over and saw Liz and that guy from before. Oh so that's what he's looking at.
"Tess, not now. I gotta...." Max turned away from the site of Liz leaning into the guy and drawing warmth from him. "I gotta go. Bye." Then he was gone.
"Damn it." Tess snapped. "I got left with the bill again."

Liz and Lucas laid in her bed just loving the feel of their bodies together. They had a couple of hours before they had to meet up with Alex and Kyle so Nathan and Haley were sleeping it off while they just listened to each other breath.
"So am I going to meet him?" Lucas asked out of no where. Liz looked up at him.
"Meet who?"
"Him. Max." Liz looked shocked.
"I don't know."
"What do you mean 'you don't know'? I thought he lives here in town and comes to the cafe all the time?" Lucas said looking into her eyes. They had been talking about the possibility of crashing into Max but it didn't happen today. Thank god he wasn't in the cafe, Liz thought to herself.
"I mean I don't know. I mean yeah, he lives in town and comes here alot but maybe Alex and Kyle did something or his sister has him busy. She does that this time of year." Liz said giggling. "They call her the Christmas Naxi." That made Lucas laugh.
"They do?" Liz nodded. "Why?"
"Cause she wants everything to be perfect, just like her I guess."
"Well then," Lucas began, with his laughter dying out. "I hope he stays busy until we leave."
"Me too." Liz said as she snuggled more into Lucas, niether seeing the figure outside, in the shadows, watching them. And he was pissed off.

Chapter 12
Maria stormed into her house and slammed the door behind her.
"Sweetheart, is that you?" Her mom asked.
"Yeah mom." Maria sat on one of the nearest chairs and waited for her mom to come out of her room.
"What's wrong?" Amy asked as she entered the kitchen.
"Nothing, just, well Liz came home today and Max and them were acting all weird. Then when I told them that I had to leave, Isabel said something about you leaving even though Christmas is next week."
"But you know why I'm leaving."
"Yeah, I do but she's right. Every year, you leave and I end up spending Christmas with Parkers but this year is different. Yeah me and Liz talk alittle but not like we use to and Alex'll be with his family."
"What about Michael and them?"
"Mom, I don't even think Michael'll buy a tree let alone gifts and the others, well I don't feel as close to them as I use to. Plus, I really don't like Tess so I won't be trying to spend anytime with her." Maria scoffed.
"Well then, why don't you come with me?"

"So where should we go first?" Haley asked Liz as they both walked into the mall.
"Anywhere that the guys won't think to look for us when they get here." Liz giggled as she and Haley raced to a lingerie store.
Nathan and Lucas decided to go to the courts with Alex and Kyle while the girls settled on going to the mall. Of course they all agreed to meet up at the mall but the girls wanted to have a little fun and the only way to do that was to buy sexy clothes to mess with the guys. They had gotten the idea from Skills the day before they left and now they were going to put his plan into motion.
"Oh wow, Lucas'll love you in this." Haley said as she held up a red laci cami and boy short set.
"Wow. I'd love me in that." Liz joked. "But sadly, my parents are in town so no boom, boom while their in the house."
"What about when they're NOT in the house? Would you be able to stop yourself then?" Haley saw Liz blush. "I knew it."
"Well, what about you and Nathan? Can you keep your hands off of him?" Liz asked as she looked at this green corset that pushed everything up.
"As a matter of fact, yes, I can. I don't need a fix every other day like someone I know." She smiled as she picked up a simple satin teddy. It wasn't trashy but it was sexy.
"No, no." Liz said as she walked up behind Haley.
"What?"
"No more tan. Put some color into your life, girl. Trust me. It's fun seeing his face when you where something with color. His eyes just POP." Liz said as she used her hands to prove her point.
"But what color looks good on me other than tan?" Haley asked as she put the teddy down.
"Well, lets go check." Liz started taking every color that wasn't a light. That was all Haley had.
"Woah, not red. That's too..."
"Sexy?"
"Not the word I was going for but yeah."
"Well that's what we're going for." Liz said as she pushed Haley into the dressing room with all the clothes Liz had grabbed.
"I can't believe you're making me do this."
"Well believe it. Now are you done with the first one?" Liz asked as she looked at her nails.
"Not yet.
"Well come on before the guys come looking for us."

"So what do you think the girls are doing right now?" Nathan asked as he threw the basketball. It went into the net like nothing.
"Knowing both Haley and Liz like I do, I bet their either just shopping or planning something very bad." Lucas said as he threw the basketball into the hoop.
"Are you two on a basketball team or something, cause you're just throwing the balls and they're going in like nothing." Alex asked as he sat on a bench.
He wasn't one for sports so he decided to just take the guys to the courts while he wrote a new song for his band. Kyle had came too but there were these girls that he just had to talk to. He was a sexed up dog and it was getting funnier everytime Alex was hanging with him.
"Yeah, actually we are." Lucas told him as Nathan took another shot. "Hey, what are you doing?"
"Just writing a song for my band." Alex said never looking up from his paper.
"Really? I didn't know that you wrote your own songs. I mean Liz told me that you were in a band but I just assumed that you were a cover band." Lucas said as he walked to Alex.
"Well we were," Alex started but then stopped when he saw Max and Michael walking to them.
"You were what?" Nathan asked as he took another shot.
"He was a good friend." Michael said. Nathan turned to him.
"And you are?"
"Here to play, so why don't you leave since you're not playing a real game."
"Wow, Michael. Bossy much?" Alex snapped.
"Michael?" Lucas and Nathan said at the same time.
"Yeah?"
"Are you Max?" Lucas asked the brunette next to Michael.
"Yeah." Then Nathan started laughing. "What?"
"And you thought that we wouldn't bump into them in this small town?"
"Not now Nathan." Lucas said as he stood up. "Look, my friends and I were here first. There are other hoops and courts over there."
"Yeah but we always play at this one." Michael snapped.
"And that means what?" Nathan said coming up behind Lucas.
"That means that you either leave on your own or we do it for you." Michael said getting pissed off.
"Guys." Alex yelled but he knew none of them heard him.
"How about we play you for it?" Nathan said.
"Yeah. The winner stays and the losers walk." Lucas added as he looked from Michael to Max. This guy wanted Liz and he knew it. That's why he was here.
Liz had told him that Max was very calm but when he felt like something wasn't going to go his way then he either fought for it or let it go. With Liz, Lucas knew that this Max guy wouldn't just walk away. She was something special and they both wanted her.
"Deal." Max said as he reached out to shake Lucas' hand.

"Here to play, so why don't you leave since you're not playing a real game."
"Wow, Michael. Bossy much?" Alex snapped.
"Michael?" Lucas and Nathan said at the same time.
"Yeah?"
"Are you Max?" Lucas asked the brunette next to Michael.
"Yeah." Then Nathan started laughing. "What?"
"And you thought that we wouldn't bump into them in this small town?"
"Not now Nathan." Lucas said as he stood up. "Look, my friends and I were here first. There are other hoops and courts over there."
"Yeah but we always play at this one." Michael snapped.
"And that means what?" Nathan said coming up behind Lucas.
"That means that you either leave on your own or we do it for you." Michael said getting pissed off.
"Guys." Alex yelled but he knew none of them heard him.
"How about we play you for it?" Nathan said.
"Yeah. The winner stays and the losers walk." Lucas added as he looked from Michael to Max. This guy wanted Liz and he knew it. That's why he was here.
Liz had told him that Max was very calm but when he felt like something wasn't going to go his way then he either fought for it or let it go. With Liz, Lucas knew that this Max guy wouldn't just walk away. She was something special and they both wanted her.
"Deal." Max said as he reached out to shake Lucas' hand.

Chapter 13
Maria looked at her mom, shocked. "What?"
"You're right. I always leave you here with the Parkers and I know that you and Liz aren't close anymore, so come with me. You've never been to Las Vegas and I want to be able to spend Christmas with my daughter."
"But I'm-."
"You're old enough Maria." Amy said cutting her off.
Maria thought about it for a minute. No she hadn't been to Las Vegas and yeah her mom did have to work but she would actually be spending time with her. They almost never did that anymore because of the whole 'alien' thing and now. What was she waiting for?
"Okay. When do we leave?"

Lucas and Nathan stood on one side of the court while Max and Michael stood on the other. They were all waiting for Kyle who was going to be the ref.
"So you ready?" Kyle finally asked as he walked into the middle of the court.
"Yep." Lucas and Nathan said at the same time.
"We're ready." Max told him.
"Okay." Kyle threw up the ball and moved out of the way just as Nathan and Michael went up for it.

"Where are they?" Haley asked.
She and Liz had already gone shopping and were sitting in the food court. They had both bought lots of regular clothes like shirt and pants but then there was the 'lingerie' shopping they did. Let's just say that niether Lucas nor Nathan would be unhappy.
"No clue. Maybe they got stuck at the basketball court?" Liz said as she took a sip of her cherry soda.
"Maybe." Haley said as she glanced around but then she noticed these girls who were staring at them. "Is it me or are they actually staring at us?"
"Who?" Liz asked looking around.
"Them." Haley said motioning with her chin. Liz turned and saw Tess and Isabel sitting with each other and they were staring.
"I know them." Liz said turning back to Haley. "Let's go. I don't want any problems."
"Probelms? What problems Liz?"
Liz looked at Haley and knew that she couldn't tell her the whole story but she could edit it for her.
"Um, well you see the tall blond?"
"Yeah?"
"Well that's Isabel. I dated her brother Max and you see the other one?" Haley nodded again. "That's Tess, Max's new girlfriend."
"But I don't get what the problem is. You and Max broke up and you're with Lucas. What could they possibly have against you?" Liz's eyes filled with tears. "Oh god Liz tell me what happened."
"A few months ago, Max had been pushing at me telling me that he loved me and that he wanted me back but I couldn't go back. I couldn't do it. You see, while we were dating, Tess moved into town. At first, it was nothing but then, Max stared to just stare at her like he was hypnotised or something. Then one night, right after he told me that he had no feeling for Tess and kissed me, I saw him kissing her right outside of the crashdown. So I broke up with him."
"Okay?"
"So back to a few months ago. Since I didn't want to got through all of that again, I tried everything in my power to get him to just back off but nothing worked. Max just wouldn't take no for an answer so I asked Kyle to help me. I stage it so that it looked like Kyle and I had slept together even though nothing happened."
"So Max saw you guys?"
"Yeah. I heard from a friend that he was going to come to my house that night so I had to work fast. After that, they all turned on me. Maria, Max, Michael, Isabel and Tess. The only two who stood by my side were Alex and Kyle."
"But I still don't get the problem."
"For some reason they just won't leave me alone. That's why I left and that's why I want to leave now. They all can hold grudges like nothing. So can we please leave and find the guys?"
"Of course." Haley stood up and grabbed her things while Liz did the same, only she saw that Isaebl and Tess were walking in their direction. "Bitch alert." Haley said quickly.
"What?" But Haley couldn't say anything since they were already in front of them.
"Hey Liz." Tess said in an all too friendly tone. "It's so nice to see you off your back."
"Haha." Liz faked laughed. "Tess. Such ugly words from such a nasty bitch. We were just on our way out but this was nice."
"Leaving already? I guess Running away is easier than facing the firing squad?" Isabel put in, in her Ice Queen voice.
"Ah, the Brooke and Peyton of Roswell." Haley mumbled. "And here I thought that we were going to have a vacation."
"What did you say?" Tess snapped.
"Back off, bleach blond bitch. She's with me so she can say whatever she wants." Liz said moving into Tess' face.
"Sorry, Liz but I'm stickly dickly."
"Well, I guess you have to be since you have screwed more guys than there is in this town." Haley told her.
"Such big words from such a small person." Ice queen snapped.
"Sorry Ice Bitch and Gerbil twit. We gotta go." Liz said then she and Haley turned and walked away before they could say anything more.
"This is so gonna be fun." Haley told Liz as they got into Liz's car.
"You're telling me."

Lucas dribbled the ball in front of Max just as Nathan got away from Michael and threw it to him. Nathan did a 360, making Michael fall and dunked the ball.
"And that's game, baby." Lucas said as he and Nathan high fived each other.
"Nice whipping that ass." Nathan joked.
Max and Michael looked both out of breath and shocked. They had tried to use their powers but Nathan and Lucas were too fast for them. Then there were the moves. Niether had seen moves like that except for at that basketball game they went to.
"Damn. Now that was basketball." Kyle said laughing as he walked pass Max and Michael and to Lucas and Nathan. "You guys hungry?"
"Yeah but we're suppose to meet Liz and Haley at the mall." Nathan said and then Lucas freaked.
"Holy crap."
"What?" Nathan asked him.
"We were suppose to meet our girlfirends at the mall."
"Yeah?"
"That was a half an hour ago." Lucas yelled.
"Holy crap." Nathan repeate.
"Tell me about it." Liz said, not noticing Max or Michael.
"Yeah. We waited for you guys but left when we were confronted by the Brooke and Peyton of Roswell." Haley told them as she walked over to Nathan.
"The Brooke and Peyton of Roswell?" Kyle asked as Alex walked over to them.
"Yeah, there are these two girls who hate Liz because she's going out with Lucas and their names are Brooke and Peyton."
"How bad can two girls be?" Alex asked but then he remember what Isabel and Tess did to Liz before she left.
"Well let's just say that it got so bad that Nathan had to move in with me." Liz told them. Lucas pulled her closer to him and kissed the top of her head.
"So who is 'Brooke and Peyton' of Roswell?" Kyle asked even though he had a somewhat of a clue.
"Isabel and Tess." Liz said not noticing Isabel and Tess walk over to Max and Michael.
"You rang?" Isabel snapped.
Maria looked at her mom, shocked. "What?"
"You're right. I always leave you here with the Parkers and I know that you and Liz aren't close anymore, so come with me. You've never been to Las Vegas and I want to be able to spend Christmas with my daughter."

Chapter 14
"You Rang." Isabel snapped.
"Actually, no. We didn't." Nathan said looking at Isabel funny. "We don't even know you."
"She does." Isabel said, pointing at Liz. "And she just said my name."
"Mine too." Tess smiled.
"And?" Kyle snapped. "Tess, Isabel. Isabel, Tess. Their just names. They mean nothing to us."
"Look. I really don't want to fight with you guys. If anything, I just want this Christmas to be peaceful." Liz told them but she never left Lucas' arms. He gave her strength and right now that was exactly what she needed. "What happened is in the past, can't we just forget about it and move on?"
No one said anything. The Pod Squad just stared at her. It wasn't until Lucas said something, that every thing exploded.
"Look, Liz is right." He started looking down at her. "We'll leave you guys alone, if u leave us alone. Then we won't have to do this anymore."
"Whatever. This will never be over and you know that Liz." Max finally snapped. "You slept with Kyle and you ruined everything. Nothing will ever be the same."
"Wait. What?" Nathan shook his head. "You think Liz slept with Kyle?"
"I don't think, I know."
"That's impossible. Liz wouldn't sleep with Kyle." Nathan looked at Kyle. "No offense."
"None taken."
"Well, she did and it ruined everything." Michael yelled.
"Let's just-." Liz started but was cut off by Isabel.
"Let's just nothing. Because of you, none of us can ever be normal around you, Kyle or Alex. Because of you will ever be the same. Why did you even do it?"
"Hey. That was their choice." Liz finally yelled back. "They were true friends who stood by me when the 2 of you went on to ruin what life Ihad here in Roswell. They stood by me when none of you would and why i did it? I didn't sleep with Kyle, you assholes!"
"But I-."
"But you saw us?" Liz said before Max could.
"Yeah."
"Well that's because I staged it. You wouldn't take no as an answer so I had to use another method. I mean when I told you that I wouldn't die for you, I thought for sure you would break but then I heard you were coming to my house even after that, I didn't know WHAT to do. So I turned to Maria who told me about Michael and Courtney and I knew what I had to do. And it worked but you know what, fuck you all."
Liz turned on her heel and walked away. Haley shook her head and ran after her. Lucas closed his eyes.
"You're such an ass man." Then he opened his eyes. "Leave my girlfriend alone. It's Christmas. Come on."
"Dumbass. Come near Liz and Luke isn't the one you'll deal wit. Liz is like a sister to me. I'll kick your ass all the way to next week." Nathan said. Then he and Lucas went after the girls.
Only Kyle, Alex and the pod squad stood in the park. They knew that now was the time to tell them the truth.
"Liz and me didn't sleep together." Kyle breathed.
"Well duh." Tess snapped. "She just told us that." She said rolling her eyes and Kyle gave up. "You know what. Liz is right. Fuck you all." Then he was gone.
"Alex?" Max called but Alex wasn't going to break. They needed to know.
"She did it for you, Max. She did it all for all of you."
"What do you mean?"
"A future version of you, Max, came to her and told her that because Tess left, your enemies came to Earth and killed us all. He even told her that he held Michael in his arms, died while Isabel died a week before that." No one spoke. "She did it because that's what a person who loves her friends, does. And because none of you are good friends, you all turned on her and now, she'll never come back to Roswell to stay." Then he turned and walked home.
The pod squad stood shocked at what Alex had told them. They had been such assholes to all of the humans and now....They lost them all for sure. Well all but Maria.

"Yep. How long will we be gone?" Maria asked as she got into the car with her mom.
"Don't know. Now that you're with me maybe we'll make it a trip to remember."

Chapter 14
Liz sat in her room crying, alone. Haley, Lucas and Nathan all tried to get in but she wouldn't open the door for anyone. She needed to be alone. She needed time to think. Liz wiped away her tears as she reached for the radio and turned it up. Since being in Tree Hill, Liz turned to rock to help her with her pain and right now, that was all the help she really wanted. Paramore's 'Crushcrushcrush' played through her room, pulling her into a sudden calm. A sudden calm that helped her to think.
There was so much she had bottled up inside and so much she wanted to say but didn't. It was like she was still little Lizzie Parker when she wasn't. She was Liz and she didn't take crap from anyone, not even people she believed were her family. A sudden rage filled her body.
Who the hell did they think they were? So what if they were royals in their last life. In this life they were just like everyone else. They had feelings and emotions.... A smile spread across her face. They did have feelings and emotions and she knew all the little things that set them off. Liz's small smile turned into an evil grin. She was so gonna get them back for ruining her life.

Max sat in his room, shocked. She had done it for them because he had asked her to. His future self had come and to Liz that she had to break them apart but why? Why go to Liz? Why not just come to him or to Michael? Something was missing and Max needed to know what it was.
Thinking only on impulse, Max jumped out of his bed, out of his house and ran all the way to Liz's house. There, he climbed her ladder and jumped over the wall but her window was closed and so were her shades. That was different. No matter what, Liz always left her window open. What was she doing inside?
Just then, Max heard Liz moan.

Liz and Lucas sat in her room, just laying on her bed. Liz had finally opened up the door when she got everything fixed in her mind. Now all she needed was sometime alone with Lucas. And that was exactly what they were getting. Nathan and Haley went to the movies while her parents went somewhere 'romantic'. It was alittle weird to hear that from her parents since they were always alone now that she was gone but then her mother winked at her and Liz shut up quick. Now it was only her and the man who stole her heart.
"What are you thinking?" Lucas asked her as he gently moved the hair from her face.
"Just about my parents and them being 'alone'." She said wiggling her eyes. Lucas groaned.
"That was kind of weird." He smiled.
"What?" Liz asked but instead of just telling her, Lucas rolled her onto her and started kissing her. She was in heaven.
"Just wanted to do that." Lucas said as he pulled away.
"Then don't stop."
Liz pulled Lucas back to her and soon their simple kiss turned into so much more. Their clothes disappeared one by one all the while never leaving each other's embrace. Liz tilted her head back giving Lucas all the access to her neck. He was soon at her pulse, making Liz moan his name without even realizing it. Then Lucas made his way down her body only to stop at her belly button. For some reason, Liz's stomach was so beautiful to him and he loved kissing it every time they made love.
"Haha." Liz giggled.
"Shhhh. You're parents may be home and I would hate for them to see us just in our underwear about to have sex on their little angel's bed." Liz giggled some more. "Liz!" Lucas chuckled. Then he started tickling her sides making Liz laugh more. It wasn't until they were both out of breath that they stopped. "Now see. I have to start all over again." Lucas said slowly.
"Well you better-."
"Not!" Both Liz and Lucas turned to see Max standing inside the room by the window with so much anger in his eyes.

Max sat in his room, shocked. She had done it for them because he had asked her to. His future self had come and to Liz that she had to break them apart but why? Why go to Liz? Why not just come to him or to Michael? Something was missing and Max needed to know what it was.
Thinking only on impulse, Max jumped out of his bed, out of his house and ran all the way to Liz's house. There, he climbed her ladder and jumped over the wall but her window was closed and so were her shades. That was different. No matter what, Liz always left her window open. What was she doing inside?
Just then, Max heard Liz moan.

Liz and Lucas sat in her room, just laying on her bed. Liz had finally opened up the door when she got everything fixed in her mind. Now all she needed was sometime alone with Lucas. And that was exactly what they were getting. Nathan and Haley went to the movies while her parents went somewhere 'romantic'. It was alittle weird to hear that from her parents since they were always alone now that she was gone but then her mother winked at her and Liz shut up quick. Now it was only her and the man who stole her heart.
"What are you thinking?" Lucas asked her as he gently moved the hair from her face.
"Just about my parents and them being 'alone'." She said wiggling her eyes. Lucas groaned.
"That was kind of weird." He smiled.
"What?" Liz asked but instead of just telling her, Lucas rolled her onto her and started kissing her. She was in heaven.
"Just wanted to do that." Lucas said as he pulled away.
"Then don't stop."
Liz pulled Lucas back to her and soon their simple kiss turned into so much more. Their clothes disappeared one by one all the while never leaving each other's embrace. Liz tilted her head back giving Lucas all the access to her neck. He was soon at her pulse, making Liz moan his name without even realizing it. Then Lucas made his way down her body only to stop at her belly button. For some reason, Liz's stomach was so beautiful to him and he loved kissing it every time they made love.
"Haha." Liz giggled.
"Shhhh. You're parents may be home and I would hate for them to see us just in our underwear about to have sex on their little angel's bed." Liz giggled some more. "Liz!" Lucas chuckled. Then he started tickling her sides making Liz laugh more. It wasn't until they were both out of breath that they stopped. "Now see. I have to start all over again." Lucas said slowly.
"Well you better-."
"Not!" Both Liz and Lucas turned to see Max standing inside the room by the window with so much anger in his eyes.

Chapter 15
"Well you better-."
"Not!" Both Liz and Lucas turned to see Max standing inside the room by the window with so much anger in his eyes. "Liz, what the hell is this?"
"Max!" Liz pulled her blanket to cover herself. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to talk to you. Are you crazy? Are you really sleeping with this guy?" His voice was getting louder with each word.
"Dude, why don't you just leave? It's obvious she doesn't want you any-."
"You shut up." Max snapped at Lucas.
"No." Liz yelled. "Why don't you shut up and get out? This is both my room and my life!"
"What?!" But Liz couldn't answer him because seconds later, both Nathan and Kyle were in her room.
"Well looky here. Maxwell." Nathan snapped. "What are you doing here?"
"Dude, I think he was watching." Kyle said, looking at Liz, who was covering herself with her blanket and Lucas who already had his pants on.
"No. He didn't see anything." Lucas told them standing up. "He stopped us before we could."
"That's just nasty."
"This is great but can you like get him OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!" Liz yelled.
"No problem." Nathan stalked to Max and with one hit, he was out. "Now what?" Nathan asked as he watched Max lay out on the ground.
"I know." Liz giggled.

Max woke up the next morning with the only head ache. He didn't know why and for some reason, he couldn't remember anything about last night.
"Sir, you can't be here right now." A young girl's voice broke Max out of his daze. "Max?"
"Pam? Pam Troy?" Max asked.
"It is Max. I knew this day would come." Pam's high pitched giggle woke Max up fully and he was able to regester exactly where he was. In the back seat of Pam Troy's topless convertable. "We are like soooo gonna have the best time together."
Pam started the car and drove off, never giving Max the chance to escape.
"Well you better-."
"Not!" Both Liz and Lucas turned to see Max standing inside the room by the window with so much anger in his eyes. "Liz, what the hell is this?"
"Max!" Liz pulled her blanket to cover herself. "What are you doing here?"

Chapter 16
Lucas and Nate sat at the counter as Liz and Haley worked. Liz's parents had asked Liz if she could help out while one of the waitress' was away on vacation. She moaned a yes but then begged Haley to help her. Haley agreed, not understanding what was so bad working as a waitress until she saw the uniform.
"You gotta be kidding me?" She almost yelled. "Are you sure this is the uniform?"
"No and yes, that's what we gotta wear." Liz said as she started putting on the uniform. When she turned back to Haley, she had a 'you gotta be kidding me' look on her face. "Oh come on. You work for Karen all the time. Like you told me before. It's the same thing!" Liz said imating Haley's voice.
"Oh you so suck." Haley said as she hit Liz with the uniform.
"Haley come on." Liz whined as she gave her best friend her best puppy eyes.
"Okay, fine!"
And here they were. Both walking around in the tiny outfits looking almost good enough to eat to the guys.
"And you said this was a bad idea." Lucas said to Nathan as Liz passed by them.
"I'm such an idiot." Nathan's eyes never left Haley as she was taking orders in the front. Her legs were bear and all Nathan could think about was having them wrapped around him. She looked amazing. But then he turned and saw Liz bending over, her uniform riding up just enough to show way too much. "Ahh. That's wrong."
Lucas laughed as Liz walked over to them.
"So how does it feel to sit around and do nothing?" She asked them as she passed by with a gray tub in her arms.
"Pretty good actually." Lucas smiled.
"That is until you bent over." Nathan rubbed his eyes. "I think I'ma need to wash my eyes out."

Max stood outside, watching Liz as she laughed with her new friends. It had taken him forever to get away from Pam but when he did, this was the first place he had gone. Of course he needed a bath but he had to stop Liz from doing what she was doing. He couldn't believe that she had gone and fallen for someone else but seeing her now as she laughed. Wow. She looked amazing. She hadn't laughed like that in a long time. Her whole face seemed to glow as she stood next to that Lucas guy. He had been replaced.
"Hey Max. What are you doing standing out here?" Tess asked as she stood next to him. She had been walking home when she had seen him stop and just stare into the cafe.
"I was just passing by." Max turned and walked away. "Bye Tess."
"Um, bye." Tess wondered what had Max so sad but when she looked into the cafe, she had her answer. Liz.
She was kissing Lucas like only a person in love kisses. Nathan had turned to look away looking disgusted. Tess felt her heart clench and then a smile spread across her lips. Maybe now Max would see that they were made for each other.
