Re: One Song Everyday # 4
In Your Eyes (Live Version) by Ben Harper
I'm not usually one for covers (with a few, noted exceptions - the Mad World remake done for Donnie Darko is a good example), but Ben Harper rocks this out. And considering how much I love the Peter Gabriel original, that's saying something. The Say Anything soundtrack remains among my favorite albums of all time. I was a single digit kid when I first held that album in my hands, and without it, it may have taken me a lot longer to discover Cheap Trick and Depeche Mode and Peter Gabriel and The Replacements. Sigh...Alli
Dean: Damn cops.
Sam: They were just doing their job.
Dean: No, they were doing our job, only they don't know it so they suck at it.
