What are you looking forward to in 2010?
A lot of people I've talked to have had pretty horrible years. Myself included. One bad thing after another, one huge change after another. But it's almost time to ring in the new year, so what is everyone looking forward to?
I'm looking forward to being able to share 522 with you guys.
I'm looking forward (with a slight trepidation) to fulfililng my new year's resolution of not biting my nails.
I'm also looking forward to only having 12 credit hours worth of classes for the first time ever.
And I'm looking forward to a mom-sponsored shopping spree. She's promised me one.
Anyone else?

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2010?
2009 wasn't actually so bad for me, though I did something I wasn't particulalry proud of. But I think it just means that I can grow from that particularly unpleasant experience and become a better person. It wasn' that bad (I'm making somehing out of nothing) but it messed with how I saw myself.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to:
Finishing my degree
Moving back home and starting a new degree (I'm a masochist )
Finishing one of my fics
Going overseas
Riding my horses again (particularly my big baby Louis, he's just been broken in)
That's all I can think of right now

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2010?
2009 was a year of loss for me, so I'm looking forward to:
No family members becoming ill and/or dying
As I love to travel, I'll be taking my 18 yr old sister with me ... somewhere, don't exactly know where just yet (any ideas?)
Saving up at least $10,000 by the end of next year
Preparing to move to a new state
Enjoying myself and stepping a bit further out of my comfort zone

I'm looking forward to.
The anual Japanese New Year party that I have missed for the past three years. It takes place on the 1st so it so counts.
Getting my teeth fixed, and having dental and medical insurance again. YIPPY!!!
Alice in Wonderland! Johny Depp as the Mad Hatter should be interesting.
And the number one thing I'm looking forward to in 2010. I hope anyways, is potty training my son. No more diapers! WOOHOOO!!!

2009 wasn't too bad for me, but I'm definitely looking forward a few things at the beginning of 2010:
- Leaving my current job in a few weeks
- Travelling in South America for 6 weeks in Febuary and March (Peru, Bolivia and Chile)
- Coming home from South America to start my new job in April

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2010?
2009 was pretty good for me. Everything I wanted to accomplish regardig studies and private life, worked out pretty well so I won't complain.
I never have real resolutions for the new year knowing I will break them the second 2010 starts. It's never something bad. I just promise my family to be less cynical, not swearing and not use insulting language. Never worked and probably never will.
As for 2010 I look forward to:
1) finishing my degree.
2) travel more around Europe and visit my other relatives.
3) finally visiting my brother and spend time with him in his new hometown.
4) be financially stable (thanks to the new job I got it's finally possible)
5) my brother's wedding
6) have a good year like 2009 was
7) being a better updater for my fics and finally finishing some of them.
That's it for now. We'll see what I want for 2011

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2010?
This year has been so so. For me I was always trying to find what I was good at. Like my nit. This year I found it and I should have saw it long ago.
1. Going for that dream job I should have saw coming.
2. Working on my own house. :yay:
3. Growing more as a person.
4. Making my life dreams come true.

Finishing Gold diggers. (Of course, I also said that about 2009 but I mean it this time.)

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2010?
2009 was actually one of my better years, despite the lack of money.
As for 2010, I am looking forward to...
...graduating! I get to graduate one quarter earlier than originally planned (graduating in March instead of June), which is great, because they're raising tuition fees!
...engagement ring! This is the year!
...my BF and I moving into our own apartment!
...being able to have a full-time job!
I hope 2010 is a better year for you April!

Life is only as good as the memories we make.
