CHAPTER 44
LIZ P.O.V
It’s 6.30 pm and I am patiently waiting for Max to come and pick me up.
I didn’t know what to wear.
I mean … he won’t tell me where we are going.
…so I called him…
RING RING
“Hello” I hear his sexy voice say smugly into the phone.
“Hey bub” I state sultry.
“What’s up baby?” he asks and I can picture the concerned look that he always has on his face at first.
“Nothing sweetie… I just called to see what I should where tonight” I say enthusiastically.
“Ummm… something nice” he says as he tries to find the right words.
“I thought I always look nice?” I say with a baby voice and I know he is picturing me with a pout, right at this moment.
“You do princess” he says and I smile.
“Good”…
“So where are we going again?” I ask as if I honestly forgot ….but I had no idea where we were going in the first place.
“Nice try baby” he says.
“Listen sweetie, just be ready by 7 and wear something …elegant” he states before saying his goodbyes and telling me he loves me.
“I love you too…ok bye” I say before hanging up the phone and running to the closet.
Believe when I say it took me 2 hours to find what I was going to wear.
But I finally decided on a knee length, strapless, baby pink dress which is low cut and very tight around the edges.
I know Max likes the colour pink on me…
…so I thought I’d surprise him.
I hear his car pull up in the drive way and moments later I hear the door open.
“Honey, I’m… Ohh My God…”…

CHAPTER 45
LIZ P.O.V
I hear his car pull up in the drive way and moments later I hear the door open.
“Honey, I’m… Ohh My God…” he states as he appears at the entrance of the living room.
His jaw drops as he stares at me with sizzling eyes.
“You look…”
He states as I see his tongue peak out and wet his lips.
“Look?” I ask
“Good enough … to say lets stay home and …” he says but stops as I bend down to grab my matching pink hand bag.
“…Fuck” I hear him whisper.
“And I would, but I really want to go out and see what you had planned” I say as I look him and his shocked expression.
“Right” he says as he slaps himself out of his daze and leads me to the door.
Once we are in the car and on our way I see him look over at me and smile.
“What?” I ask self consciously as he continues to stare.
“It’ nothing” he says as he turns back to the wheel.
“What is it?”
“It’s just, you really do look beautiful” he states as he smiles sweetly at me and I can’t help but smile back.
“You don’t look so bad either handsome” I state as I take in his appearance.
He is wearing black pin stripe pants with a white button up top and no tie.
… I love it when he doesn’t wear a tie …
It’s so … HOT.
I am broken out of my daze when I hear him say.
“We’re here”
I look out the window and my heart aches with love.
“Ohhhh Max” I sigh as I continue to take in our destination.
“It’s beautiful” I state as I turn to him with slight tears in my eyes.
“Just like you”….

CHAPTER 46
LIZ P.O.V
“We’re here” he states with a smile.
I look out the window and my heart aches with love.
“Ohhhh Max” I sigh as I continue to take in our destination.
“It’s beautiful” I state as I turn to him with slight tears in my eyes.
“Just like you” he adds as he stretches out his arm and I accept it willingly.
We step out of the car and walk into the ‘Leoquision’ the newest Italian restaurant/ night club in Roswell.
“How did you know I wanted to come here” I ask with a bright smile.
“I over heard one of your conversations with Maria” he states with a smile just as bright.
It’s a huge glass building. The bottom levels a dance club and the top levels the most elegant and romantic restaurants …ever.
We walk in and get an elevator up to the 5th floor.
“You ready?” he asks me and I look at him with a smile.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” I ask and he just shakes his head.
When the door opens I see what he was talking about.
It’s absolutely beautiful…
There are high walls painted in cream with gold lighting and a huge dance floor.
There is a bar to the right and a private balcony to the left.
As we walk to the counter I hear Max say.
“Reservation for Evans”...
“Yes, right this way sir” the waiter says as he walks us to our own little place outside on the balcony.
“Ohhhh Max, this is so beautiful” I state once he is gone.
“I know baby” he says as he looks down at me with a smile.
“I just want to make sure that you have a good time” he says as he pushes out my chair and I sit down.
He takes his seat across from me but joins our hands over the table.
I look around.
It is a small balcony, very private and you can see the starry sky shining above us and the light glow of the town lights beneath us.
The waiter comes moments later and we order our dishes.
Over dinner there is a small conversation about work and school.
After we are finished I look at Max to see the nervous look, playing on his face.
“Are you alright?” I ask as I reach my hand across the table and take his large hand in mine.
“I’m fine” he says as he smiles at me.
I hear sweet music start to play and look over my shoulder to see three average size men playing instruments.
I smile and turn back to Max to see him kneeling down in front of me.
“Oh My God”…

CHAPTER 47

I hear sweet music start to play and look over my shoulder to see three average size men playing instruments.
I smile and turn back to Max to see him kneeling down in front of me.
“Oh My God” I say in shock.
I see him nervously take my hand in his as he begins to talk.
“Liz Parker, when you first came into my life… I questioned if I could be your teacher with out jumping you every prac lesson” he states with a small smile and I giggle shyly.
“But the first time I saw you and you mumble that you were going to send me to a mental asylum… you were right… coz I am absolutely crazy in love with you” he states and I feel the tears build up in my eyes.
“I knew from the first day that I loved you, and I would love nothing more that to call you my wife” he says as he reaches back into his pocket and pulls out a small velvet box and opens it to revel a white gold, diamond ring.
“Will you marry me?” he asks and I blink in shock.
I look at the sparkling ring and then back to the face of the man I love.
“Yes” I say happily.
“Yes I will marry you” I say as I throw myself into his arms.
I hear cheering and clapping and turn my head to the right to see the people gathered in the restaurant smiling g and clapping their hands with a smile.
“Looks like me have an audience” he states as he kisses my lips and I giggle.
“Yeah, it does” I say as I pull away.
He reachers for my hand, whilst slipping on the sparkling engagement ring.
“Thankyou” he says when it is on and he wipes the tears in my eyes.
“For what?” I ask as I look back into his looking ones.
“For making me the luckiest P.E. teacher alive” he states and I chuckle as I lean in for a kiss.
“You really are crazy” I state with a bright smile as I look up into the eyes of my fiancé.
“I’m in love with you, aren’t I?”
