I laugh at Alex's questions before answering, "I never trained her. She just knows when someone's a good person. I never used to pay attention at first but now I do. Gabriel was exaggerating of course."
"And do I even want to know how she reacted to Grant?"
"Yeah you do." I tell him with an evil grin "I still have a good laugh at that memory to this very day. She crapped in his overnight bag and she happened to have an upset tummy at that time."

I laugh at what Misty did to Grant's stuff. I'm really starting to like the cat but I won't admit that yet.
"Okay, I won't ever bring any bags over to your place and let them be unguarded. Or anything else made of leather. And wow, within two days, I met two of your ex-boyfriends, looks like I'm on a roll." I laugh. "But it appears as if things ended better with Gabriel than with Grant."
Hm, both start with *G* - wonder if there's some routine behind that.

"Oh shut up Alex!" I cry in mock outrage and pinch his arm and then laugh "I'm glad that it amuses you so much."
"But it appears as if things ended better with Gabriel than with Grant."
I nod my head, "Yes, yes they did. We were only together for a couple of months but it was more like we were just meant to be good friends and nothing else no matter how much we tried. So we came to a mutual agreement to call things off. He's a good guy. You'll like him."
Coming to a standstill I put my hands on my hips, "This place is crawling with people, werne't never going to find them. Just call Kyle or Max, will you."

I shake my head and smile at him. "Nah, you didn't ruin things. It's kind of nice to know that you have a fear...makes you human. I'm not exactly comfortable with the idea of us being stuck up here either. Just keep talking to me and keep looking at me and I'm sure we'll be off here in no time! Uh, oh! I know. I was debating about whether to wear my hair up or down today. The ponytail was easiest to do. What do you think? Do you like my hair up or down better?" I ask. Yeah, I know, sounds kind of shallow when he's trying to keep his stomach in his body but I'm grasping for something to take his mind off of our predicament, and mine too for that matter.

"Um...I mean...uh..." I look embarressed...I bet I'm going red right now. Oh hell! "But I am partial to it down..." I say slowly.
I smile and joke. "What about me? Down or up?" I wriggle my eyebrows at her.

I smile as he reddens. I don't think he meant to say that. Immediately, I pull the ponytail holder out of my hair and shake my head to loosen it up. "There you go! Down it is," I say with a wink and grin.
"What about me? Down or up?" I laugh when he wiggles his eyebrows up and down and then scoot a little closer.
Drawing slow circles on his chest, I lean into his ear and whisper, "I actually love it when you're up." I know he has to get my meaning when my hand drops from his chest down to his thigh. I hope I've gotten his mind off of our predicament.

He moves closer and I pull out a pack of gum from my pocket. What? The man was just wretching over the side of this car! I'm not kissing him after that. Sorry. "Would you like a piece of gum?" I ask innocently. Before he can answer either way, the ride lurches once, moving us forward a few feet violently. Now it's my turn to go all pale and I feel my stomach protest the sudden movement.
I lean over the side of the ride to see what's happening and I can see Gus and the other guy frowning at each other and shaking their heads. They've already unloaded people from the cars on the ground or near enough so they can climb down. I can hear the occupants of the cars in front and behind us either yelling down to the ground or talking loudly to each other. I guess everyone is getting nervous now.

I quickly close my eyes, trying to keep calm. "Things I like..." I mutter. "My job.... Liz....women....."
Ok two problems with my list.
One - why did Liz come before women?
Two - WHY DOES MY LIST ONLY HAVE 3 THINGS?! AM I THAT MUCH OF A SADDO!!!!
I swallow hard and open my eyes deciding thats not working. I grab Liz's arm, so that she looks up. "Keeeeep on talking to me ok Liz..." I say with a very obviously fake grin. "I REALLY think talking right now would be good... so Liz... tell me about your...friends?"

"Yes Ma'am." I give a mock salute as Isabel *orders* me to call Max or Kyle's cell phone. Fishing my phone out of my pocket I briefly ponder who to try first. I decide for Kyle since we saw him and Tess last before Kyle left Iz and me to talk to Tess.
Besides, Max and Liz really seemed to get very friendly in the few seconds we were all standing around together. Okay, Iz and I had our moments too as Isabel was kind enough to point out but seriously, who knows what I might be interrupting if I call Max?
"I'll try Kyle first." I inform Isabel as I punch in Kyle's number, waiting if he'll answer.
