"Hey, if you want to, you can kiss me now and then start talking" I suggest with a grin.
I'm not good at discussing my thoughts when it comes to relationships."
"Neither am I." I admit with a sigh. "Okay, but promise me to not hold it against me if I sound too corny or stupid!"
I take a deep breath, trying to figure out how to get started, not even sure what I want to say. Maybe it helps if I look at Isabel first so looking at her might give me a clue.
Looking at her for a minute, I finally begin, "Okay, I like you, Isabel. A lot actually. You are the most beautiful woman I've ever met and not only are you good looking, but you are also smart and friendly and nice."
So far so good, I guess. Turning so that I'm looking ahead, I continue, intent to get it all out before I start worrying about her reaction. "I enjoy spending time with you and am looking forward to see or hear from you again when we are not hanging out."
"I don't really know what *this* is" I gesture between the two of us with my free hand, "but I'd hate it if you'd only think of this as ... something fun that can be tossed aside after a few days."
I fall silent after that, going over my words again. "Okay, the last did indeed sound corny, sorry for that."

I don't think it is possible for me to hold anything against him but I keep silent.
I listen as he tells me what he thinks of me and what he'd like for us and I think I am falling for him more and more every second if that is possible.Men just usually see the beautiful face and body when they meet me and nothing else so Alex is like a breath of fresh air.Okay so I know I sound conceited but I know what my assets are and I am not going to apologise for them.

Having said that I raise one of his hands to my lip and kiss the back of his palm.

I'm about to make a weak joke when she kisses my palm. Thinking kinda gets hard when she does such things. God help me when we'll do more than just such simple kissing. Not that I assume we will soon be doing more and ... well ... argh, whatever!

Impulsively I pull him closer and wrap one arm of mine aorund his waist and give him a little squeeze before pulling away.
"I guess it wouldn't be too forward of me to ask you out on a date then?"

I sigh happily at that. I wasn't expecting a negative reply but I wasn't one hundred percent sure either.
"May be we should head back inside before we start raising too many suspicions?Although being out here is really nice."
Isabel says after a moment, hugging me briefly and keeping one arm around my waist. My own arm automatically goes up around her shoulder.
"I admit I'd rather stay here too," I say, thinking to myself that I don't have to *share* her that way, "but it might really be suspicious if we stay out for too long."
I then look back at Isabel teasingly. "You are right, it's always been me who kissed you. It's like you are afraid of kissing me."

Turning my back to the house,I keep walking backwards,so that I can face him,"You're wrong you know...at the club,it was me who kissed you first on the dance floor.I knew then that I was in trouble."
Pausing for a moment I look down,"Why do you think I kept my distance from you after the dance?It was just so weird for me to like a guy so much after barely twenty minutes.I don't trust men easily."

It's easy to tel that this is a vulnerable subject for Isabel and I can't help myself and pull her into a hug. "I'm sorry that I jumped to conclusions about you being angry at me or something instead of asking if I did something wrong or sit back and think about the whole situation first."
I murmured this into her hair but now I pull back to look down into her eyes, "Listen Isabel, I want you to know that you can trust me - believe me, I never want to hurt you, I mean it."
I pause for a moment before adding, "But even I know that trust is earned and not granted and ..." I glance around and then lead us away from the house, even though no one can possibly hear us.
" ... and ... well ... I want you to trust me so ... I stripped." Isabel looks at me confused and I can already feel my face heating up.
"What was talking about in the club - the most horrible incident in my life. I ... at my ex-girlfriend's birthday party, I wanted to show her how much I care for her so she'd come back to me and I stripped. In front of all our friends, and as I found out later, also some of my tutors and it were some interesting months going to college afterwards... ... I've never told that anyone and ... well, please don't tell Liz and the others."
I more mumble than speak the last few parts, looking everywhere but at Isabel, not wanting to see her laughing at me. "It was stupid, I know that now ... but back then it seemed like a good idea."

I put down my drink and walk over to a more spacious place to dance. I put my hands on my waist and smile at her. "Shouldn't the host be busy inviting guests... you don't have to pity the guy who's by himself...I can always find company" I say with a wink. "Although no company would be better than you."
