"We have a long road ahead of us, Lonnie, but it's not impossible. Trust in me that I'm in it for the long haul." he says before kissing me and I wrap my arms around his neck kissing him back,tears still streaming down my cheeks,but they are tears of relief.

Breaking the kiss I rest my head on shoulder,"I love you Kivar and I want to help you in any way I can,always remember that." Looking up him I smile,"I'm going to go to my room now,I think I need to lie down for a while.Will you come to me quickly?"

Occ: Nickolas has developed into his own character and is growing into an even bigger part so I'll be playing him too, I suppose. I kinda like playing the bad guys though! It's a fun change.

"Of course, my darling. If you want me, I'll come as soon as I finish up a couple of things here. Then, perhaps you and I can spend time with my sister together. Has she seen Caramel and Charcoal?" If I remember, Ava was always fond of dogs. Perhaps I should have gotten one for her as well...as a peace offering.

I wait outside Kivar's office, listening at the door in disgust. I quickly move to hide behind the plant that is outside of the door. I don't want them to know I've been eavesdropping. Kivar is a fool for giving into his emotions where Vilandra is concerned. She is Antarian...a pretty chess piece that has to be played strategically or she will be the one to rule this planet. That cannot be.

Reaching up I kiss the tip of his nose,"Yes,she seen Caramel but Charcoal wasn't around.I'll take her to see him later and I want some alone time with you first before Tess joins us for dinner.See you in a bit." I walk out of his office feeling a whole lot better

As soon as Vilandra closes the door behind her, I step into her path. I bow slightly but my stance is obviously one of disdain. "Your Majesty," I say sarcastically. She has never liked me and I have always felt the same. She is a beautiful woman but very dangerous for Kivar.

As soon as I shut the door behind me a shape moves away from the plants and bows in front of me,startling me,"Your Majesty,"

Nicholas...disgusting weasel!

"Nicholas." I address him politely but coldly "Were you eavesdropping on my husband and me?"

I wouldn't be surprised if he had been and no doubt he is the one who tried to get me in to trouble with Kivar earlier on.

I feign innocence. "Me? Eavesdrop? That is a low accusation, your majesty, especially considering the way you are manipulating our great king." I sneer at her and make no effort to hide my hatred for her. I wonder if my eyes are as icy as I've been told they can be.

Damn it...I feel like slapping that smug look off his face!

"Me? Eavesdrop? That is a low accusation, your majesty, especially considering the way you are manipulating our great king."

I stare back at him coldly,"If you value your position in the palace Nicholas it will be wise if you do not speak to me in such a condescending and disrespectful manner.I am not a fool and see through your little plan.If any one is trying to manipulate Kivar,it is you.Don't think I do not know it was you who told him those lies about me."

My eyes flash and I grind my teeth in my anger. "Do not threaten me, Vilandra," I growl at her. "You have made the king a weak being, playing on his emotions and causing him to lose sight of his goals and duties to his people and to his throne. As for those lies I did nothing of the sort. Kivar may have blinders on where you are concerned but they will be removed and when they are, he will put you back in your place." I am only inches from her at this point. How dare this Antarian bitch threaten me!

He rattles on in that snake like manner of his but what really gets to me is his reference to Kivar's treatment of me,"...Kivar may have blinders on where you are concerned but they will be removed and when they are, he will put you back in your place."

I see red right then,"You bastard!" I scream at him and send him flying with a bolt of energy from my hand,something I haven't used in over two years.It wasn't very powerful but enough to knock him off his feet for a moment or two.

Some guards move to help him up but I shout at them,"No one touches him." Going over to him I look down at him with hate,"If you ever come so close to me ever again so help me god...I will not be held responsible for my actions."

I hear a commotion in the hallway and open the door to my office, finding Nickolas picking himself up off the floor with this look of pure hatred on his face. Vilandra is standing and shaking in rage. "If you ever come so close to me ever again so help me god...I will not be held responsible for my actions."

"What's going on here?" I demand. Nickolas' face quickly changes to one more passive and he bows before me but remains silent. I look to Lonnie. "Vilandra?"
