Getting into the car, I quietly listen to Isabel. "I made an appointment with my stylist and he's amazing.I have kinda already told him what I have in mind for you but he will add his input since he's the professional."
She really is serious about this. Nice to have her give so much attention and thoughts on me and ... I better not go there. She wants to give me a make over after all, this proves that she doesn't like me the way I'm now, no need to get my hopes up.
"SO do any of the guys know that you getting a make-over this evening?"
"No, I don't think so." I say with a chuckle. God the teasing Michael and Kyle would give me about it or the death glares Max would send my way. Okay, I'll probably sitll get that but ... it will be different then.
"Do I get to know what you have planned for me or will it be a surprise?" I ask, watching her profile as she drives.

I pull up to outside the salon just as he questions me,"Do I get to know what you have planned for me or will it be a surprise?"
I grin at him and open my door,"You'll find out soon enough.Come on,we're here."
Stepping on to the curb I wait for him and then link my arm through his,pulling him gently through the doors of the salon,"Jason...hey." I give him a kiss on his cheek "This is my friend Alex,the one I told you about."
"Aah of course...nice to meet you Alex.Come this way." he motions for us to follow him and then shows Alex a seat,"Have a seat.
I stand with Jason behind Alex,looking at him in the mirror while I talk to Jason,"See what I thought was that you could cut his hair shorter but keep it long enough in front so he can spike it up whenever he wants to.As for the beard I was thinking shave off the excess and make a french beard since he likes it so much though I'd prefer him clean shaven."
Jason chuckles when he notes the apparent distaste in my voice for facial hair,"Don't worry Isabel...and Alex.I know exactly what I need to do.Isabel you might even end up approvoing of the beard once I am through with him."
I raise my eyebrows and back away to sit in one of the empty seats for my pedicure and pick up a magazine while Jason begins working on Alex.

I'm still on a slight high from Isabel linking her arm through mine without any weirdness between us that I'm not feeling that jealous when she kisses that Jason dude. On the cheek, not on the mouth - poor fool doesn't know what he's missing.
I warily watch the two through the mirror as they discuss what to do about my hair and beard. Really nice of Isabel that she appreciates my liking of the beard but who knows, I might shave if off completely if she wants me to.

Of course, I could live with this situation too! Softly sighing, I settle down more comfortable, knowing that getting my hair done (god, I sound like a woman) aint my favourite thing in the world. And what the hell's a french beard anyway?

I purposely turn my back to Alex and Jason while I get a pedicure because I want to be surprised by the final outcome myself.
Every now and then I can hear Jason ask Alex something and Alex mumbling something back but I don't pay much attention and instead enjoy the foot massage I am currently receiving.
After about 45 minutes I hear Jason,"So what do you think?"
Turning around I see him holding up a big mirror behind Alex's head so that Alex can get a look at the back of his head.
I have to say my eyes nearly popped out of my head.
Who is this guy?!

Jason asks for my thoughts every now and then but I just let the man work the way he thinks is best - he's the professional after all.
Finally, after an eternity, he is down and shows me my new me. Well ... it is shorter, the beard is just a stumble anymore ... did I look that pale before?
Turning to Isabel, I see her staring at me like I'd grown a second head. Is it that bad? I didn't think it looked that horrible aside of ...
"Told ya I'd look like a teen again." I tell Isabel with a smile.

He gets up out of his chair rather hastily and offers to pay for both of us,"I'll pay for both of us. So, is there anything you still want?"
Now normally I wouldn't accept but since I engineered this whole new look for him,I'll accept it as a 'thank you'."Thanks for the offer but I think I'm done here for today."
Picking up my purse from my chair I head for the reception with Alex following me,"Do you like your new look?" I ask cautiously since he hasn't really commented on it yet

Walking after Isabel, only looking at the sway of her hips once, I take my wallet out, waiting for the bill.
"Do you like your new look?"
I almost run my hand through my hair before answering, but then remember that this might ruin the style, so I lower my hand again and smile at Isabel, "It certainly looks different than before, doesn't it?" I grin slightly as I remember Isabel's shocked face. "Yes, it looks ... good. I look years younger I guess and ... you did a good job, Isabel. Or well, Jason did. I might have to recommend you."
