Occ: Absolutely! What's happening Monday night? I forgot. Was it supposed to be the thing at Michael's? Or are we talking about Alex's make-over? LOL!

Just as I start to feel like I can't hold myself up any longer, I feel two strong arms lift me up and I suddenly feel like I'm floating. The next thing I know, there are no more people, I'm laying on something hard and uncomfortable, and most importantly, I can take in lungfuls of glorious cool night air. I feel someone's hands on me and I glance around to see Max kneeling over me. "Liz can you hear me? Liz, if you can hear me I need to you try and answer me ok? How much have you had to drink? Have you had anything your allergic to? Have you taken and sort of medication today?"

Huh. This must be what it's like to see a different side of Max...whatever his last name is. I blink a couple of times, trying calm down and figure out what happened. "I'm ok...I think. I didn't have but maybe 3 drinks. I think I was getting too warm out there on the dancefloor with all those people and I haven't eaten much today." I start to try to sit up when I realize that I'm laying on the ground outside the club.[/i]

I nod. She does have more colour in her cheeks now. It could well be that she hasn't eaten very much today. But I can tell you one thing I know for sure...
She definitely killed the mood.

God damn it, cant I ever catch a break?!

"That's probably it" I say as I sit up straight beside her. "You shouldn't drink on an empty stomach in that heat" I say in a very doctor-like manner. God damn it, this is un-fucking believeable. Just my ruddy luck!

I grin a little weakly at his tone. Suddenly, Max the playboy has become Max the doctor and I like this side of him. "Thank you, Dr. Max, for saving me," I tease and I start to stand up, still a little shaky and wobbly. I have just made it to my feet when I realize that I stood up too fast after almost passing out and start to lose my footing again.

She gets up way to fast and of course starts to fall again. Quickly I put my arms out and catch her. "You should probably not stand up for a moment... perhaps it might be best if you go home...were you waiting for anyone or...?" I ask. I would offer to drive her but I probably have to get a taxi now. But I could get a taxi with her...and be driven crazy by the fact I see her house but don't go in.

This day SUCKS.

I shake my head as my hands tighten on his arms slightly. It's kind of a nice feeling to be held by him. "No, I'm not really waiting on anyone. I shared a ride with Maria here but we usually do and then ride home separately." I didn't feel a need to explain why we usually ride home separately. I can tell that he's disappointed at what all has happened and I have the strangest urge to giggle at it. Biting it back, I say, "We could share a taxi home if you feel you shouldn't drive...my treat to thank you for getting me out of there when I almost passed out on you."

ARRRRRRRGH!!!

Hit me over the head why don't you! This is the WORST friggin night of my life! First Alex hits on my sister, then they gave me a floor show and now I find a perfect girl and what happens? She faints and I have to watch her go in her house and not invite me up.
Kill me now!!!! Someone?! Please!

I smile, "Thanks. I'll just need to make sure someone moves the car to somewhere I can pick up tommorow morning" I say. "One sec." I see a valet and get him to move the car. He nods and goes off to do it.

I must be a SUCKER for agony!

The guy comes back a moment later and hands me back my keys. "Well I'm ready to go when you are" I say with a smile, but really wishing that we were both going back to the same damn place!!!

We climb into a taxi and I give the driver my address. As we start moving, I pull out my cell phone to call Maria but I get her voicemail. "She must still be on the dancefloor," I murmur to myself. Then I smile at Max. "Listen, I'm sorry if I ruined your plans for the evening. I really appreciate what you did for me back there and I'd love to make it up to you." I pull out a piece of paper and a pen and write down my number. "Here, this is my number. Maybe we can meet up for lunch sometime this week or something. I'm also throwing a party on Friday and I'm known for my parties. You're welcome to come if you want."

I really hope he will. He seems like a nice guy and I know that he's just looking for some fun but I and my wallet both hope he'll call. I don't want this to be over just yet.

I watch as she pulls out a piece of paper and a pen and she writes down something.
"Here, this is my number. Maybe we can meet up for lunch sometime this week or something. I'm also throwing a party on Friday and I'm known for my parties. You're welcome to come if you want."

I smile at her, "I'll see if I can swing by" I say as I take the piece of paper off her. And before I know it were pulling up at her house. "Wow...nice place" I comment. I smile at her and say, "Listen, dont worry about it, Im a doctor, thats what I do. But it was nice meeting you Liz... and maybe we can test how good you are at things another time" I say with a wink.

(ooc: Im going to sleep now. So I noticed people seem to be drawing to a close so if thats what people wanna do while Im sleeping, as long as Liz says goodbye to Max we should be algood. Of course if the scene continues both Max and I are fine with that too. Either way, Ive written mt post like for what everout come

I open the door and start to step out before turning back around and deciding to give him a little incentive to call me. I lean close and kiss him lightly and teasingly before jumping out and moving to the front door. "Night, Max," I call seductively and wave before going inside.

We finish off the nachoes and chat and I'm really liking spending time with her. Tess is a great girl. I finally glance down at my watch and realize that it's gotten really late. I've had a total of 2 beers tonight and that was several hours ago now. I think I'll be fine to drive. Just in case, I have one of those self-tests for alcohol levels in my car. I always carry it. I don't want to hurt anyone on the road due to impaired judgment from my drinking.

"Hey, it's getting kind of late. Do you need a ride home?" I ask Tess.

OOC-Monday night is Alex's make-over but if you want,after the make-over may be there can be this surprise get together so that the rest can see his new look or something?May be Isabel can drive him home and every one is there or only the guys being there,I'm not sure what.
