occ: Does anyone know the song, "Get Your Way" by Jamie Cullum? That's the song that originally inspired this fic. I was listening to it when I came up with the idea and I think it just fit the way I wanted Max and Liz to be. If you don't know it, look it up and see how you like it. It's kind of jazzy, rocking, fun, flirty music. Also, I meant to ask if anyone minds if we change the rating. I meant to change this one as well as the one from "Alliances" but I forgot to ask on this one. Like I said over there, I had ADULT and MATURE mixed up in my head. Is that ok?

I walk back over to the bar and sit down again. I grin as I notice that several of my nachoes are gone. "A girl after my own heart. I can't stand it when girls don't eat anything real. Life's too short to not enjoy your food," I tell her. I take a couple nachoes myself and pop them into my mouth, rolling my eyes into the back of my head and exaggerating my "yummy" noises. "See?" I say as I grin at her.

He leads me onto the dancefloor once again and wraps his arms around my waist. "Lets see how you do with the slower numbers" he says with a wink and the deep rumble of his voice causes delicious shivers to run up and down my spine. I raise one eyebrow and smirk up at him. "I do just fine with any number," I tell him in a low sexy tone.

His hands on my waist are putting my senses on overload. I try to keep a little space between our bodies to keep some perspective but I feel my arms slide up to his neck of their own accord. The smell of his cologne is intoxicating. It's gonna be tough not to just take this guy home and explore his obviously toned body.

Occ: yeah, see that's where the problem is for me. I'm not exactly sure what's considered MATURE or ADULT when it comes to the sex scenes. That's why I'd rather put it on the safer side and rate it higher.

I take her plate and dump what's left on it on top of the nachoes. "There! Now we can finish it all off together." I love her little giggle. It's really cute. I wonder what she thinks about me...am I just a doufus or would she want to go out with me? I'll have to remember to get her number before I leave. Or maybe she'll just agree to go home with me.

There's a small space between us that I'm itching to fill, and I feel her arms slide up around my neck. Hmm... She smells of strawberries... I think when I get her into bed I'm gonna die and go to heaven...scratch that... probably hell because of my womanising ways...oh well!

I move my hands slightly lower so they sit just above her butt. I whisper in her ear, "Your right... your doing fine...but lets see how you do with this..." I move in so we're practically touching. Hmm....this feel so SO good. "Mmmm, your goof at this too...tell me Liz...What else are you good at?" I say in a husky voice.

He moves in closer and I feel a little lightheaded. Our bodies are almost flush now and I can't seem to find my footing on this relationship. Damn! It's no wonder he's a playboy...he's good at it! That's the thought that helps me find my balance again and I smile up at him. Well, I'm good at what I do too. "You'd be amazed at how many things I'm considered...talented in," I whisper suggestively into his ear. Then I pull back and stare into those liquid honey-colored eyes and almost melt into a puddle of goo. Ok, so how do I get out of this one and still leave him wanting more?

Oh yeah....I'm in! I smile at her as she looks into my eyes before leaning in and capturing her lips in a passionate kiss. I feel the kiss in my toes. It's deep and... wow what a headrush. Our tongues collide together and all I want is more. Eventually I pull away and say, "Well your talented in that.. maybe you could come back to my place and show me if your talented in drinking coffee? Or tea or a alcoholic beverage if you prefer..." II smile a dazzling smile at her. "What do you say Liz? Can you spare more time with a doctor...maybe you'd let me study you later..." I say with a wink.

He kisses me and suddenly, there's nothing else but us in the whole world. It's electrifying...it's orgasmic...it's totally not a promise of a long term relationship. DAMNIT! But god what he can do with that mouth and tongue! I start to panic a little at his suggestion. I can't sleep with him on the first night! He'll disappear from my life and I'll lose him...I mean the bet! Suddenly, all the alcohol, the loud music, the dancing, and worst of all the crowds are starting to get to me. I feel my breath quicken and it's not just due to my attraction to Max. The room feels like it's spinning and I start to sway a little as I start to see dark spots in front of my eyes. I look up at Max and he looks a little concerned. "I can't breathe," I try to tell him but I'm not sure he heard me because my voice sounds very small and very far away. I didn't have that much to drink! What's wrong with me?

I watch her reaction, expecting a simple "Yes" or something...but what I get shocks the hell out of me. Her breathing starts to quicken, and I'm wondering whether that was a reaction to me when she says.
"I can't breathe," She looks like she's about to collapse. How much has she had to drink?! Quickly I grab her and carry her in my arms as quick as I can to the nearest exit. I quickly get outside and lay her down on the pavement.

"Liz can you hear me?" I say as I check her heart rate. "Liz, if you can hear me I need to you try and answer me ok? How much have you had to drink? Have you had anything your allergic to? Have you taken and sort of medication today?"

OOC: I don't want to be a pain in the ass (with this rating, I can say 'ass', can't I?) but could we skip ahead to Monday evening after the club scenes are done?
