I had forgotten how good it felt to be held by him and rest my cheek against his chest and close my eyes,"Maybe we should walk the rest of the way. Unless you're still too shaken up, then I could walk and hold onto the reins of the horses if you want to ride Red Lips back."
Breathing calmly now I let my arms encircle his waist,"There's no need to be embarrassed. Things like this happen. I'm just glad you aren't hurt."
Looking up at him I smile in an effort to reassure him,"No it's okay I think I'll ride back.That was my mistake." Leaving his side I get back atop Red Lips while Kivar mounts Thunderbolt,slowly we make our way to the stables

When we reach the stables, I slide off Thunderbolt quickly and throw the reins to the waiting groom. "Take good care of him, Otis. He got a good run today." I then move to help Vilandra down, and she slides down into my arms, her hands on my shoulders. "If you're sure you're ok, maybe you should rest a little before dinner. The kitchen should have it ready to serve at the usual time."
I see Otis leading Thunderbolt away towards his stall when I remember the dogs. "Otis, the queen and I bought a couple of puppies when we were out today from a man who called himself Logan. Will you please make sure they arrive and let us know?"
"Very good, your majesty," the old groom nods.
I start to lead Vilandra toward the palace. "Are you going to rest before dinner?"

"Are you going to rest before dinner?" he's behaving like I nearly died or something,which in retrospect I could have but I didn't
"Kivar...I'm fine!" I say giving his hand a squeeze "I don't need to rest.I'm not that fragile a being you know."
As we walk in to my chambers I move to the bathroom to freshen up a little,"I'll be only a minute,make yourself comfortable." I motion towards the chaise lounge so that he can lay back a bit
Once away from Kivar's eyes,I look in the mirror and close my eyes for a moment,thanking god for not letting the worst happen.Taking some cold water in my hands I splash my face and neck with it after bunching my hair up in lose knot on top of my head.
As I walk out I see him sprawled out on the lounge,"Kivar if you want I can send a message to the chef to prepapre a snack for you before dinner.Dinner is still some time away."
OOC-I hope it's okay by you that I placed K on the lounge,if you had something else in mind let me know and I will edit.

Vilandra might not think it's such a big deal what happened today but all I keep seeing over and over is her heading for that hedge, looking back at me and laughing instead of watching where she was headed. The odds that she would have been killed might not be that great but she could have been seriously injured.
I make myself as comfortable as possible on the chaise and try to think of something else. She comes back out of the bathroom and her hair is up and she looks fresh again. I can't stop my eyes from roving over her face, her neck, her beautifully sculpted body. I barely catch her words, "Kivar if you want I can send a message to the chef to prepapre a snack for you before dinner.Dinner is still some time away."

I pull her back against my chest so that her legs come up and she's stretched out on the chaise between my legs. I run one of my hands up and down her arm while the other one caresses her face. "I can't imagine anyone else I'd rather be stuck with," I murmur honestly. I kiss her cheek and her neck, drinking in the scent of her.
God, how I want this woman! I can't imagine why now I ever hurt her like I did. I hate the thought of ever living without her. She leans her head back slightly against my shoulder and I wonder at the fact that she fits against me so well. "You're so beautiful, my Lonnie."

As I look in the mirror and flex my muscles I hear Tess say that she will probably leave for Taggora in a few days to visit her brother and Isabel.
"Kyle, you need to eat breakfast before you get to work. I don't want you getting hungry when you have to be at your best."
I grin at my reflection and shout back,"Yes mummy!And you get that message off to Taggora quickly."

Her hands are moving on my thighs and it's almost more than I can take. It'll be obvious pretty quickly the direction my thoughts have taken. I can feel myself getting hard by the moment. "I promise you'll never have to miss that feeling again," I whisper in her ear, lightly tracing the outline of her ear with my tongue. My breathing is getting shallower, my heart pounding. I wonder if she is as affected by this moment as I am.
I kiss her ear, her neck, allowing my tongue to dart out a little so as to taste her skin.

I can feel his heart beating rapidly against my back so I turn slightly so that I am facing him and cup his cheek with my hand and kiss him lightly on his lips,my own heart beating so fast it feels like it will explode.
