I ponder the question for a moment but can't come up with anything I like right away,"I'm not sure.I'll think it iver for a day or two." I say and hand the puppy back to one of the children

"Come Kivar,let's go.I do like the name you've picked for your dog." Having said that I mount Red Lips once more and wait for Kivar to get back atop Thunderbolt

I remount my horse and turn towards Vilandra. "Do you want to continue through the market, my love? Or did you want to ride somewhere else?" I am honestly in the mood for a good run on Thunderbolt about now. Maybe she'll feel up to racing me.

"Do you want to continue through the market, my love? Or did you want to ride somewhere else?" he asks as he remounts Thunderbolt

"Not really...let's just head back to the palace." I say and we ride along in silence for a while but when we come to the hill from which we can see the palace I get an idea

Grinning at him I take a firmer gold of my reins,"Last one home gets no dessert." I shout and take off on Red Lips urging her to go faster because I know Thunderbolt will not have any difficulty in catching her.He is a race horse after all.

We start heading for the palace when suddenly she says, "Last one home gets no dessert." She darts forward and I grin and laugh as I take off after her. Red Lips is fast and light but Thunderbolt loves to run and is a race horse. He hates to be left behind in a race. We quickly gain speed and catch up to Red Lips and Lonnie. She sees this and urges Red Lips forward and the horse takes off with another burst of speed. I laugh and urge Thunderbolt on.

"I'm not going to let you win in the end today, Lon!" I shout good naturedly. I close the distance between us rapidly.

Damn that horse of his!
I hate losing!!Must think of something that will get me the win.

"I'm not going to let you win in the end today, Lon!" Kivar yells
Looking over at him I yell back,"Not even if I say I'll give you back rub when we reach home." Hah...that should work!

A back rub?! My manhood starts to swell again at the thoughts of Lonnie's hands on my bare skin. That's so unfair! I pull back on the reins just slightly, allowing Thunderbolt to still catch up but not pass Red Lips. I am only a half a horse's length behind her now and she looks back to see where I am.

I grin at her until I notice the brush ahead. "Vilandra! Look out!" I shout. I know that Red Lips can clear it by jumping but Lonnie could still fall off or cause the horse to stumble if she isn't paying attention. I hope that I called her attention to it in time for her to clear it well and keep her seat.

I laugh at the look on Kivar's face after he hears my offer but suddenly it changes to one of concern,"Vilandra! Look out!"

Turning my head to look in front I gasp loudly and pull on the reins instinctively to slow Red Lips down,my heart beating wildly.Luckily she comes to a halt.

"Oh my god...that was so stupid of me." I say breathlessly

I pull up alongside them and immediately jump off of Thunderbolt. I run over to Red Lips and look up at Vilandra. "Are you alright?" I ask breathlessly. "You're not hurt?" I think my heart jumped up into my throat at the thought that something might happen to my Lonnie.

Kivar jumps off the stead and rushes over to me,"Are you alright?...You're not hurt?" I can see the fear in his eyes

I shake my head and slip off Red Lips feeling really embarrassed,"Just a little shaken up.I was stupid not to look where I was going.If you hadn't called out I would had a royal toss." I say shakily

I pull her into my arms quickly but gently, looking her over from head to toe to confirm her words of reassurance. When I see that she's really ok, just shaken up, I hold her close and sigh in relief. "Oh, thank the creator! You scared me to death!"

I look up and see that we aren't far from the palace stables now. "Maybe we should walk the rest of the way. Unless you're still too shaken up, then I could walk and hold onto the reins of the horses if you want to ride Red Lips back." I can feel her shaking slightly. I hug her again and tell her, "There's no need to be embarrassed. Things like this happen. I'm just glad you aren't hurt."
