"Well, Alex, despite Max threatening bodily harm, I think the chick dug you. It sure looked like you two hit it off from here."

I refrain from telling Kyle it was all just show and only shrug at his words, not really in the mood to talk about it.

"You wanna come with us or you gonna hang out here?"

"No, I'll head over to Max, try to talk to him while he's still partly sober." I reply, glancing at the bar. Getting up, I glance at the other two, "Have fun and behave! If I don't make it out of her alive, I'd like white roses on my grave."

Isabel

As I make my way back to the girls I touch my lips briefly,still feeling them slightly swollen from that incredible kiss.Wow...Where did he learn to kiss like that?!Barely do I sit down and reach for my drink when Liz starts the interrogation,"It sure looked like you found someone nice. Wanna tell us about him?"

Taking a sip of my drink I let it go down my throat slowly before shaking my head slightly,"He is nice but there's nothing to tell." I reply and lick my lips absent-mindedly "I'll probably never see him again after tonight." My gaze wanders over to where Alex is and I see him heading for the bar.Now why is he going over to Max?

I smile at Isabel's reaction. Seems like she really does like him. Yup, definitely gonna have to help those two out. I think it's about time for another one of my famous parties. I frown a little as I try to remember daddy's schedule. Is he supposed to be out of town next weekend?

I watch Alex walk to the bar to talk to Max and I turn to Michael and say, "Ok, if I ever aggravate Alex for being a yellow coward again, remind me of tonight. He's got some balls on him if he's deliberately moving to talk to Max right now." I shake my head and chuckle a little. "Come on."

I lead the way across the upper floor to where Liz is sitting with her friends. Michael follows and I can't help checking them all out as we get closer. All four of them are absolute beauties in their own way. When I glance at the tall blonde Alex had been dancing with and kissing, I notice her lips are slightly swollen and I grin.

"Hello, ladies," I greet them.

I look up as someone greets us. "Kyle! I wondered if you were here. How are you?" I ask in a flirty tone. I stand up and move to give him a hug and a peck on the cheek.

He squeezes me and then backs off, holding onto one of my hands. I turn to my friends. "These are my best friends in the whole world. This is Isabel, Maria, and Tess." I wave toward each of them as I mention their names and watch Kyle's reaction. I'm sure he'll have one of them picked out but I'll have to protect them a little. He's a good guy but he's a bit too much of a player and I don't want any of my friends to get hurt.

Liz introduces her friends and I nod at each one of them. When she finally introduces the small blonde that had caught my eye earlier, I let my eyes linger just a bit on her. It's hard to tell in this lighting but I think her eyes are blue.

"Nice to meet you all. This is my friend, Michael," I say to introduce him.

ALEX

Reaching Max, I motion to the barkeeper that I want the same Max has. So far, Max doesn't look as if he wants to hit me, he's just ignoring me right now.
Paying my drink, I take a sip, my eyebrows shooting up in surprise, guess Max really won't be driving tonight if he's drinking the hard stuff.

"Listen Max, I know I'm not really your favourite person right now, but I just wanted to say that your sister just wanted to tease you a bit for not being around that much lately and I did it because you were so damn secretive about Isabel. I admit, after you started your own live show, things got a bit out of hand but ... she's your sister, I know she's off limits."

Sad, but true.

Wonder if he'll just walk away, leaving me standing here like an idiot or if he'll start talking.

OT Note: Hey, everyone! Just in case you missed the note on the "Vacationing" thread, madroswellfan (Mel) will be going out of town and will not be back for a while. So that means that there won't be many "Max" posts. She has said that I can post for Max while she's gone and catch her up when she gets back but I don't want her to get too far behind. So here's the deal. I think we'll just slow things down a bit. I'm not putting the RP on hold or anything but maybe we should only try to post around “Max” and only once a day at most so that she doesn’t get left too far behind. How does that sound to everyone? Fair?

Alex. I decide to stubbornly ignore him. Im not one to hit people, especially not my friends.

I listen quietly as I continue drinking my drink. I don't know what to reply. Im still WAY to angry at the pair of them. I put my drink down hard on the table, but not so that I slam it. "Alex, Im not in a reasonable mood right now. I didn't say hello to her because I hoped she wouldn't notice me so I didn't meet up with her again in a bar. I asked you to stay away from her. And sure, if anyones gonna be with my sister, I would have picked you."

I look at him, "But you still went against my wishes at the time."

I look back at my glass and mutter, "Just leave me alone Alex, I'll talk to you when Im sober."

"Fine." I say with a nod, grabbing my drink and heading away from the bar. I spot Kyle and Michael with Isabel and her friends. I'm not sure if I should head over or not, Max is already pissed off because I talked to his sister once if I head over now to her again ... well, ... where else should I go? And Max did say that he thought I'd be good enough for Isabel ... kinda.

Slightly nervous, I head over to the group, hoping that Isabel and I aren't the topic of their discussion and ... oh, look who's there!

"Hey Liz!" I greet the small brunette, raising my drink in greetings.
