"Yeah mom, we were just driving around in my new car, nothing illegal or anything, god," I tell her calmly, even though my heart is racing.

Maria tells me where they are. Just then, Leo and Lor walk in. Maria gives them the third degree. We are all worried about our kids. Now I now how my parents must have felt when we would take long road trips to the middle of no where. You know what they say, "Teenagers will be teenagers."

Leo and Lor try to explain the situation, and I can tell Maria isn't buying it. She surely doesn't look in the mood for any of this. I wonder furiously in my mind what in the world is going on here. I really don't believe all of this!

"So who else skipped?" I ask Maria curiously.

"Look, Sarah, unless there is something you're not telling me, this is not your fault." I reply. I look at her for a moment and take in her expression.

"Is there something you're not telling me?" I question.

As soon as class ends, I fill Nina in on every detail of what happened today. It's around lunch time when Nina and I go to the gym to meet her friends. I don't know why we had to go during lunch, though. I really thought her friend's brother could wait. I'm not really in the mood to chat with any body who thinks his muscles are bigger than his brains. I'm not really jealous. No...

"I told Stacy about the fight and she's the one that told the guys." I tell him. Stacy was a cheerleading friend of mine and I thought that she would keep it to herself, but I should of known better, for she's the gossip queen.

Wow. I'm glad I didn't get pulled into any of that stuff. That's at least an advantage of being an only child no one else to get you into trouble.

I smile at Jake being nice and sociable.

"I'm Xander.", He nods at Jake and flashes a killer smile.

"Well....maybe Jake and Xander can sit together at the game tonight, What do ya say Jake?", I ask and look over at him.

I smile at Jake and talk for a little bit with some of my friends before checking my watch.

"Wow....time flys when your having fun, lunch time is almost over.....it was nice meeting you Xander, maybe I'll see ya at the game?", I flash a smile at him and start walking back towards the school with Jake.

"So what do you think of Xander, Jake?", I ask as we keep walking.
