Now, in another life, Zan has to return his throne and Kivana Eli needs to be reborn. Things will change, events will take place that will not be able to looked away. At the final match, for the peace Antar, it will be Kivana Eli's and Khivar's blood that will set things right . . . and set the over again.
After Just One, join me in the sequeal Just One: The Weight of the World, where time will be turned back and Ellie will be given another chance to fix things. How will she do it? You'll have to see.
Author's Note 1: Max, Michael, Isabel and Tess exist. They know each other. Nasedo is gone. Zan, Rath, Lonnie and Ava are alive and well and living in New York. Actually, Zan is supposed to be dead since this is after the ep in New York city. After that, it's all pretty much going a different path. My idea has been living long in me but you it refers to the final episode in season 3 where the agents put Max, Michael, Isabel and Liz together as the alien forth.
The girl in the banner, in the center (Kate Beckinsale) is the way my character looks at her essence, as Kivana Eli. I just thought it would be better if I put it to help out. Kevin Smith looks like Christian Kane; Khivar looks like Hayden Christensen in Star Wars Episode III.
Special Note: The original charecter death from the show will take place. I must say, the end is hard, filled with death. Take the end at your risk or perhaps think of the sequal that will be happy at the end.
Prologue: It's strange how your life can be changed in one event. One day, you're just a girl in Roswell, dating the most popular guy and just being you; the next you get shot and your life flashes before your eyes; the next a boy brings you to life and you learn about a whole different specie and you grow to love your savior. But most of all, you get confused when you start to learn that you're no longer alone in this world. And by that, I don't mean friends, boyfriends or parents, because I've always had that. Let me tell you a story. A story about me and how my life changed for good. This whole thing started about 9 months ago when a very special person entered my life, completing me. My nama is Kivana Eli Xothorn-Amayx and after everything I've been through, I can say for sure that I am a fully grown woman making my own choices, may the be right or may the be wrong. Liz Parker died and now, I'm living my life they way it should be. Let me tell you how this whole mess started.
Chapter 1: It was perhaps dawn. Liz's alarm clock was set to go off in three hours, since she had the morning shift. She slept like a baby at that point, with her hair all messy. The sleeping part was not a problem. The dreaming was. For a few nights now, she had the same kind of dream over and over. She would dream she was a different girl, living in Manhattan with her single dad, John. His was a big shot lawyer and she was the hottest chick on the block, or that's what she thought, each time she stepped in front of her mirror. This was very often. In her dream, the day was incredibly warm. She got up bring and early and took a shower, brushed her teeth and combed her hair, and still she was done by 7 a.m.; she got dressed in the weird outfit ever, which Liz would never ever put on in reality. A jeans and a colored top. The jeans were very low and her top was very up. Her belly was completely exposed. But she didn't seam to care. Her long brown hair and her brown eyes seamed to go great with it. Not to mention her high heals. Liz turned in her dream a few times. She couldn't stop herself from wearing all that. After that, she watched herself go down stairs and kiss her father John, who seamed to young to be anyone's, let alone her dad.
''You going out?'' – she heard him ask her as she reached into the fridge and got her some juice. She took a sip from the bottle as she looked back at him. – ''Yea. Why?'' – She asked him and took a few more sips.
''Maybe a change of wardrobe would do you good, Val?'' – she told her and looked at her exposed belly for a bit. She put the bottle on the table and her hands on her hips. – 'Look, mister, I don't tell you which bibbos you can't bring home so you don’t tell me what to wear!! You're not my father!!' – she yelled at him like she was the queen of the entire Earth. Maybe she felt like that at that moment. He looked tired and beated at that point. – ''Val, I don't mean to. . . I'm sorry. It's just that, here, you are my daughter. According to all earth laws. And I just don't. . . I don't think it's appropriated for someone of your status dress as that.'' – He tried to explain but she just rolled her eyes.
Liz could see the look on his face and knew that he was waiting for more yelling but Val, the girl that was surpassingly her, just took off for the doors, took her coat and ran out of the place. As she was out of the apartment, she saw to men at the door. As she went for the elevator, one of them followed her. He went in with her. – ''I don't need bodyguards! – she growled at him. At first he ignored her but he knew that she would probably continue if he didn't say something. – ''Milady, we have orders from your brother to protect you. Please, do not disobey them or we will be in trouble.'' – he told her weakly. He knew that he was no match for her. She looked at him, with sharp eyes. It was strange for Liz to look at all this. One minute, she was Val, and the next, she was someone else in the elevator. Val spoke again. – ''You're lucky I don't turn your heard for a full circle. In a human's body, you wouldn't survive!'' – Pausing, she looked at him – ''Fine, but you better not be seen. And do not interrupt me if I stop to talk to anyone! Is that clear!? – The question was asked but it was an order. She only watched him nod his head.
The elevator stopped at the ground floor. As the doors opened, she rushed out of it and through the lobby, the body guard behind her. As she got out, she bumped into a man. She fell of her feet and so did she. She looked at him before she started yelling and stopped herself. His eyes, his face, she knew this man. She knew so much about him just by looking at him. She could see by his face that he knew her but unlike her, he could never know who she was. Those memories were erased , she thought to herself as he reached his hand to help her up. She took it.
''I'm real' sorry.'' – he told her. It was clear that his speaking manners were not at his best. – ''I'm Zan.'' – he told her, clearly to be polite but Eliza already knew that. Liz could tell that from her face. She reached let loose from his hand. – ''It's alright, Zan. I'm Val.'' – she told him but his attention seamed to be turned to the tall building behind her. – ''T'is yours?'' – he asked her. She nodded, as he turned his look to her. He wondered if he could actually be him. He seamed more turned towards the material the the girl, her, and it wasn't the way she remembered him. But he shortly returned his gaze to her. – ''You wana go out?'' – he asked her.
''We are out. – she said with a gentle smile. – But how does no sound, unless you're busy with this building?- he shook his head to his question and he showed her the way. The walked a bit and then the stopped to a hot dog stand. She actually stopped. She nodded towards it but he kinda made a bit of a guilty face. She knew he was broke, but she wasn't. – ''My treat this time.''- he didn't seam to have any problem with that. The dream went on for Liz. Val and Zan went to her apartment back and John wasn't there. After that, she told him she wanted to sleep with him. When Liz realized that they were actually sleeping together, Val and Zan; what seamed like her and Max, she woke up. She opened her eyes and looked around. She was in her room. With a dream as confusing at it could possibly be.
She then realized that she was not alone. Someone was walking around her balcony. She got out of bed, in her shorts and simple night top and walked to her window. It was Max. He kept walking back and forth, saying things she couldn't understand. - '' Max? '' – she called out his name, which startled him at first. She looked up at him. He seamed confused. Nervous and what not. - ''What's going on, Max?'' – she asked him. He then sat on the floor and leaned on the wall next to the window. Liz could now only see a bit of him. – ''It's too confusing. All that world out side of Roswell. New York. Rath and Lonnie.'' – he told her what bothered him. He wasn't even sure if he was supposed to be telling her all that. Why would it even worry her, he asked himself.
''I know. And it's not just you. Ever since. . . Ava told me that I. . . and when I came to New York, with her help. . . and when I almost say you die. . . it was awful. I never wana see that again.'' – she answered him, how she felt. A voice inside her head kept screaming at her to tell him her dream. She didn't understand it but she hoped he would. If someone could, he would. His put his palm on the floor. She looked at it and put her hand over it. For the first second, they stood like that and then he pulled away. They were beginning to be friends again but he still wasn't ready to trust her. Not after what happened in her room. Or what she needed him to believe.
He looked at her with a smile. She was still a good friend to him. He couldn't get himself to touch her hand again as he pulled back as there was still a fresh image in his head. It took place in this very room, to his very eyes. He tried to ignore it but it was always somehow there. He watched her face. He knew she was thinking about it too. It seamed like forever passed as he looked at her, at her beautiful face. She was a bit sad but her beauty was so clear as the fresh day. - ''Did I wake you?'' – he merely asked her and she shook her head to her question. – ''No. But you're definitely the reason why I didn't just turn to the other side and closed by yes again.'' – she blushed. Was she flirting with him? This couldn't, just couldn't be. She watched his face as he smiled again and simply said – ''Really? Well, was it at least a good dream?'' – he asked her. She blushed harder. The other reason why she was woke up because it was becoming too much of a good dream. – ''Hm. . . I think you have to pay for that kind of information, mister!'' – she told him. She was ready to hit herself with something. She was flirting with Max Evans alright. And she could name three reasons why shouldn't. Alright, she could name just two and the second one wasn't real a 'no flirting' rule.
He turned his head again. It wasn't ready for anything like this. – ''I have to go.'' – he told her and quickly got up. She watched him walk to the stairs and as he went down, their eyes met one more time and it reminded her how much she loved him. It reminded him of that night again. He just couldn't let go. Could he?
