I let the tears flow down my cheeks. "No Max. It was a huge mistake. Im so...so sorry"
I watch him pace. Hes going to torture me now...pacing around before telling me to go to hell.
I stare at him hoping this isnt the last I see of him.

I run a hand through my hair and will myself not to cry. I am a whitelighter...a protector...I can't cry.

"Why did you do it?" I ask. Even I can hear the vunerability in my tone.

What did I expect.

I break down in sobs not knowing what else to say.
Why is he refusing to show any emotion? Im so scared of what he might do...
