I shut the connection down completely and begin working on a way to destroy it
Sebastian told me once that it can be done but requires tremendous will power..the way I am feeling right now I don't exactly need will power...hatred should do the trick
Slowly I start recalling all the times Alex had told me he loved me only to leave me for Maria over and over...dammit why didn't I see it...it's like a pattern
The images and memories go through my mind at a tremendous pace...as each one passes my emotions build to a crescendo and I focus them on the connection urging them to destroy it...come on
Finally I feel it weakening...sweat begins building on my forehead...this is taking more out of me than I expected

We both look at each other the silence building between us.
The hurt in his hardened features shows me he saw Micheal in my kiss.
"We will akways love each other Alex ,but we are both in love with two wonderful people. Let's not give up on love twice. Go to her and tell her the truth. That you love mr but you are in love with her."
" Thank you. If I had never loved you I doubt that I would be able to carry the feelings I have for Michael. You taught me that it is okay to love. For that I will be forever grateful."

Michael makes up his mind about whether or not he's coming with me...not such a hard decision man...something must be bothering him..I think I'll give Caly a call while I wait for his royal highness to decide
Taking my cell phone out of my jacket I dial her number...good thing I remembered to take it from her earlier on...I wait for her to Answer

Abit startled by her tone I reply after a few seconds "Hey...it's me Remus...you okay...you sound pissed."

"I'm fine...in fact I AM MORE THAN FINE...when are you getting back here?...I am waiting outside your room."
Remus
Listening to her hysterical tone I know things are far from okay "We'll be there in 10 minutes tops." I tell her before ending the call
Turning to Michael I say "I'm going...Caly sounds upset and pissed off as hell.You coming?"
Without waiting for his answer I walk

Refocussing my energy I set about destroying the connection..."Unnghh!" My head feels like it's going to explode...all of a sudden I feel it...like a rubber band snapping in two,one part coming back to hit me with a force in my chest
"Shit!!" I swear softly,rubbing my temples,feeling out of breath
It's done!...I feel horrible and empty.

I laugh at the look on Remus' face when I tell him about Isabel, Sebastian, and Charlotte, and the rest of what's been going on, but our fun is interrupted when he calls Isabel and she answers, sounding extremely upset. Remus turns to me, a little worried. "I'm going...Caly sounds upset and pissed off as hell.You coming?"
"Yeah, I'm coming, but what's wrong?" I ask, following Remus. If Alex has done something else to hurt her, I'll have to break that stupid truce and then go break something of his. He's really getting on my nerves.
We walk for a few minutes, heading towards the motel that I had stayed in, when I realize something. We don't have to walk.
"Remus, if we need to get there faster, we can always shimmer."

I unlock my door quickly before putting my hand under Isabel's arm and puling her to her feet
"Come on in babe...tell us what happened." I try to sound as soothing as possible but I've never really been good at the whole emotional thing
I look over her head at Michael for any sign that he might know what's going on but his dead pan expression gives away nothing

"What an asshole!!!" I curse loudly,taking one of her hands in mine I make little circles on the back of her hand with my thumb
