Title: Welcome To Reality

Summary: Let's put it this way, Liz is 'Ava' and the others are the same. Tess will make an appearence, so be forewarned. When Liz meets the 'other's including Max a.k.a Zan, will she be able to fulfill her destiny as the Nasedo says or will complications arrive? How will she over come her fears?

Prologue:

I never imagined life could be this hard on Earth....

Elizabeth Parker looked out the passanger window at the so-called scenery as they entered the city limits of Roswell, New Mexico. Sighing she turned up the air conditioning earning a glare from her father. "Elizabeth, what did we discuss in Los Angeles?"

"I don't get it, why Roswell?" She asked ignoring him. "Home of the aliens, if only people knew...they make mockery of the crash..."

Nasedo frowned, "Be that as it may, we would not want to ruin their cozy existence of the extraterrestrial. As I told you before humans do not take to kindly to those who are...different."

Liz shook her head, "And the other royals live in this enviorment...hiding who they really are and not using their powers?"

"Every day since the crash...But I told you it's by choice. They like the human world, they have what humans call friends and family."

"Family? Friends?" Liz asked herself. Nasedo had told her when he found her on the side of the road to call him father for her own protection. She had never really known the meaning of family nor friends. "Are these dangerous?"

Nasedo laughed, "To our mission yes...they interfere by standing in the way, causing you to second guess what's really important..."

"The mission..." Liz said nodding, "But, how will I blend in and get close to Ma...Zan and the others?" She asked.

She had studied all the pictures Nasedo had given her but didn't think that she would be able to love this so called Max. After all he didn't know a single thing about her or his destiny. She felt saddened to go to Roswell and interrupt the life they had grown to know.

Zan and Vilandra had grown up as brother and sister under the names of Max and Isabel Evans. They were close and lived with wonderful parents or so she assumed.

Rath had grown up in a trailer with a foster father Hank under the name of Michael Gurien. She found out that he had what humans called a girlfriend Maria Deluca.

They also had friends, Alex Whittman and Tess Hardning. For some reason she felt theartened by Tess when she saw the pictures. She noticed that she always was sitting close to Max or looking at him with love in her eyes.

"Do not fear child, you'll blend in well. Do just as I said and you'll be fine. It's important that you do not fail. It's our mission, in our code to return home." Nasedo looked at her with determination in his eyes, "For you to return home pregnant with Zan's child so we can once again rule Antar." He said smiling evily.

Liz shook with fear, "But..." she began to say but decided against it shaking her head before looking back out the window.

Soon they would be in Roswell and she would have no choice but to decieve the only people like her. Or would she, she thought?

Part 1-

'Life throws to many obstacles at you, how you overcome them is your decision and your's only...'

Liz walked into the school nervously observing the alien themed walls and the West Roswell Comet banners. Huffing she followed her father into the main office, "How can I help you, sir?" The young lady behind the desk asked while smiling at Liz.

"I'm here to enroll my daughter, Elizabeth Parker." He said in a neutral tone.

The lady nodded, "Yes, the principal was expecting you. Please have a seat, he'll be right with you." She said before heading into the principal's office.

"I can't believe you Michael!" The girl yelled, "It's one thing that you're always late but to make me late..."She huffed.

Liz looked at the two, it was Rath and his girlfriend, that Maria girl. She thought to herself. Observing their behavior she couldn't help but chuckle.

"Just chill blondie, you're five minutes late, no big deal." He said rolling his eyes before turning to look at Liz. Liz quickly looked away as Nasedo cleared his throat.

Noticing the interaction, Maria came over and introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Maria Deluca..." She said holding her hand out.

Liz looked at it a minute before looking at Nasedo who nodded, "Liz, Liz Parker..." She said shaking the girls hand.

"The jerk over here is my boyfriend, Michael." Maria said jokingly. Liz nodded looking at Michael who was eyeing her closely, "Well, don't just stand there Michael, say hello."

"Hey..." Michael said rudely causing Maria to elbow him, "OW!" He said rubbing his ribs quickly. "Sorry..."

Liz shrugged, "No big deal."

"Mr. Parker?" The young lady called, "Principal Green will see you now." Nasedo nodded before leading Liz into the office.

"It was nice meeting you." Maria called, Liz smiled before closing the door.

Lunch Quad-

"Sometimes I don't understand you Maxwell..."Micael argued, "You say you love the girl yet, you say you're waiting for something else."

Max shrugged, "I do love her, I've had a crush on Tess since the third grade, I just don't think it's the kind of love that will last...I think that's all it is, a crush, an infatuation." He tried to explain, "It's complicated."

"Since when are things not complicated?" Michael asked before biting into his sandwich. "Especially with women." He said sarcastically.

"Hey we resent that!" Isabel exclaimed with Maria behind her. "We're not all complicated."

Michael laughed, "Yeah right and I'm from planet Earth!" He joked, "OW! God damnit Maria!"

"Well, what do you expect?" Maria said shrugging turning to Max, "So this convo about Tess?"

Before Max could respond, "Is what about me?" Tess asked sitting next to Max.

Max smiled, "Oh um the new girl...Max was wondering where you were and I said that you might be showing the new girl around."

Tess shook her head, "No, I had to finish up a lab for Mr. Selligman. The old fart..."

"What lab?" Alex asked confused. "We didn't have any labs this week..."

Max looked at Tess, "Oh it was last week's, I missed up on the second part..." Tess said quickly.

"What's this about a new girl?" Isabel asked.

"She was in my history class..."Max said, "Her name is Liz Parker...."

"Yeah we met her earlier." Michael said.

Isabel nodded, "So..."

"So, we all watch our backs." Max said looking up in time to see Liz sit under the tree by herself. "Be careful what we say, agree?" Everyone nodded, "I gotta go, see you after school." He said to Tess kissing her cheek.

Tess frowned, "Okay...."

Max walked over to where Liz was sitting. Looking at the book he noticed the title, Whom among us. "Can I help you?" Liz asked without looking up.

"Interesting book..."

"Yes it is..." Liz said finally look up. Realizing who it was she put the book down, shocked she cleared her throat. 'It was him, it was Zan.' "Sorry, I didn't mean..."

"Don't worry about it, first day, new school." Max said quietly. Looking at the brunette he couldn't help but feel this tug at his heart. He wanted to kiss her, wanted to feel the touch of her skin. "Um, I'm Max Evans."

"Liz Parker." She said smiling. At the touch of their hands she shivered. She felt a spark between them and then she got a flash.

Liz felt her mouth go dry, "I have to go. I'm sorry...I..."She quickly gathered her things rushing out of the quad.

"Wait!" Max tried to stop her but she was already gone. He couldn't place it but he thought he knew her. With a determined look on his face he turned and headed back into the school.

A/N: Sorry if this is the last update for awhile, I'm going to try and post tomorrow again, but with my newborn it kind of makes it hard between catching up with sleep and taking care of her. So wish me luck and thanks for all your support!

Part 2-

'The trouble with life isn't that there's no answers it's that there are so many answers...'

The Parker Residence-

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?" Liz screamed at the Nasedo as she slammed the front door. Looking up from the book he was reading he just starred at her, "You told me to gain their trust, yet you look ME in the eye and spurt off a bunch of lies then expect me to trust YOU?"

Nasedo shook his head standing up from his chair, "After all this time, you still haven't learned child? We are not here to become friendly...we are here to get the other royal's and bring them home, train them for the mis..."

Liz interrupted him, upset and hurt in her voice, "And I told you in the beginning that I hated this damn mission; that I wasn't comfortable with the idea of coming to Roswell and ruining what they know NOW as home." She said firmly.

"It does not matter what you saw earlier..."

Liz looked at him, "How did you know I saw something?" Nasedo glarred at her, "You were spying on me? You bastard..."

Ignoring her spat, "Like I was saying, it does not matter what you saw earlier, I do not care how you do it, but you will do as the mission says. You will get the royals to come home with us and you will be pregnant with the heir when we do so."

Shaking her head, "Do you hear yourself? Why can't we leave well enough alone, how do we even know there's a home to go back to?" She questioned him with sadness hidden in her voice. "How do you expect me to get them to come home with us when you have some hidden agenda up your sleeve?" Biting her lip she looked down, "You can't force me to get to know him...let alone sleep with him." She said quietly.

It wasn't that she didn't want to get to know him. She felt some kind of connection when they shook hands, but after seeing those flashes, she knew she couldn't go through with the plan. She saw how much they both hated each other in the beginning. Why suffer through that again? True they did eventually fall in love or was it even love? Maybe it was a duty, she thought to herself.

"YOU ARE NOT IN POSITION TO QUESTION, AVA!" Nasedo yelled pointing at her, "I do not care what you saw today...it was in the past and we are in the now. We are not reliving what happened because if we were you would be dead now, you all would. I am trying to keep all of you alive, the only way to do that is if we gain the other's trust."

"What's to say anything will be different?" She asked, "What's to say he won't hate me? I felt what he felt Nasedo, he hated me..."

Nasedo nodded, "And what did he feel for you now?" Liz was quiet, "Ava, what you saw is not important and be it as it may that I lied it was for your own good..."

The Next Day-

Liz was shuffling through her locker looking for her history book when someone cleared their throat behind her, "Max..." She said shocked seeing the history book in his hands.

"You dropped it yesterday when you ran off..." He said handing her the book.

Liz smiled, "Thanks..." She said taking the book from him, biting her lip she looked up in time to have Max push a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Sorry, you had..."

"A hair thing." Max nodded as they starred at each other. Liz realized what was happening and looked away. "Listen, about yesterday I didn't mean to just run off..."

Pushing his hands in his pockets as if they were burned, "Yeah, what was that? Did I say or do something to offend you?" Max asked jokingly.

Liz shook her head, "No, I just...I remembered I had to do something and..."

Max smiled, "You don't owe me an explaintion...don't worry about it." He said, "Can I, erm, walk you to class?"

"Sure, we're both headed that way anyways." Liz said shutting her locker. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad to get to know him, she thought.

"I can't help but feel we met before." Max said looking at her causing her to stop in her tracks. "What?"

"Why do you say that?" Liz asked without looking at him.

Max shrugged, "You just seem fimilar."

"Maybe I just have one those faces." Liz said looking at him finally causing him to frown, "I don't think your girlfriend is too happy your talking to me..." She said changing the subject real quick.

"Why do you say that?" He asked confused.

Liz chuckled, "Becuase she's headed this way and looks pretty pissed." Liz walked around him, "Maybe I'll see ya' round Max." Max smiled at her before turning to see Tess stalk towards him.

Max sighed, "Tess..."

"Max what's going on...you ditched me after school for some alien meeting and then you don't even call me to let me know what's going on...now your flirting with the new girl."

Max blushed, "I am not flirting, she's new and I'm just trying to help her...adjust." He said shrugging. "Tess..."

"Don't Tess me, I saw you and I saw you yesterday talking to her!" She said pointing at him.

"You spyed on me?" Max asked upset.

"Well, what did you expect, you ran off as soon as I sat down." She said hurt.

"And you were in the eraser room with Valenti. I saw it when you touched my hand!" Max said in a harsh whisper causing her to turn her head.

"Hey am I...interrupting something?" Michael asked coming up behind Tess. Tess glarred at him, "I just need Maxwell for awhile." He said holding his hands up in defense.

"No, we're done. What's up?" he asked while Tess looked at Max shocked.

"What do you mean...done?" Tess asked, but Max ignored her continuing his conversation with Michael.

Michael looked at Tess, "Maybe we should talk in private?"

"Sure, lets go." Max said walking away. While Tess stood there shell shocked. What just happened, she thought?

Band Room-

"Big deal, she doesn't have previous transcripts." Isabel said rolling her eyes, "Maybe their on the way..."

"Yeah, but I found out that the guy Maria and Michael saw in the office with her isn't even her real father." Alex explained handing Max the birth certificate.

"What's the big deal about that?" Isabel asked confused.

"It says her parents are unkown...she was in foster care." Max whispered to himself.

"She was adopted..." Michael told him arms crossed while he leaned against the drums. "Like us..."

"Okay, so its her adoptive father, why are you guys jumping to conclusions?" Isabel said getting upset. "For all we know this girl is perfectly normal and here we are accusing her of being some killer."

"Well, what do you wants us to do, go up and ask her, 'hey are you some alien killer named Nasedo?'" Michael said sarcastically earning a glare from Isabel. "If that isn't suspicious enough wait 'til you hear this...the address they listed, nobody lives there." He said causing everyone to look up at him.

"How do you know?" Alex asked confused.

Michael looked away, "You followed her home?!" Isabel asked upset, "God Michael...I can't believe you..."

"What were you thinking, for all we know she is the Nasedo. You could have been killed..." Max said getting angry.

"If she is the Nasedo it's all the more reason..."

"To what get killed?" Isabel asked getting mad. "Does Maria know that you followed some possible killer?"

"I thought you didn't think she was a killer." Michael said raising an eyebrow, "Look we need a plan..."He said changing the subject.

"I'll handle it, back off Michael, I mean it." Max said shaking his head placing the birth certificate in his pocket.

"Why you?" Isabel asked.

Max just looked at her, "Would you rather sherlock holmes here handle it."

Isabel nodded before smirking at Michael, "Good point."

"Hey, I don't always play sherlock..."Michael said in defense. "Can I help that I want to stay alive?"

Alex grabbed his stuff, "Just wait until Maria finds out, you won't be alive for long." He said laughing.

Michael thought a minute, "Does she know?"

"My guess would probably be yes, some how that girl knows what you do no matter what." Isabel said following Alex out.

Michael paled before turning to Max, "Are you sure you gonna be able to handle this? You seem to have some emotional attachment to this..."

"Emotional attachment?" Max repeated looking at him a moment, "Are you feeling okay?"

"Shut up!" Michael said before they headed to class.

Part 3-

Library-

Max walked through the library doors looking around the tables, finally spotting who he came to find, "Isn't this a surprise?" Max said leaning over her shoulder smirking causing her to jump.

"If I didn't know any better Mr. Evans, I'd say you were stalking me." Liz said placing her pen down.

"What can I say, I'm a sucker for punishment." He smiled sitting across from her, "So studying for that bio test huh?"

"Sort of." Liz looked at him, biting her lip she thought back to the other day, "I hope I didn't cause too much trouble for you with your girlfriend." She said seriously.

Shaking his head, "Nah, she was never really my girlfriend, we sort of hooked up just because, well...I'm not really sure." He said scratching the back of his ear.

"Maybe it was just something or someone to do?" Liz asked raising an eyebrow.

"Okay, change of subject..." Max said whistling sarcastically.

Liz nodded, "So what's the real reason you tracked me down?"

Max looked at her, "Maybe I like you..."

Liz laughed, "Let me take a guess...you came here to find out some dirt on me because friend Michael is a little, how we say, suspicious of me, am I right?" Max looked at her surprised, "I overheard him and Maria arguing in the halls about me."

"You did?" Max asked flinching.

Liz nodded, "Don't worry about it...I'm used to it." She said looking down at her paper. "But honestly, does he really think I'm some alien killer?"

Max paled, "I...I..."

"I mean if I was some alien killer, and you came here to find out, do you think I would tell you?" She asked leaning forward. "Plus, killing takes to much work...I would just go for, hey I'm not from around here, I crash landed in 1947." Liz said seriously.

"What?" Max asked thinking he misheard her.

Liz starred at him a moment, "I'm joking Max, god you thought I was serious?" She said laughing. Inside she was hurt, thinking that he would maybe have a better reaction, but what was she thinking?

"I mean...no, you just sort of freaked me out." He said shrugging it off.

Liz smiled, "Honestly Max, who believes in that kind of stuff anyways? Aliens, yeah right."

"Right...."

Michael's apartment-

Later that night, everyone met up at Michael's for pizza, excluding Tess. "She actually came out and said that?" Maria asked shocked, "I mean she came out and said that?" She repeated to Michael who was rolling his eyes.

Max looked at her annoyed, "Yes, Maria..." He sat down rubbing his face, "She said she was joking, but she seemed serious to me."

"I highly doubt that if she was the Nasedo that she would just blurt it out, Max. Especially in the middle of the school library...did you really expect to just go up and ask her and she confirm it."

Michael shrugged, "Seemed like a plan to me."

Max shook his head, "No, I just, I didn't expect her to over hear tweedle dee and tweedle dumb over there." He said gesturing to Michael and Maria.

"HEY!" Maria glarred at Max. Max smiled, "I really resent that, how was I suppose to know she was there."

"I think that was his point, you don't who could of over heard you guys." Alex pointed out.

"Like anyone would believe us." Maria huffed.

"She did." Max said.

"So maybe she is the Nasedo." Michael asked him. Max shrugged, "Okay then, how are we suppose to find out?"

Max looked down, "Well, um, I kind of asked her out on a date tonight. You know kind of a peace offering, she agreed."

"Are you friggin' insane?" Isabel yelled at her brother. "I mean if she is the killer, she could..."

"Kill you!" Maria finished.

Isabel glarred at her, "Thank you..."

"Don't worry about it, we'll be in a public place...so there's nothing to worry about." Max added.

"And what does Tess think?" Maria asked crossing her arms.

"Speaking of Tessm, where is Miss priss anyways?" Michael asked glarring at the him.

Max sighed, "What is this twenty questions? My personal life is none of your guys business, so back off!" Max said before heading out the door.

Pool Hall-

"So what's wrong?" Liz asked while sinking another shot.

Max looked up, "What?"

"Ah, so what happened?" Liz asked coming up next to Max. "Something with the ex?"

Max laughed, "No, I haven't heard from her in...well..."

"Max, peace of advice, next time a girl ask you about your ex on a date, don't respond just say, 'what ex.'" She said imitating a guys voice.

"Fully noted." He said, "I just had an argument with my friends...that's all."

"This wouldn't happen to be about me would it?" Liz asked knowing fully it was.

Max looked at her, "Why?"

"I just kind of get the hint they don't like me that much. I mean Michael glares at me every time I pass him in the hall, Isabel, well lets just say doesn't exactly give off the friendly vibe, and well Maria and Alex, they run for the hills anytime I try to say hi."

Max frowned, "I'm sorry, it's just, well, they don't trust alot of people."

Liz nodded, "Gotcha." She said sinking her last shot. "Okay, I won once again, so its my turn." Liz said turning back to look at Max, "What's the real reason you asked me out?"

Max took a step closer to her, "I told you, I wanted to get to know you and I like you."

"You do huh?" She said turning around to face him, they were so close that she could feel his breath on her.

Max leaned forward, "Yeah...is that problem?" Liz shook her head, "Good, because I'm thinking about kissing you now."

"Just thinking?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "Why don't you just kiss me instead of thinking about it." Max smiled before leaning in to kiss her. Their lips brushed getting acquainted. Feeling her tongue seeking his he leaned into the kiss more wrapping his hands around her waist pulling her closer.

Liz looked up at Max, "Yeah..." She said smiling, "I'm fine." She lied before leaning in to kiss him again. Knowing it was wrong but she couldn't help but want to feel the touch of his lips again.

Part 4-

'Life is full of many surprises, some are bad and some are really good...'

Lunch Quad-

"So you didn't see him this morning?" Michael questioned Isabel.

"His bed was made and he was no where in sight." Isabel explained to the others. Maria, Alex, Michael, Isabel and Tess were all gathered around their usual lunch table discussing Max's whereabouts.

Tess picked at her food, "I can't believe you guys let him go out with her...she could be some killer!" She whispered harshly.

Maria rolled her eyes, "You sure your concern doesn't come elsewhere?"

"What the hell is that suppose to mean?"

"However you wanna take it..." Maria bit back harshly. Michael placed a hand on her leg, "Sorry..." Maria said looking down. Tess nodded, "Are you sure he didn't come home last night?"

Isabel shook her head, "I mean he could have and just left early this morning, but he always offers me a ride..."

"Maybe he had prior engagements." Alex said starring ahead of him.

"What?" Michael asked confused turning in the direction Alex was starring, "You've gotta be..."

"Don't finish that sentence." Maria said smiling as Max and Liz approached hand in hand.

Max looked at Liz, "Don't worry, as long as you're with me they'll love you." He said to Liz trying to reassure her.

"Yeah I can tell by the look of excitement on their faces." Liz bit back sarcastically.

Max laughed, "Hey guys, you know Liz right?" Everyone nodded still in shock, "Ok..." Max said looking at everyone noting their reaction, "Liz, this is my best friend Michael and my sister Isabel." He introduced as he pointed to each one, "And this is my friend and Michaels girlfriend Maria, and our friend Alex...." Seeing Tess sit there with a pure look of shock written all over her face he hesitantly introduced the two, "And this is Tess."

"What are you like an item or something?" Tess asked huffing.

Liz looked up at Max then back at Tess, "Like, you got problem with that?" Liz said imitating Tess causing everyone to laugh except Tess.

"Max can I talk to you, alone?" Tess said starring at Liz.

Max looked at her, "Now's not really a good time, me and Liz were just heading to the library. I just wanted to apologize Izzy, I promised Liz I drive her to school and I had to leave earlier than you would of liked."

Isabel nodded, "No prob, it was nice meeting you Liz."

Liz smiled, "It was nice meeting you too...It was nice meeting all of you." She said before Max led her off.

After they were gone Michael looked at everyone, "What the hell was that?"

"That my dear is a boy in love..." Maria sang causing Tess to storm off. Isabel chuckled, "It was in his eyes..."

"But for all we know..." Michael started to say but Maria interrupted.

"For all we know she's human and we have to trust Max that he knows what he's doing."

Isabel looked back to where Max had headed, "She's right, Max is a level headed guy...he wouldn't do anything that put us in danger."

"Yeah, but right now he's not thinking with the right head." Alex said shoving a french fry in his mouth while everyone looked at him, "Did I say that out loud?"

Michael smirked, "Yeah, you did...who would have thought?"

Library-

"So you're coming over tonight, right?" Max asked her as she reviewed the notes.

"Yes, I'm coming over, I'm coming over to study." She said pecking his lips.

Max smirked, "Right of course, study...I plan on studying." He said looking at her seductively.

Liz shook her head, "Don't even think about it...we're studying books Mr. Evans not each other."

"Where is your mind Ms. Parker? Mine was definitely about science..."

"Just not biology." She teased closing her notebook and turning to look at him. "Your mind is more on chemistry..."

"Got that right..." He said leaning closer before closing in for the kill. Liz felt that familiar tingle up her spine just as he kissed her. Feeling his tongue caress hers she let out a moan in the back of her throat, deepening the kiss she was surprised at how right it felt which caused her to break the kiss. Feeling guilty lying about who she really was she couldn't help but wonder who to trust. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing...why would anything be wrong?" She asked him smiling.

Parker Residence-

"Why do we have to go through with this?" She asked Nasedo as he packed a bag, "It feels wrong deceiving them, I don't wanna go through with it anymore." She said firmly.

Nasedo turned and glared at her, "You have no choice, we made a deal..."

"WE?" She yelled at him, "I made no such deal!"

"You're a part of this weather you like it or not, if you don't go through with the plan he'll kill you and there's nothing I can do to protect you."

"Maybe I don't want your protection anymore, maybe I trust them more than I trust you! They think I'm some kind of killer, now why would they think that?" Liz spit at him. "Did you kill that Hubble woman, I've seen pictures of her in your files..." she accused.

He grabbed his suitcase, "What I do is for our protection, and if I killed someone I had such cause to do so."

"Your disgusting." She said angrily, "How could I ever have trusted you, you made a deal with our enemy and you led me to believe it was for my own safety..."

"And you can trust them, people who judge you before they even know who you are? How do you know they won't kill you once they know the truth?" Nasedo asked her sincerely.

"I don't but I'd rather take a chance with them than deceive them and be some killer like you." Liz said before storming out the door.

Nasedo nodded yelling after her, "Then so be it, if you don't continue with the plan have no choice but to inform the others at the summit and Khivar will come after you...all of you."

Liz turned to stare at him, "You would kill your own people for power?" Nasedo laughed. Liz looked down thinking about how she couldn't risk the other's lives, she may not know them well but she had to think of something fast or Nasedo would sign their death warrant. She thought about Max and how she felt she could trust them but it was too soon to tell, was it just their past making them feel the way they did or was it their true feelings? It was just to early and she had to come up with something, "Fine, I'll play along, but we did this according to my rules, my time."

Nasedo thought a minute, "I'll see what I can do, I'll be in New York for about a month, and then I'm off to D.C. for two weeks, don't let me down Ava." He said heading out the front door.

"Oh, don't worry I won't." She said glaring after him.

Parker Residence-

"Max..." Liz moaned as Max continued to kiss her neck. His bookbag laid untouched by the front door and his shirt unbuttoned. She had invited him over to study for the history test but it didn't exactly turn out that way.

"hmm..." He said never leaving the spot on her neck.

Liz moaned again as he continued to alter between sucking and kissing her neck. She was sure she would have a hickey there tomorrow. "Don't...don't you think we're moving a little too fast." She finally got out.

"Too fast?" Max asked looking up at her, "Okay, I'll go slower..." He said smiling before leaning in to give her slow sensual kiss, "Slow enough?" He asked sarcastically.

Liz rolled her eyes, "You know what I mean, we need to cool down. Want something to drink?" She asked him pushing him off of her.

Max shook his head, "Nah..." Before Liz could walk away Max grabbed her hand and pulled her on top of him. Leaning in he captured her lips while his hands roamed her body. Hearing her moan he pushed her back onto the couch and massaged her breast through her shirt.

"Max...oh god..." She moaned out loud causing him to smile, "Max..."

"You sure you want to stop?" He whispered seductively in her ear. Liz looked at him seriously. "Is that a yes?"

"Max, um, I'm not...I'm not ready to go to that next step yet." She said killing the mood, Max retracted his hand, "I'm sorry..." She said biting her lip. Max looked at her confused, "I know you and Tess probably..."

Catching on Max placed a finger underneath her chin and raised her eyes to meet his, "Liz...I wasn't talking about sex, I was just...I thought we were fooling around you know?" He said seriously, "I'm not ready for that either...me and Tess, we never..."

"You didn't?" She asked confused. Max shook his head, "Oh...why?" She asked.

"I was waiting for the right person." He said bringing her hand up to his lips. Taking a deep breath, "What do you say we get to know each other better?"

Liz nodded, "I thought we came here to study."

Max raised an eyebrow, "You and I both know the material like the back of our hands, I say we take this quiet opportunity and get to know each other."

"I agree, so Mr. Evans tell me, what are your deepest secrets?" Liz said raising an eyebrow jokingly.

Max laughed buttoning up his shirt and pulling her to him, as Liz cuddled up to his side, "Well, I don' t know about my deepest secrets but, I can tell you this much, me and Isabel were adopted when we were six and been living in Roswell ever since. We don't know much about ourselves before six but we really don't mind." He said shrugging.

Liz nodded, she felt guilty somewhat knowing alot about Max already, but enjoyed hearing him talk, "When's your birthday?"

"May 6...you?" He asked looking at her.

"March 12...you remind me of my past, I was adopted but at 7. I don't know much about my past either...I would like to though." She said biting her lip.

"Aren't you happy?" Max asked her. Liz nodded, "Then why mess with the past?"

Liz shrugged, "Sometimes the past is what makes up your future even if you don't want it too." Max looked confused, "Forget it, next subject..."

Max smiled, "Okay, favorite subject?"

"Science, you?"

"Erm, don't really have one, I perfer not to enjoy school that much, I'm smart that don't mean I have to enjoy it though." Liz laughed, "Okay favorite food..."

"Strawberries." She said instantly, "Your's is the crashdown food..."

"Why do you say that, I just don't like my mom's cooking she got some new recipe book she's trying out so I'm avoiding meal times at home."

Liz rolled her eyes, "It can't be that bad." Max just looked at her, "Okay fine, whatever, favorite movie?" She said moving on before they argued.

"Braveheart..."

"Typical male, blood, violence and nudity." She said sarcastically.

Max pulled back placing a hand over his heart, "Liz, I'm wounded." He said sarcastically, "Let me guess your's is like some chick flick right?"

"No, for your information Mr. Evans it happens to be Bad Boys. Will Smith is a total hottie!" She said fanning herself.

"Hottie huh? I'll show you hottie!" He said reaching over and tickling her causing her to burst out into hysterics.

Max's locker-

"So you and Liz seem to be getting real close..." Michael commented to Max. Max looked at him, "Anything yet?"

Max sighed, "Michael she's human okay, she's not FBI and she's not an alien."

"How do you know? Your to busy having your tongue down her throat to ask anything reasonable." Michael barked out to him.

Max shoved Michael against the lockers, "What I do in my personal time is my business not yours." A clearing of the throat caused Max to release Michael.

"Am I interrupting?" Maria asked looking between the two. Noticing the tension she spoke up, "Listen, I invited Liz over to crash at my house this weekened, me, Isabel and Tess are going to find out more about her dad."

"Why?" Max asked confused.

Maria looked at Michael, "He didn't tell you?"

"Tell me what?" Max asked looking between the two. Noticing the guilty look on Michael's face, "You didn't, I told you to back off!"

Maria sighed, "Michael said it was your idea that's why the rest of us went along with it." She said with her hands on her hips. "You jerk!" She snapped at him.

Max shook his head, "Are deaf or just stupid?"

"Hey, someone had to take action and it sure wasn't you. All I did was look around, I didn't take anything."

Max looked at Maria, "We've got a camera in the house."

Max rubbed a frustrated hand thru his hair, "Where?"

"On the piano under the statue, but Max as wrong as Michael was..."She said glaring at Michael, "The Nasedo could be Liz's dad, maybe we should keep it there until he get's back."

"I told guys that they're normal, they're not aliens. Why can't you back off?" He said slamming his locker. Grabbing his bag off the floor he turned around and ran into Liz. "Liz...how long have you been standing there?"

"I just got here, why?" She asked lying, she had been heading towards Max's locker when she overheard them arguing, stepping behind some lockers she eavesdropped only to come out of hiding when she saw Max grabbing his stuff.

Maria stepped in, "No reason, we just...we were arguing about something stupid, that's all."

Liz nodded, "Listen Max, I was wondering if I could talk to you sometime this week."

Max nodded, "Of course, everything okay?" Liz nodded, "You want to talk now?"

Liz shook her head, "No, later is fine, I um I just need to tell you something."

Max smiled wrapping his arms around her waist, "What about tonight, I was hoping to take you out to dinner."

Liz smiled, "Just dinner huh?"

"Scouts honor, I promise to be a good boy." Michael snorted in the background earning a glare from Max, a confused look from Liz and a smack from Maria.

"Okay, um, sure, how about Senor Chows." Liz suggested.

"Sounds good to me, walk you to class?" Liz nodded and Max took her hand and led her away.

"God he's pussy whipped." Michael retorted sarcastically to Maria.

"You asshole!" Maria yelled earning looks from everyone. "WHAT?" She yelled, "Shows over!"

"What?" Michael asked looking embarassed.

Maria shook her head, "You lied to me, all of us and now your picking stupid fights with Max, when are you going to quit?"

"When I find out the truth, I feel something about this girl Maria, something isn't right about her."

Maria frowned, "Or maybe you just want something wrong to be with her, grow up Michael." She said walking off angrily.

Later that night at Senor Chows Liz and Max were sitting across from each other laughing and talking about their past, "So, me and Michael got yelled at by Isabel about a stupid Christmas tree..."

"Christmas Nazi?" Liz said shaking her head, "Isn't that a little extreme?"

"Please, when you see her around Christmas you'll understand why." He explained taking a sip of his soda.

Liz bit her lip worried about what she was about to say, "Max, why were you and Michael arguing again?"

Max looked down, "You saw that?" He asked grimacing. Liz nodded, "It was nothing, just something stupid."

"It was about me again wasn't it?" She asked.

Max sighed taking her hand in his, "Liz, Michael he doesn't trust easily..."

"I know, I just..."

"Don't worry about it..." Max said brushing it off.

"I feel like I'm coming between you and your friends. Maria's pissed at Michael over something he said about me and you and Tess broke up because of me and now you and Michael are fighting everyday."

"The whole Tess thing would've happened even if you weren't here and me and Michael, he's a jerk don't worry about it, okay?" Max reassured her, "He just has issues..."

Liz nodded, "Max do you trust me?"

Max looked at her, "Of course why?"

Liz smiled, "I want to show you something." She said before getting up. Max dropped some money on the table and followed her out.

Michael was shooting hoops alone on the courts thinking about the current situation. Realizing how much he's been pushing away people and causing fights just because of not being able to trust Liz.

Flash-

"Michael, if you keep this up we won't have a friendship to continue with." Max threatened as Liz waited in the jeep. "You had no right to treat Liz like that. All she's ever done was try and be your friend!" He said storming off.

Flash-

"Are you insane, you want us to break into her house and plant wires?" Isabel asked looking at Alex who just shrugged. "Max told us to back off and I happen to like Liz."

"Me too." Maria and Alex agreed.

"This was Max's idea." Michael lied.

Flash-

"Do you have any idea what you've done?" Isabel yelled at Michael.

Michael looked at her confused, "Max is currently not speaking to me because of some lie you fed me! Thanks alot Michael...god when are you going to grow up?" She said storming out of his apartment.

Flash-

"I think we need to spend some time apart." Maria said biting her lip.

"Why?" Michael asked looking shocked.

Maria shook her head, "This whole thing with Liz, it's just made me realize that your not really the person I fell in love. I understand you have a hard time trusting people with what happened with Hank and being different but...Michael it's gotta stop. This Liz thing, its ridiculous, she hasn't done anything."

End Flash

"Hey..."Maria said creeping up to him, "Aren't you cold?" She said shivering.

Michael walked over to the bench and grabbed his jacket wrapping it around her, "What are you doing here?"

"Me and Isabel were looking for you. I'd figure you'd be here." She said shrugging.

"Why were you looking for me?"

Maria walked over to him, "Well, we just wanted to see if you were okay...Alex said he stopped by with some stuff you asked for and your place was trashed."

Michael nodded, "Yeah, just got into an arguement with the furniture."

Maria smirked, "Michael just because we're on a break doesn't mean we can't be friends."

He shrugged, "Was there something you needed Maria or are you here to bust my balls some more."

Maria was taken back by his coldness, "Sorry for caring." She snapped throwing his jacket at him before walking off. Micahel watched her retreating form before throwing the ball into nowhere in frustration.

"What is this place?" Max asked Liz as he looked around the room.

Liz smiled, "Its the observatory, my dad has some connections and got me the spare key for a the science project I had to make up and I never gave it back."

"You little minx." Max joked with her.

Liz laughed, "Come in over here." She said leading him to the telescope, "I want you to look through here, straight ahead..."

Max hesitated before looking through the scope, "What is that?"

"I don't know, but everytime I feel alone or upset, I always manage to find that one star calming." Max looked at her before looking back through the telescope. "I know its weird but I guess it's like a habit."

Max nodded, "It's not weird, everyone has their own way of destressing." He explained. "I like to shoot hoops, you like to look at stars." He shrugged, "Big deal."

"I guess so, but the main reason I brought you here is because I wanted to share this with you and thank you."

"Thank me?" He asked confused, "For what?"

"For standing up for me. I know I don't share alot about my past, but you trust me." She explained, "And I'm sorry that Michael and you are fighting. Isabel explained what happened..." Max looked shocked, "She said you were mad at her for going along with Michael on some trip." Max nodded, "You can't control their actions everyone makes mistakes, weather you forgive them is up to you."

West Roswell-

Liz was standing at her locker grabbing her things and getting ready to meet up with Alex, Maria and Isabel for lunch, Max had to talk to Michael so he said he would catch up later. "Hey Parker." Kyle Valenti said coming up behind her.

"Hey Kyle." She said nicely.

"So whats this I hear about you stealing Evans away?" He asked raising an eyebrow. Kyle and her had p.e together and had become good friends. He had asked her out the first day but she declined saying she was just interested in being friends.

Liz laughed, "Where did you hear that?"

"Tess Hardning." Kyle explained, "Don't fret me and buddha explained to Tess that she was just a sore loser."

"Buddha huh?" Liz shook her head, "I didn't steal him from her, he dumped her and then we just sort started dating a few days later."

"Ah, I didn't believe her, she's just complaining. But if I were you I'd put some of these rumors to rest."

Liz rolled her eyes, "I know, Max said he was going to talk to her. I tried but she keeps running the other way."

"Must know you could take her." Kyle joked, "Walk you to lunch."

"Sure." Liz said.

Flash-

"Parker looking hot today." Brad Anderson said to her earning a glare from Max and a confused look from Liz, "What do you say we get together huh?"

"Um, no thanks." She said before leading Max away.

Flash-

"Liz!" Alex called running up behind her. "Just tell me it isn't true?"

Liz looked at him confused, "Is what true?"

"That you slept with Kyle Valenti!"

"WHAT?"

Flash-

"So Tess is spreading rumors about her big deal, let her handle it." Michael said to Max while Liz looked down, "No offense but I saw you flirting with Kyle and I can see why they would think that."

"Wha..what?" Liz said hurt. "I never flirted with him."

"Yeah okay." Liz looked at Max before taking off towards the parking lot. "Look Maxwell, Tess is a bitch but just watch yourself, we don't know a thing about this girl."

Max bit his tongue, "I can't believe you Michael, Kyle asked her out she said no, they're friends, period. Why do you have to be such an ass?"

End Flash-

Liz thought back to that day and decided enough was enough. Max wasn't being able to stop Tess, so maybe its time Liz took matters into her own hands, she thought approaching the lunch table. "Hey guys." Liz said upset.

"Hey...how you holding up?" Maria asked. Liz shrugged, "Don't worry, Tess is just being a spoiled brat."

Alex nodded, "Yeah, don't let her get to you. If you don't that than she's won."

"I'm not going to let it bother me, but I'm not going to sit on the sidelines either." She explained popping a grape in her mouth.

Isabel looked at Maria and Alex, "What do you mean?"

"I mean's that if she wants to play with fire she's going to get burned." Liz said smiling.

Science Class-

Liz was sitting at her lab table while watching Max and Tess. Rolling her eyes at how Tess would purposely try to rub against Max and how Max would just grimace. Thinking back to yesterday she remembered their conversation and chuckled.

Flashback-

"Sweetie don't worry okay, I know its upsetting, but let me handle it. Tess is just a little crazy right now and I'll talk to her."

Liz rolled her eyes, "You've been saying that for the last week and the rumors are getting worse. Now I sat on the sidelines because she was your friend and I thought maybe you could talk it out with her. But you haven't..."

"Liz, Tess is just pissed because I dumped her and I just need to explain to her that you had nothing to do with my decision." He said taking a bite of his hamburger.

"This is ridiculous Max, I'm not going just sit on my ass and let her destroy my rep."

Max nodded, "What are you going to do?" He asked with concern in his voice.

Liz shrugged, "Max, promise you won't get mad?" She asked biting her lip. Max nodded, "Are you still in love with Tess?"

Max chuckled, "No Liz, I was never in love with her nor am I still."

End Flashback

Still pissed a little at Max on how he was just letting Tess slide, she shook her head, concentrating she looked at Tess then back at her notes trying to think of a way to handle the situation. Tess looked up hearing her name, "Did you say something Max?"

Max shook his head and frowned, "No." He whispered before turning his attention to the teacher wishing for the millionth time he was partners with Liz.

'Tess, I know what your doing, I'm coming to get you.' Liz's voice echoed in her head. Tess spun around and glarred at Liz. "Are you threatening me bitch?!" Tess yelled pointing at Liz who pretended to be confused.

Everyone turned and looked between Tess and Liz. Maria bit her lip from laughing and Alex elbowed her, "Maria!"

Maria shrugged, "What, it was funny." She whispered.

"Tess, what are you talking about?" Max asked her. The teacher was trying to calm the class down, "She didn't say anything." He said looking at Liz who just shrugged.

"Ms. Harding, do we have a problem?" Mr. Selligman asked her.

Tess looked around, 'God, she is physco.' She heard Liz say, "I am not physco!" She screamed standing up pointing at Liz, "Your some kind of freak!"

Liz's eyes widened, she hadn't said that aloud, "Tess, I never said you were."

'But I was thinking it,' Tess heard, "Stop it!" Tess yelled covering her ears.

Mr. Selligman looked at her, "Tess, are you okay?"

Tess looked up at the teacher, "Can I go to the nurse please?" Mr. Selligman nodded, "Ms. Dawson escort Ms. Hardning to the nurse's office please."

Max looked back at Liz who was pale then back to where Tess was being escorted out, even though he didn't love her, he still wanted to try and be friends with her. He had tried to explain to her that Liz had nothing to do with their break up and she shouldn't take her anger out on Liz.

Flashback-

Max approached Tess angrily pissed about the most recent rumor he heard about Liz, "We need to talk!" He said grabbing her arm and leading her to the empty classroom.

"I agree, but you don't have to grab me!" She snapped before leaning against the desk. "Finally come to your sense's I see."

"Yeah, I finally do see...see how much of a spoiled brat you are. God Tess, Liz had nothing to do with what happened between us." He yelled, "I would have broken up with you even if she wasn't here."

"That's bull and you know it. You got with her right after you dumped me!" She cried out. "I don't get Max, we were good together."

Max nodded, "We were good as friends nothing more, it would have never worked out. If your mad at someone spread the rumors about me not Liz. She has done nothing but try and be your friend."

Tess laughed, "Why Max, why her of all people?"

"Why not, what did she ever do to you?" Max rubbed a frustrated hand down his face, "Look I wanna be your friend but I can't if you continue your little vendetta against Liz." He said hurt, "I thought you were better than that." He told her before leaving her standing there hurt.

Lunch Quad-
"And then Tess yelled, 'I am not physco!'" Maria explained to Isabel who was laughing. Max, Liz and Alex shook their heads, "It was hilarous, oh come on guys it was..." She said seeing their looks.

"It was not, I'm worried, she's never acted like that before." Max said, "I mean she really thought she heard Liz threaten her."

"Yeah, her dad came and took her home to see the doctor." Alex said.

Max looked at Liz who was picking at her food, "Hey, you okay?"

"What?" Liz asked confused, "Yeah, I'm..." Just as she looked up she noticed Michael coming towards them but stopped seeing Liz, Max turned in the direction she was looking, "Maybe I should..."She said gesturing about getting up.

"No, stay..."Isabel said, "Michael is just going to have to understand your our friend and if he can't deal with that than he's going to have to lose five really good friends."

"But it's not his fault, he's had it tough." Liz said feeling guilty. She knew his accusations were correct about her and wanted to tell them so bad, but was still nervous about how they would react. It's not that she didn't trust them now, she did but did she really want them to know who she was?

"Don't make excuses for him, Liz," Alex said shaking his head, "He's always been like that."

Liz looked at Maria who was quiet during the whole exchange, "Yeah, he just needs time." Maria explained trying to fake a smile.

"It's okay." Alex said wrapping an arm around her, "He'll come around." He said as Michael headed back inside the school.

Max placed a hand over Liz's, "You sure your okay?" Liz nodded, "Tess didn't know what she was talking about, I know you didn't say anything to her, hell the whole class does."

"Yeah..." Liz said distantly. "I need to go, um, I got some work I need to make up." She said kissing Max's cheek before heading off.

"What was that about?" Alex asked. Max shrugged, "She seemed distant."

"Maybe she just feels guilty." Maria said.

"Michael!" Liz yelled at his retreating figure. "Michael wait!" She said catching up to him.

Liz shook her head, "No, in fact I think I need to show you something." She said, "Please?"

Michael looked in the direction the gang was in then back at Liz, "Fine, but don't try anything funny." Liz smiled and leaded him out the school doors.

"Can I get you something to drink?" Liz asked opening the front door and letting Michael in. Michael shook his head, "Look, I know you don't like me and you have every reason to. I seem to be the one who causes a lot of trouble." She said sadly.

"Why did you bring me here?" He asked looking around the house. Liz headed to the counter and picked something up before handing it to Micheal. Michael looked at the camera then at Liz,

"Your lucky my father didn't find it." She said handing it to him, "Here take it."

"You're not going to turn me in?" He asked confused. Liz shook her head, "Why?"

"Because, your right about me..."

"What do you mean?" He asked nervously taking a step back.

Liz sighed, "God this is hard to explain, I've never told anyone." She said on the verge of tears. "Michael, if I tell you something you have to promise me not to tell Max or the others yet."

Michael thought a minute, "okay."

"Well, Michael, I'm not exactly from around here. I'm different, like you." Michael looked at her, "I'm not Nasedo if that's what your thinking, I'm not a killer, I just want to be normal, liked for who I am."

"But you know who the Nasedo is." Liz nodded, "Your father." Liz nodded again. "Why should I believe you?"

Liz handed him a book out of her bag, "I'm your sister Michael, that's why."

It had been about two weeks now since Nasedo had left for New York. Liz had been a nervous wreck the entire time trying to figure out some kind of plan to save her and the other's skin. She was sitting in her room listening to music while studying or at least trying to but she couldn't stop thinking about telling Michael everything and how he reacted.

Flashback-

"What the hell are you talking about, my sister? You really expect me to believe that crap?" Michael accused. "You're just the Nasedo trying to weasel your way in so you can kill us like that woman."

Liz shook her head, "No, I'm not a killer. Yes, I am an alien, just like you, but I'm no killer, please Michael..." She cried trying to convince him.

Michael looked at her then the book that she handed him, opening the book he saw four pictures, one of him and Isabel, then Max and Liz. "Who the hell are you?"

"Look, there were four pods in the 1947 crash. Some how mine got damaged so I didn't come out until after you guys were long gone. Nasedo had found me in the orphanage hoping that all of us would be there. We spent years trying to find you all. I had no idea who Nasedo really was until I came here." Liz explained sitting down on the couch exhausted, "All I ever wanted was to find my family, that was until I found out how good you guys have it here."

"What do you mean?" He asked confused.

Liz shrugged, "Nasedo had been spying on you guys for awhile now, he showed me pictures of your life and I wasn't willing to wreck what you guys had now. Especially Max..."

"So you know about our past lives." Liz nodded, "And your father is Nasedo." Liz nodded again, "This friggin' unbelieveable, do the other's know?" Liz shook her head and Michael sighed, "Why not?"

"Because I didn't want you guys liking me for my past life, I wanted you guys to know the real me. See, we all have this thing called destiny Nasedo says and were suppose to live by it, I believe its bull crap to tell you the truth..." She started explaining, "But anyways, my name was Ava and you were my brother Rath. We were betrothed to the Antarian royals Zan who is Max and Vilandra who is Isabel. Me and Zan were married right before the war with our enemies began. I didn't want everyone's past feelings getting in the way. We should be able to live our lives the way we want."

Michael nodded, "So my sister huh?"

End Flashback

Hearing a knock interrupt her from her thoughts she used her powers to turn off the music and jumped up, running down the stairs she opened the door to see Max standing there, "Hey, what's up?"

"I was wondering if we could talk?" Liz nodded, "Can I..." gesturing to come in.

"Sorry, come on in. I'm just surprised you're here, I thought you were mad at me or something the way you keep avoiding me." Liz said stepping aside.

"I was...I mean, I was mad at you or I still am somewhat." He confessed pacing the floor.

Liz nodded, "What's wrong? What I do?"

Max shrugged, "You tell me, I thought everything was great between us." Liz looked at him confused, "You really don't know?"

"No...care to elaborate?"

"You and Michael, I saw the two of you hugging yesterday and then go into the eraser room today." Max explained upset and hurt, "Maria saw the two of you last week kiss. She hasn't stopped crying since."

"Wait, you think me and Michael...no way! And what's it to Maria, she dumped him." She said on the offensive. Walking away she sighed, then suddenly it clicked, "That's why all of you been avoiding me?" Max looked down.

Flashback-

"Max, wait..." She tried to call but he looked at her before walking the other direction, confused she headed to find Maria and Isabel. Seeing them at Isabel's locker she noticed Isabel hugging a crying Maria, "Maria, what's wrong?"

Isabel glarred at her while Maria looked at her teary eyed, "Why don't you tell me, Tess was right, your nothing but a man steling bitch." She said harshly before walking away leaving a shocked Liz starring after her.

"I think you need to leave us alone, all of us including Max." Isabel said slamming her locker running after Maria.

Alex cleared his throat, Liz turned around, "Great you going to yell at me too?"

Alex shook his head, "No, but don't worry...I'm sure its nothing. They um, they don't trust very easily, they've been through alot...."

Liz nodded, "Yeah, who hasn't?" she said walking away.

Flashback-

"Kyle, I don't know what I did wrong." She cried to him while sitting with him at lunch. She turned to look at the table she usually sat at and saw Max sitting next to Tess. "One minute were all friends and everything's going great with Max and the next Max is all over Tess."

"Liz, I'm sure your just parnoid, I mean Tess thinks she's losing it so Max is just trying to be a friend." Kyle said shrugging, "But I understand that you're hurt but don't let it get to you."

End of flashback

"Maybe I didn't want to believe you'd cheat on me with someone that doesn't even like you." He yelled pointing a finger at me.

Liz was taken back, "Look Max, I like you, alot in fact and I don't want to fight with you, but this is never going to work if you don't trust me. I told Michael something in confidence and we kind of became friends..."

"What?"

"What, what?" Liz asked confused.

"What did you tell him that you couldn't tell me?" Max asked crossing his arms, not recieving a reply Max shook his head, "You stand there and tell me to trust you but you can't trust me, your own boyfriend?"

Liz was getting angry, "What I tell and who I tell it to is none of your god damn business." She yelled, "Why don't you go back to comforting Tess, isn't that what your best at?"

"What the hell is that suppose to mean?" He asked just as angry.

"Gee, I don't know, you never telling her to get off my damn back maybe. All you ever did was tell me not to worry about it, that was just her way of being hurt, yet did you ever think that maybe I was going through my own hell with these rumors?" She yelled, seeing Max just stand there with no emotion on his face, she turned around, "I think you need to let yourself out before we both say something we regret." She said before running back upstairs.

Max sighed running a hand through his hair, this had not gone how he had thought, he hadn't meant for things to get so out of control, heading for the door he stopped mid stride noticing a book sitting on the couch. Looking towards the stairs, he picked the book up and opened it before running out the door with it.

Michaels apartment-

"What the hell is this?" Maria asked looking through the book, "Is she really the Nasedo?" She asked the others. Max had called Isabel, Maria and Alex to meet over at Michael's for a meeting about the book he found.

"I can't believe this, it's our picture...but I don't know what this writting is." She said looking at it with Maria. "Is she..." Looking up at Max.

"I don't know, I don't know what to believe." Turning to Michael, "I'm sorry man I didn't believe you."

Michael looked down, "Maybe were jumping to conclusion's, maybe she's just one of us and not the Nasedo."

Max looked at him, "What?"

"Sure jump to her defense." Maria said hurt, "What you getting something from her and you think she's not dangerous now?"

"Shut up, Maria!" Michael yelled, "Look, all I know is that she isn't dangerous, she isn't the Nasedo, I was wrong." He said shrugging, "Leave it at that."

"WAIT!" Isabel said, "Don't you guys remember her saying she was going to get back at Tess?" Everyone nodded, "Well, remember the freak out Tess had..."

"You think she did that?" Max asked. "But why?"

"Maybe to send some kind of message for her to back off." Maria said shrugging, "Makes sense."

"But if she was Nasedo, wouldn't she just kill her if Tess was in her way?" Michael asked. "Look, why not just ask her what's going on?" He suggested hoping to get the truth out.

"It could be dangerous." Alex said not wanting to believe Liz was a killer, "But it doesn't make sense, why didn't she kill you guys already, she's been alone with all of us, she had plenty of opportunities."

"He's right, maybe she has some kind of plan." Isabel said thinking aloud.

Max looked at Michael, "What's this secret she told you?"

"What?" Michael asked him confused.

"Me and Maria saw you two kiss..." Michael looked between the two of them, "I confronted her today and she said she told you something, what was it?" He demanded to know.

"None of your god damn business, when she's ready to tell you she will." Maria stood up, "Look, I'm not dating her..." He tried to explain.

"Then tell us!" Maria said getting angry, getting no reply, she slapped him and walked out.

"Maria, wait." Isabel called running after her.

Max shook his head, "You rather trust a killer than your own family?" He accused, "Just remember that when something happens." He said storming out leaving just Alex.

"I don't believe she's a killer." Alex said to him, "But whatever she's keeping from them you better get her to tell because they won't leave it alone and you know it." Michael nodded before Alex went after the others.

Later that night Liz was walking down the streets trying to clear her head, thinking to the conversation she had with Max earlier. She had went downstairs to see if he was still there but noticed he left, she called Michael later and he told her about the meeting they had about her. Fearing the worst, she knew know she would have to tell them. Hearing someone behind her she turned around and looked but saw no one. "Hello?" She called, "Whose there?"

Max grabbed her arm and turned her around, "Let's go." He said harshly dragging her by the arm towards the jeep. "I want to know everything and I want to know now or you know what I'll do, I'll turn you in to the FBI." Liz looked at him shocked, "They've been looking for an alien killer, we'll give them one unless you start talking." He said pushing her in the jeep. Turning around she saw Maria, Isabel, Tess and Alex looking at her.

"I don't know what your talking about, I'm not a killer." She said rubbing her arm.

"You may have gotten Michael to believe that, but after everything we saw, you can't fool us." Tess said throwing the book on her lap, "I knew you had to pull some kind of tricks to get Max..."

Alex snorted, "This isn't about your personal life Tess, Max would have dumped you anyways." Alex smiled at Liz.

"Whose side are you on anyways?" Maria asked him sarcastically, "Look bitch you better start talking and I mean quick." Liz looked at Max who was just neutral.

"Fine, you want to know, lets talk!" Liz said firmly. Max drove off leaving a steaming Liz in the front seat.

A/N: Thank you all for the wonderful feedback...I never had such wonderful feedback on my stories before, you guys definetly keep me going. I really appreciate everything that you guys have said and you guys give me so much inspiration. Hope you all will continue reading and sorry I'm taking so long for the next part, hopefully by tonight or tomorrow night it will be done. But until then here's a sneak preview of what's to come.

"Do you always have to be a drama queen, Tess?" Alex asked sarcastically earning a glare from all three girls. "What is this place?" He asked Liz ignoring the dirty look he was earning.

Liz looked around, "To me it's home, to you guys it's nothing." She said leading the way up to the cliff.

"You and Isabel were antarian royals...Zan," She said looking at Max gesturing it was him, "Was the king and Vilandra," Looking at Isabel, "Was the princess."

"You mean to tell us, we were royalty?" Isabel asked exchanging looks with Maria and Tess.

"Let her finish..."Alex said.

Liz smiled grateful, "Yeah, you guys were betrothed to Ava and Rath..."

"Michael was Rath and you were Ava?" Max asked catching on.

"My powers are more advanced because I've used them, you guys have surpressed them."
