My sister eyes me worriedly. I knew she wouldn't approve of me digging up info on The black Arts even if it was for the greater good. She always tell me how corruptive evil is and you don't know it's got you until its too late. Stealing a glance from Michael I realize how right she was.

"If you want, I can look in the dark arts books. After all, I know what to expect and stuff, and I've already been corrupted by evil once," I say, giving Maria a gentle smile. She makes me feel as though the evil in my mind is gone, it's hard to explain. I think I'm falling for her. Why did I have to fall for the one person my father wants dead?
