"So, you don’t have any intentions of becoming a doctor anymore? That's a waste, I mean, you already are pretty good with tending bruised eyes."
“I think there’s a little more to then tending bruised eyes.” I say with a smile. “And Andy isn’t a jerk. He was just a little shocked,” I explain unwilling to allow Alex to think bad about the people from back home. They are the people that I am going to have to back to when this whole show ends. “I think I caught him off guard that day and he was right kinda. I’m good at the modeling thing and its fun.”

“She’s over there at the table,” Max interjects, answering my musing on where Tess was. “I was about to get her a drink,” he explains further. I can feel myself begin to blush at the thought of Max overhearing something I had thought that Kels would only have heard. “I’m quite sure she saw the whole thing. I think the whole club did.”
Now I’m sure that I’m blushing, and the only thing I can do is smile through it. Thank goodness for the low lighting. Sometimes he can make me feel so . . . not dumb, just . . . childish, for not thinking that people would have been watching us even before Jake came in. Then there was the loud argument that people probably heard. Of course everyone saw that. Tess, in all likelihood, had probably been watching as well. I think I’m going to finish my drink now.
“Since Isabel is concentrating on Alex, it might be a good time to . . . plot some more,” Kels adds, and I find myself almost spitting up the last of my drink. There is no way that I’m going to sit here with Max as he proceeds to make me blush the entire night by inadvertently embarrassing me.
“I think Alex has things well in had,” I say, looking at Alex. “Besides, you owe me a dance,” I say getting up. “And Max and Tess probably want to spend some time together. Let’s go,” I say extending my hand to Kels. “Oh! And later you can get me another one of those drink things—a different one,” I say with a smile.

Note to myself: don't bash Isabel's friends! Especially when I don't even know them.
"So, what kind of modeling do you do? You won't believe it but I'm not always up to date with what's in and I don't think I ever saw your face in a magazine. Sorry." Not so sure why I add the sorry but sorry seldom hurts.
"Since you continue to call me Officer, I guess I'm allowed to call you Dr. Model, huh?" I ask with a grin then frown slightly. "Even though that might give people some kinky ideas."
At least it gives ME kinky ideas.
KELS
Well, I have to think positive, Liz seems to like alcohol. Not that I'm sure if that is positive at all, don't wanna turn her into an alcoholic.
Taking the offered hand, we move to the dance floor. I wonder if Liz knows what effect two dancing women have on men?
"It's very nice of you to give Max and Tess some alone time. Kinda masochistic, but nice." I comment over the loud music.

“Max and Tess probably want to spend some time together." Liz says, and there's nothing I can say. I should be wanting to spend time with her. I guess I do, too. She's a great person.
But Liz is the one that intreques me, that makes my stomach tight as I wait to see what she thinks, what she likes, what she wants. And if what Kels says is true ... I need to talk to her or to Liz privately, but the two insist on being together and they head off to the dance floor.
"Have a nice time," I tell them, trying to keep the smile on my face. Any moment now they'll be surrounded by guys who want to dance with them. With Liz. I wish it were me.
I watch them for a moment before tearing my eyes away. My gaze falls on Alex. I'd love to offer a comment to him, but it's clear that I'd only be interupting. So, I merely pick up the drinks I'd ordered before and carry them back to the small table where I'd left Tess.
*Michael*
"Found anyone special yet or are you still looking?" Kyle asks.
"Oh, I think there are quite a few here who are special," I say, watching a trio of leggy girls dancing nearby. I bet I could get all three, if I tried. "They're probably a lot safer than the ones at the house. I swear, they're all a bit whacked."
Liz and Kelsey suddenly appear on the dance floor, and I can't help but watch. Liz is kinda cute. Not my type, but she is cute. Kels, on the other hand... "Maybe I'll try for Kelsey before she goes," I grin. "Nothing like a deadline to make it interesting..."

"Nothing like a deadline to make it interesting..."
"I don't know, man. She's one of Liz's best friends and if Liz thinks you are toying or hurting her friend then she might make the next months not easy for you." I say.
But on the other hand, that would cause some interesting scenes in the house. Besides, Michael's a big guy, he can take care for himself.
"But we won't know that unless you try if you even stand a chance." I say after a moment.

“So, what kind of modeling do you do? You won't believe it but I'm not always up to date with what's in and I don't think I ever saw your face in a magazine. Sorry.” Alex says.
“I did different types, a little bit of runway, I did a few shoot for Cosmo and Vogue.” I shrug, “You know the usual stuff. Really it was just something to do between shopping and partying.”
As I say the words I suddenly realize how empty my life is back home. I don’t really have a purpose, not a important one that matters. I spend most of the day shopping with friends, visiting spas and basically doing nothing and then at night I go to parties or spend time with my dad. Maybe I should consider getting a real job.
“Since you continue to call me Officer, I guess I'm allowed to call you Dr. Model, huh?" Alex asks with a grin then frowns slightly. "Even though that might give people some kinky ideas.”
“Kinky ideas? Some people need to keep their minds out of the gutter.” I scoff as I take the icepack away from his eye and take another look at it. Brushing my finger gently against his cold cheek, I smile. “I think that you’re going to live Officer, you’re going to have a black eye for a few days but that’s okay. It will make you look sexy and dangerous. Girls love that sort of thing!”

“It’s very nice of you to give Max and Tess some alone time. Kinda masochistic, but nice,” Kels shouts over the music to get my attention, and all I can do is roll my eyes at her.
“Hey, they’re in this pseudo-together-coupled phase. And I just want him to be happy. She does that for him,” I shout back. “Haven’t you seen the way he smiles when he’s with her?”
I don’t even know if she heard me over the music, and I’m not sure how important it was for her to hear me. I just know that the heat of all the people on the dance floor and the warm lights paired with the music so loud you could feel it in your body was just what I wanted. I could feel every beat of the music in my body, feel every note echo in my head, and I relished every moment of it. I was swimming through it all, especially since I could feel the light haze that had filled my head from the couple of drinks I had stretch further.
I surrendered myself to the music and the crowd. For once in I don’t even know how long I relinquished control and enjoyed every moment of it. Responsibility just washed away, and I allowed myself to unwind and have fun.

I snigger as Kyle first cautions me and then suggests that I go for Kelsey afterall. "Can't make up your mind, eh?" I ask, although I'm also trying to figure out who to target tonight. My eyes drift back to Maria. She'd been sitting alone, but now someone has approached her and is talking to her. Buying her a drink. She smiles at him.
Bleh! What do I care? She's a total psycho with the silent treatment.
"Maybe it's time to show all these ladies some good dancing," I say, setting down my drink. I head out to the dance floor and target one of the trio for starters. It's not far from where Kels is dancing with Liz so I'll be able to see her reaction.
*Max*
I carry the drinks back to Tess. I give her a smile as I set them down and take a seat. "I'm sure you saw that, eh? I think Alex and Isabel are pretty much a done deal now."
"I never would have thought of her as the 'care-giving' type when I first met her. Did she fuss over you like that when Alex hit you?" Tess asks.
"Actually, yeah, although in more of a sisterly way. At least, I'm hoping that the attention Alex is getting is a bit more ... intimate," I say, grinning. The word makes me think of Liz and I keep my smile firmly on my face as my gaze drifts back to the dancefloor...

I briefly glare at Michael but have to admit his mind, it does sound like I can't make up my mind. I watch Michael head to the dance floor, wondering if the guy will be able to impress anyone.
Glancing around, I spot Isabel and Alex standing close together and talking. I probably should be talkng with her since we have a date tomorrow but I don't really feel like doing that. I mean, she is certainly hot and all but ... something is missing.
Tess is talking with Max again, I guess this really is serious. Not that I'd care, I have my own supermodel for a date tomorrow. Taking another sip of my drink, I glance towards MIchael again. I'm gonna have to watch what is about to happen on the dance floor.
KELS
“Haven’t you seen the way he smiles when he’s with her?”
Not how he smiles at you, I think but don't say it out loud. Liz seems intent to not try anything to get Max away from Tess and she's the one who has to live with them so I shouldn't interfer that much I guess.
I can't help but smirk when Liz loosens up and dances more carefree than I've ever seen her - guess the alcohol has some positive effect.
Following her example, I dance around too, enjoying the feeling of dancing in a crowd. Seeing a guy come closer who seems familar, I look a bit harder and notice that Michael is dancing his way over to us.
I wonder what he wants from Liz now.
ALEX
I enjoy the sudden feeling of Isabel's finger on my cheek and almost missed what she said.
"It will make you look sexy and dangerous. Girls love that sort of thing!”
"Tall, dark and mysterious, huh?" I laugh. "I somehow don't think that I can't carry that image and so much for girls saying that they want the *nice guys* instead of the *dangerous* ones."
Then I shake my head slightly, so far this has all been about me but aside from the hitting, Jake had cornered Isabel not me and I haven't even asked how she's doing. So much for my parents wanting me to be a gentleman.
"How are you feeling? Everything fine with you after seeing Mr. Unfaithful again?" I ask concerned, noticing with delight that she is still standing close to me and since she is also still staring at my bruise, I can stare into her eyes without seeming weird or creepy.
Seeing her frown, I quickly raise my hands. "Hey, I know he didn't hurt you and that you are over him but it is a bit creepy that he suddenly appeared her, that's why I'm asking." I mean, it's slightly seems as if he's stalking her.

Looking out at the dance floor, I notice that Liz looks absolutely amazing. She and Kels are dancing and having fun but there's something about the way Liz is moving that positively takes my breath away.
Before I have a chance to worry that Tess will have noticed, I realize that Michael is approaching her. "Damn," I say under my breath. I turn to Tess, "I think I need to run interference out there before Michael makes an ass of himself -- again." I lean over and give her a quick kiss on the cheek, 'cause that seems like the thing to do. "Be right back."
Scanning the bar, I spot Kyle, standing by himself and leaning against the bar. I gesture towards him with a 'come here' motion, hoping he'll help me out.
As I approach the girls, I see that Michael has planted himself near by, giving them 'meaningful' glances as he tries to show off his dancing. Okay, I guess he actually isn't completely bad at dancing, it's just that I'm bothered by his attention to Liz and Kels. I don't think his plans are going to make either of them happy.
"Excuse me, ladies," I say. "Can I join you for a moment?"
*Michael*
I'm showing off my best moves and taking a glance at the trio of girls to see what they think. I see them smiling and giggling so I throw back my hair to strut a bit. Then I turn to see how Kelsey is taking it and I'm just about to turn purple at what I see.
It's Max!
Damn. He's walking this way, towards Kels. Doesn't he know when to quit, already?
