I come back from my jog panting but feeling pretty good about myself.
I check my cell phone for any missed calls ,but alas there are none.
Jumping into the shower I sing depressingly along with the radio.

Letting the water wash me free of the frustration I have been harboring I get out and wrap a towel around me.

Isabel gives me a blank look. I beam her one of my happiest fake smiles.

"You look about as bad as I feel, and I mean that in a strictly helpful way."

I try to supress a giggle but fail miserably, "If it makes you feel any better I think I totally blew it with The Cowboy last night. Usually they are begging by now and he hasn't even called. So whats your story?"

Good, Max is going to come to 'Bed' too tonight. Great, I have Michael and Max, two guys just like Isabel wanted. Should I call her? That might seem too clingy but then, she had already called me.

Oh, why not - I'm just going to ask if she wants to stay at 'Bed' the whole time or also go somewhere else. Fishing out my cell phone again, I read through my caller's list till I find her number and start dialing.

"I think that he wants to call, like all men want to call but there is just always something holding them back...like there friends for instance. Why don't you just give him a call? Be your own self...you know. There's nothing wrong about girls calling guys, isn't it the twenty-first century?" I asked her. "Just take a shot, what do you have to lose...either one way or another he's going to love that you had enough courage to face things on your own, or he's not. It's as simple as that--if he dosen't, then screw him! You don't need him, there are plenty of guys out there who will love to have you." I told her almost believeing it myself.

"Tess...just give him a call, what do you got to lose...if you don't you'll be killing yourself over it all night..." I sighed as I got in the shower.

Didn't have time for a long one...just ten minutes at the most. Just as I was getting out I heard my cell phone ring. "Damn it!" I whisperd to myself as I tried to hurry.

I fumbled across my room in order to catch my phone in time, I had just gotten out to the shower and barely had time to put a towel around myself before my phone started to ring.

I almost tripped over the mound to clothes that I had on the floor--and finally reachiing the key pad...and answering calmly.

"Hello?" I heard his voice and the butterflies flew around in my stomach and I smile crept onto my face as we started to talk.

Liz:

Our work shift was almost over as the other employees were starting to roll in. I couldn't keep my mind off that handsome man, that I met at the club. Everything about him was sexy... if things went good tonight...I was hoping that we could make them extremly good for the rest of the night and into the morning... Just two minutes left... "Maria are amped for tonight?" I asked her.

I wait for long seconds praying that Isabel answers and when she does, she sounds a little out of breathe.

"Uhm, hey, I ... I hope I am not catching you at a bad moment but I was curious if you only wanna stay at "Bed" tonight or go somewhere else too."

God, now the question soudns even more stupid than it did 10 minutes ago. Isabel will think I'm a complete moron.

"Hand me the scapel" I say quickly to the nurse. She quickly hurrys it to me and I begin my work on yet another car accident victim that was once again and innocent victim. And once again, the odds were stacked against them.
As I began the operation I was thinking I was on auto pilot, doing what had and must be done.
Suddenly the machines start to flat line.
"No no!" I shout. I move the nurse standing in the way and start the ressuistation proceedure. "Come on kid...don't die on me now..."
Nothing.
"Come on...." I mutter...
The machines start to beep again. I take a sigh of relief and quickly get back to the job at hand. I can't afford that to happen again.

The opporation lasted another two hours. Thank God he didn't flat line again, or he probably wouldn't have made it. I walked out of theatre to see one of the older guys from the department waiting for me.
"Good job in there Evans"
"Thanks Pascoe"
I go back to my office and put my feet up. A nurse comes in a moment later with my diet soda. I don't like to drink coffee at work...you never know who might come in next. And you don't want to be jittery.
I sigh as I relax into my chair and wait for the next poor person to come my way.

She lectures heading to the shower. Hmmmm. Maybe she knows what she's talking about. After all she's been in the game a lot longer than I have. I walk over to my cell and flip it open. The address book opens causing me to acknowledge my newsest entry. Hot Cowboy. I laugh at myself. Part of the game is never naming the puppy. You should always see your conquest for what he is. A challenge. Something to be pursued and then overcame. Before I think better of it I press send.

Oh my gosh, I am calling him. Ugh, I breaking the three day rule. WWell, some rules are made to be broken. I wait anxiously to see if he answers.

Who is playing Kyle?
