My mind is buzzing from standing so close to Maria, so I stop thinking about it and jokingly reply, "No, I still need your help. Besides, if you stay in here, I can make sure you don't run off somewhere and wreak havoc with Alex and Isabel's relationship," while continuing to stir the batter.
