I walk to the front door to see the guys out..."See you guys tomorrow morning bright and early."

Then I looked at Alex and couldn't resist taking a dig at him.."Hey lover-boy did you enjoy tonight?" I asked chuckling

I look at Kyle. "Lover boy? I'm not the one who spent the evening dancing with Tess. I had a great time if that's what your asking. Isabel's nice." I say. "And how is Tess?" I ask grinning.

"Night Kyle" I said smiling still. I quickly got in the carriage before Kyle stopped to talk to me again. On the way home I spend 80% of time smiling about Isabel, and 20% worrying about Maria. She never recpricated my feelings, and in the end I decided it was best to be friends. But I was still worried about her. She's so close to my heart. I hope Michael is nice to her.

"A shine? Oh come on Kyle. We had a few conversations. That's about the limit of it. It's not as if we were dancing or anything. And has per usual my sharp tongue had a work out. I expect the guy will never speak to me again...but then again it's not like he got a word in edge ways anyway today." I moan.

"Ummm...not too sure if she took a shine to me though.I thought she was sending me signals but mid-way through the evening she became sort of cold." I said

"Don't what went wrong" I said shaking my head "maybe I was too enthusiastic and she got put off or...Oh what the heck!I am not going to beat myself about it.Let's see what tomorrow brings."

"At least some of us had a good time" I said to Maria pointing in Isabel's direction "Alex and Iszzie seemed to have warmed to eachother.I'm glad,he's a good guy."

"Huh? Oh, hey Isabel," I said, shaking my head slightly. "Uh, no, I just have a headache." I lied quickly. "I think I'm going to retire to my room for the night." I said, and then made a quick escape. I said goodnight the men, who were exiting the front door, and then darted up to my room, glad that the day was over.

"Goodnight, gentlemen," I said, waving at them as they walked through the door. I noticed Kyle standing off to the side, and I avoided his gaze.

"I think I'll go to bed," I said to the room at large. "We'll be having an early day tomorrow, and I'll need my rest. Goodnight everyone!" I said, and then walked up to my room. I noticed Liz's door was closed, and, figuring she was already asleep and not wanting to wake her up, I tiptoed quietly into my room.
