I sighed. God why is this so damn difficult.
"Isabel, wait." I call out.
God what am I doing. Am I total glutton for punishment or what.
She stops but doesn't turn around.
"Isabel, I just...I'll set up an intro later for you and Michael. Least I can do." I said.
Oh God. Yes I definitely am.
"Anyway, er, enjoy your...air" I say turning around and going inside. I go back into the dining room.
I look at Kyle. "Yeah, she's fine. Said she want's air" I tell him before sitting down again.

Isabel

Set up an intro for Michael and you...I turned around bewildered,wondering that he was talking about.I was about to ask him what he meant when he walked back into the house...

Slowly it dawned on me..."God,how could I have been so dense" I asked myself...he thinks I like Michael,it all makes sense now...

Why he became so quiet,why he offered to introduce me to him...I wnated to scream and laugh at the same time..."Men I tell you" I muttered out aloud and I walked back into the dining room and sat down next to Alex.

"I do not want to be introduced to Michael" I said looking straight into Alex's eyes

....She doesn't? Did she really say that?
"Oh....ok. Well...I mean I can introduce you to Max." I look over at Max, who sitting on the other side of Isabel. "Hey Max, this is Lady Isabel." I say with a small smile.

Max this is Lady Isabel..."Hello Maxwell" I said turning briefly towards Max before I turned back to Alex...

"Maybe you didn't hear me correctly...let me make myself clearer...I do not want to be introduced to anyone else" I said frustratedly,did I have to spell things out for this man...I rolled my eyes in exasperation

Yes and the blind as a bat Alex does it again.
Hang on...why am I having private conversations with myself when Isabel isn't intrested in any other guy here. I mean, I know that doesn't mean she likes me, but hey! She's not going to break my heart on someone else in here!
I give a small smile.
"Oh...right...okay." Oh great....now what Alex.
"So...erm...did you get enough air?" I ask. Oh great move Alex!

I let out a sigh..."It's ok Alex.I think we all are a little tightly wired tonight for some reason." I said in a kinder voice
"I tend to have a short fuse at times" I told him apologetically "don't take it seriously if I sound gruff"

I had had enough of this party to be frank...Alex was as dense as they come...did I have to spell out my interest...I thought about doing that,then remembered what my mother had told me...
"Never be the chaser,Always be the chasee!"...that was one motto I was going to stand by...I swore to myself

God she has a beautiful smile. I really hope I havent blown this.
This party was getting dull fast. I really wanted dinner to end so I could ask Isabel to dance. I was worried if I didn't ask her soon she'd turn me down.
"Isabel...when you were outside, did you steal two stars from the sky? Because I can see them in your eyes."
Oh my god did I jus come out with a corny line like that! Oh gawd. Please laugh Is....

Oh great, he was trying to talk to me. As if it wasn't bad enough that I had to sit next to him, now he wanted to strike up a conversation.

"Well, I was," I muttered, picking at my food. He sent me a questioning look, probably wondering why I wasn't fawning all over him. Or wait, he didn't care, did he? I wasn't pretty enough for him. "So, why aren't you over there trying to woo Tess?" I asked more harshly than I meant to.
