OOC: okay, so I never edited the last, but I do have a much longer one here, hope its okay, I'm fighting against a little writers block but I think I'm getting there :). It's a little contemplative lol but here goes ;) (crosses fingers)

~LIz~

It seems as though everything we thought we understood about the seal and such is being contradicted… Michael and Max couldn’t have it at the same time, I would just assume that meant only one could have it. I guess it also brings up the question as to whether Isabel has a seal too… It’s a question that I want to ask, but for now I remain quite, holding back and listening.

The question remains as to what to do…a power that strong is dangerous without a doubt… I’m not saying that I don’t trust Xan, of course I do…Max and I tried to bring him up well, and I hope that he won’t forget the things we taught him, but it’s well known that power corrupts…

She finishes, Max begins to ask about other ways, but before she can answer the door opens, revealing Xan, Justin and Xada. I look up, and over at Xan. I can only hope that he will be able to forgive me for keeping this information from him… I didn’t want to hurt him, Max and I just wanted what was best, and as he was growing up, we thought that was to give him what he needed – a family…a mother and a father…

I love him like a son without a doubt, and thinking in that way, I can’t imagine how difficult it was for Tess to do what she did…

She let us think she was dead, let Xada believe Max was dead, and kept any knowledge of Xan from her… But in the end, I guess she did what she thought she had to…

Xada’s instructions basically tell us that the conversation is over. Her voice holds the same edge as I have heard from Max in the past… She’s a leader, anyone can see that…

Of course the danger is that as well as taking after Max, she does indeed take after Tess as Kyria said earlier… Anyone can see she thinks a lot of her mother, and who wouldn’t…it’s only natural…

Watching the two of them together I have to wonder if Max’s plan would work anyway though…? It takes little to see that they are already beginning to connect, and I strongly doubt that Xan is going to agree to leaving so soon…

Max bids Xada goodnight, and for a moment I wonder what I should do… I’m not really sure how to act around her, it’s not completely comfortable for either of us I’m sure but I want to try…I’d like to at least be on speaking terms… I look at her. “Thank you for your hospitality your Highness…”

With a small smile, I nod to Max as he kisses my forhead. I might not want to be parted from him, but I know that if anyone can help Sarah it’s Max right now…I think she needs a little reassurance that he’s still there for her, even now he knows about Xada. *Alright, we’ll be waiting for you…* then look over at the boys. “Come on…let’s go get some rest…” I tell them softly, walking over to them and following Isa out of the room.

Soon we’re being led down the corridors, through this amazing building. It seems strange, but I’m sure I recognise a few things from short flashes of Max’s memory that I have seen over the years…I don’t know this place, or not yet anyway, but he does I know…

We come to a stop outside two doors, one on either side of the corridor. She indicates that these are our rooms, and I thank her politely. Xan and Justin go into one, and after checking that they’re both alright, or as alright as they can be at the moment, I go into the other.

I close lean my back against the door, pushing it too and then walking over to the bed where I drop down, closing my eyes. I need to centre myself, to calm… I can feel my power surging just slightly and I concentrate, tempering it in the way I have learnt over many years.

Opening my eyes again, I look around the room, for the first time taking in it’s contents. It’s nice…luxurious even, but of course it’s unfamiliar, and I can’t deny I would be more comfortable in my own bed…

So much has happened over the years…so much to deal with… Getting here has cost so many people so much…

“Thank you for your hospitality your Highness…” my mother said politely to her husband's daughter. Xadalyn didn't reply; perhaps she had not heard, or perhaps she had just chosen to ignore it. But I admired Mom for her effort.

Silently, we followed Isa to our quarters. When Mom had gone to her room, I closed the door and sat at the window. Justin began fidgeting with the decorative items around the room right away and I took the opportunity to just close my eyes and think.

Funny how my life was so bland for nearly seventeen years and then, so suddenly, everything changed and the truth- revealed.

How much of the truth had been revealed, though? What had been discussed between the Oracle and my parents? Were they going to be keeping more secrets from me at this point?

God only knew. I thought about how Sarah was taking it. Since she was born, she had always been part of the alien circle that was my family, and had always wanted out while I felt like an outcast. Then out of the blue, things were reversed . . . well, in a way.

I hoped that she wasn't jealous now that there was another sister. No one could ever replace her, despite what I had always said about Rottweilers. I smiled at our childhood memories as they began to replay in my mind. I used to push her on the swing and she would squeal . . . I used to teach her all the games I learned at preschool . . . she would always make me give her piggy-back rides . . .

There was no reason for Sarah to be saddened. In fact, hadn't she always complained about my being a guy? Now she had a half-sister who was my age exactly, an elder sister to look up to.

But that was probably not the same. Maybe she wouldn't be able to feel the way I did with Xadalyn.

I had never imagined being so close to anyone before. Close, in terms of feeling united in a sense that I knew her so well even though I didn't and that she made me feel comfortable. Sometimes I felt guilty because Sarah and I had never shared such an extraordinary bond.

"I suppose this is quite different for you all."

My eyes snapped open again and I looked up to find Kyria in the room.

"People on Antar aren't accustomed to knocking, huh?" I said dryly, standing up. I grinned. "Different? Oh, hardly. Just a whole new landscape, a world full of hocus-pocus, a language I didn't even know I could speak, and a sister that I had absolutely no knowledge of before today. Would you call that different?"

~Dom~

My ship lands noisily on one of the palaces many landing platforms near the rosidln gardens. I really need to buy a new one but I can't seem to part with my old one. Already I fell my heart lighten at being on my home planet. Well it wasn't really where I was born but it is where my heart is and that makes it my home.

I hit the button to open the door and step outside breathing in the fresh Antarian air, but my moment of reflection is interruped by a girl's squel. A squel that instantly brings a smile to my face. Xada running towards my with her dress hicked up above her knees so she can run without tripping on it. He long hair flowing behind her in a mass of curls. Her barefeet barely making any noice at all on the pavement.

In and intstant she is in my arms and I am spinning her around and around just like when she was a child. She has grown even taller since I saw her last, she's now about four inches taller than her mother was. I try and not frown at the thought of Ava but it breaks my heart to think of her, its one reason I stay away from Xada for long periods of time, she reminds me of her mother the older she gets.

After thouroughly spinning her around I cup her face in my hands. "I guess I made it in time for somebody's birthday." I say teasingly and her eyes light up.

"What'd you get me." she says excitably, childlike. She'll never be the Queen of Antar to me she'll always be that little girl I would play hide-and- seek with.

"Nope you got two more days till the celebration, you'll just have to wait. She pouts her lip out but I stay firm. It is then I notice more guards standing around and everyone seems to be on alert."Xada what happened?"I ask and she bites her lip, something she does when she can't decide what to do."Xada..." I tell her again

"Khivar escaped." she says quietly and I feel my anger go into overload. "HE WHAT!!! I TOLD YOU A LONG TIME AGO THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE SIGNED THE DAMN EXACUTION ORDER!!!" I scream and Xada flinches at my tone, but I continue anyway because she is just as stubborn as her mother.

"YOU ARE GOING TO MARCH IN THERE RIGHT NOW AND SIGN IT SO WE CAN END THIS!!!!!" I scream and she just shakes her head no. I walk up to the nearest wall and punch a hole in it, it usually takes away some of the anger but not this time. Why is she so hardheaded?

~*~Sarah~*~

“Hey, Sarah, You found a pretty spot;" I looked and saw my father stand over me. He slowly took a seat next to me. "Are you okay?"

I nodded. I didn’t feel like saying anything yet. I know being selfish this hold entire situation. But I can't help how I feel, I feel like I'm not daddy little girl anymore. That he wont look the same way than when I was only daughter.

I sign and look at the 3 moons. The moons are so beautiful. I wish life could be that simple. No-one fighting over how shine it is because it belong to everyone.

Maybe I'm not giving enough credit to my father or Xada. I should be happy for both of them that they find each other. However, I feel like I'm not apart family anymore. I looked at my father. "I'm not your little anymore....." I feel sadness at the realist state.

Sarah doesn't respond at first, looking up at the sky instead. I inch a little closer and put my arm around her waist, allowing her to be silent a moment longer.

The flowers look so different. The shape is familiar in some bizarre way but the color seems off -- too orange. I don't know if this is a new variety, or if my memories are distorted, or if they just look different through human or partly human eyes.

This whole situation is different, seen through different eyes. I try to imagine what Sarah is feeling and I'm about to speak when she finally does first, sounding to be nearly on the verge of tears. "I'm not your little anymore....."

"Oh, Sarah," I say, pulling her a little closer, pleased as she rests her head on my shoulder. "You'll always be my 'little.' Even when you're old and gray and I'm older and grayer -- you'll always be my baby Sarah. Nothing's going to change that," I promise her. "I love you."

She seems to relax against me but I can tell she's still upset. I rub her back, trying to help ease out the tension. "Things have changed a lot today, and now we're on a whole new world. But you're still you and I'm still me. I'm your daddy and it's going to be all right." I turn her face towards mine and smile at her. "Just think, you and your mom are the first two people from Earth to step on another planet."

Suddenly, the stillness of the night is rocked by a noisy ship flying overhead and landing to the right of the gardens. That can't be good. Removing my arm, I get to my feet and take Sarah's hand. "Come on, Sarah. We better go see what this is about."

Skyler-

I walk around the grounds watching everybody. I notice a nearby bench is out of place and I quickly zap it back in place with my eyes. I hear the sound of an approaching helicopter and remember that Dom was on his way back. I walk hurrily towards the landing pad expecting my old friend. I notice Xada running towards a tall, built man. It was Dom I reach the crowd and push my way to the front just in time to hear the fight accuring between the two. "Dom, glad your back. How was your flight?" I say as I approach him. I stick my hand out to waiting for the return. I can see the anger in his eyes and I hope I have distracted them from the fight that I can only assume is about Khivar.

~*~Sarah~*~

I heard what my father said to me, and it makes me feel a little better but not completely. I need tell more, alot more. I need tell him that I dont feel like a part of the family anymore. Thats it just seem like mom and me are outsider. And my relationship with Xan change. I dont think he will ever see me when I was his only sister.

I rest my head on my father shoulder. yes alot of things change today, alot of things went to fast. And I think my father understand how I feel about it.

Before I can say to continue the conversation, there was big thing that fly over our heads. I dont know what it is, it look like a flying saucer. But my dad is kinda worried."Come on, Sarah. We better go see what this is about." He take my hand in his and I go see what it is.....

When we got to where dad think where ever this flying saucer is. I saw a big heavy strong guy step out. I saw Xada, my half sister I havent meant yet because I was so jealous of went to this guy. To me they look like a father and daughter thing going on.

Still keeping a hold of Sarah's hand, I give her a little squeeze as I watch what's going on. I thought Xada was going to bed. She'd chased the Oracle out, reminding everyone that she needed rest. Was she really looking for an excuse to see this guy? I have to admit, he looks more like a father-figure than a boy-friend. What are the odds this man married Tess and is Xadalyn's step-father?

It would be rude to continue to watch without announcing ourselves, so I take a few steps forward with Sarah. "Hello, Xadalyn," I say in Antarian. "Who is your friend?" I ask in a light friendly tone.

I notice the hole in the wall that wasn't there before and I wonder if this odd-looking man was responsible for it, but I decide t save that question for later.

~*Xadalyn*~

"Hello, Xadalyn, Who is your friend?" I hear someone’s voice and it makes me jumps slightly. Dom looks like he is about to explode and I still haven’t dropped the bomb about bringing my father here. This isn’t going to go over well. It is at this point that I notice a girl standing beside him. She has dark brown hair and dark eyes. It hadn’t even occurred to me that he would have other children but he is married after all so of course he would have more. “Dom this is…..Max. Max Evans this is Dom he used to be mother’s bodyguard.”

Dom looks over the newcomers and I can see his anger rising. “You’ve got to be kidding me….” Dom continues on his rant, something about how children know nothing of ruling a planet….but I block him out. I feel something, like a shadow of a threat that has been growing but I haven’t really noticed until now. I turn away from the group I look towards the east reaching out with my power mentally to try and figure out what it is that is causing this shadow on my mind.

I turn back to my father. “You must leave now before its too late. Take your wife, daughter and son and go back to earth.”

“How much time do we have and how many are there?” Dom asks me.

“No more than we can handle but it is best they go back now before the chaos starts.” And it is in that second, almost as me words triggered it, the east wall is hit with a explosion and crumbles to the ground and with it several of Khivar’s troops flood in. The explosion knocks me to the ground and I look up to see our men charging at the traitors.

Xadalyn warns that we should leave, but there's no where to go. Even the Oracle said it would take an hour to arrange a wormhole.

Before I have a chance to argue, the explosions start. Xadalyn said her people could handle the attack and I hope she's right. I know Xadalyn has a shield and so does Sarah. Between the three of us, we should be able to combine to make something nearly unbreakable -- although I want to do something more constructive than just hiding. But then again, protecting the Queen is probably the most important job we got going here.

Still holding Sarah's hand, I rush to Xada's side. "Are you okay?" I ask, ready to provide protection when needed. "This is your sister, Sarah. We need to get you both somewhere safe."
