I look at Kyle with a question in my eyes. I'dnever thought of Kyle as a skatter-brain, but he's definately not focusing right now. "You asked that already," I say. "And I told you, we're just talking."
I shake my head in amusement and then realize that the cookies will be done any minute. If Liz wants to keep it a surprise and not include Kyle, which obviously she does and doesn't or she would have said something, then we gotta get him out of here.
"And you're right about the popcorn," I say, taking the bowls from him while walking him to the door. "I'll pop some up right now. Why don't you go see if you can find Michael and Maria and let them know about the movie plans?"

For some reason, I get the feeling that Max and Liz don't want me around. I wonder why. Did I do something to them? No, that can't be it, after all Liz is the only girl who didn't throw herself at Max and Alex even hit him and Max gets along fine with both of them.
"Yeah, I'll try to find them. Have fun with your ..." I pause a moment for effect, " ... talking." and then head into the living area to prepare the popcorn.
Maybe the others are hiding in the back of the house.

Michael asks me if I ever performed at like a club before. I almost don't believe him when he says he thinks I have a good voice, I mean sure people have told me that but it's suprising that it's coming out of his mouth. "Umm yeah I have." I say my cheeks blushing a light pink, sometimes I get really shy when I'm up there, one time I even got sick. I'm not a shy person but performing, feeling so raw, naked, vulernable up there it's a scary thing.
Michael should sing a duet with me, it'd be fun, maybe I could embarrass him too.

"Man, I bet you were great!" I say as Maria confesses to having performed live. My voice is actually a bit husky just imagining her hot body up on the stage.
"What did you wear? Some slinky number? Or something with lots of frills?" I'm thinking either way she must have been amazing. I just wanna complete this picture in my head...

I laugh because I don't know that I was all that great considering the few times I've ever sang in front of a large crowd I either got sick, froze or was too drunk to even stand. It's been a pretty sad road up until now but it's my passion and I'm not ever giving it up.
"Yeah real great,"I tell him sarcastically and he goes back into Michael mode asking what I had been wearing.
"I don't really remember, but it's usually something short and tight." I say with a wink because when I go out I usually dress like that.

I lean back in the tub, half closing my eyes as I look at Maria and imagine the scene. "Something short and tight..." I say almost dreamily. I can just picture it. She'd probably be doing some fast-paced song. Bouncing around, strutting over the stage. D*mn.
I'm startin' to get turned on here, although the warm water in the hot-tub keeps things under control.
"Yeah. Sounds hot!. Maybe you can sing for Liz's birthday?" I suggest. It seems like a good occassion and that's only on Friday. I could probably wait that long...

I lean back into the jets coming out of the jacuzzi and just relax as Michael launches into his schtick of thinly veiled questions about what Maria was wearing and imagining what she looked like on stage. Well, at least he's consistent.
Not like some guys I know... Darn Kyle. One minute he's teasing me up and down and the next he's all quiet and distant, like when we got to the check out counter at the video store. I just don't understand him.
I come back to the conversation at hand to hear Michael ask Maria if maybe she'd like to sing at Liz's birthday party on Friday.
"Oooh that would be great. You just have to come up with the kind of music that she likes to listen to for you to sing, you know." I say.
"Yeah, but that shouldn't be too hard. I can ask Kyle or Alex, they seem to spend the most amount of time with her, so it'll be fine." Maria responds.

Walking out of the kitchen, I wonder where the others are really hiding. I could of course go upstairs again to Isabel and Alex but I'm just too curious abot where the rest is. Maybe they are in the back, hanging out and playing pool.
When I walk down the corridor I can hear voices but they aren't coming from our "Game Room" but from the jacuzzi, I think. As if we already weren't all soaking in water today.

I was talking Maria into singing for us at a club or something," I tell him casually although there's a huge smile hiding behind my relaxed expression. I mean, hey, I'm here alone in a hot-tub with two beautiful women. Things are starting to go a little in the direction they ought to go.
I remember what Tess, said, 'though and I ask. "When you planning on starting the movies?"
