The door burst open and slammed against the wall, all eyes turned to the door and some of the orderlies rushed over
"Someone HELP!" cried the distraut looking boy. A trolley was pulled over and the girl was placed on it and rushed away. Max went to follow but someone stopped him
"Let the doctors do their thing" he said and he barely registered him "You should call her family"
"Yeah, yeah" he nodded backing up searching the floor with wild eyes
"Kid? Do you know what happened?" he asked and Max looked up a terrible realisation on his face
"I saved her life" he whispered "Oh god! No! I have to get her out of there!" he tried to move past the young male nurse but he stopped him and shoved him back
"I think you need to sit down" he said but Max shook his head turning round and leaving fast. He had to get himself out of her life, god knows what he was doing to her and not realising!

Jeff and Nancy sat side by side under the hospital window staring at their daughter. She hadn't woken up in five days and no one knew what had happened to her. Max, Michael and Isabel had disappeared and when anyone tried to get any information as to there whereabouts Kyle and Maria clammed up. Jesse didn't know anything and the Sheriff was buried in trying to find them.
Maria was sat next to her best friend's side and smiling warmly at her comatose friend
"No one knows where they've gone, kinda like you. Each day it gets harder and harder for me and Kyle to keep this secret. The others are gone and you're sick, would it be so bad if we told your parents? The Sheriff handled it, I'm sure the Evans would too, why don't you come back to us? Are you lost?" she whispered she touched her friends skin and saw green sparks travel along her forehead. Maria glanced up briefly at Jeff and Nancy to see if they saw anything, they hadn't. Maria leaned in close to whisper something into Liz's ear
"Liz if you can hear me now you have to stop the green flashing. Can you do that?" she begged and it stopped "Thank you. I know you can still hear me Liz" she sighed then the door opened
"I found it!" said Kyle he handed the brown leather backpack to Maria and Liz's parents looked at him in confusion. He grabbed a chair and shoved it under the handle of the door then closed the blinds
"What's going on!" demanded Jeff
"We're going to tell you sir. We're going to tell you everything but we really don't need to be disturbed" he said and he looked to Maria and nodded. She pulled the journal out of the backpack and discarded the bag on the floor.
"This all began exactly three years ago" she began "When Liz was shot in the CrashDown Cafe"
September 23rd. Journal entry one. I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. After that, things got really weird...
I could feel everything he was feeling. I could feel his loneliness. For the first time I was really seeing Max Evans, I saw me as he saw me, and the amazing thing was, in his eyes, I was beautiful.
Max Evans has put a force on me. It's like my whole life changed in an instant. It's just so ironic that when something like this finally happened to me, it was with an alien.
It's September 24th, I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. But then the really amazing thing happened. I came to life.
Maria looked up at the parents to see if she was doing the right thing. The looks on their faces showed confusion and fear. She took a deep breath before she continued
So I've fallen for an alien. It seems so ironic really, all my life I've wanted to escape this one-alien town and find love and it just happened that love was here all along. I know it's early to be spouting words of love where Max Evans is concerned but this isn't normal. It can never be normal. I told Maria and her reaction was like mine, only I didn't scream. I just ran when I found out and I realise I shouldn't have done that. When Max healed me he put his life in my hands and I can only return the favour by keeping his secret.
The Sheriff suspects something and I'm not sure how to deal with that, I'm afraid that things can get worse, afraid that a kind and caring creature like Max Evans would get hurt because of saving my life. Michael and Isabel are aliens too. I know the danger in writing this down but there is no one I can keep this secret. Yes I've told Maria and I want to tell Alex but I know I can't. By writing it down and telling the secret to the journal I can get some sense of relief and know that no one else will know. I don't think I can write anymore except one last thing. Be careful what you wish for, because it just might come true
"So let me get this straight. Max, Michael and Isabel are aliens? And Liz got shot and Max healed her?" asked Nancy
"This is insane!" cried Jeff "You're both crazy!"
"No we're not" said Kyle as Maria stowed the journal back away. She gasped and looked up at Kyle
"You brought the healing stones"
"I found their three outside my window along with Alex's" he said sadly "Isabel had it"
"Should we try it?" asked Maria and he shrugged
"Why not?"
"Kyle let me move this chair!" demanded Jeff
"Please, would you just sit down and watch?" he asked and Nancy pulled Jeff down as she watched Maria pick up a stone. Kyle picked up another and they stood on opposite sides of her bed and the stones began to glow softly. They flashed out to the Balance and saw Liz lying in the middle unconscious. The circle was cracked and broken and when they looked round they saw the outside of the circle was blurry like a storm. Liz was screaming and getting thrown about. They were blasted out of the Balance and the healing stones exploded.
"What happened?" asked Jeff, as soon as he seen the glowing he went silent holding his breath.
"It didn't work. Liz isn't here anymore" said Maria looked round "She's somewhere else"

The young girl watched from the safety of a tall tree as the strange creature appeared out of thin air in the orange long grass. Serina watched it for a while before going to investigate, she crept down out of her hideaway and approached the creature with caution. The creature appeared to be sleeping, that or dead, she kicked the creature's shoulder and it moved. It was very much alive.
It sat up and rubbed it's eyes. It was very similar to her but there were differences. The creature looked at her and smiled
"Hello? Do you know where I am?" it asked but she couldn't understand it "How did I get here?" it asked but Serina just shook her shoulders
"I'm Liz" said the creature and Serina gasped falling to her knees. Her father, before he was killed, had told her of the Prophecy where a creature called The Liz would come and free them from Kivar. She would bring back the Ghost King of Antar and all would be at peace.
Liz sat there confused, she had no idea where she was or how she'd gotten here. The girl she was talking to obviously didn't speak English, she climbed to her feet as she took in her surroundings. Orange grass and thick trees, definitely not Roswell. She jumped when she heard a horn going off in the distance. The brown haired girl jumped up frantically and ran for a tree. She clambered up fast and then realised that The Liz was still down there. She gestured for her to come over quickly
Liz hurried over and Serina helped her up into the tree and they sat there still and silent as Royal Guards of the False King came into the clearing.
"I want them found! Kivar is sick of those Woodland Rebels!" shouted the leader "An extra bonus if you find Serina" the men cheered and spread out like fire searching for the girl and her family and friends.
Up in the tree Serina and Liz sat fearful, Liz could tell when someone was out to get her. She was just glad to have met this girl who helped her, she looked to Serina pulling on her arm gesturing for her to follow. They crept over thick branches and moved through the trees until they were a safe distance away. Serina stopped on a tree and waved a hand of part of the trunk. It shimmered and Liz gasped seeing the alien trait, Serina pushed Liz inside and followed her in. They slid down and landed in a series of homey caves underneath the forrest. A older woman met her and she felt all their eyes on her, Serina jumped up and rushed at the older woman hugging her warmly
"Mom! It's time! The prophecy is happening!" she cried
"Oh Reena not that old legend your father used to go on about" she sighed
"Mother... look!" she cried pointing to Liz still standing fearful in the centre "It's the Liz" everyone eyed the girl over and could see the differences in her, people gasped and fell to their knees chanting and praying. Liz didn't know what do
"Um where am I?" she asked confused. She went over to Serina and pulled her up to her feet "Liz" she pointed at herself then pointed to Serina. The girl was smart and knew exactly what Liz was doing
"Oh my name's Serina" she said "Serina"
"Serina" she repeated slowly. The name was like a cry out in her mind "Is this Antar?" asked Liz "Antar" and she pointed around "Antar" Serina nodded and the Liz collapsed in shock.

"No, no, no!" Serina shook her head. She pointed to the word and repeated "Fire"
Liz had been here for a few days and she had learnt the basics of Antarian. Everyone was giving her lessons and she was learning a great deal about the culture and language and how to defend herself.
"I don't understand Serina" said Liz "Why do I need to learn advanced words anyway? I can do just find with the simple basics"
"Um I guess but my mother wanted me to teach you. She is the leader after all now my father's gone"
"I wish I could have met your father" she said sadly
"I do too" she replied before cheering up "Come on" she said looking at the shadows that the Star was casting through the leaves of the orchard "We're going to be late for your defence lessons!" the two girls stood up and began walking back through the trees.
"I'm glad I'm here" she said "I hope you don't mind me being here"
"No, not at all you're the Chosen One from the Stars. You can stay as long as you want. We'll teach you everything before you go back to Earth and bring Zan home" they continued walking happily to their defence lesson.
Five Years Later...
"No! You can't!" screamed Maria
"But you said she isn't there! We should just let her go Maria! I know she's your best friend but she's our daughter and we have a right to do what's best!"
"No! Please! Just because she isn't there doesn't mean she isn't some place else! I'm not letting you shut off her life support machine!" she shouted. Kyle placed his hands on her shoulder as tears began to stream down her cheeks
"Maria it's been five years! You've kept her alive all this time but we can't keep this up! Nancy and I can't take it anymore!"
"Maria come on let's go!"
"No! I will not let them!"
"It's not your choice! If Liz was going to come back she would have done it by now. She's gone you have to deal with it like everyone else"
"No! I will not loose another friend to the alien abyss! If Liz goes then it's you next then it's me!"
"Please you just better go before I ask the nurses to call security" said Jeff
"You are not the man Liz deserves as a father!" she hissed before she walked out with Kyle following her.

Liz woke up earlier that morning and her ever-growing powers told her something was going to happen. It was like an storm was coming and she didn't quite know if it would rain.
"Liz! Liz! Are you awake? Come on we're going to be late!" she called and Liz shook her head as she tossed back the thick animal skin blanket and went over to the chest on the other side of the room and pulled her clothes out. She slipped on the leather trosuers she made and the cotton like shirt Serina's mother had given for her for her birthday. She pulled out her anklet and fastened it around her right ankle before heading out
"Okay I'm ready!" she said
"Good, today we're going for the Granolith. It's kept in a temple and today since it's Kivar's Anniversary Celebration there's going to be more guards there than at the temple so you could be going back home"
"Home? This is my home" she said confused
"No, remember Earth? I have to say goodbye to Mother because I'm... I'm going with you"
"What why? It could be dangerous! I don't remember Earth" she cried
"I am part of the prophecy, I was the first daughter to be born to the leaders in over sixteen hundred years and I'm your guide. I'm supposed to lead you" she said and Liz nodded
"Thank you! I don't think I could have done it without you!" she said and hugged her best friend.
"Are you done yapping!" demanded Risa, Serina's mother "We're going now!"
They both nodded and hurried out along the underground passages till they reached the edge of the orchard. They climbed out and crossed through the long grass field before reaching the steps of the temple
"Remember girls you just get to the Granolith and go okay? Don't worry if we get hurt! I love you!" Risa hugged both of them and all the group took off. Serina grabbed Liz's hand and they raced up the steps toward the Granolith.

Maria cried and scowled in anger as Liz's body was lowered into the ground. She looked up at Jeff Parker standing there! She wanted to shout at him but she wouldn't dare disrupt Liz's funeral. She had to give her best friend one last ounce of dignity after her parents all but murdered her!

"Yes. We have to go to the Pod Chamber" he said and she nodded and they hurried across to the car as night began to set in.

They looked at each other quickly before climbing into the cave and jumped to see nothing but the Granolith there. The cover slid down and a girl appeared standing on the floor, she looked round frantically
"Liz!" she cried "Liz where are you!" she didn't spot the other two staring at her with confusion.

She floated peacefully until darkness covered her and she could feel something on her back. She could feel her fingers and toes once more and reached out to touch what was in front of her. Then she realised where she was and she screamed! She was in a coffin! She had to get out and quickly before she suffocated! She pooled her energy and aimed at the lid above her and blasted it.
The guys filling in the girls grave flew back as mud and wood chips flew everywhere. The girl stood up and climbed out of the grave and run off leaving them baffled.

"No, no, no!" Serina shook her head. She pointed to the word and repeated "Fire"
Liz had been here for a few days and she had learnt the basics of Antarian. Everyone was giving her lessons and she was learning a great deal about the culture and language and how to defend herself.
"I don't understand Serina" said Liz "Why do I need to learn advanced words anyway? I can do just find with the simple basics"
"Um I guess but my mother wanted me to teach you. She is the leader after all now my father's gone"
"I wish I could have met your father" she said sadly
"I do too" she replied before cheering up "Come on" she said looking at the shadows that the Star was casting through the leaves of the orchard "We're going to be late for your defence lessons!" the two girls stood up and began walking back through the trees.
"I'm glad I'm here" she said "I hope you don't mind me being here"
"No, not at all you're the Chosen One from the Stars. You can stay as long as you want. We'll teach you everything before you go back to Earth and bring Zan home" they continued walking happily to their defence lesson.
Five Years Later...
"No! You can't!" screamed Maria
"But you said she isn't there! We should just let her go Maria! I know she's your best friend but she's our daughter and we have a right to do what's best!"
"No! Please! Just because she isn't there doesn't mean she isn't some place else! I'm not letting you shut off her life support machine!" she shouted. Kyle placed his hands on her shoulder as tears began to stream down her cheeks
"Maria it's been five years! You've kept her alive all this time but we can't keep this up! Nancy and I can't take it anymore!"
"Maria come on let's go!"
"No! I will not let them!"
"It's not your choice! If Liz was going to come back she would have done it by now. She's gone you have to deal with it like everyone else"
"No! I will not loose another friend to the alien abyss! If Liz goes then it's you next then it's me!"
"Please you just better go before I ask the nurses to call security" said Jeff
"You are not the man Liz deserves as a father!" she hissed before she walked out with Kyle following her.

Liz woke up earlier that morning and her ever-growing powers told her something was going to happen. It was like an storm was coming and she didn't quite know if it would rain.
"Liz! Liz! Are you awake? Come on we're going to be late!" she called and Liz shook her head as she tossed back the thick animal skin blanket and went over to the chest on the other side of the room and pulled her clothes out. She slipped on the leather trosuers she made and the cotton like shirt Serina's mother had given for her for her birthday. She pulled out her anklet and fastened it around her right ankle before heading out
"Okay I'm ready!" she said
"Good, today we're going for the Granolith. It's kept in a temple and today since it's Kivar's Anniversary Celebration there's going to be more guards there than at the temple so you could be going back home"
"Home? This is my home" she said confused
"No, remember Earth? I have to say goodbye to Mother because I'm... I'm going with you"
"What why? It could be dangerous! I don't remember Earth" she cried
"I am part of the prophecy, I was the first daughter to be born to the leaders in over sixteen hundred years and I'm your guide. I'm supposed to lead you" she said and Liz nodded
"Thank you! I don't think I could have done it without you!" she said and hugged her best friend.
"Are you done yapping!" demanded Risa, Serina's mother "We're going now!"
They both nodded and hurried out along the underground passages till they reached the edge of the orchard. They climbed out and crossed through the long grass field before reaching the steps of the temple
"Remember girls you just get to the Granolith and go okay? Don't worry if we get hurt! I love you!" Risa hugged both of them and all the group took off. Serina grabbed Liz's hand and they raced up the steps toward the Granolith.

Maria cried and scowled in anger as Liz's body was lowered into the ground. She looked up at Jeff Parker standing there! She wanted to shout at him but she wouldn't dare disrupt Liz's funeral. She had to give her best friend one last ounce of dignity after her parents all but murdered her!

Maria wasn't really one for violence but after the past few years it got to her and she ended up taking it out on the newly arrived alien
"Where's Liz!" she shouted shoving her against the wall
"Maria!" cried Kyle trying to hold her back. She shoved him and then rushed over to the girl lying on the floor and slapped her in the face
"Where's Liz!" she shouted before repeating her actions. Kyle pulled Maria off the terrified and crying girl. Maria covered her forehead with her hand and she started crying in despair.
Kyle moved out to the girl and she scurried back in fear but he just held out his hand
"It's okay" he said reaching out for her "I won't hurt you. You're going to help us find Liz"
"Liz! Yes Liz! We need to find her!" she said. He pulled her up off the floor then went to Maria
"Come on. You can cry later, if it's possible we're going to find Liz" she nodded and joined the other two.
Serina followed the others quietly down the mountainside, she was still unsure of the blonde warrier who attacked her before but the one with brown hair and strange clothes seemed to be okay.
They reached the car and she stood there as they climbed in, the thing came to life and she jumped
"It's eating them!" she cried and tried to run off. Kyle got out the car and called out to her but she kept running. He shook his head and climbed back in starting the engine and driving after her.
She screamed as the monster chased after her, she couldn't get a good blast in because it was so fast! It ran along side her and the blonde warrior shouted at her
"Hey! Hey!" she shouted but Serina didn't listen just kept on running. Maria turned to Kyle "We need to get off the desert this is ruining the car!" he nodded and slowed down. He got out and Maria moved to the wheel starting the engine and heading back to town
"Hey!" shouted Kyle, she turned round and tripped over a stone falling flat on her face. He rushed over and helped her up
"You okay?" he asked and she began crying
"You have no idea how frightening this place is! There's red monsters chasing me through a desert! I loose my best friend and none of you can understand me! And to top it off I probably just broke my leg thank you very much!" she shouted and he just nodded not understand anything that came out of her mouth.
"I can help you back to town if you want? It's going to be a very long walk" he helped her up so her weight was balancing on her good foot and they began their walk back.

Maria was getting annoyed with the tramp standing in front of the car, the glare of the headlights were blocking out the person's face so she couldn't quite see who it was. She honked on the horn roughly
"Come on! I'm trying to find my best friend!" she shouted. She hammered the horn once more, the person had jumped every time she had pressed it till the tramp pressed a hand to the hood of the car and the engine cut out. Maria swung open the door in surprise and fell out onto the floor as she saw for the first time who was hunching over the front of the car in strange clothes and dirty hands
"Oh my god Liz!" she cried, Liz blinked in confusion
"You know who I am?" she asked in Antarian, but of course Maria didn't understand "Where am I? Is this Earth? Did I make it? Where's Serina?" Maria stood up moving over and put her arms around her friend hugging her. Liz just stood there confused, this girl obviously knew who she was.
"Can you take me home? Um to the place I lived before my home?" she asked but again Maria didn't understand
"I'm taking you to the Crashdown. I'm going to show your murdering parents that I was right!" she said shoving Liz into the back seat of the car then climbed in and sped off to the cafe.

Kyle and Serina had hitched a ride, luck had it Hanson was patrolling the roads and he spotted them. Kyle told he'd been ditched out here because of some high school prank, Hanson believed him and never questioned him about the strange looking girl sat silently next to him
"Thanks Hanson!" said Kyle as they climbed out a the cafe. Maria's red Jetta was already parked outside with dirty handprints on it. Serina looked around sensing her best friend. She touched the car and got a flash of her, she shoved past Kyle and into the building. Straight through the early morning rush and into the back with him hot on her heels.
She raced up the stairs ignoring the pain in her leg and kicked open the door till she was in the living room where Liz was sitting with two people staring at her with sadness and confusion.
"Liz!" cried Serina
"Serina!" shouted Liz, they jumped up and hugged each other in the middle of the room.
"I thought you were gone! You disappeared in the granolith!" cried Serina
"I think I was sent to my original body. I woke up in a coffin! I had to blast my way out it was so scary! I didn't know what to do or where I was, or where you were! I was so scared"
"Don't worry we're back together now and I can guide you and protect you once more"
"What are they saying?" asked Jeff
"I don't know. I think it's Antarian" said Maria staring him down coldly
"Would you be able to fix my ankle? I fell over" she said pointing to the bruised limb. Liz nodded and knelt down and put her hands on Serina and healed her. Maria and Kyle gasped at her display of powers, somethings were sure now was that Jeff, Nancy and Maria were the only humans left in the room.

Jeff and Nancy couldn't believe it. Liz was alive! She had practically been dead for five years and now she was here and alive. Maria was right! She had just been lost and they had almost murdered her!
"What are they saying?"
"I don't know but I think it's Antarian" said Kyle "We can't speak that language"
"Well get her to speak English!"
"Liz!" shouted Maria, Liz stopped speaking rapidly and stared at Maria
"Zan. Where is Zan?" asked Liz. Maria only recognised one word she said
"Zan? Don't you mean Max? Do you remember Max?" she asked and Liz nodded slowly as her memories came flooding back
"Where is he?" she finally asked in English
"He left. He went away when you got sick, Michael and Isabel went with him"
"We have to find them!"
"Get me a picture of one of them straight away!" she said as she moved to the couch and tried to make herself comfortable. Maria came back with the photo of all of them on Prom night and Liz put her finger over Michael and it shimmered. She fell asleep and into Michael's subconscious.
"Michael!" she cried out trying to move through the crowd of people. She looked closer and saw that all the people were Maria. She moved to the front and saw him lying on a couch while the skimpily dressed Maria's waited on him hand and foot
"Michael Guerin! Maria would be furious if she saw you like that!" she said and he fell off the couch
"Liz! I don't dream about you. What are you doing here?"
"I need you, Max and Isabel to come home to Roswell. It's very important that you come here to begin your training"
"Training? What training?" he asked
"Training for going home. Some people from Antar have come here to help you" she explained
"I see... and how are you? How's Maria?"
"I only just got back. It wasn't a very pleasant experience but I'm back that's the main thing. How's Max"
"In half" he replied "He's missing part of himself. I'll tell them and we'll be on our way"
"Good"
"Just one thing. How do I know you're real"
"When Maria was six Kyle pulled her skirt down in front of everyone. She didn't realise for ten minutes and everyone had a good look. When you get here ask me what happened when Maria was six and when I tell you again you'll know I'm real" she said and he nodded before the dream vanished.
She jerked awake and looked around then smiled at Maria and Kyle before standing up
"They're on their way. Right now I'm going to get changed into some more normal clothes. I'm going to take Serina with me and give her some clothes too then we're going out to Michael's apartment"
"Liz someone else lives there now"
"Well we'll kick them out. We need a base"
"What about the CrashDown?" suggested Jeff and she looked over him with anger
"Even if we have to go to your place or Valenti's"
"What about the Evans? They'll be happy to know their kids are coming home"
"Yes. We'll be out in a bit" she said as the two girls disappeared
"She blames us and it's all your fault!" hissed Jeff pointing at Maria
"My fault? You're the ones who buried her alive you monsters! No wonder she hates you!" she shot back and Nancy slapped her
"How dare you! She's our daughter!"
"Yeah and you wanted her dead and out the way! Why didn't you just listen to me? If you had she wouldn't hate you as much as I do now!" she said before walking to Liz's room with Kyle following. Nancy marched off to her room and slammed the door leaving Jeff fuming

It was a right show trying to get Serina into normal clothes! But after half an hour they were both dressed and in the Jetta heading to the Evans place.

"Max, Max wake up. We've been called back to Roswell" he said shaking his friend awake
"What? What's going on? Whose here?" he asked sleepily
"No one's here. We've been called back to Roswell"
"What do you mean we've been called back to Roswell? We have to keep away" he said
"No we have to go back"
"Why? What's there for us now?" he asked as he picked up the paper, it was on the obituaries "Liz is gone" he said tossing him the paper
"No it's time for us to go back. Isabel is already packing and my bags are ready to go. It's very important! We've been called back to Roswell"
"You keep saying that? Who called us? Maria? Kyle? My parents?"
"No it was Liz" he said and Max's world faded to black, he fainted from shock and he landed on the floor "Great! Just what I need! She says it's important and what does he do? Pack? No. He faints!" he said as he knelt down trying to wake Max up.

It was a right show trying to get Serina into normal clothes! But after half an hour they were both dressed and in the Jetta heading to the Evans place.

"Max, Max wake up. We've been called back to Roswell" he said shaking his friend awake
"What? What's going on? Whose here?" he asked sleepily
"No one's here. We've been called back to Roswell"
"What do you mean we've been called back to Roswell? We have to keep away" he said
"No we have to go back"
"Why? What's there for us now?" he asked as he picked up the paper, it was on the obituaries "Liz is gone" he said tossing him the paper
"No it's time for us to go back. Isabel is already packing and my bags are ready to go. It's very important! We've been called back to Roswell"
"You keep saying that? Who called us? Maria? Kyle? My parents?"
"No it was Liz" he said and Max's world faded to black, he fainted from shock and he landed on the floor "Great! Just what I need! She says it's important and what does he do? Pack? No. He faints!" he said as he knelt down trying to wake Max up.

The ride was quiet. They had spent the last five years in Los Angeles, Max didn't want to get caught when they found something wrong with Liz but he was too scared to be that far away from her. He should have tried to heal her or something. All this mess was his fault, they had just left with no regard about who it would have hurt. He left his parents behind, his mom and dad lost both he and his sister. God only knows what that did to them!
"Max we're almost there" said Michael breaking the silence. Max blinked before turning away from the open window to look at him
"Oh yeah good" he said. All of their mind's had been on their human counter parts. They had all been worried about Liz, she had been brought into the circle and they treated her like she was an alien. Isabel sat in the back seat of the car and thought about it. Michael said that they had been called back to Roswell. None of their friends had their new phone numbers so how had Liz contacted them? She didn't quite dare to contemplate it, she didn't want to go down that path.
"I can't wait to see them again" she said breaking out in a grin, trying to cheer them up "I've missed them"
"We all have" said Max as he shifted in his seat
"I never thought I would" she said finally, her mind drifted to Jesse. He had no idea where she was. When Max turned up frantically at her door saying that they had to leave she immediately went and packed no questions asked. She had left behind her life and going back now meant she had to face all the possibilities.
They saw the vandalised sign welcoming them to the town they could never be free of and Michael continued on till he reached the CrashDown. They piled out of the car and stretched their legs, it felt so strange to be back in town.
"Where did she say to meet us?"
"She didn't. I just assumed to meet here, it's where we always met" said Michael. Max looked over the building then shook his head
"She isn't inside" he announced before moving back to the car and climbing into the driving seat "We're going home" he glanced back at the others and they sighed and joined him in the car as they drove over to the Evans homestead.

"I don't like these clothes! They're so weird and uncomfortable!" whined Serina
"I know I'm sorry. It'll take a while to get used to them even I'm uncomfortable!" she replied in Antarian. She had been talking constantly since they all arrived at the Evans earlier that morning. Diane and Phillip were watching the two girls with confusion and a little fear. They were surrounded by aliens. Diane tried not to be weirded out by this because they had called her children home, she wanted to be thankful for it.
"So who are they? They were in the chamber where the Ghost King and his family were born"
"Oh um, that's Kyle and that's Maria. Kyle is best friends with Princess Vilandra and Maria is a sort of lover to Rath" she explained. Serina looked at her then Maria
"Rath!" she said before burst out laughing "I cannot believe she can tame him! The little spit fire!" she chuckled
"Yep that's my Ria. She's got one hell of a fire in her!" said Liz
"Can you tell them that I'm Serina? And who are they?"
"Oh they're Zan and Vilandra's human parents" she explained and Serina looked at her confused
"It's a long story" she said everyone jumped when the doorbell rang "Max" whispered Liz, she jumped to her feet and raced to the door before anyone else could move. She flung the door open and jumped up into Max's arms and kissed him passionately
"Welcome home Zan" she breathed
"Liz you're alive! You're okay! Thank god you're okay!"
"I was dead" she said "Sort of"
"You were-" he was cut off when his parents saw him
"MAX!" cried Diane rushing over and sweeping him up into her arms
"Mom! I've missed you!"
"Where have you been all this time?" she asked
"Los Angeles. We were helping an old friend out" he stated and she pulled him inside when she saw Michael and Isabel behind him
"Come in! I've missed you both! My babies!" she said as she pulled both of them tight against her. Michael had always been a second son to her and she had missed him just as much as her adopted children.
They all sat down around the house and the second Serina saw them she bowed down on the floor
"King Zan! Mighty King Zan it is an honour to be in your presence!" she said
"What did she say?"
"She said 'King Zan! Mighty King Zan it is an honour to be in your presence' she only speaks Antarian. It's a tricky language to learn" said Liz
"She's from Antar?" he asked "Our home?" then he looked at his parents
"We know. When Liz got sick and her parents refused to listen to Maria and Kyle they came over here and told us everything. They just wanted someone to listen to them" said Phillip "We still love you. We've always loved you and we've always suspected that there was something different about you. The both of you" he added
"Now that we're all reunited can we get down to business and talk about why I've called you all here?"
"Sure go ahead"
"Kivar is going to destroy Earth" Isabel gasped and Michael began to pace
"How do you know?"
"Besides being up there for practically five years I've seen that future happen with my own eyes. Call me Crystal Ball"
"So when is this going to happen?"
"Oh not for a while. But there is a way to stop it, you see the Granolith is back on Earth. He won't destroy Earth while it's still here so he'll try and get it off you. We cannot give it to him no matter what, the second thing is that there is a Prophecy that includes me... and you" she said pointing from her to Max "When Kivar is on his big old come down here to bargain the granolith we and our unborn baby will be travelling to Antar to gather support. They're waiting for the King, his Queen and the heir. So we gotta jump into bed" she said and Max just nodded in disbeleif

"The first thing we need to do" said Serina and Liz translated for her "Is to build up your self defence. Liz had been trained with all forms of Antarian combat" Maria raised her arm
"Who trained her?" Liz smirked and nodded to Serina
"She was the daughter of the defence instructor for General Rath and King Zan. When Kivar took the thrown... the people of his village fled for the trees and lived in a series of underground caves. He trained her up and when he was killed his wife became the leader and she became the defender of the people. She was the only one allowed to go above ground" she explained
"So do you have a place were we can work? A large space indoors away from everyone?" Maria and Kyle looked at each other and nodded
"The school" they said in unison.

It was quite a trip going from the Evans's to West Roswell, Serina was still unsure of cars and ended up sitting on Liz when they thing moved about.
They climbed out and Serina looked round
"Aw yah swotis demica silensoris" said Serina and Liz chuckled before she walked up the steps. It was closed today and they walked up and went inside. Liz lead the way to the gym and shoved open both the doors Serina looked round and nodded. She banged her foot against the floor then shook her head
"Liz haal zamki moy lossinte?" she asked and Liz nodded. She pulled her over to a cupboard and opened the doors revealing lots of matts
"Lossinte" she said pointing to the matts
"Aw yah" she grinned and began pulling them out
"I think we should cover the floor with all the matts. We're going to need it if we're going to be practicing self defence" they all set to work putting the matts out then the students sat down.
"Right, Serina and Kyle pair up. Michael and Maria and Max and me, Isabel... you can go"
"With me" they all turned to see Jesse standing there "Isabel! I can't believe you're back! Your parents called me and I came as soon as I could"
"Jesse!" she cried throwing her arms around him "Oh I've missed you, I'm really sorry I went away"
"Don't worry. Maria and Kyle told me everything" he said and she stepped back. Would he hate her?
"And I'm not angry. I love you Isabel, you're my wife I could never hate you. Even if you are an alien" he said kissing her forehead. She smiled and closed her eyes
"I love you" she whispered
"Ahem can we get started?" asked Liz. She pulled Max up onto the matts grabbed him by his shirt
"Yaaarhh!" she shouted and she picked him up, he flew clear over her head and landed on the matts with the wind knocked out of him. Maria chuckled and turned to Michael
"Boy I'm going to have fun!" she said and for the first time he was afraid of the little pixie. God only help his kids if she was the mother!
"Like this?" asked Maria as she grabbed hold of his shirt leaned forward, copy Liz and tossed him clean over her. He landed and Liz nodded
"Yeah like that!" she said. Serina and Liz showed them the basics and they all got a few tosses in against each other before they headed back to the Evans for dinner. Isabel and Jesse went to their home in silence, they needed to talk long and hard.

After dinner Liz slipped away into the back and found Max's room. It was still like the day he left. The bed was messed up a little and his clothes were on the chair. She quickly stripped off and climbed into his bed pulling the covers over her to hide her nudity.
"Max!" she called "Max could you come here for a moment!" she heard footsteps and the door opened. She waved her hand at the lights and they dimmed. She pointed to the radio and soft mood music came wafting through. He gasped when he saw her lying there
"Liz!" he gasped
"Max" she purred gesturing for him to come inside. He shut his door and she leaned up on her elbows
"I want you"
"Liz my parents are right down the hall"
"So? They can hear the saviour to Earth and Antar be concieved"
"Liz!" he gasped "What's gotten into you?"
"I'm not the same I was when I went away. I've seen how hard it is up there Max. People live in caves under forest while Kivar lives in temples and marble stone. He lives in gold and royal red carpet, people have been killed and I'm the Queen now. I've lived there and after what my parents did to me I feel as though they are the only people I know. I want to help them and I promised them that I would bring the King home. If not you then at least the child who could save them. I stand by my word, whether you take part or not I am going back to Antar with the Kings Heir" she hissed and he looked at her fearful. What had those people done with his Liz?

Kivar walked into the large grey room and sat down at the table lifting his feet up and putting them up on the table
"Okay let's get this thing started already" he said as he fiddled with a rubix cube, humans made the strangest things. He looked up noticed that Larek sitting at the other and no one else was here
"Where is everyone? Where's the idiot king hiding now?"
"Antar" replied Larek smugly. Kivar looked like his eyes were about to pop out of his head
"What!" he demanded
"Zan and his new Queen Elizabeth along with General Rath, Princess Vilandra, Lady Deluca and Lord Valenti are on Antar. They were lead home by Serina of the south forest"
"That's impossible. Serina was killed in the riot attack on the Granolith chamber"
"Yes of course. Believe that if you want, but you're stuck down here on Earth and they're back home gathering support. Without you there to hold your claim to the throne they'll gather support from some of your factions. You've ruled unsteadily Kivar and people want peace, if they find out that Zan has returned they just might turn in hopes of getting it. Good day" he said before getting up and walking out. Kivar banged his fist on the table furiously. How had they gotten past him?
