Hey guys!! well i am at the library again with yet anothe chapter to post!!! i forgot i didnt put in Tess actual birthdate...lol i lft it blanks...so for tos who know her birthday bear with me and that blank i dint know and i couldn't look it up (no internet connection) anyways hers another chapter.

Chapter 20

Zan was looking around Max's room, when Tess tapped gently on Max's window. Zan opened the window, and helped Tess in."What is it?" Zan asked noticing Tess's nervous look. Although, he knew what she was concerned about,but he had to play the part. Tess Zan grave look. "Max, i think we have unfriendly visitors." Zan frowned" What do you mean?" she fiddled with her nails nervously. "I mean, someone came into my room today." Zan scratched his head. "You're room? Are you sure?" Tess nodded. Zan decided he wanted to make this traitor squirm a bit. "Why you're room? and not mine? Did they take anything?" He asked. Tess stiffened briefly "Um, no not from what i could tell."she replied. Although he hid it well, Zan was completely surprized how well this blonde could lie. For the first time in his life, he was grateful that his Ava was loyal to him. Had she been like this Ava, he would have been dead a long time ago. Zan sighed " What makes you so sure it was an alien, and not just some theif?" Zan saw Tess looking around, trying to come up with some kind of a responce."Because, my jewelry wasn't missing, nor was anything, anything..of any value." She stammered. It was a pretty bold lie, because her diary was incredibly valueble.Tess bit on the inside of her cheek, if Max or the others ever gotten hold ofthat diary, she was sure they would kill her on the spot. Tess, could judge imagine the smug look of satisfaction on Liz Parkers face, when Max ordered her exacution.But, Liz Parker would get no such satisefaction, not in this lifetime. Once Max remembered Tess and how much he loved her, he would be all hers.
The former King had been niave, and brokenhearted for many years, when he first lay eyes on Ava. Ava had taken advantage of the king's vunerable state, and had gotten him to fall in love with her.It had been thirty years, since her death, the death of Zan's childhood sweetheart. He had only be on the throne for ten years.....ten dark years. When Ava met Zan, he was shy and defeated, and was refusing to rule on the throne. All of Antar was falling apart, war was everywhere. Although she did not love him, the fact he was easy on the eyes, made her charade a bit easier.The order was simple, marry the king, then help Khivar infiltrate the castle.After that, Khivar will overthrow king.Then, Khivar would rule, as he was tired of the planet being ruled by a "royal cry baby". Larek, the King's best friend and confidant had introduced them, at a party, that was meant to help cheer King Zan up. It was then, Ava discovered that Zan had spied her days before, soaking up some sun at - - - - - - - 's rock. It was then she saw life sparkle in the king's eyes for the first time in years, and the job had proven to be easier than she had expected.They had courted only 6 months, when the king asked for her hand in marriage. It was when she said yes, that Zan really started to change.He suddenly started to take his job as king seriously.Khivar was not happy.When Zan was failing to do his job, Khivar was going to beseech the "elders" to take over the throne by vote. But with the king standing strong on the throne, they denied him his request. So, Khivar came up another plan, he would seduce princess Vilandra, who had become angry and distant towards her brother, during his years of depression.He would use her to get to the king. When Ava had discovered Khivar's "new" plan, she was furious! All her hard work for nothing! So decided to stop helping Khivar, and expose him. But Khivar's plans developed so quickly and she never got to meet up with the king that fateful night.
In all of her ''Memory retrvials" with Nasedo, it was all Tess remembered. Fortunately for her, Zan died, never knowing of her betrayal. "Well, i call the others, and tell them to be on the gaurd, we'll gather tomorrow somtime, and see what kind of plan to come up with." Zan replied. Tess nodded. Zan stepped out of Max's bedroom and tapped on isabel's door. Isabel as usual had her hair pulled up ina bun and was already in her red silk pajamas. Looking around Zan, Isabel checked to see if Tess was within earshot. When she was satisefied that the other blonde hybrid wasn't, she gave Zan a look a concerned look."What's wrong?"Isabel whispered. Zan crossed his arms. He looked so much like Max. Isabel had thought to herself.He even walked around with that "I'm the king" stance that Max walked around with. But there was somthing different in his eyes. It was a look she had seen in Michael's eyes only a year ago."Tess says that she thinks an alien might of been in her room." Zan says but with rolled eyes because his back was turn from Max's bedroom. Isabel had to keep from smirking. It was pretty obvious to her, that this Max wasn't to keen on Tess either.Which made her wonder about the signifigance of Max's relationship with Liz, and the lack of one with Tess. "Well, i will call uh,Michael," Isabel said winking at Zan."And tell him we are gonna meet up tomorrow." Zan winks back and nods, then walks back to Max's room. Tess stood up when Zan entered the room."Well?" she asks. "Isabel is calling Michael now," Zan expllained "We'll think of something tomorrow." Tess nodded."Okay." she replies. "In the meantime did you still wanna do some memory retrieval? I mean, that is if you're not too distracted." Zan shook his head. "No! not at all." Tess smiled "Okay, then lets get started." she replied. Zan nodded and eagerly took off Max's brown leather jacket.
Minutes later, the two of them were sitting on Max's bed face to face "Indian style" with their eyes closed. "Remeber to breathe slowly Max, and pretent you are flying in space." Zan did as he was told. "Imagine that we are traveling through space and the royal seal, the "Five sisters" forms in front of us, Antar our home planet shines the brightest." Tess ordered. Zan's brow furrowed in frustration. As much as he was concentrating he just could not visualize what Tess told him to. Zan grunted in frustration. Tess opened her eys to see him looking around. She takes his hand. "it takes a bit of work the first few times, but you can do it." Tess assured him.
Zan closed his eyes again.Slowly imagining that he was flying through space.Then he tried to imagine the royal seal, but again, the visual just would not come to him, he tried several times more, with the same end result. Zan's frustration was sowly being replaced with anger. He then felt Tess's hand on his arm once more. "Max, don't force it...let it appear one it's own.Just let your mind go blank, then start again." Zan took a deep breath, willing his anger away.And then, he attempted again. He was floating in space slowly. Stars from a distance passed by him.He felt free and weightless. It was then he felt an energy build within himself, and then the royal seal appeared before his eyes, with Antar shining the brightest. Then slowly he drew near his home planet."Can you see our home Max?" Tess asked. her voice sounded distant to Zan."Yeah." he replied with awe in his voice. As he drew closer and closer to the planet he could make out lavendar clouds and crimson red waters. A face flashes faintly in front of him. Its a girls face, but not human. She had large black eyes and golden silken hair. Her skin was pale and opaqe like mother of pearl.She was beautiful, and young for her species. Zan knew it was Ava he was seeing. Zan also felt emotions, he had sad ache in his heart, and he could tell that he had been feeling that way for a while. Another face flashed faintly before his eyes This one was far younger, and from what Zan could tell part human. Like the other her skin was pale and shimmered. Her hair was long silky and jet black But unlike Ava, this one had human eyes. For reasons unknown to him, the site of this girl, caused a deep sadness and lonieness, within his soul.Whoever she was, in his former life, Zan had been lost without her.Ava was the only one who had helped him get through the days.She had brought life back into his."I remember we used to go swimming," Zan heard Tess say."The water was crimson red, but it was thicker than water on earth. Kinda like," "Jello." they said in unison. Zan slowly opened his eyes to see Tess smiling at him. Zan's eyes went wide "Tess i saw everything!" Tess smiled proudly at him. "See, i knew you could do it! So, do you remember me?" Zan nods "Yes i do." in the rush of excitment, Tess leaned in and kissed Zan. Zan planted his hands on Tess's shoulders and then shoved her away."What are you doing?" he asked bewildered, wiping off her kiss. His rejection of her kiss had hurt her.Anger flashed in her blue eyes."I thought that sinced you remembered and all that......" her voice trailed off. Zan got off Max's bed."I'm sorry Tess its just too much too soon." Tess nods "I understand" she replies looking down at the floor. "Lets get you home." Zan offers.

Chapter 21

Isabel lay awake on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She just couldn't get to sleep; not since she lay eyes on Max's duplicate. Especially not since she saw the curious look on Zan's face after doing a "memory retrevial" with Tess. He saw somthing, whatever that something was, it had serious impact him.When Isabel first was introduced to Zan by her brother, he had walked up to her with a peculiar strut, and an arrogant smirk. After his visit from Tess, he seemed serious and stiff; his little strut all but disappeared.Sure, she was curious enough, that much she would admit.But, she was in no hurry to remember her feelings for Khivar, or just how much of a traitor she had been.Isabel turned to her left side andthen fluffed her pillow a bit. She groaned inwardly when she realized there was no hope for sleep. Not in the next hour anyhow. Sitting up, Isabel picked at the edge of a nail. Zan was not the only person her mind. Isabel was curious about her duplicate. Zan had told them that her and Michael's duplicate were still in NewYork. Determined to get some questions answered, Isabel decided to stay up and wait for Zan's return.
Max was sitting on a lawn chair furtherest from Liz's bedroom windows.He understood Liz's frustration. Getting to know Tess's true side had been infuriating, but no surprise to Liz. He understood why Liz wanted Tess out of their lives so badly. Since her entrance in Roswell, Tess has turned everyone's life upsidedown, unfortunatly not for the better either. Since the message from their mother, an awkwardness had developed between Michael and Isabel. The two had a hard time looking into each others eyes, since they had those dreams.Even their relationships suffered. Isabel decided to cool things off between her and Alex and Maria and Michael have broken up.It amazed Max how much like night and day Ava and Tess were. His shoulders slumped as he sighed sadly.Liz has given so much to protect his secret, and what does she get for it? A hybrid wife from hell, trying to destroy her happiness. He didn't even care for Tess, and he turned his back on his and Tess's destiny.It wasn't his destiny to be with Tess, not really.Max was sure, that had his antarian mother known Tess/Ava's true agenda in that other life, she would never have sent Ava with him. Max wasn't sure how he knew this, but he did; He also had a feeling that somehow , someway Liz was alternate course in his destiny.
Max was determined not to let anything come in beween him and Liz again no matter what that meant, including giving up his throne.He glanced over at Liz's bedroom. Ava was slowly attempting to console Liz.
"I guess i am the wrong person to be doing this, but if its any concelation, i am sorry you're going through this."Ava apologized.Liz smiled weakly "Thanks." Ava nodded and leaned back on the side of Liz's bed in disbelief. "I cannot believe that Khivar was my lover in that other life" Ava said shaking her head in disbelief."Thats not who you are now." Liz explained softly to Ava.
Ava sighed. "Yeah, i know." "Besides,"Liz replied smiling down at Ava "You turned out way better than that." Ava smiled sheepishly back at Liz. When she noticed Max sitting outside, Ava realized that had taken Liz's outburst rather hard. "Does he always blame himself for the things you guys have no control over?" Liz glanced over at Max's defeated form. She felt a pang of guilt hit the bottom of her stomache. Liz sighs as she stands up "Yeah, excuse me Ava," The pink and blacked hair nodded and move out of the way.
"Max?" Liz asked. Her eyes had a more gentle look, Max noted, as he looked up at her.His eyes were sad, wich made Liz feel worse."Max, i know this whole Tess thing isn't your fault." Max looked down at his feet. "But it was Liz," he replied looking back up at her. "I let you get close, before i even knew what was waiting out there for me. And, i knew there was something out there." Liz sat down next to Max. "Max i knew evenutally there would be something. Though i never expected it to have blonde hair and blue eyes and you dancing around it's fantasies." Max gave her a dry look."We'll get through this. Max i am sorry i snapped at you." Liz apologized letting a hand rest on his leg. Max smiled gently and kissed Liz on the temple."It's okay," He said. "By the end of the week, you won't be the last. I still have Michael and Isabel to deal with." Liz cringed and gave him a sympathetic pat.
Ava smiled when she saw the emotions, that had passed between Max and Liz. Their love eminated deep from the soul,and it showed in their eyes. It was no wonder Tess hadn't stand a chance. As she sat against Liz's bed, Ava looked around her room. Liz's taste was simple, no fancey pink canope bed, no frilly curtains. Just a plain wooden frame bed, and matching dressers. under the night stand next to her, Ava noticed a photo album. Taking the album from its place, Ava hoped it wasn't there to be hidden, then opened the book. She immediatly regonized a 5 year old version of Liz after a few of her newborn and toddler photos. Ava smiled as she came across a photo that had been taken of Liz with her mother. Liz looked incrediblly uncomfortable, in a dress that had cupcakes on it. Her mother stood next to her, with an arm around Liz; pride shining in her eyes. Ava flipped through more pages til she came to what she imagined as Liz's summer before her sophmore year. When she noticed the dates on the pictures and did the math, she realized she was right. Wich would make the cute guy in a few of the pictures, her exboyfriend Kyle. Ava remember Liz telling her that she had set up Max to see her in bed with Kyle. Since Kyle dated Liz before Max healed her and fell in love so she used her recent ex to make Max think they slept together. Ava grinned a bit, He was definatly cute.Light brown hair and blue eyes,a great body and football player.Ava could definatly see this guy being her "type".
When Zan reached the top of the ladder he realized he had just stumbled into a tender moment between Max and Liz. He tried to hide his smirk of satisfaction, but Max still gave him an angry glare.Liz stood up, her eyes wide "Zan? what are you doing back?" Liz asked as Max stood up and circled an arm around's Liz's waist. "It's Tess." Zan said noting Max's body language. Liz face grew hard."What about her?" her dislike obvious in her tone."She wants to set up a meeting, she thinks aliens other than us, took her diary." Max and Liz look at each other, "Looks like we going to have to confront her tomorrow." Max says "Good" Liz says planting her hands on her hips."We'll call a meeting tomorrow, after school at the musem." Max eplained. Zan and Liz both nodded.
Then, Max kissed Liz gently as they embraced each other. "This whole thing is a]
When Liz headed back to her bedroom, she noticed Ava had found her photo album. As she got closer to the window, she noticed the hybrid was checking out a picture of Kyle.Liz grins. "Thats Kyle Valenti." Liz states, and grins even wider when she notices Ava's cheeks turn a few shades of red. "Uh, yeah i figured that's who it was." She said and cleared her throat, but hesitated before putting the photo album away. "Kyle Valenti and Ava?" Liz asked herself. Why not? Kyle and Tess almost had a thing going, before Kyle agreed to pretend he slept with Liz. Why would Kyle and Ava be any different? Liz grinned even wider as she took the picture of Kyle out of her photo album and handed it to Ava. "You know he's availible." Liz said coyly. Ava's head snapped up. "He is?" she asked with just a little too much curiousity. Liz was still grinning when she nodded."I could introduce you to him if you.....you want." Liz offered hoping she wasn't assmuing too much. Ava squared her shoulders "No, thats okay i know how to get a guys attention." Liz arched an eyebrow at her as she down on her bed. "Oh?...you've had other guys other than Zan?" Liz asked curiously. Ava then let her shoulders slump as she sighed, then she shook her head. Liz giggled, "Leave it up to me and Maria! we'll get you guys hooked up!"
Ava smiled weakly at Liz, wondering what n the world she was getting herself into.

Chapter 22

Liz had just gotten her pajams on, and was about to close her bedroom window, when she heard someone calling her name. It was Max, but when she got out on the roof and peered over the edge she realized it wasn't the Max she had expected. Liz frowned."What are you doing here? i thought you were going back." "Can i come? up i need to talk to you....and Ava." he asks,with obvious worry in his voice. Liz nods and it takes Future Max only seconds to reach the top.Liz goes and wakes Ava.When Ava gets out on the roof with Liz she frowns at Future Max.She then looks at Liz andsays "There are far too many Max's floating around in Roswell." Future Max gives her a dry look, but soon is replaced with worry again."You're going to have some uninvited guests soon." Ava and Liz look at each other then back at Future Max. "Who?" Liz asks. Future Max gives them a grave look. "Lonnie and Rath."
Ava stands in place, unable to move.The blush that was on her cheeks only a few hours before, was now completely drained from her face. Liz is suddenly holding Ava, concern showing in her face. "Ava are you alright?" she asks. Ava turns to Liz's voice but stares at her blankly.When Ava begins to tremble, Liz realizes the hybrid was completely frightened."Ava what is it?" "They will kill me!" Ava in a barely audible whisper.She looks up a Liz."They will, both Zan and me!" Liz looked at Ava, uncertained. "You mean Lonnie and Rath?" she asked. Ava nodded slowly. For the life of her, Liz could image why, Lonnie and Rath would ever want to do such a thing, to their fellow hybrids. Ava saw Liz's doubt. "Lonnie and Rath are not like Isabel and Michael." Ava explained. "Lonnie and Zan were never close. As a matter of fact, they were anything but." Liz was surprized.She just assumed that, by growing up together, they would be close."Why?" Liz asked. Ava shrugged. "Who knows, maybe we were the wrong set, maybe Vilandra was really evil.I don't know. What I do know, is Zan, Lonnie and Rath never saw eye to eye." she replied." You, see there are two sets of us, in case one couldn't make it, then other set would do the job.Ever since we found out there was another set, Lonnie and Rath have been desperate to return to Antar.Just before we left, we were contacted by our people. They wanted a summit, to call a truce. But, i know Zan would never go for it. He's too careful." Liz looked at Future Max bewilderd. "So there's two kings?" she asked. Ava shook her head. "Not exactly" She explained. "One set is the "true" set, while the other, was a back up, in case, something happened." Liz pressed. "In case something.....?" Ava shifted uncomfortably "In case they were killed." Liz's eyebrows shot up in shock."Oh." was Liz's responce."How do you know who the "true" set is." She asked. Ava shrugged "Not sure." she said."The embesary sanctifies him." Future Max supplies in a low voice, as he looks down at the ground."The royal seal is implanted in the king's brain." A looks passes across, the girls face as it dawns on them, how Future Max knew this peice of information. "Oh." again was all Liz could say "In my time," Future Max explains,"Zan is killed becuase he does not trust the setup for the summit, later we found out that Lonie and Rath had killed him.Then they came to Roswell seeking me out and lie to me, to get me to return to NewYork. I didn't go for the deal, becuase i refused to leave Isabel and Michael behind. But more so, becuase Liz had told me that the granilith was powerful, and should not be put in the wrong hands.So I didn't take the offer Khivar offered, Then Lonnie and Rath tried to kill me." When she notices the hybrid next to her, feeling awkward, she resumes comforting her. "It's okay really." Ava said shrugging away from Liz. "It's just as well. I ain't in no hurry to jump on a spaceship and return to Antar.I have no future there, except maybe a prison sentence. Earth is my home now. Besides, I'm not queen material anyways." Liz smiles." i dunno, you helping us out with Tess situation, is pretty noble." Ava gives a snort. "Noble? Hardly. The chick is making me look bad." Liz and Future Max snickered at Ava's last words.
Isabel was sitting on her bed, reading the latest issue of Cosmopalitan when, she heard Max and Zan arrived home. She smirked when she heard someone stumble in from the window.It obviously wasn't her brother Max, he had already mastered the art of sneaking in and out of that window, without being heard.A few moments later she heard Max's footsteps, coming up the stairs.Moments later, a gentle tapping was heard on her door. "Iz can i come in?" Max whispered Isabel raised a hand to the door and thn it slowly opened. Max's eyebrows shot up when he saw his sister sitting up and reading. "Can't sleep?" he asked curiously.Isabel shook her head. "Oh, no it's not that. I just wanted to talk to Zan fer a bit." Max looked at Zan curiously, but Zan just shrugged. "Anyways, tomorrow we confront Tess." Max said matter of factly. Isabel eyebrows shot up in surprize. "What! why?" "Because she wants to search for whom ever took her diary. She's pretty sure it's an alien as ." Max explained. Isabel frowned. "How does she know it's alien?" Isabel asked. "She used her powers to hide it." Zan replied "So what's the plan ? Have you told Michael?" Max shook his head. "No, not yet." Isabel gave him a disapproving look. "He and Maria have been fighting, i didn't want to interupt their time." Isabel rolled her eyes. "He'll get over it. call him." Max pulled out his cellphone from his back pocket, and stepped out of Isabel's bedroom.Zan step in closer to Isabel's bed. "What is it you wanted to talk about." He asked timidly.Looking at Max's sister, Zan wished Lonnie had turned out more like her.He could tell by the way she dressed, that Isabel retained Vilandra's love for beautiful clothes.And maybe a hint of her class. Zan was suddenly taken aback.How did he know that? Was it possible that he remembered more than he thought? When isabel was sure Max wasn't listening, she spoke."Lonnie?,is that short for.." "Vilandra?" Zan asked then nodded. "Yeah, we didn't have adoptive parents, to give us different names. Our protector, told us that these were our names from our previous lives, so we use them."Isabel nodded, understanding."Are you close to Lonnie?" She asked. Zan shook his head."No, not really." Isabel looked down at her hands."Oh. What is she like?" Zan snorted. "Um, nothing like you I'm afraid.she tries to be loyal, but i am sure it's a front. She always seems that she has her own set of rules to follow." Isabel frowned in dissappointment. "I guess she must be feeling bad about herself, because of the betrayal." Zan looked at Isabel confused. "Betrayal?" he asks. "Yeah, Yknow, the whole Vilandra, Khivar thing, and by the way, i am sorry about that." Zan suddenly stiffened "What about Viladra and Khivar?" he asked. Isabel eyed him suspiously "Lonnie didn't tell you?"she asked.Zan shook his head.Isabel let out a big sigh."Back in that other life, Vilandra was Khivar's lover." Isabel explained. Zan suddenly looked up at her stunned."And, she betrayed her family, and got everyone killed.It's her fault everyone died." She finished. Zan was so surprized, he remained silent. What could he say? It was so like Lonnie's M.O.For Zan, it explained alot, and couldn't help but wonder if Rath knew. From what he could tell, this was not something, that could have been pulled on Michael. But Rath on the other hand, he was just a big stupid killing mashine. He probably had no clue, that Lonnie had no real desire to stay with him, if they ever go back to their home planet.Zan's brown eyes softened as he smiled at Isabel. "Apology accepted.
."Max snapped his cellphone closed, when he stepped into Isabel's bedroom. "All set. We meet tomorrow at the museam at noon." Max stated. Isabel nodded."Zan and i were just chatting about Lonnie." Isabel explained. Max sat down next to Isabel and smirked. "Really? So is Lonnie anything like our Isabel?" Max asked His eyes flickered playfully. Isabel rolled her eyes. Zan smiled. "Max you are lucky to have such an honest sister. It's kewl they way you and her are so tight." Zan's street talk puzzled Max for a moment. "Oh! thanks." he replied "it was pretty decent of her to, tell you up front about the whole Kihvar and Vilandra thing."Zan added. Isabel smiled pretty at Max and batted her lashes a bit. Max snorted "That's our Isabel, the epidiney, of honesty." Isabel eyes went round, then she shot Max a dirty look.Zan suddenly yawned. "Sorry, guys i gotta call it a night. I'm beat." Max and Isabel nodded as Zan got up, then headed into Max's room. Then Max got up and smirked at Isabel. Sensing a snide remark coming on, Isabel spoke up. "Not a word Max!" Max feighned an innocent look. "What?" he asked innocently. "Good night Max." she said dryly. Max left chuckling softly.

Chapter 23

It was midnight when Maria's cellphone rang. Michael was way past annoyed.Truth was, he was pist off. Finding out that Max made serious plans, without filling in Isabel or him was bad enough, but to know that Maria was in on it, was the icing on the cake.Who did she think she was? After all she is his girlfriend right? "It's for you." Maria said giving him a dirty look. Michael takes the phone ignoring her look and reclines on his couch."Hello?" he asks with a big sigh. "Still arguing?" Max asks. "Same ole same ole, I think she's wrong, she thinks otherwize." Michael replies. Maria snorts and heads into the bathroom for a shower."Giver her a break Michael, she went because Liz was going." Max said defending Maria."Yeah," Michael replied "Cuz some future version of you told her too?I mean, where the hell was my future self to stop you?" "You died." Max replied dryly.The responce momentarily stunned Michael into silence."How do we know this future version of you isn't a skin?"Michael asked after recovering from his shocked silence. "Because I trust Liz, and she believes he is who he says he is." Max replies earnestly. "Yeah, but why Liz?Max? Why not one of us?" Michael asks. Michael hears Max sigh. "I can only imagine it has somthing to do with the connection we have. I mean, when i think about it, the only person capable of splitting us up, would be her.She was the only one capable of pulling it off." Michael frowned into the phone."That might not be a good thing Maxell. I mean, who's wearing the pants in your relationship?" Max snorts "Michael, you are in no position to give me advice on relationships.I mean, the way you handle the Courtney situation, and then hurting Maria in the end." Michael hated it when Max pointed out his mistakes, and immediatly became defensive. "What's wrong with how i handled Courtney?" Michael asked angrily. Max sighed "Michael, you went to the girl's house, under the pretense that you might sleep with her." Max explained. "Yeah, So, I didn't sleep with her." Michael retorted "But you...". Max gave a tired sigh."Michael, i didn't call for an argument. I'm calling cuz we need to confront Tess, and we need to do it tomorrow." There was silence on Michael's end of the conversation and then......"Okay." Michael replied. Max was the one to be stunned this time. Knowing that moments like this with Michael was rare, Max told Michael where and when to meet him and the others.
Michael put Maria's phone on the coffee table, after ending his conversation with Max. He glances at the bathroom in consideration. Had he done the Courtney situation all wrong? At, the time it had seemed the right way to handle the situation. Courtney offered herself, and He had used it as a way to get information.Michael sighed.He loved Maria, more than he was willing to admit.It had never been his intention to hurt her.Max was right, he should not have used Courtney's interest in him.But, what was done, was done. There was only one thing to do. Michael picked up the phone and dialed Liz's cell phone.
"Hello?" Liz answered in a groggy voice. "Liz it's Michael!" Michael said in a whisper."Michael? it's one a.m. is there something wrong?" Liz asked worriedly. Michael cringed he had forgotten the time. "No, everything is fine. I mean, i was wondering if you could help me with something."
It was ten a.m before Liz and Ava rouse from their sleep. No, sooner that she opened one eye, Liz's cell phone rang."Hello?" she asked into her phone."Hey." Max's voice replied warmly."Just waking?" he asked curiously "Yeah," she replies groggily with a stretch. "I am going to help my dad with the morning rush. Meet you there? Liz asks. "Sure." Max replies simply. "Okay, see you then." Liz replies and hangs up the phone, to find Ava watching her curiously. "What?" Liz asked her. "Do you think you love Max because, he saved you, or because of who he is." Ava asked looking at Liz intently. Liz sat up in her bed. "Both i guess. Max and had been friends long before he saved me. So, i guess that helps. Later on that night after he healed me.Max showed up at my house, he made a connection with me.I saw everything, i felt everything. I saw me as he saw me. It was...incrediable.He thought i was the prettiest girl he had ever seen." Liz replied getting a dreamy far away look in her eyes But i love Max so much more than for that.It's hard to explain really, almost like we have loved each other, before we even met. Like Max healing me, woke up a pre exsistant love."
Hearing those words, stirred a memory deep within Ava's consiousness. It danced in her mind, just out of reach. Whatever it was,Ava was sure it had to with Liz. Why else would it suddeny appear? The more she heard Liz tell her story of her and Max, The more Ava was intrigued. How is it, that their love, was stronger than the pull of Max's destiny? She remember back when her and Zan's dreams awoken them to their destiny. They had only considered themselves friends but a bit closer, like siblings. When the dream awoken them, she and Zan had become intimate. Their lovemaking had been amazing! But, Ava could tell that Zan's heart was not in it. They made love only a few times more after that. Ava's heart was broken,and she just couldn't allow her relationship with Zan, turn into that wich Lonnie and Rath had. So Ava and Zan drifted back, to being friends.
"Ava? Hey Ava, are you okay?" Liz asked with a pang of guilt. It was the same look the hybrid got everytime she brought Max up.It was the look of being far away and sad. Liz gave herself a mental kick.Had this girl been Tess, she would have fully enjoyed, the girl's discomfort. But, this girl, was the polar opposite of Tess."I'm sorry Ava i didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Liz said looking down at her feet. Ava waved Liz's apology away. "Hey, don't sweat it." the hybrid replied nonchalantly.Liz looked up at Ava.She wasn't smiling but the look of guilt had vanished from her features.Ava rolls her eyes at the brunette."Will you stop getting all sympathetic on me?I'll live!" Ava demanded almost annoyed. Liz smirked at Ava then got up from her bed."I gotta help my dad downstairs with the breakfast rush, want anything?" The thought of eating a free hot meal caused Ava's stomache to growl in responce.Ava blushed at her stomache's responce and nodded.When Liz was finally dressed in her uniform, she rushed out of the room "Hey Liz!" Ava called out, suddenly remembering."Don't forget the..." Liz grinned "Tabasco sauce?" she asked poking her head in the doorway. Ava grinned back and nodded.

Liz was pulling her hair into a ponytail, when Maria rushed to her side. "Somthing is soooo up with spaceboy." Maria said handing Liz an order pad. Liz eyes were sparkling with humor when she glanced over at Michael cooking in the kitchen. Liz arched hr eyebrows at Maria. "Why do you say that?" Liz asks tying on her alien face apron.Maria gave a snort. "He's been wearing an I'm sorry Maria expression on his face for most of the morning." Liz bit her bottom lip to keep from grinning.When she was safe from giving herself away, Liz finally spoke. "Well, you should let the poor boy apologize." "I will." Maria replied "After he squirms a bit.I mean after all, he almost slept with Courtney." Liz sighed as she grabbed a decanter of freshly brewed coffee." Maria, the keyword being almost." Liz pointed out to her best friend. "Besides, do you really think his pateince will hold out that long?" Liz asked. Liz's point was made, when Michael chimed the order bell, with a look of impatience. The two girls looked at each other "Nope." they said in unison, and then went to take care of their seperate orders.

Chapter 24


It was Eleven O'clock when the morning rush, began to die down. As if on cue, Max enters the quieting cafe. On any other occasion, Liz would finding his entrance comforting and even exciting.But seeing Max enter the cafe, caused Liz tense.In only less than an hour they were going to confront Tess. Nobody knew exactly how she wasa going to react. Max takes a seat up at the counter, and gives Liz a grim look. "Is it about that time already?" Maria asked coming up from nowhere.Liz pockets her pen and order pad and nods slowly. Liz approaches Max."Cherry Coke?" She asks already knowing the answer. Max gives her a small smile and nods.A Moment later, she's back with his drink. Liz takes off her alien apron as she comes around the counter, and takes a seat next to Max. "Is everyone ready?" Max nods again. "Michael said he would be here shortly oafter eleven. Liz is pulling out her ponytail when she grimaces."And Tess?" she asks. Suddenly the cafe's bell chimed. Maria gave a sour look. " Alive and accounted for.." She said dryly, looking in Tess's direction. Tess was wearing yet another provacative outfit, of hip hugging jeans, and a pink "V" colored shirt, that gave a glimpse of her cleavage. Maria gave a snort of disgust. "I'll be out back changing." she said quietly to Liz. Liz nodded in responce.
Tess was being very blantant about her intentions again; and she held her chin a little higher as she walked past Liz and took a seat a the first available booth. Liz slammed her apron on the counter a little louder than she intended.She was losing control of her anger again. And then suddenly Max's warm fingers entwinded with hers from beside her but out of Tess's view."Easy Liz", Max said sootheingly "You're going to give yourself away!" Liz gave him a puzzled look. Max gave her hand a squeezed, and she glanced down. Green energy zipped all across the surface of her hand.She gave Max a panicky look. "Try to relax Liz,it only seemms to do this when you experience intense emotions." Max said, suddenly making the connection.Then suddenly, Liz had a flash, she only saw two images, but it was enough to make her understand.

Max was right, some how the strength of her emotions, dictated the strength of her energy. Liz made a mental note, to try out this theory with Max at a later date. Liz closed her eyes briefly and cleared her mind.After doing so she opened her eyes and glanced back down at her hand. The green energy was nowhere to be seen. "You better go sit with her, before she suspects." Liz said finally referring to Tess. Max gave a tight smile and nodded.
When he took the seat across from Tess at the booth, she glanced in Liz's direction curiously. "So has she explained herself to you?" Tess asked still looking at Liz. Max rubbed his forhead."Sort of." he replied. Tess frowned "Sort of?" she asked Max let out a tired sigh " It's complicated and she wont give any details.It's like some secret."
The cafe's entrance bell chimed again, and the rest of the gang piled in. Not interested in the topic anymore, Tess smiled when she saw Isabel and Michael enter the cafe."Good Isabel and Michael are here." Tess said with an air of relief. Max gaurded his emotions, he had to play the unknowing victim to the "T". Tess immediatly got up and joined the others. "Isabel." Tess said with a smile. Btu, the look Isabel gave her in return, was anything but friendly.Isabel regarded Tess with a cold icy glare, that clearly stated,"back off!" and Michael, although his look was not as harsh as Isabel's, was obviously not happy to see her. Whatever was the cause for those looks,Tes was certain she would hear about it once they found a secluded place to talk.

Chapter 24 (Part 2)

Lonnie frowned,as she stared through the binoculars "Well, somthing's going down." Rath stared at the cafe curiously and asks "Why you see Zan and Ava?" Lonnie let out a sigh of frustration. "No." She replied, and set down the binoculars. "But , somthing is definalty going down with them.They are all giving Ava's dupe strange looks and stuff." Rath grabbed the binoculars "oh! hey! Looks like this Zan has himself two chicks! Lucky dog! I think i like this Zan!" Lonnie gave a snort, then snatched the binoculars away. "Oh please! obviously one of them, doesn't know she's getting played! Besides, dark haired one is human." Lonnie pointed out. Rath gave her a half smirk. "I'd do her." Lonnie rolled her eyes and shook her head."Hey! " Rath exclaimed "they're moving!" Lonnie looked at him and smiled. "Let's go."
It was when Michael and Isabel stepped into the cafe, that Liz started having this "feeling". The distinct feeling of being watched. She glanced around the cafe,seeing if anyone caught her eye. Afirl with dark hair and green eyes caught her eye, but she seemed harmless enough. Liz glanced further out, to the outside of the cafe. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. So, Liz decided to dismiss it as gitters. When Max got up and joined the others, everyone agreed that the meeting would better off discussed at the podchamber. Everyone paired up, and took off , never noticing the extra car that followed carefully , quite a distance away,
When they reached their destination, Rath groaned."They stopped in the middle of nowhere!" he complained. Lonnie gave him a dry look. "Would you just chill! they came here for reason! you just got to be patient!" she replied grabbing the binoculars once again from underneathe the passenger seat.. Rath watched as the others approached a strange formed boulder. "Do you see Zan and Ava?" Rath asked, squinting to get a better look. Lonnie gave another frustrated sigh"No!"
Zan had been just about ontime this meeting his dupe and the others were having when, Max's father decided to have a "somthins different about you" chat with him. Although Phillip had no idea that he was talking to another person other than Max, Zan managed to play along. When he finally managed to get out of the house,he was pleasently durprized to find Ava waiting for him disgused as Tess. "I wasnt about to do this without you." She explained.
As, they slowly pulled up to the podchamber, Zan and Ava noticed a car they had never seen b4. They looked at each other puzzled. Ava shrugged "Maybe its that guy Kyle's car?" Ava asked with just a little too much hope in her voice. Zan stared at her curiously for a moment. Who was thid guy Kyle? Zan had remebered him from his conversations with Max. He knew that,this "Kyle" was dating Liz before Max hooked up with her. Now Ava was interested him? He knew that she was, the sparkle in her eyes, after mentioning his name, was a dead giveaway.
As Zan, sat in the driver seat contiplating this new information, he saw two familular forms walking towards where the podchamber should be."Is that who I think it is?" Zan said pointing towards the pair. Ava squinted for a moment, before her her face went ash white. "Jesus Christ." Ava cursed "What hell are they doing here?" She asked bewildered. " I dunno," Zan said still confused." But they came pretty damn far, just to find us; Its not like them." Zan pointed out. Ava's eyes went wide. "Zan, the summit!" Ava stated suddenly remembering. Zan sneered"I guess its safe to say, if they came all this way for the summit, then they will still kill to go home."
The moment everyone was in the podchamber, Tess spoke. "Theres another alien in Roswell. the blonde stated. Michael snorted in disgust."Big surprize there!" Tess narrowed her eyes at Michael, but then approached Max. "Max tell him." Max gave Tess a furious look. "He knows knows Tess, they all know." Tess looked at him confused. "So why arent we doing something about it, if everyone knows already?" she asked angrily. "Because there is no other alien Tess." Liz said in a low and threatening voice and then tossed Tess's diary at her feet. Tess's face paled when she saw the black leather book at her feet. She had been discovered. She knew right then, any chance of returning to Antar was gone. "How could you do this to us?" Isabel asked venhemesly "I trusted you! i was your friend! and you would just , just turn us in to Kivar?!" Isabel's hurt was obvious in her tone.Maria just crossed her arms and shot Tess dirty looks, as she stood next to Micheal, who was now rubbing Isabel's shoulder in comfort. Liz approached Tess again, her hands now crackling with green energy. "This whole time, you were spewing crap about, Destiny and how you and Max were engineered for each other! This whole time you planning to have him killed!" Tess hadn't look into Liz's eyes, as Liz yelled at her angrily, her eyes were too busy wondering why Liz's hands were crackling with green energy.
Whatever the reason, Tess knew she was in serious trouble.

Tess looked Max alarmed."She has powers now? How did this happen? When did this happen?" Tess asked suddenly giving Liz a nervous look. Liz smirked and took a step forward. "Max and i discovered it right after we...uh..made love." Tess shot a Max a stricken look. " Ugh! Is this true?" Tess asked, her eyes beginning to shimmer with tears. Max lifted his chin slightly in defiance. "It's true, Liz and I made love." Anger now simmered in Tess's blues eyes as she clenched her fists open and close. "I thought you remembered me, I thought you remembered the love we once had." Max gave Tess a dangerous look. "Seems, you've remembered me for quite sometime, and yet, you still made plans with Nesado to have me killed!" Max growled at her. "You were different then!" Tess spat back at him, equally dangerous. "You are my family! and even when i helped you see, you still turned away from me!" Liz gave a disgusted snort, wich made Tess face her. Even though Liz's instincts warned not to push Tess's anger any further, Tess was on the verge of exploding. God only knew what she was capable of doing when provoked. "Family? god Tess! you may be family in the technical sense, but originally you never even cared for him! you were Kivar's lover!" Liz was right, but Tess did not care. It didnt matter who she had been in the past, all that mattered was getting home. If she played her cards right, Kivar will allow her to come home unharmed: but not without Max's child.Liz was all thaty stood in the way of that; if she could just get Liz out of the picture, she might able to seduce Max, with the help of a mindwarp.
Lonnie had her ear pressed against the enormous boulder.When she pulled her head away, she gave Rath a dissappointed look."What? what are they saying in there?" he asked. "Looks like their Ava had an agenda all of her own.Lonnie replied. "Turns out the bitch was a lover of Kivar!"She let out an angry sigh. "Wich means they wont be to eager to accept any plan,regarding going back home, too easily" Rath throws up his hands. "Great, just great!" he complains angrily." Now what?" Lonnie smirked as she looked down at her hand. She let it glow wih energy briefly. "Now, we make them see things our way." catching on to what she ment, Rath grinned evilly"Yup,I'm down with that!" Lonnie began hovering her hand over the surface of the boulder.Rath frowned at her ,confused."Lonnie what the heck are you doing?" Lonnie shook her head at a him."I am looking for a way in. I saw that Zan wave his hand over somthing, over here and the rock just opened." a moment later, a glowing handprint appeared on the boulders surface. Lonnie flashed Rath a I-Told-You-so smirk, then put her hand on the print.
Future Max, stood peering out from a building across the street. He had been watching Liz for most of the morning. When the others began to pile into the cafe, Max knew it wouldn't be long. He had to get to Liz some how. She and the others needed to know, that Rath and Lonnie had arrived, and that Liz's life was in danger. But how? He couldn't let his present day self, see him. As he watched Liz and the others leave the cafe, he searched his memory to find their destination and it quickly came to him .The podchamber.Again his "flash" played in his mind. It was then he made the connection.The podchamber is where Tess attacks Liz, and where Lonnie and Rath make their entrance."Shit!" he curse softly. He had only one person to turn to, Kyle Valenti. After Liz had Kyle pretend to sleep with her, he had requested some "space" from the "Alien amoung us" scenerio.Kyle had told Liz that if things had gotten so bad, that she had to pretend to sleep with him, he wasnt exactly eager to jump into the clan right away.Max sighed. Kyle was not exactly going to be thrilled seeing him at his front door;But right now, he was the only person he knew who had a car available.

Chapter 26


With a towel wrapped around his waist, and water droplets trailing down his well form chest, Kyle Valenti stepped into the kitchen. Grabbing a carton of milk from the fridge, he open it and drank . Kyle smirked to himself and looked at the carton.Since he and Liz pretended to "sleep" together, Tess has been out of the house more often.Kyle enjoyed thouse moments. He could anything he wanted, including walking around in just a towel and leaving the toilet seat up.
Although, walking around in a towel could have led to one thing. But, Kyle gave that up, when he decided his friendship with Liz was more important that a nite in the sac with Tess.Kyle was about to take another swig from the carton, when a knock came from the door. He frowned and consider the door for a second. Who on earth could be at the door? his dad just started his shift, and Liz and Tess were off to a big meeting with the others.
When Kyle opened the door, Max was shocked to see him in his youth again. The last time Max saw Kyle, he and Ava's unborn child was showing an intolerance to earth's atmospere, and they were packing for a trip to Antar.Now he stood before Max, seventeen again. here was no trace of the grey that Kyle had aquired over the years, or the well trimmed gotee, he was sporting right b4 the trip to Antar.
Kyle sized up the stranger.Was this Zan that Liz had told him about?"Are you Zan?" Kyle asked, Max simply shook his head. As soon as he noticed Max's greys, he suspected it someone else. Kyle frowned."Max?" Max could tell from Kyle confusion, thay Liz had not explained who or why he was here."Yeah Kyle, its me." Max replied, not giving anything away.Kyle narrowed his eyes, as he examined Max form." Wow, uh you look um," Kyle stammered as he searched his memory for a more polite word. "Old?" Max offered. Kyle looked umcomfortble."Thats not what i was going to say..but" Max gave an impatient sigh."Kyle, i need a ride to the podchamber. We need to hurry, before its too late!" Kyle just stood there looking puzzled."Why, whats going on?" Kyle asked.Max's exspression grew desprete. "Kyle please! we don't have much time!" Max pleaded. Kyle's brows furrowed. He had been avoiding the whole group for the last week and half. When he saw how torn up Liz had been, about getting Max fall out of love with her, Kyle was convinced, that being involved with Max Isabel and Micheal, would only disrupt his life."Why whats the rush?" Kyle asked, ready to say no."Liz is in danger, she and everyone else!" Max rasped. Kyle's eyebrows shot up in surprize."Shit man! why didn't you say that in the first place!" Kyle exclaimed as he rushed to his bedroom to dress.
Kyle face was set in a grim exspression, as Max explained about Tess, and her betrayal. "And what is your part in all of this?" Kyle asked, already sensing the answer."I came here to help Liz stop Tess. Kyle, I am tthe reason Liz pretended to sleep with you." Max explained. Kyle let out a snort of disgust."Do you have any idea how much it killed her to do that? to break Max's um you heart?" Kyle asked angrily, still watching the road.Max looked down at his lap guiltly. "Technially that wasn't me. I mean that was me, from another time and alternate future." Max explained patiently."But, none of that matters now, cuz if Liz dies, all of this will be for nothing."
Everyone stood glaring at Tess angrily.Then Max shook his head in disappointment. "I can't believe i was stupid enough to marry you in that life." Tess rolled her eyes "It was a miracle, you could even see the haze of your broken heart.But, you saw me." Tess replied arrogantly lifting her chin slighty as she did.
"Another mindwarp Tess?" Maria asked accusingly. She had listened to more than she could stand."He wishes!" Tess countered. Maria went to take a step towards Tess, but suddenly found Michaels arm stopping her. "Michael what are you doing? she asked heatedly. "Stopping you." he said simply. "Yeah i see that," she snapped. "Why?" Michael gave her an impatient sigh. "Um cuz she can change the molecular structure of things and um, you can't!" Maria arched an eyebrow."What's your point?" she asked Michael growled at Maria's impudence. Maria flashed Michael an look of disbelief. "Michael! if she had gotten her way, Alex would be dead right now!"
Alex's eyebrows shot up in surprize. Isabel flashed a panic look in Maria's direction, and then glared at Tess accusingly. "Tell em Liz" Maria demanded ,crossing her arms.Liz glared at Tess vehnemously,"Its true, in that other time, she killed him through a mindwarp."Liz confirmed. It had been the last straw for Tess. Now she was being held responceable for somthing she hadnt done yet? "Oh hell no!" Tess thought to herself. She needed a plan, anything that could get her out of the podchamber, and a chance to get miles away from Roswell, New Mexico.Then, it came to her. Tess closed her eyes, and for a few seconds. For those few seconds, all everyone saw was Tess standing in shock, over their confrontation. Then suddenly Tess was behind Liz. Her right arm held Liz by the neck, the other held Liz's hands behind her back.
It took a moment, for everyone to realize what had happen. All eyes flew to Tess who was now holding a struggling Liz. Her eyes were wide with fear, as she struggled to maintain her balance. Max's eyes suddenly flashed angrily at Tess as he raised his right hand. "Don't even think about it Max," Tess growled."None of you better not try anything, or i'll mindwarp her to the point, where she wont even remember who she is." Then Tess began to back up to the podchamber entrance.
Then suddenly, an unseen force threww Tess and Liz to the podchamber floor. "Mind if we join in on the party?" a female voice asked.

Ava and Zan simply stared as they watched, Lonnie and Rath enter the podchamber. "Damn!" Zan cursed "They managed to get in somehow." Ava gave a frustrated sigh "They must have watched Max open it."
The sound of screeching tires was suddenly heard behind them. When Zan looked behind he saw Future Max rushing towards him. " Lonnie and Rath," Future Max rasped trying to catch his breath. "They're here!"
"yeah," Ava replied, "We know, they already entered the podchamber." When Ava regonized Kyle face, she smiled briefly. This wasnt the time to flirt, but she allowed herself a quick look. Kyle Valenti was very much in shape, much to Ava's delight.
"We're going to have sneak up on them." Future Max said matter of factly."If this Lonnnie and Rath are anything like the ones from my time, they will do anything to get back to Antar. Including betraying each other." Ava gave a snort."Typical."
Zan gave a serious look."I say we just go in there blasting." Future Max nods "We dont have any other choice. Becareful though, Liz will be close to the entrance of the podchamber. Zan looked at the future Max puzzled. "Are you sure?" Future Max nods "Yes, i saw it in a vision, or more like a flash from my past."
"Huh?" Zan asked still very much puzzled. Future Max sighed impatiently."As, this time changes, so does my memories. The last new memory i had, i saw Tess and Liz thrown to the ground." Future Max explained. "I am assuming, whatever threw them down, was one of them two." he finished, pointing in the direction inwhich Lonnie and Rath dissappeared into. "Shit!" Future Max cursed.
"What?" Ava asked warily. Future Max cringed slightly "I can't go in." Zan suddenly looked at Max bewildered "Why the hell not?"he asked.Max looked at them apologetically."I cannot be within the same space ,as my "current" self.If i come in contact with him, um, me... I will cease to exist in any timeline or alternate past or future." Zan's eyebrows shot up briefly, as the impact of Max's words hit him. Did no Max mean no him as well? He couldn't allow that to happen! "Fine, but you should hide somewhere around here, til everything is taken care of." Zan explained. Future Max nods"Fair enough." Ava was still glancing in Kyle's direction. "What about Valenti here?" she asked thumbing in his direction. Kyle glanced at Future Max, waiting for answer."He's to go with you." Future Max replied."I need him to get my present day self out of there, once the situation, has been taken care of."

Lonnie crinkled her nose as she looked around the podchamber. When Rath entered, he too gave a look of distaste. "And we thought the sewer was bad." he snorted taking a side next to Lonnie and crossing his arms with a smirk. With a wave of her hand, Lonnie helped Liz and Tess to their feet.
The moment Liz's feet were planted firmly to the ground, she went to Max's side, where he quickly looked her over for any cuts or marks."Are you okay?" he asked tenderly. Liz still shocked, simply nodded.
"Awwe aint that sweet."Lonnie said mockingly "But enough with the public displays of affection or I am gonna puke." Lonnie then turn to towards Tess, just in time to see the look of anger, that Tess flashed at Max and Liz. Lonnie waves a hand over towards Tess, and in an instant, the blonde is pinned to the podchamber wall. Lonnie sways smugly towards Tess til she is practically nose to nose with the other hybrid. "Don't sweat it blondie, Ava never stood a chance with Zan either." Tess gave Lonnie a puzzled look. "Who are you? and who is Ava and Zan?" Lonnie back up a little from Tess and smirked in Max's direction. "Zan, is Max's duplicate and the true name of, the king of Antar. Ava, is your duplicate, and former name." Lonnie informed Tess."What you haven't seen them?" Lonnie asked. Tess shook her head. "I am surprized. They have been hanging out in Roswell for a few days now."Lonnie said. Tess's eyebrows shot up. "The other Alien." she mumbled to herself. Lonnie grinned. "That would have been Ava." Lonnie said almost proudly."Speaking of wich." Lonnie said suddenly turning to her audience."Where is Zan and Ava?"
Michael suddenly stepped forward."They are not here." Michael growled. Lonnie approached Michael and then circled around him examining his form. "So this is how Rath could've turn out huh?"Lonnie asked, then glanced over an obviously upset Maria, and then over to Isabel, who was still clinging to Alex. "You know, humans don't fit into the plans our mother planned out for us."
"It was through our connections with humans, that helped us discover who we are." Max shot at Lonnie, and then smiled warmly at Liz.
Lonnie rolled her eyes."Connection or no connection, your only place,is at your mate's side." Lonnie then sauntered over to Rath, who grabbed her by the bottom, as they kissed roughly.
Maria went pale then green and held her stomache, as the two briefly groped each other. Isabel stared wide eyed in horror, as Alex frowned at the spectical. Michael staggred slightly in shock, as Max and Liz stepped back and cringed.
When Lonnie and Rath broke from their embrace, both were grinning from ear to ear."Alien sex baby! except no imitations! Rath exclaimed, then wagged his tounge.

Hey Everyone i know its been a while sorry. I got a request to start a book by two good friends with connections..so on top of writing this,i am writing an non-Roswell related story. Plus i am getting ready to move..so i have been soooo busy...so without further ado...heres the next chapter

Rath was fuming. He had no desire to be on the earth anymore. Here, he was nobody. But there, on antar he was the king's second in command.He had respect and honor. He had his own band of followers, people who believed he should have been king. But on earth, he was just some hybrid, that no one but him, and the others could know about. Once again, Zan was being stubborn. It had been an aspect of Zan's personality to always take the safe route and to trust no one! It had been what kept them safe all this time but now it was standing in Rath's dreams of greatness.

"Like you said," Zan said stepping up to Rath, practically nose to nose."They want the royal four," He says smugly looking Rath up and down."Not the second." Rath clenched his fists. "But, but its our way home!" Rath sputtered. Zan seemed barely concerned. "It could be a trap."Zan replied, his voice low, signaling he would speak no more on the topic.

Lonnie was very familiar with the tone of Zan's and she knew they wouldn’t any further with him. "What about the granilith?" she asked, hoping something in Zan's eyes would give away it's whereabouts. When all eyes suddenly flashed up at her, Lonnie knew everyone there, knew to which she was referring to.Lonnie smiled with satisfaction. She had a feeling,it wouldn’t be too far from the other set of dupes.

Liz felt Max stiffen at the mention of the granilith. All Lonnie and Rath had to do was put two and two together, to figure out that it was in the next chamber, behind the empty pods. Liz had a feeling Max was not about to let Lonnie and Rath figure anything out. "What do you want with the granilith?" Max demanded. Lonnie smirked at him. "He knows where it is." Lonnie thinks confidently to herself. "It's the key to establishing peace, back on our home world." she explains. "Some kind of religious artifact."

Liz didn't like the look in Lonnie's eye. She didn’t trust the short haired, punk dressed dupe, as far as she could throw her. She didnt know if it was because the actual existance of a future version of Max, or power she was told that was contained within the granilith . Whatever the case, Liz would do whatever it takes to prevent Lonnie from getting her hands on it.

When she made up her mind to do just that, as if on cue power once again crackled to life in her hands.Liz hid them behind her quickly as if not to bring it to anyone's attention. Lonnie arched an eyebrow at Max. "You know where it is don't you?" she asked. Max clenched his jaw."Even if i did, i certainly wouldn't tell you." Max shot at her.Lonnie stepped back momentarily stunned. But then quickly recovered and furrowed her brow. "What do you care? you probably like it here, with your human girlfriend!" Liz cringed back slightly. Then glared angrily back at Lonnie."What are you gonna do? go play hero and rescue an entire planet? and take down Kihvar? What? you and them? and your antarian wannabes?" Lonnie asked pointing to Alex and Maria.


Max stepped forward. "You can't have the granilith Lonnie!" Rath gave an impatient grunt and step towards Max, but suddenly found himself nose to nose with Michael. "Don't even think about it." Michael growled to Rath.

Tess watched the conversation curiously.It didnt take a geinus to figure out that, this confrontation would soon lead to a battle of powers.It was in that moment of distraction, that she would make her escape.
