Summary: New Arrival. I'm just going to write her having the baby then I'm going to move on to a few years. I've decided to finish off the loose ends so be warned. EOTW.

"Come on push! We have a head!"
"Ugggghhhhhaarrggh!" I screamed as I pushed hard and then suddenly the room was even more alive. Maria and Beth began clearing up the baby and I looked down trying to see it. I was exhausted but I wasnt going to sleep until I had laid eyes on my son. Isabel took him from Beth and handed me the bundled baby in the blanket. He had the bluest eyes like me and a little tuft of brown hair sticking up on top of his soft little head
"My son" I whispered and then sleep conquered me.
I woke up and Alex was in the room holding our son and he had the biggest grin on his face. I gave him a smile but I was still exhausted, I didnt feel any pain down there though for some reason.
"I healed you up after the Aunts and my mom let me in, they were cooing over him for half an hour before they let me and the others see him and you"
"Thanks for healing me. Can I hold him now?" I asked holding out for him and he brought him over and laid him in my arms. He had the most tiniest hands and his eyes were still shut
"Is that normal? To have his eyes closed?"
"Perfectly" he assured me as he climbed on next to me
"What about the White Room?" I asked feeling the worry of going back there. I didnt want that to happen.
"Your dad has a few contacts and they're going to be "taking it down"" he told me and I nodded and rested my head against his shoulder. This is where I belonged...

2014

... I looked out the window of my fathers house and saw Josh playing with his uncle. I poured water into the kettle and put it on, I went back in the living room and found my nieces and nephews playing on the rug. I smiled and there was a knock at the door. I hurriedly went to get it knowing full well who it was. I opened the door and jumped up into his arms and kissed him senseless.
"Ahem care you unhand our boy Serena?" asked Liz with a grin. I dropped down and smiled at him
"Later sexy" I promised him and his face lit up. Alex had got his parents from the airport and Thanks Giving dinner was almost ready. I had plenty to be thankful for. The White Room mysteriously blew up five years ago and I had a son and a boyfriend who I couldnt get enough of and I was top of my class at college. Yep little old me had enrolled at College and under the advice of Liz and Max I was doing Quantum Physics, I'm not really sure why they wanted me to but I guess it's another thing that comes in handy. I enjoy it and that's all that matters. I'm also taking art thanks to my brother in law Michael who says it's really relaxing and I have to agree there and also I'm taking reflexology because my life is stressful enough with all those classes and having a kid and steady family life.
"So what time are your parents getting here?" asked Evie. Evie had become one of my best pals since I began to date her brother. We had been strong and steady for the past five years ever since Josh was born.
"Their plan should be coming in about five then they should arrive here about half six just in time for dinner" I told her glancing at the clock. It was ten to five now so it wouldnt be too long.
The turkey was still in the oven and it would be done in forty five minutes. We all gathered in the living room to watch the football for a while, I called Josh and Kyle in from the garden and he came bounding in and jumped on top of me
"Kyle!" I laughed "Kyle get off!" we all laughed at my big brother sitting on me
"But mommy we were playing wrestling and Uncle Kyle just pinned you!"
"Pinned me eh?" I smirked and as soon as Kyle was off me Josh was up and sitting on me
"You're so easy mommy I pinned you too!" he grinned and I hugged him and kissed his cheek
"You should be careful or I might pin you and you know what happens then dont you?" I asked him mischievously
"No what?" he asked. I pushed him down off my lap and onto the couch and began tickling him
"TICKLE ATTACK!" I called and all the others got up and joined in. Soon enough we were rolling around the floor in fits of giggles coming down from the high of laughing some much. The doorbell rang and I regained enough decorum to get up
"That''ll be mom and dad" I announced as I left the room to answer it. I opened the door and got shoved inside by a blur of blood and dirt, a woman fell against me and I screamed
"Serena" she whispered and I froze at the voice "The war has started!"
"Hey got off her!" yelled Alex who came to see why I had screamed. He pulled her off me just as she died.
"Who is she?" asked Evie as they all came out to see. Alex held me in his arms as Kyle saw her. I closed my eyes tight and tried to block out the vision of her death. Kyle looked down and gasped, mom and dad appeared at the doorway laughing but their faces fell when they saw who was lying dead on the floor.
"Serena?" I heard dad whisper and I turned round and looked at them
"Mom... mom said that the war has started" I told them and Liz gasped and disappeared out the door followed by Max and Evie. Michael just pulled Maria close and held her. I had the feeling that they knew that this "war" had been coming for a long time.

"This isnt how it was supposed to be" said Beth and Isabel patted her shoulder
"Dont blame yourself, you couldnt have known it would start no matter what" she said "Our enemies came to earth? That's what he said remember? They would have come Tess or no Tess"
"Would someone care to explain what's going on? My birthmother comes to my house to tell me a wars started and then she dies and I have no idea what's going on!" I demanded and Max looked up at me
"A year before we left Liz got a visitor. He was from the future, he was me. He told her that the world would end if she didnt make me fall out of love with her. She did and Tess, a girl who lived her a long time ago, slept with me. I have another son out there somewhere"
"What?" snapped Alex and Evie
"You mean to tell me I have another older brother out there?" she asked in shock. He nodded guiltily
"Anyway he was human so we sent him away to live a normal life out of danger. The war must have started and we need a way to stop it, Serena... you're not going to believe this"
"What?"
"When Future Max came back from the future he said about you. That's why we said you should take Physics, you suggested that I go back. I think we need you to study the Granolith. I know Tess left with it but she also brought it back. The FBI have it stored thinking it's another ship" I sensed something from him and I looked round then back to him
"You want me to find this Granolith thing dont you?"
"Yes"
"And use it?"
"Yes..." he said sadly
"Then..."
"I know"
"I'll go back to before and I'll still be in the White Room, you'll never know me" he nodded and I closed my eyes tight
"Maxwell hold on, dont go jumping the gun here. We need the Royal Four right so maybe we can make it up?"
"How do you mean?"
"Well You, Me and Isabel and then the healed"
"The Healed?"
"Yes that would be Liz, Serena, Kyle and Valenti. Two guys and two girls, that's a Four on it's own. We should be unstoppable"
"Well then we have to keep our options open. We'll fine the Granolith and practice and hone our skills" he said and I stood up needing to get some air. If I went back in time then I would never find my father and I would not meet Alex and I could die in the White Room lost and alone like I foresaw. I had to get out of there before I went dizzy.
"I'm going out for a while" I told them and Alex stood up as I put my coat on
"Are you okay?"
"I have to think this through. I want to know what I'd be giving up if I went back" I told him and he nodded
"Do you want me to come with you?" he asked but I shook my head. I had to go see the one person who could possibly help me.
I walked all the way there and down the steps, she was working as usual and her boyfriend Sam was there, he lived in Phoenix and was now moving in with her. He was seventeen and reminded me of Alex a little.
"Hey Sidney" I said trying to smile but she saw through it
"What's wrong?"
"I can't tell you"
"Oh it's a religious problem?" she asked and I nodded "Sam I'm going in the back for a bit with Serena. I'll be back down soon" she said and kissed him.
"Okay spill what's wrong?"
"The enemies from Antar have come to Earth" she nodded worriedly "The world could end"
"Yes but we wont let it" we both turned and saw a tallish skinny man with red curly hair and a goatee standing there
"DAD!" cried Sidney, she hadnt seen her father in six years
"I'm sorry Ms Davis, but I'm not your father. My name is Larek and I've come to talk to Serena Valenti about the Royal Four"
"You're who?" I asked just as Sam was coming back in
"Sidney I'm grabbing some sandwiches you want?" Larek stared in disbelief before bowing to him
"Your Royal Highness!" he gasped and we all looked at Sam
"Why did you bow?"
"He's the Heir to the Antarian Thrown, Crown Prince Zan, Son of Zan King of Antar" Oh ok. Oh my god!
"Your Max's son?" asked Sidney
"Would someone explain what's going on"
"I think we should talk somewhere more private" suggested Larek. This planet gets weirder and weirder. Why did I buy into this? Oh yeah I'd be dead if I didnt.

So here we all are re-aquianted. I didnt think it would happen like this. Max is pacing back and forth staring at Sam, Zan, and then to Sidney and Larek.
"Your highness could you please sit down?" asked Larek and Max paused
"This is wrong! We need to sort this out, we have to find the granilith!"
"Max, honey, calm down. You know you shouldnt be getting worked up, you're not as young as you used to be"
"Dad..." began Sam but he trailed off when Alex looked up at him. This was too weird. I tried to concentrate on my so-called mission... would I really be able to do it? I shook my head and left the room, it was too crowded. Things had gone good for us I should have known something would disrupt that. I had a son and a boyfriend and a good home and I was doing well in college then this happened. I went into my bed room and pulled out my diary. Alex says it's corny when he catches me with it but I admire it, it lets me feel free. I can write anything in that little blue denim bound book and I dont have to worry.

I'm going to die... that thought scares me the most because so much is riding on this and I'm not afraid of dying I'm afraid of dying alone. I have forseen it and I'm preparing to give up my happiness, my son's life and everything I've held dear the last few years for the safety of the planet. Can I be strong enough to do it?

"Serena?" I looked up and saw Kyle standing there, my big brother, I smiled at the thought "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine"
"You're writing in your diary. I know something's wrong"
"I'm just feeling that's all. I love this little book" I tell him with a grin as I look at it. I run my fingers over it and then get up off my bed and head back downstairs.
"You mean you've had the granilith the entire time? And you never told me!" cried Max angrily at Larek
"Yes majesty, I've had it, but I kept it hidden from the enemies but now is the time to fight back"
"How can we do that? Look at us!" he said waving round the room "This is it! This is our army! How can we defend ourselves against a monster who has had years to build up thousands to fight against us!"
"The granilith can match any power Kivar sends against us" said Larek calmly "The question is who here is suitable to use it?"
"What do you mean "suitable"?" asked Kyle
"Only a certain energy type to use it. It's a signal of sorts only people with the seal can use it"
"You mean me?" asked Max
"Yes, you or anyone you've healed"
"What?" I gasped and all eyes turned to me
"You are Serena right?" asked Larek "You spent most of your time in the white room did you not"
"Yes I did"
"So this is our only chance?" asked Liz looking round "The only ones who can go are Max, me, Kyle, Serena or Valenti?"

With one hand high, you'll show them your progress.

"That is correct" he said
"No offense dad but you're too old" said Kyle causing a few chuckles around the group "Which leaves Max, Liz, Serena and me"
"A girl can't go" said Max
"Why not?" I asked
"Yes why not?" asked Liz crossing her arms
"Because it's dangerous" said Max seriously "The planets fate rests on this"
"And you dont think we'd be able to do it?" I asked
"I'll go I've gone before"
"No, you're not going. You're the king I'm sorry" I told him
"Who are you to tell me what to do!" he snapped at me and Kyle pushed him
"Dont talk to her like that!"
"Would you all stop!"
"When I was out of the white room for the second time I got a flash, a vision, and it was off me in the white room. I think I'm the one to go back"
"No" said Alex
"Why not?" I demanded
"I've seen what that would mean when you've kissed me. You'll die alone in the white room"
"That's what's got to happen" I smile at him and he shakes his head "Enjoy the memories because I'm going and I'm not coming back and this is what you'll leave behind" I touch his heart
"I dont think I could live without knowing you"
"You wont know or remember me. We'll have never met and you'll never miss what you dont think of or know"
"Please there has to be some other way" said Kyle looking to Larek
"She's decided. I'm giving her the crystal to go, I think we should say what we're thankful for since it is thanksgiving, my favourite of your strange holidays" he laughed. He pulled out the crystal and handed it to me. I sat down next to Alex and Max started

"I'm thankful for knowing this life. For loving Liz and having my family around me" there were nods and tears at his thanks. Then it was Liz's turn

Soon it was my turn, I was last and everyone was already in tears from hearing each others thanks for what they had. How was I going to let go?
"Me? I'm thankful for for getting hit by that car. I'm thankful for going into the White Room, I'm thankful for knowing my father, knowing Kyle and Alex, Evie, Isabel, Jesse, Max, Sidney, Sam, my son, Larek, Liz... all of you. I'm thankful for the world I'm thankful for everything because that's what I feel like I have. You've given me the world and now I have to go and give it back to you. Make sure you keep it safe"

"Serena" Alex jumped up but I shook my head
"Forget okay?" I whispered and Max held his son's shoulder as Larek and I left. Here I go...

"Are you ready?" Larek pulled me away from my diary. I had been staring at the cover for the last ten minutes.
"Yes" I said as I stood up "As I'll ever be"
"Right now just touch the skin of the granilith and then you know what to do"
"Yes" I smiled he touched it too and then we were inside it. Too late, no turning back now. Someone came into the chamber, it was Alex. I reached out my hand and he held his up trying to reach me but he was knocked down by the blinding flash. I was never going to see him again!
We were outside the destroyed pod chamber and Larek began to walk forward.
"Larek, could we make a stop before we go to Phoenix?"
"Sure where to?" he asked and I looked down at my Diary. I thought of the one person I wanted to have it the most. I smiled...

The drive to Phoenix was long and quiet, he didnt even let me put the radio on. Half an hour from my old friend Nessa's house I asked him something
"We'll cease to exist wont we"
"Yes we will"
"Will it hurt?"
"I dont know..."
"You'll cease to exist too wont you"
"Yes I will"
"Thank you" he turned his head and looked at me for a moment "Watch the road I dont want to die before I'm supposed to" I snapped
"I'm sorry"
"Dont be" I told him "You've been there looking out for us and we never knew. You deserve some kind of thank you"
"It's been lonely, I left my wife alone back on Antar to be here. She might never see me again"
"How sad" I whispered "Did you have any children?"
"Yes I had one son... I was so proud of him"
"What was his name?"
"You knew him, I never told him that I was his father. I'm not sure if I will be able to now"
"Wait" I pulled out a piece of paper and a pencil from the glove box. "Okay do you have a message for him?"
"Dear Michael... I'm proud to have known you. You have grown and changed a lot since you lived on Antar. I oversaw the recreation and I was broken when you died but to see you live on and you've made me so proud. Your father
Larek..." I wrote it down quickly then I slipped it into a makeshift envelope and wrote my dad's address on it then sealed it. I put it back on the dashboard
"I never knew Michael was your son"
"I know, he's going to be angry when he finds out. I've been in contact with them and I have never once told him"
"He'll just be happy to know his parents"
"Maybe... stay in the car if it doesnt go right" he told me as we turned the corner. I could see my younger self playing ball. He sped up and I closed my eyes I felt the thump and pain spread through my head. I didnt dare open my eyes. I couldnt, I just felt my memories slip away and then...

I walked into my office and opened the blinds. Light spread across the room and I turned and saw a book on my desk sitting there gathering dust. I shut my door and sat down and looked at it, it was a diary and at first I thought it was Liz's journal. But when I opened it I saw who it belonged to. Serena Valenti. I opened the first page and began to read it.

I'm out of the white room for the second time and Isabel gave me this diary to help me deal with what happened there. Dad and Kyle are okay, Kyle is angry at what that man did to me. I'm still unsure how to act, not only am have I been raped but I am pregnant. Max had to fix Kyle's hand, he broke three fingers when he punched that wall in anger. I can't believe he showed so much caring towards me after only knowing me for such a short time...

I skipped on not really believing what I was reading. This was the story of a girl by the name of Serena Valenti... my daughter. I flipped to the last written page, it was hardly filled at all.

I know what must be done and I am a little scared... but I guess that if I do this then I wont end up in the White Room after my accident. Alex wont save me and I could end up... dying but at least I wont be alone. It breaks my heart that I might never know Alex or Evie or my brother Kyle or my father...
I've decided and I hope he reads it before I get to back to Phoenix to... kill myself that sounds so weird. If he reads it then maybe he can find me. I would like to know him if only for a few moments, that way maybe I could remember what it was like to have a father... and Amy as a mother. Kyle and Michael and Maria and my son and Alex, I will always love him. I just want to say I love you dad... try to get to Phoenix I might need you...

I couldnt read anymore because the book began to fade. Why was this happening? I tried to grip it tighter but it was gone. It had to be alien, I pulled my private phone out of my pocket and speed dialled Liz, who ever this Serena was she knew about all of us.
"Liz? Yes it's Jim, you are near Phoenix arent you? Could you go to the hospital and see if a Serena Valenti has been checked in?"
I paced for half an hour and Amy came in, I was worried about this. If this girl who was she was then I had a daughter out there who could be in serious pain! I was half way across the room when the phone rang and I stopped stock still. I moved quickly and picked it up
"Yes?"
"There is a six year old girl in ICU and her mom is with her. Her name is Serena Valenti"
"I'm on my way" I said and hung up. I had a daughter... and she's alive...
