[Roswell 10/2/00]

Chapter Twenty Nine continued

The town of Stockholm was a beautiful and busy place. There were shoppers, cars, and huge business building every where. Liz looked out the wondow with her eyes pealed as she tried to find the building in the picture and then she spotted it a few feet ahead of her. "There it is!" She cried as Jessie pulled the car over to the curb.

"Liz are you sure you know what you are doing?" Isabel said as they got out of the car. "Yes I will meet you here at the back enterence in about 10 minutes." Liz said as she hugged her goodbye. "Be careful!" Isabel cried as her and Jessie made there way towards the back enterance of the tall building.

Liz rushed towards the huge doors and pinned her hair up and fixed her green colored suit as she unbottoned her white shirt a little as she ran faster to the enterance. She put on some lipstick last minute hoping she looked professional enough she composed her self before walking entering the building. A recepionest at the desk greeted her. "May I help you?" she asked. "Yes I am looking for a Mr. Stockman. My name is Liz Parker I am an assistent to congress Whitager." Liz said as she leaned her arm upon the desk looking the woman straight in the eye.

"One moment please. I'll try to reach him." The woman said as she picked up the phone while Liz waited paciently. "Um yes there is a Liz Parker here to see Mr. Stockman. She workes for congress Whitager. Ok I'll send her up." The receptionest said as she place the phone back on the reciever.

"He is located on the fourth floor room 111 on the right hand side." She said smiling. "Thank you." Liz said as she made her way to the elevator. One obstical down she thought to herself as she watched the numbers light up as she rose higher and higher. "Max I wish you were here." She thought as she pictured him at the hotel worried that she was alright. She had told him about Jessie and that she was going to the Olsons with Jessie and Isabel. He had insisted that he come but she pleaded.

"Max I will be alright. Ok." she said as looked up at him. "Liz it could be dangerious. You might need my help to protect everyone." He said looking at her concerned. "Your worried that I might be the one who needs protecting." She said as Max sighed knowing she was right. "I'll be fine. I can take care of myself you know that." She said as she came closer to him and batted her eyes as her fingure traced it's way up and down his chest.

"Besides I might need some protecting later you know how dangerious it can get at night." She said as she unbottoned one of his shirt bottons and batted her eyes before she kissed him. "Ok you can go." Max said breathlessly as Liz jumped with excitement. "I'll see you later." She beamed and closed the door.

The elevator stopped with a hult as Liz blinked her eyes coming out of her trace. She walked down the long corrador until she saw the golden numbers 111 on a large wooden door. She took a deep breath before she knocked. In a few seconds a very tall large man appeared. "Hi Mr. Stockman I'm Liz Parker very nice to meet you." She said as she shook his hand. "Please come in. I have been expecting you." He said as he closed the door.

"Where is she Jessie? She said that she would be here in ten minutes. I hope nothing happend to her." Isabel said as she became frantic. "Relax Isabel she will be here." Jessie said as he smilied at her.

"So Liz Parker. I hear you work for Congress Whitager. What brings you here to Sweden?" Mr. Stockman said as he light a cigar. "I am very sorry to say that Congress Whitager died sometime last year. I know she was a very important client of yours. Her company sent me here to tell you the news." Liz said as she looked at him with saddended eyes. "Thats a shame a dame shame she was an amazing person a special person you don't see many of her kind around now a days." he said deep in tought. "How did she die?" He asked.

"In a fire explosion." Liz said knowing it was Isabel who had killed her after Congress Whitager had found out about Max,Isabel, Michal and Tess and kidnapped Tess as a result hoping to kill Isabel as well.

"Congress Whitager had been working with a man named agent Pierce at the time. They were close you could say and things got really out of hand eventaully they lost touch with each other and when congress Whitager was trying to see one of there research plants there was an electrical problem which killed her." Liz sighed "She will me missed greatly." She said as Mr. Stockman poured himself some stoch. "Here have a drink." He said giving her a glass.

"Thank you." Liz said as she drank the strong liquid. "You see the reason I am here is that Congress Whitager told me that a Lenna Olson wored with you and I was wondering if you knew where she was so I could tell her personally about Congress Whitagers death." Liz said as her gripp tightened on the glass. "I am sorry but I am afraid she is no longer with us." he said. "Oh well is there an address I could reach her at." Liz said trying to compose herself. "No nothing she just left." Mr. Stockman said as he flipped through papers on his desk. "Oh well then could you tell me what it was she was working on while she was here. My staff needs to update our records." Liz said trying to get some information out of him.

"There is nothing. I am sorry tell your staff there is no paper work." He said as he started looking through his desk. "But how she was here for close to three months?" Liz asked surprised. "I am sorry Miss Parker there is no information." He said slamming a desk draw shut."Send my regards to the Whitager family. he said gruffly. "I have a meeting I am late for you can see yourself out goodbye" He said as he closed the door behind him.

Liz waited a few minutes and then flipped open her cell phone "I'm in." She whispered. "See you in a few." She said as she closed the phone. She then opened the door and looked both ways before she rushed towrds the elevator and made her way to the bottom corrador. Once there she opened a steal door and signaled them inside.

"There has to be something." Liz said as she flipped through files while Jessie and Isabel looked through the desk. "Wait I got it." Isabel said as the others crowed around her. "These are Leanna work papers. and her is a file." She said beaming. "Open it" Jessie and Liz whispered. Isbel opened the file however it ws not what she was expecting. In the file were a series on numbers 11100100100111011001. "God wht does this mean?" Isabel said puzzled.

"It means that she knows." Liz said as she quickly photoed copied the paper work. "Who knows?Knows what?" Isabel said "Leanna knows about Alex." Liz whispered as she folded the papers into her bag. "Come on we got to go! Quickly" Liz said as she lead the others out and closed the door behind her. Jessie and Isbael made there escape through the back enterance while Liz walked though the frount and thanked the receptionest.

The three meet outside and in a few minutes they were heading abck the the hotel. "Liz I know you think we are on to something but this is not going to help us locate him. It's just a series of numbers nothing more." Jessie said as he drove into the night. "Liz he is right. If we don't even know where Leanna is then how can we find Alex with just this piece of information?" Isabel said as she glanced towards Liz in the back seat with a saddned look in her eyes. "Your right." Liz sighed dame it she thought she knew they were right and here they were so close! Now here they were back to ground zero with nothing to direct them.

Liz sighed as she tried to fight back tears. What if her nightmares were coming true and her thoughts that Alex really was dead were real and that this trip to Sweden was a waste of time.... and... Jessies voice broke her thorughts.

"I don't know about you but I am ready for a nice relaxing dinner." Jessie said smiling. "I dought it will be relaxing. Knowing Maria god only knows what she has planned. Isabel said as her and Jessie laughed while Liz drifted to sleep hoping her dreams would comfort her.

Chapter Thirty

Liz entered the crowed lobby dressed in a long dark red dress and sat down at the bar. "Did you ever feel like you were so close yet so far" She sighed distressed from the days events. "You can say that again." An older middle age woman said sitting next to her. Liz tured to look at the woman. "I have been there many of times." She said looking at her smiling as she nodded to the bar tender "Two Rob Roys" She said as Liz looked at her "Oh no.. thats ok...I"She pleaded.

"Relax it's fine. Penny for your thoughts?" She smiled as she paied the bar tender as he placed there glasses down. "Well you see I am here in Sweden looking for a friend of mine only problem is I don't know where he is. You see we had know each other for years and were really close. But then I lost touch with him and I am trying to bring him back home.

But I don't even know where he is staying and everytime I think I am getting closer I end up at a dead end all over again. It reminds me of the time I applied to Harvard. I was so so close and my life long dream was shattered." Liz sighed as she sipped her drink.

"Harvard wow thats impressive. What happened?" The woman asked intreaged. "You see the day I had my interview I was in the middle of it when the room got really dizzy and I felt like I was going to pass out. I had a faiting spell during the start of that week but I thought I would be ok. Well it turns out I wasn't so I was sick for some time and as a result Harvard rejected me because my horrible interview." Liz sighed.

"Look honey it wasn't your fault you were sick. May I ask why Harvard?" The woman said smiling.

Liz laughed embarrased "It's really stupid your probably going to think I am a dork but when I was in ninth grade I read this article by Dr. Laura Holt, she's this professor who works in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, and it just gave me a totally different perspective on science. Since then I always wanted to be a Molecular Biologist...I know I know god this is so embarrasing." Liz said blushing.

"No go on this is facating." The woman said encourangly. "Ok I even dreamed of maybe one day to be the head of Molcular biology research at Harvard University but I think I was getting ahead of myself on that one. " Liz laughed "But I always wanted to be a scientist you know, the first time that I walked into a chemistry lab I just knew. There's this smell. The sulfur smell. I knew I was home. I just found that the world is this incredibly mysterious place, and science is just this way of figuring it out. With science, there are answers to everything. Facts. When you're conducting an experiment, you're in control of everything."

Liz smiled and then sighed as her mood changed to a more somber one. "I just wish science could help me now!" She said deep in thought. "Some things we just can't control,Sometimes though it's for the best, however if we are lucky we get second chances." The woman said taking her hand and squeezed it. "Thanks" Liz whispered.

"So who's the lucky guy? Is he the one your trying to find?" The woman said smiling as she looked at Liz's diamond ring. "Oh.. no...no...my friend Alex no Alex is not the one" Liz said as she shook her head smiling

"No my husband he is actaully over there" Liz said as she pointed to Max, who was playing a very intense game of chess with Micheal before she turned back to look at the woman. "Aw I see." She said smiling "A very handsome and special fellow yes, he is a one of a kind I can tell." She said nodding as Liz laughed. "So tell me how did you two meet?" The woman asked as she looked into Liz's glowing eyes.

"Well I had had a crush on him for years we both grew up in the same town, went to the same high school, we even were lab partners but we never said a word to each other. My parents own a resturant where I waitress at and one day there was a freak accident where a gun went off and I got shot. It turns out he was there that day and stayed with me until I was healed and the rest is history." Liz said beaming.

"Thats so romantic! he saved you." The woman beamed. "Actually she saved me" a voice said from behind. "Oh Max! I was actually just taking about you. This is Max Ms...Ms" Liz said as she pointed Max to the woman in frount of her. "Dr. Laura Holt please to meet you." She said as she shook Max's hand while Liz's draw dropped.

"Dr.... Dr... Laura Holt... it.. is an honor to meet you... my name is...Liz.. Liz Parker...well it's now Evans... but Parker... was my maden name!!" Liz stammered over her words as she shook her hand. "Pleasure to have meet you Liz." She said as she squeezed her hand. Liz eventually got hold of herself. "Never in a million years did I think I would meet you." She grinned. "Well you never know what's in frount of you until you stop looking for it. Some times fate has to take it course." She said beaming.

"You can say that again." Max said looking at Liz as Dr. Laura smiled at him. "Liz you are a beautiful and strong person with a heart thats pure. Thats a special gift. I am sure Alex will agree with me on that one. I hope you find him.Your grandma Claudia would of be proud to see how beautiful her granddaughter has grown up." She beamed as she hugged her. "You knew my grandmother?" Liz beamed with excitement.

"Yes Claudia and I were friends for years and I had always hoped to meet you some day she spoke so highly of you. I am sure Harvard will be honored to have such a fine woman working for them. I will see you in the Fall Welcome to Harvard." Dr. Laura said smiling. Liz was speechless "Why thank you." She whispered.

"Your welcome.I have to be going. I have a flight to catch. Max pleasure meeting you. I am happy to see that Liz finally meet her soulmate just as Claudia always hoped she would.Take good care of yourself Liz and good luck!!" She said as she hugged the two of them goodbye.

Max and Liz staired at the enterance way where Dr. Laura had been a few moments before trying to process all that had taken place. "We better go. Maria pospond dinner so that we all could make it at 10. She will be wondering where we are." Liz said as she squeezed his hand. "Well you know we don't have to go I mean we can have our own private dinner in our room complete with candel light." Max whispered as he kissed Liz's cheek.

"Max we really have to go you know how Maria gets and she already had to reschedule it so the least we can do is go." Liz sighed. "ok Miss Harvard but your going to miss the surprise." Max said as he started dragging her towards the lobby enterance. Liz pleaded trying to make him to stop. "Stop Max what surprise come on stop" She cried smiling. "No... too late you had your chance... come on we have a dinner date with Maria" Max beamed as he dragged her futher along.

"Stop Max please stop" Liz laughed and then he stopped and kissed her passionatly. "Alright you can see the surprise!" He whispered smiling "Really!" Liz whispered as her eyes grew with desire. "But after dinner" Max laughed as he pulled her along as the two walked hand in hand into the dinning room.

Chapter Thirity continued

"Wow I can't believe you guys made it out there alive. But next time please inform me." Jim said as he eat his delisious dinner. " Sure thing but don't worry it was really Liz who pulled it off you should of sene her. A real pro." Jessie said beaming as Liz blushed in embassasement. "Um well what can I say I have learned a lot ofver the years I guess it was though Nancy Drew skills coming into play again." She said laughing.

"Jessie I still can't believe the that West Roswell High is going to press charges against the Olsons. To be honest with you the only time I ever saw the school really cautious was when they hired agent Topolski who worked for the FBI and posed as a guidence counclier in order to gain information about the shooting at the Crashdown. However the shcool didn't know at the time who she was working for and later the special unit killed her as well." Jim said trying to make sense of it all.

"Oh god that woman was crazy!" Maria said laughing "But then again we all were. It was really brave of her to help us." She said smiling."Yes it was. God did people sacrifice a lot of the sake of keeping us alive." Micheal said in a somber tone as the group quited and nodded in agreement.

"Ok enough with going down memory lane. We have some celebrating to do how that our very own Liz here just made Harvard University! Whos ready for desert!' Kyle said smiling lighting up the mood.

"I know I am." Liz whispered into Max's ear sending a siver down his spin as a shade of crimson shown through in his cheeks. "Liz did you say something?" Kyle asked as he staired at her. "No nothing." she smirked shacking her head at him.

"I want some thing with choloate." Tess chimmed in as Isabel agreed with her desision smiling. "Ice cream all the way for Maria and me." Micheal said. "yeah that sounds good and a cup of coffee for me." Jim said. "Yeah coffee and some cholate cake sounds good." Jessie said as Kyle took the orders.

"Ok Max and Liz what will it be?" He said getting there order. "Strawberries" They said together and then laughed. " Wow I never saw anyone get that excited over fruit before.Ok Strawberries it is then." he said laughing as he gave the waiter there orders.

In a few minutes the waiter came back with trays full of desserts complete with tea and coffee as the group congratuated Liz on her achivement and enjoyed relaxing conversation for a change talking about all of the new and exciting things they did during the day. "Oh my god you should of scene the view from the top of the mountain and then snowboarding down it. It was awesome." Kyle said beaming as Tess chimmed in. "Yeah it was great you guys have to try it!" She said smiling.

"Yeah it was great." Micheal said. "However Maria refused and stayed in the hotel becasue she was scared." Micheal said as Maria hit him. "No thats not the reason. Liz I had to plan for tonight. Not becasue I was scared." She said yelling to his face as he shrugged his shoulders while everyone laughed. "No Maria I got to had it to you thank you for a lovely evening it was well worth it especially after the day I had." Isabel said smiling. "Yeah I mean who would of thought the x would show up!" Kyle said looking at Jessie. "Kyle!" Isabel yelled. "No it's ok you guys have a right to be angry at me.

But then I thought it over and realised that you guys and Isabel had your reasons to be cautious. However I always felted welcomed and that I belonged. I am just gald I found you all again. May be it was Alex way of telling me to come back to you and help you find him." He said as he slowly took Isabels hand. She accepted the kind gesture but didn't hold his hand for long placing her hand back on her lap and smiled up at him and he smiled back.

"Aw I don't know about you but I am exhausted." Jim said streaching. "I think we better call it a night we have a lot to do tomorrow." He said as he got up to leave. "Great job Maria your mom would of been proud with the lovely evening you planned. I can't wait for tomorrow to see how you are going to top this" he said as he kissed her and the others goodnight.

"I think I am going to go to bed as well. You coming Tess?" Kyle asked as he got up. "Yeah." She said yawning. "Good night" She said sleeply as she placed her head on Kyles shoulder. " I better go as well. Tess wait up I'll come with you to our room." Isabel said as she got up and hugged everyone goodnight. Jessie soon followed bidding everyone goodnight and thanked Maria for a lovely evening.

"Hey Maria are you tired?" Micheal asked as he looked at her. "No are you? Why?" She asked smiling. "You want to go for a swim?" He laughed. "Sure as long as you don't try to drown me this time. Deal?" She said with her hands on her hips. "Deal. You coming Maxwell?" Micheal said turning to see where Max was.

"Um no. I don't think there will be any swimming for me tonight." He said casually. "Whatever." Micheal shrugged and then smilied giving him he eye knowing what he would be up to tonight and then turned to Maria. "Come on get your suit." He said as he placed his arm around her.

"Night Liz. Max take care of her and if I am not back in an hour call the cops or do CPR or something." She said hugging then goodnight. "Will do." Liz said laughing. "Maria just drop it. Were just going swimming." Micheal said laughing. "Ok Spaceboy but I had to give them some warning." She said as the two left the room.

Max and Liz staired at each other "So now that dinner is finished can the surprise?" Liz said as she batted her eyes. "Your right a promise is a promise. Come on." Max said as he grapped Liz's hand and wisked her away into the night.

Chapter Thirty One

Isabel entered the hotel room exhausted. She made her way towards the bathroom knowing that Tess wouldn't be back for sometime she decided to take a bath to wash away the stress and dirt of the long day. The water felt soothing to her ackes and soon her musles started to relax as she breathed in the sweet aroma of roses as bath bubbles surrounded her.

"Max where are we going?" Liz cried as Max pulled her futher and futher up the stairs. "You'll see. We are almost there." He smiling turing to look at her as they made a mad dash down the long hallway while Liz tried to gain her balance as she tripped on her gown as it flowed wildly around her feet .

Isabel got out of the bath and drained the water as she pulled a soft rob around her drying her freshly cleaned body. She then walked to where her suit case was in the hall way and opened it finding her pink silk flowerd pajamas. She then went back into the bathroom to change into them.

"Max stop please." Liz panted out of breath as she tried to keep up with Max's stride. She then came to a sudden hult as she tried to catch her breath as Max stopped in frount of the door to there room. "OK close your eyes." He whispered as he slowely opened the door.

The door opened as Isabel walked outside fully dressed in her comfortable pajamas she then preceded to make her way to the bedroom.Moon light was pouring in from the huge french doors as she entered and then gasped.

The sight Liz saw took her breath away. The room was covered with white roses and lit candles making the room glow with it's golden light. "Max" she sighed. "Surprise." He whispered. "It's so... so...beautiful" She whispered as she turned to look up at him. "When did you do this?" She asked looking lovenly into his eyes. "When you were gone." He smiled and then kissed her. "But this is not the end of the surprise." he whisperd as he pulled her closer to him. "Look on the bed." he whispered as liz made her way towards the bed.

There was a silk red dress glowing in the moonlight as Isabel walked over to gain a closer look. "Tess" she cried thinking she must of came into the room while she was taking a bath. When she heard nothing but the sound of her voice she proceded towards the dress as her eyes widened.

Liz's eyes widened as she saw a small black book sitting in the middle of the bed. She picked it up feeling the fimilar texture in her hands. "My journal? I don't understand Max?" She softy said. "Liz I finished reading it and then I read it over and over again I couldn't get enough it was addicting. Words can't discribe what you wrote about me about us about love. I cried it was so beautiful." Max whispered. "Max" Liz sighed as he continued. "The thing that stuck with me the most was this." He said as he sat down on the bed while Liz sat down next to him. He then opened the book and started to read.

The piece of paper on top of the dress read Wear me tomorrow night as Isabel removed the piece of paper looking over the all too fimilar had writing. She then gasped as she saw the dress. It was red silk with flowers on it. On the top was a strip of black velevet with thin black straps. "No it can't be" she whisperd knowing this was the dress she had sceen one night in Alex's dream during the December Heatwave three years ago. It was in that dream Alex confessed how much he though of her.

"Alex" Isabel whisperd and then started searching the empty room calling his name. However he was now where in sight. She then proceesed to touch the dress to see if it was real or if she was dreaming.

Febuary 26,2000 I'm Liz Parker and lately things between Max and I have been way too intense. We are closer then ever and by closer I mean in every possible way. It was exciting feeling that way about him. I never felt feelings of desire like that before. However it has been really scary as well. I never felt so afraid and vournabel but at the same time so loved.
I am glad though that we didn't go any futher that night in the desert though I really wanted to but I am glad we didn't.

I always pictured the night we would make love. It would be our wedding night we would be in this big fancy hotel I in my wedding dress and Max in his tux and the room would be filled with a thousand white roses and candels. It would be breath taking we would drink champain and eat strawberries and then take our time and make slow sweet passionate love to each other.

Ok it's a nice dream but Max is alien and our parents almost killed us for sleeping out in the desert let alone they would kill Max if they found out who he was. But I don't care. I love him with all my heart and so help me if it kills me but I will follow my heart and Max til the end of the world and back again.

"Oh my god Isabel thats beautiful!" Tess said as Isabel quickly placed the dress down on the bed. "Oh hi Tess yeah um oh this yeah it's beautiful. An old friend of mine gave it to me once." She said as her cheeks turned red as she tried to compose herself. "Oh you so have to wear it tomorrow night. It's gorgeious." Tess yelled as she changed into her pajams in the bathroom. "I was planning on it" Isabel cried as a smile came to her face.

"Max...I" Liz sighed. "Shh you don't have to say anything." Max said huskly as he captured her mouth in a long passionate kiss. "I love you." Liz whisperd as Max whipped the tears from her eyes. "Come here." His whispered as he took her hand making her rise to her feet. "They walked towards the balcony where an array of stars shown brightly. "You see that bright star right there?" He said as he took her hand showing her where to point. "Yes" Liz said.

"Well thats my home. I have dreams about it sometimes. Mostly dreams about my childhood and my mother. However I also get dreams from Serenia mostly every night telling me how she is on Antar. It's lonely sometimes not to see my family." Max sighed. "I know how hard it is. Maybe you will see them someday." Liz said softy as she rubbed his arm.

"Yeah maybe I will but the truth is Liz I never felt so at home until I found you that day and I knew it was my mother sending me an angel so I woun't have to feel alone or afraid any more while I was here on Earth. I thank God everyday for sending you to me. You make me feel alive Liz." He whisperd as tears filled his eyes. She smiled and then lead him inside. Liz the opened on of the champain bottles and poured two glasses. "Here" She said handing it to him. They clinked glasses and then sat down on the bed leaning up against the pillows.

"So Miss. Harvard now did you pull off your caper today in trying to find Alex." Max said playfully. Liz told him the adverterious story as Max sat there enthrolled while they poured some more glasses of champain and eat strawberries as Liz continued her exciting tale. "And thats how we got out of the building with the paper work with out getting caught." Liz said beaming.

"Wow thats amazing." Max said smiling. "I know. I even surprise myself!" Liz said as she leaned down onto the bed laughing and smiled still laughing. "God Liz your so drunk." Max said laughing as he watched her display. She then got up with a jolt and leaned closer in to him and whispered "drunk off of you." Max looked deep into her eyes. It was then that Max realised that she was completly sober and that it was his eyes that were intoxciated as her eyes drew with desire.

They pulled each other in with a passionate kiss causing Max to spill some champain in the process as he placed there glasses down onto the tabel not breaking contact. "Max" Liz said breathlessly as Max slowly stated to lower her straps to her dress while she undid his tuxaudo shirt. Liz then stopped and looked up at him. "Whats wrong?" Max asked seeing the concern in her eyes.

"Nothing. Just that I love you." She whispered as she slowely started to kiss his bear chest as she pulled off his shirt. Max's breath tightened with each sencation as he felt himself sowly coming to life. "Liz" he gasped and then pulled her away as he leaned her down onto the bed while he slowly pulled her gown off her as a pool of crimison hit the floor where the dress landed.

He then looked down at her radiant beauty as her naked body lay on the bed covers as white and red rose pettles sourounded her as her brown hair cascaeded around the pillows framing her face. Liz lay there enjoying how she felt against the silk sheets as her body glowed in the candel light while Max removed the rest of his clothing and stood over her. He kissed her and moved his way down the side of her neck leaving a trail of kisses as he went. He could feel her heart beating faster as he kissed her chest feeling the heaving of her breasts as he held them and kissed them.

"Max" She sighed as she ran her fingured gently through his hair as he made his way futher down her flat stomach kissing her tender flesh. He then placed his hand over her right side and Liz sighed feeling her soul stir where he touched where the once silver hand print was. He removed his hand and kissed it. "This is where my soul lives" He breathed huskly as he kissed her flesh. "AW" Liz cried as he kissed her. He then slowly made his way futher until he saw her secret mound. He touched her causing Liz to arch her back "Max" She moaned.

She then sat up and kissed him causing him to tumbel onto the soft bed. "Liz...your so beautiful"He whisperd "Hold me" She said as Max drapped his arms around her as she listened to the beating of his heart she then kissed his chest and teased him while Max fought to gain control. Futher and futher she went kissing every part of his body. She blushed beat red seeing how alive he was and touched him sending Max to gasp for air as his breath begain to stagger.

She then pulled him up closer to her as they sat facing each other as there legs intertwined around one anothers bodies and joined in most intimate way while they held each other in there arms. They kissed each other with long slow passionate kisses. There heads moving in rhythm while there lips danced with each other. Max then placed Liz down slowly onto the bed as he kissed her softy.

It was moments like this he enjoyed the most where for one moment everthing was right with the world. He savored each breath, each sigh, touch and kiss he gave and recieved from her. His beautiful Queen his angel sent from above for him to love for eternity.

"AW Max" Liz moaned as he begain his seductive rhythm as he entered her secret world kepted hidden from the rest of the world but know only to him. Her hips reached up to meet him as his movements became faster and more demanding but loving at the same time. "Liz" he cried as he held her close. "AW oh god yes aw." Liz moaned sending him to pound into her even more. "Oh god Liz" He cried as he moved faster trying to match the movement of her hips. They moved in rhythem as there seductive dance became faster burning with passion as there orgaisms were on the brink. "Hold me" Liz cried as she tighted her grip around him as he pouneded into her faster and faster as she called out his name.

"Max...MAx...M..ax... MAX!" Liz screamed as her oragism ripped thought her body sending a wave of pleasure over her as Max steadied her as his orgaism ripped though him with wave after wave of pleasure as he felt her insides pulsing around him. "Liz, LIZ" He moaned as the rush of passion continued until they both colapsed onto the bed gasping for breath and feeling content as they listened to the pounding of their hearts.

Her heart pounded as Isabel smelled Alex's sent on the dress as she placed it back into the closet. It was a sent she longed to smell again as she closed the door. She knew that he was close and alive if she could just find a sign saying where he was. Maybe this was the final sign she needed to point her in the right direction. She hoped as she bid Tess goodnight and fell into a peaceful night sleep.

They didn't talk or move for quite sometime until Max felt the tears streaming down her cheeks. "I love you" Liz whispered as Max whipped her tears. "Liz why are you crying?" Max said as he rubbed her cheek with his fingures. "Because I never felt so alive then when I am with you. Your my life." She said as she moved his hand to her stomach and placed it over the faded healed bullet wond where his silver hand print once lay. Max smiled "And you are mine." He whispered as he kissed her softy while tears formed in his eyes.

"I love you Liz" He said softy. "I love you Max" She said as she drew his head close so that it lay on her chest as she let out a sigh. Max listened to her heart beat and her even breathing as her chest moved up and down with each breath. "Thank you for making my dreams come true" She murmered softy as she drifted off to sleep."Thank You" Max whispered as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep listening to the beating of her heart as the stars shown brightly above.

Chapter Thirity One Continued

Moon light showed the room with it's silver light as Max and Liz slepted soundly between the white silk sheets. During the night they had woken up and had made love a few more times until they were content and soon fell into a peaceful night sleep as they spooned each other holding on to each other tight entering their world of dreams.

Max blinked open his amber colored eyes when he heared the rapping at his door. He quickly got up and put on a pair of boxers as he made his way to the door hoping the noise wouldn't wake Liz up.

He opened the door to see two blue eyes stairing back at him as she made her way into the large dimly lit living room. "Tess what are you doing here? It's four in the morning." Max whispered surprised to see her.

Tess looked up at him she was a little taken back to see Max half naked in frount of her as her eyes roamed around the room. She could see the huge king size bed as Liz's bear backside faced her as she slepted soundly. She then looked back at Max putting two and two together as to the events that had taken place during the night.

"I'm sorry if I'm interputing anything..." She whispered awakerly. "I just...can we talk."

"Sure let me just get dressed I will only be a minute." Max whispered as he opened up the dresser draw and got some cloths. He then went into the bathroom to change as Tess still in her pajamas waited paciently in the dark room.

Max then emerged dressed in a black shirt and jeans and made his way towards where Liz slepted while tess watched him from afar. He lead down and kissed Liz gentaly on the cheek. She sighed as she drifted deeper into her dreams. He then turned and faced Tess.

"Ready to go?" He asked. She nodded as they both left the room while Max closed the door quitely behind him.

"So what is it you wanted to talk about?" Max asked as he and Tess sat on a couch in the deserted lobby. "I had a dream." She said as she looked up at him. "It was about Zan." She whispered.

"Was it a bad dream?" Max asked concered. "No" Tess said shacking her head. "It was a nice dream, however I get the sence that something is coming." Tess said as she looked deep into Max's eyes.

"What who is coming?" Max gasped. "I am not sure. It's nothing bad but I am not sure,it's all to confusing, my mind is blur." She said as tears came to her eyes. "Max do you miss Zan?" Tess said as the tears begain to fall.

"Of course I think about him everyday." Max said as he drapped his arm around Tess. "Tess am I a horrible father for letting him go?"Max whisped as he felt his heart cave in remembering the baby boy he held in his arms so long ago. "No Max your not you did what you thought was best for your son, our son. You didn't want him to live the life you lived. You wanted him to be free and safe." Tess said looking up at him as she took hold of his hand.

"I guess your right but I wish I could see him. I wish things were differnt. I wish that so much." Max said as he started to cry. "Max look at me there is something I need to tell you." Tess whispered softy as Max looked up at her with tear stained eyes. "The night in the observatory when we slepted together was a very confusing night. I used you. However I think we needed each other during that time. However that dosn't give me an excuse I used you and I will never forgive myself for it.

But I want you to know that through all of the pain something wonderful happened. A boy was sent to me to us to love. Seeing Zan for the first time was the most overwhelming feeling. For the first time in my life it felt right, like I had a purpose and that was to love and protect this child. Alien or human it didn't matter to me for I saw that his soul was pure. Seeing him with you for the first time was like a dream. I never saw you so happy besides when you were with Liz. And it all started to make sence for me.

You see Max Zan taught me what love is. I was forever changed when he came into the world and I want you to know that despite everything I am glad I had him with you. He was so lucky to have a father as you. Look maybe we were young but what you did for Zan was very brave. You let him enter into another family who didn't have anyone and you sent them an angel to love." Tess whispered as she squeezed Max's hand.

He let out a sigh. "Wow I guess your right I never thought of it that way." he said looking up at her. "If you want maybe we can go and visit him. So he will know who his guardian angles are." He whispered. "I would like that." Tess said softly. "You know Tess before Zan left to go to his new home. I gave him a memory." Max said as he smiled.

"What was it about?" Tess asked as she looked at him. "It was a memory about you and me. It was not a bad memory. I just wanted him to remember who his mother was and that she loved him just as much as I love him." He whisperd. Tess looked at him in shock. "You did that for me?" she cried. "But why after all I did to you and Liz and everyone." Tess said still taken aback by his comment.

"I did it because there once was a girl with curly blond hair who slepted soundly in a chamber closed off to the world. I looked on this girl once when I was very little. But I left her there and she was lost for most of her life.

Until the day she found me again and I looked upon her and I saw the soul of a girl who only wanted to be found and loved but never was. You see Tess you might of lived a hard life but dispite it all you were once good and deserved to be remember for your good and not the evil you cause." Max said smiling at her as tears ran down her cheeks.

"God Liz is so lucky. You are such an amazing man and the great king I knew long ago." Tess said as she hugged him. "Thank you for talking." she said as she whipped the tears from her eyes. "Anytime. I hope you feel better." Max said as he rubbed her back. "Yes I feel much better." She said smiling as she rose to her feet. "Good I am glad I could help." Max said as he rose to join her. "We better get back upstairs I am exhausted." Tess yawned as they walked back to their rooms.

Max walked Tess back to her room and opened the door. "Good night Tess." Max whispered "I will see you in the morning." He said before he statred to close the door. Tess stopped him. "You know Max about how I said something was comming well I feel that great things are going to happen. Thanks again. Good night." She whispered and closed the door behind her.

Max entered his room and made his way towards where Liz was sleeping. She was breathtaking in the moonlight as Max let out a sigh seeing how beautiful she was. He undressed and slowly and quitely made his way into the bed so as not to wake her. He then wrapped his arms around his sleeping angel as he nuzzled his face in her long beautiful brown hair.

Tess was wrong he thought Liz wasn't the luckly one. He was. His dream of being with Liz forever was now a reality. His beautiful Queen who he loved more then life itself was now laying next to him in the most intimate way. He signed and held her tight knowing he would be able to hold on to this dream for eternity. Max slowly closed his eyes and soon he just as Liz slepted peacefully as the rays of golden light startied to break though the ebony sky

Chapter Thirity Two

The early morning rays filled the mountains making the snow glisen like diamonds as Isabel pounded the pavement as she ran through the swedish town.

Running had been something she started doing when she was 18 around the time when they had meet the dupes as well as the skins and Isabel found out more about who she was and how she betrayed her family in her former life.

It was also at a time in her life when she was no longer seeing Alex though they continued to still be friends and was dating Grant Sorenson a 30 year old geologist who was hired by congress Whitager to do a research project on the bones located in the desert of Roswell to see if they were radioactive and see what was the cause of death.

Little did Grant know they were the bones of Agent Pierce who Micheal killed in a blast to save everyone esp Max after he escaped from the white room. However The pod squad saved the day and the bones never came out positive for radioactivity and the conclusion was that the bones had been there for centuries and that was why they were melded together due to the nuclear tests done in the area in 1958.

Grant eventually died after being shoot by agent Duff after Grant tried to kill himself when he found out he was the host the a strange jellyfish alien queen. Once the Queen was killed then the alien crystals could no longer live saving the human race along with the pod squad in the process. However Isabel felt horrible and that everyone she knew got hurt.

Max was shocked in the beginning seeing her run because according to him the only excerise she ever got was the escalator at the mall. He onced asked her what she was running away from. Isabel denined it and said she wasn't though she knew in her heart she was. She was running away from her life instead of facing it head on. Later she grew stronger and learned to take control of her life again.

Alex was a big help in that. He was always there giving her advice. But the turning point for her was in Vegas when he told her she would meet someone and would make him the happiest man ever. It was then that she fell in love all over again with Alex Whitman and knew that her life would be ok as long as he was by her side. Until the day he died and then she questioned life all over again but she was stronger this time and learned how to make the most of her life.

It was differnt now when she ran she felt a sense of clamness. She no longer ran to escape from her fears instead she did it to eased her mind and body while enjoying the serenary around her.

She then stopped to catch her breath as the cold air did a number on her body. She then streached and looked towards the rising sun along the snow covered mountains enjoying the warmth of the sunshine along her face. "It's going to be a beautiful day. I can feel it." She thought to herself as she strated to make her way back to the hotel to take a shower and get ready for the day.

Liz yawned and streached her stiff body as she sleeply fell back down onto the soft pillow and looked at Max. "Morning" He whispered as he leaned down and kissed her of the forehead. "Morning" she sighed as she smiled at him as Max ran his fingures through her hair.

"Sleep well" He asked. "Yes I did but I am kind of sore and achy." She said softy. "I didn't hurt you did I?" Max asked in a boyish concerned way. "Trust me it was well worth it." Liz said smiling as then laughed as she kissed Max on the lips. "I didn't hurt you did I?" Liz asked looking up at him with dow eyes. "Trust me I think I will live" Max said smiling as he leaned down and kissed her passionitly.

Liz sighed when they broke and snuggled back down into the silk sheets as Max got up out of bed and put on his green and white plade boxers. "How I wish it wasn't morning. Can't we stay in bed all day."Liz said sleeply as she watched Max standing by the open french doors as the morning sun ulimated them.

"I know but we have to go Valenti wanted to take us all on a trip to a neighboring town and then maybe do a lift ride over the mountains and maybe some skying before he and Jessie went to do some research on the Olson case." Max said as he turned to his beautiful wife laying peacefully among the soft white silk sheets.

"Wilt thou be gone? it is not yet near day:" Liz cried as she snuggled under the sheets. "Liz!" Max said in protest knowing they had to get ready. "It was the nightingale, and not the lark," Liz sighed as she leaned up on to the pillow cluching the sheet over her. "That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear; Nightly she sings on yon pomegranate-tree: Believe me, love, it was the nightingale." She said said softly as she sank back down onto the pillow.

Max just looked and smiled at her. However he knew they had to leave soon as he glanced at the clock."It was the lark, the herald of the morn,
No nightingale: look, love, what envious streaks Do lace the severing clouds in yonder east:" Max sighed as he looked out towards the windows. "Can't we stay." Liz cried as she crawled over to where Max had layed and closed her eyes as she burried her head into his pillow.

"Night's candles are burnt out, and jocund day Stands tiptoe on the misty mountain tops.I must be gone and live, or stay and die." He said as he tried to shack her awake and then made his way towards the dressers to get his things together.

Liz turned on to her back as she held the sheets close to her."Yon light is not day-light, I know it, I: It is some meteor that the sun exhales, To be to thee this night a torch-bearer, And light thee on thy way to Mantua: Therefore stay yet; thou need'st not to be gone." She said sleeply as she looked up at him with desireing eyes.

Max just staried at her "who cared about the stupid daytrip. They would understand. There would be plenty more." he told himself. Besides how could he resist her with a look like that.

He then ran to her and strated to tickel her as she wiggled herself to get free while she laughed as he chashed her to her side of the bed. "Let me be ta'en, let me be put to death; I am content, so thou wilt have it so." Max said as he made his way towards her laughing as she cried for him to stop as she jumped out of the bed holding a bed sheet around her as she ran to break free.

However he was too quick for her and made a run for it blocking her from leaving as she jumped back onto the bed and made her way to the other side. "I'll say yon grey is not the morning's eye, 'Tis but the pale reflex of Cynthia's brow; Nor that is not the lark, whose notes do beat"

Liz jumped back letting the silk white sheet around her fall just as Max started to ticked her again. "Aw stop it. Please" Liz begged as Max started to tickel and kiss her as she laughed and tried to break free.

"The vaulty heaven so high above our heads: I have more care to stay than will to go:" Max said as he stopped tickling Liz as she laughed and smiled catching her breath as Max laughed and smiled back as Liz kissed him passionatly.

"Come, death, and welcome! Juliet wills it so." Max cried as he opened his arms wide and then wrapped them around her as Liz laughed while he gave her kisses all over her neck."Max!" Liz cried enjoying his little game and then he kissed her sweet lips while he leaned Liz down onto the bed.

Max then broke from their kiss and looked up into her eyes as Liz smiled back at him. "How is't, my soul? let's talk; it is not day." Max whispered as the two shared a sweet and passionate kiss.

"Where are they?" Maria said staring at her watch. "We are so late?" She said annoyed. "They are probably still at the loveshack if you know what I mean." Kyle said nugging her with his elbow. "OK I get it Kyle." Maria said rolling her eyes.

"I feel bad this is really rude of them. God I could kill my brother! I mean after all Kyle your dad went to all of this trouble of planning for a nice trip out." Isabel sighed with her arms crossed.

"Oh give them a break guys." Tess said as everyone looked at her in shock. "Come on I mean this is their honeymoon. We all chipped in money so they could have one.So if Max and Liz want time alone then it's ok. So liten up." Tess said as she looked at the four stunded faces in frount of her.

"Tess is right guys. We shouldn't be mad at them. Thanks Tess for stucking up for them being they weren't here to defend themselves." Micheal said smiling. "Wow she is not as bad as I thought she was. Tess has come a long way." Micheal said to himslef as he saw the huge smile on her face.

"Thanks Micheal." Tess said beaming as she turned and got her bag. "Come on guys lets get a move on." Jim yelled as he walked down into the lobby with Jessie.

"Hey guys where are Max and Liz?" Jessie said as he looked around the lobby. "Lets just say they got a little tied up." Kyle said smirking. "Kyle!" Tess said hitting him on the arm. "I can't believe you!" She said giving him the eye as she laughed at him.

"Yeah Max and Liz are not coming." Maria said as her and Micheal made there way to the rented car. "Oh ok. Thats fine. I kind of figured knowing those two." Jim said laughing as he followed the group outside as the seven of them set off for their swedish adventure.

Chapter Thirty Three

The golden was setting as the star light evening arrived as the group made there way into the hotel lobby after a long and fun day of exploring all of the exciting sight of Sweden.

"Wow what a day I am beat." Micheal said yawning. "You better not be. We are going dancing tonight remember." Maria said hitting him. "I remember but I rather be asleep." Micheal said as he walked into up the stairs. "Micheal! I swear to god you are unbelievible!" Maira yellled as she ran after him. "Maria relax I was kidding." He said smiling at her. "You better or else you will wish you never were born." Maria said pointing her fingure at her while Micheal laughed as they made there way to the room.

"Isabel are you going to help me get ready for tonight?" Tess asked as they climbed the stairs. "Yes don't worry." Isabel said smiling. "Can you help me as well." Kyle said jokenly. "Ha ha funny Kyle real funny" Isabel said laughing. "What I was just asking." He said srugging his shoulders. "Sure you were." Tess chimmed in as the three of them laughed. They made there way to the room and dropped there bags.

"Isabel, Jim and I are going to look over some paper work for the Olson case. I will let you know what we find. I will see you tonight at dinner." Jessie said smiling at her. "OK I will see you then." She said as she waved him goodbye.

"Um Kyle you have to leave. We have to get dressed." Tess said as she staired up at him. "Ok I will just stay here." Kyle smirked. "Kyle!" Tess yelled "You are unbelievable!" She said as she made her way closer to him. "Really I am." He said laughing. "You know what I meant buddah boy." Tess said as she lightly punched him. "So does that mean I can stay." He smiled as he looked into her eyes. "Out now!" Isabel cried as she gave Kyle the evil eye.

"OK I was just leaving. I will see you later Tess." he said as he kissed her however she didn't let him go. "Kyle I said now." Isabel said as Kyle broke from the kiss. "Ok I am leaving." He laughed as Isabel pulled him outside and shut the door.

Tess and Isabel laughed "I can't believe him." Tess said as she went to get her cloths ready. "yeah god he is a piece of work!" Isabel said laughing as she got ready to take a shower.

Max was putting on the finishing touches of his bow tie as Liz made her way out from the bathroom dress in a beautiful flowing black dress with her hair all in long flowing curls as it surrounded her face. "Hey gorgeious" Liz said as Max turned around to see the amazing sight in frount of him. "Wow Liz you look amazing" He said softy as his eyes widened with wonder.

"Thanks." She said smiling. "We better go we are going to be late." Liz said looking at the clock. "Oh so now you are concerned with the time." Max said smiling at her. "Well it is an important engagement Mr. Evans and we woun't want to miss it." She said batting her eyes as she leaned in and kissed him.

"You know Maria is going to kill us for missing dinner with the group we already ditched them once today." Max said looking at her. "Leave Maria to me. Besided the rath of Deluca never killed anyone." She said taking his hand. "Anyway this is our night and we will catch up with them later at the night club." Liz said smiling at him. "OK what ever you say my Queen. Lead the way." Max said as he held out his arm to her as Liz locked her arm with his as they walked arm in arm ready for their night on the town.

"Wow Isabel you look breathtaking! Who ever gave that dress to you must of know you well. It's fabilious!" Tess beamed as Isabel emerged in the red silk dress with black flowers on it. Topped was a strip of black velevet with thin black straps, she recived the night before as her long golden locks framed her face.

"You wore your hair down. It looks really nice." Tess said. "Thanks I just felt like I needed a change." She said grinning from ear to ear. "You look great as well Tess." Isabel said looking at her low cut dark purple dress. "Oh thanks. Yeah I hope Kyle likes it." Tess said looking at her. "Oh trust me he will." Isabel said smiling as the two laughed and made there way to the hotel lobby.

"Hey you guys made it! Wow you look... you look amazing Tess!" Kyle said giving her a kiss. "Isabel you look beautiful that dress is really pretty." Kyle said as he hugged her. "Thanks." She said as she looked up at Jessie.

"Isabel wow you look... I am speachless." Jessie said looking at her in amazement. "Thanks. You look great as well." She said smiling at him. "Did you get any information about the Olson case?" She said. "No nothing. I am sure something will come up Jim is looking more into it." He said as they walked to the limo wating outside.

"Lets go that party wagon awaits!" Maria yelled from the moonroof as her and Micheal watched the well dressed group look at her in shock. "We got a Limo!" Tess cried. "No way! I call the moonroof next!" Kyle said as he grapped Tess and pulled her into the streach black limo. "Wow Maria you really know how to live." Jessie said. "Hey you might as well if we have the money to spend on it." Maria said smiling. "Hey were are Max and Liz?" Maria said looking around the parking lot.

"I don't think they are coming! Again they leave us! But I think they are meeting us later on." Isabel yelled from inside. "Oh well it's not my fault they are missing the party of the year! Lets go guys The night is young so lets celebrate!" Maria cried as the limo left the hotel parking lot and made it's way to the bright city lights.

A cool breeze filled the dimly light balcony as Max and Liz enjoyed a quite dinner over looking the Swedish skyline. "Wow Liz this is amazing." Max said as he held her hand while they waited for dessert to come.

"Thanks. I am glad you like it. I remember Alex showed me this place in his pictures of slide shows so thats how I knew about it." She said as a distant look came over her face remembering a time long ago of the two of them laughing on her balcony as he showed her pictures from his trip.

Tears filled her eyes. "God I miss him so much." She said as she squeezed Max's hand. "I know I do too. We will find him don't worry." He said leaning across the table and kissed her. She smiled however they both still felt a sense of lose.

The waiter broke there somber mood as he present them with dessert and coffee. The waiter left leaving the two of them a plate of chocolate cake toped with strawberries. They shared the dessert enjoying the sweet tast. "Wow this is so good." Liz said taking another bit as Max sipped his coffee.

"Liz thank you for an amazing night this was definally a nice surprise to such a beautiful day." Max said smiling remembing how they spent the day in bed making love. " I am glad and the day isn't over yet. The night is still young." She said softy as she leaned in and kissed him.

"Well we better meet the others. They should be down stairs by now." Max said as they got the check and headed downstairs to meet the others.

The night club was in full swing as they entered making there way through the crowd as the spotted the tabel the group sat at. "Well If it isn't Romeo and Juliet alive and in the flesh." Kyle said jockly as Max and Liz made there way to the tabel. " Nice to see you too Kyle" Max said smiling. "Well it's nice of you guys to finally show up!" Maria said smiling as she hugged Max and Liz.

"Wow I thought you were going to kill us!" Liz said. "No you guys are off the hook. I'm the one in trouble." Micheal said "When aren't you in trouble Micheal." Isabel said as she hugged Max and Liz. "Oh my god I love this song. Kyle we are so dancing!"

Tess said as she pulled Kyle to the dance floor as he flased a look of "Oh know here we go again." to the group. Isabel laughed seeing how funny Kyle looked while Tess wirrled around him. "Hey Isabel do you want to dance." Jessie said as he held his hand out to her. "Sure why not for old time sack." She said as they made there way to the dance floor.

Pretty soon the whole group was on the dance floor smiling and laughing and having the time of there lives dancing the night away. The mood soon changed as the music soon turned slow as the song "Always" by Bon Jovi started to play.

This Romeo is bleeding

It's nothing but some feelings
That this old dog kicked up.

Isabel felt a flash of emotion as the first cords were heard. She felt her heart cave in as she danced with Jessie. She smiled up at him as she looked around the room as they swayed to the music.

The the flashes of Alex came. There was one from the crashdown festival when she went up to him and he was shocked to see her he blurted out the only thing that came to mind.

She then got a flash from when she first told him about who she was. He just looked at her in amazement after she used her powers to turn the ketachup into mustard. He just looked and staired at her smiling.

She danced through the room searching for him still looking up at Jessie the whole time as the flashes increased.

Well I guess I'm not that good anymore

she then got a flash when she dreamed walked Alex for the first time during the heatwave. She was wearing the same dress he gave her and they were dancing.

"You really think of me?" Isabel asked shocked as they danced.

"I think that underneath that beautiful exterior is an even more beautiful interior. But I have a feeling that not too many people get to see that interior, do they?" Alex whisperd as he held her close.

"No, they don't." Isabel sighed looking up at him."Cuz it's too scary to show who you really are. You can show me." Alex said speaking the words she had longed to hear all her life.
"I can?" She said looking into his eyes."Yeah." Alex nodded.

She then got a flash of there first kiss outside on his pourch when they were 17 and how shy they had been but so sweet at the same time.

Isabel scanned the room searching for him as Jessie spunn her around. She knew Alex was close she could feel it.

Now your pictures that you left behind
Are just memories of a different life
Some that made us laugh
Some that made us cry
One that made you have to say good bye.

She then got a flash from her 18th surpirise party and how Alex stripped infrount of her as she laughed. Next she got a flash of a dream she had after Alex died.
"Bye, Isabel." Alex said softy as he started to back up and walk out of the Crashdown. "I love you, Alex." Isabel cried as tears ran down her cheeks
Alex then stopped and looked at her "I think we both know, I loved you too." He passionalty said to her softy as he closed the door behind him.

Tears came to her eyes remembering the vision as Jessie looked at her smiling as he touched her cheek.

She then got a flash of when he came back from Sweden and how it was nice to see him even though they hadn't talked in a while.
She then got a flash of when she danced with him by his grave sight the night before she was going to leave earth and how he held her close giving her comfort.

Jessie wrilled her around and then pulled her close as she got a flash of when Alex held her when she was trying to dream walk Max in the white room."I have to do this." She said as fear sounded in hr voice."Then I’m going to stay with you. Umm, if I’m holding on to you, maybe you won’t get lost." Alex said softly as he held her close while she closed her eyes.

she then got a flash of them in Vegas and how he asked her to dance. She then got a flash of then kissing each other at the prom

She then got a flash of when her and Alex went Stargazing in Frazier Woods. "And then to the right of the Milky Way, that's Orion." Isabel said pointing up at the sky. "Oh, wow." Alex said smiling. "And see the north star?" Isabel said pointing to her right."Yeah." Alex said in amazement.
" Ok, now look a little to your left...and a little further out, that small group of stars right there, that's the Cygnus constellation. It's the furthest we can see from here." She said smiling as her hand dropped to her side
"It's amazing." Alex said beaming.

"What is?" Isabel said looking into his eyes. "Staring at the stars with you. I mean, I used to look up there, and stars were just stars. One was just as good as the next one. Somehow with you...I mean... It's so wondrous, you know? I mean...each star is...is a mystery, you know, and so full of possibility. This is so much better than seeing a movie." He said lovely nugging her "Thanks." She smiled as the two of them laughed.

"Jessie I have to go." Isabel said looking up at him. "I understand. Good luck." He whispered as he watched Isabel run off the dance floor.

She ran outside still hearing the song playing as she dashed through the cold snow as the cold wind hit her but she didn't care. Her heart would lead her this time. She knew she was closer then ever. She stopped when she saw the beautiful northern lights glowing against the star light sky. She made her way to the mountain as her heart pounded faster as she saw a figure in the distance running closer to her.

"Well there ain't no luck in these loaded dice
But baby if you give me just one more try
We can pack up our old dreams and our old lives
We'll find a place where the sun still shines."

She smiled when she saw the fimilar figure coming into full view as she ran faster until they both wrapped each other in their arms as tears streamed down her face.

"Alex!" Isabel softly cried as tears ran down her cheeks. "Isabel" Alex cried as his tears minguled with hers as they both kissed each other passionatly while the stars shinned above them.

Chapter Thirty Four

The night was winding down as the dance club played the last song as people swayed to the music on the less then crowed dance floor. Kyle and Tess sat at tabel exhausted as they looked on the two dancing couples on the floor.

Micheal and Maria held each other close as they looked up and lauhged everyone once and a while as Micheal steped on Maria's foot. "Sorry I hope I didn't hurt you." Micheal whisperd. "Don't worry I have gotten used to the Micheal Guiran stepping on feet move" She said laughing as she gave him a kiss.

In the other corner Max held Liz close as his hand pressed against her back as they swayed as one. "Liz..." Max whispered looking deep into her eyes. "Yes" She said softy. "I remember something that I never told you before." He said shyly as he rubbed her cheek with his hand. "What was it?" Liz said her voice barely a whisper.

"Well before I knew you. I would walk the streets at night you know how I do that at times. Anyway I would always stop at your balcony and just would watch you from the shadows. I even once climbed your fire escape just enough so I could see you but you couldn't see me I watched you sitting there writing in your journal.

But most of the time I just stayed looking up at the balcony kepted hidden by the trees, hoping to catch a glimps of you as I saw the light from your candels in the dark. No matter what I always thought your balcony was a safe beakon for me guiding me home and I knew that I was safe even though I felt so alone and afraid. After I went to your balcony I felt happy and lucky to be here on earth." He whispered huskly.

"You would do that? Thats funny cause I always felt like something was close to me. I thought it was you but then I was like no thats crazy Liz Max dosn't even know you exhist. Night after night I would dream that you came to my balcony. It wasn't until a few days after I was shoot that you did and I knew I wasn't dreaming when I saw you down there and I knew it was ment to be." She whispered smiling at him.

There foreheads touched as their eyes drifted up and down not knowing where to look until they leaned in closer and kissed each other as a flash of their first memory connection came into view of that fateful night.

"Liz!! I have to talk to you."

"I've never tried this before, but maybe I can make the connection go to other way. So you can see, you know that, that I'm still me. I have to touch you. Now just take deep breaths and try to let your mind go blank."

"I could feel everything he was feeling. I could feel his loneliness. For the first time I was really seeing Max Evans, I saw me as he saw me, and the amazing thing was, in his eyes, I was beautiful."

"Did it work?"

They broke from their kiss and smiled as their hearts felt a deeper and stronger connection then before.

The music stopped and the announced wished everyone a very nice evening as crowds of people started to gather their belongings.

The two couples meet the group as they got there coats and made there way to the limo. "Guys where is Isabel?" Kyle said looking around for her. "I am not sure I think she might be at the hotel." Jessie said hoping she was ok. "Oh ok. Lets go the party wagon is leaving." Maria said as the group filed into the limo and spead off into the night.

It was one in the morning when they arrived back. Max and Liz made there way to the honeymoon sweet as the others followed them. Max opend the door to the giagantic room while the other waited in the hallway before they said goodnight. However when they opened the door it was a different story as Max yelled Isabel as the others rushed in.

"Max" Isabel said as she turned to see her brother. Max looked as if he had just scene a ghost as he softy cried "Alex! It it really you?" "Alex Whitman alive and in the flesh." He said as he ran to hug him as Maria and Liz followed embrasing their long lost best friend. "Oh my god Alex!" Maria creid as trears ran down her cheeks. "It's great to see you." Liz beamed still in shock.

"ALEX! The B team reuntied at last!" Kyle said as he picked Alex up in a great bear hug. "I love you too Man." Alex said laughing as Micheal hugged him as tears ran down his cheeks.

Tess during the whole reunion was silent as images of the night she was at the Rodgers Air fource military base flashed thorugh her mind, remembering the horribel explosion and fire that followed. She then got flashes of when she was captured and being tourchered in the White Room and finally one of her running through the woods before she clasped. She then slowly made he way to Alex as the group parted and grew silent. She hugged him as tears ran down her cheeks as her body trembled.

"Alex thank you for saving me! I want you to know that I am truely sorry for everything." Tess said softy as tears ran down her cheeks as she hugged him tight. Alex looked down at her and wipped her tears. "Tess It was nothing. I forgive you after all what are friends for." He said smiling as tears filled his eyes as she hugged him and went over to Kyle as he kissed her.

Jessie then entered the room and the moment Isbael had been dreading for months had finally arrived her nightmare was in full effect as Jessie made his way closer to where Alex and Isabel were. She took a deep breath and then turned to Alex. "Jessie I would like you to meet Alex Whitman. Alex this is Jessie Ramirez .... my former husband."

Isabel said shocked she was able to say the words as she watched Alex and Jessie shacking hands as Alex nerviously shook his head in response. "Um hi nice to meet you Jessie." He said smiling "Pleasure to meet you as well Isabel talked fondly of you. Your a lucky man Alex. Take good care of her." Jessie said as he smiled at Isabel as she sighed a sigh of reliefe. "Will do." Alex said as he took Isabels hand.

Jim then entered the room as the group smiled as tears of joy filled there eyes. "Alex Alex Whitman. Long time no see. It's great to have you back home and safe." He said as he gave him a great big hug. "Your not going to get arrested now are you?" He said jockly as the group laughed as Jim shook his head.

"Well it's late and I think we all could use some sleep. I know you must have tons of questions for Alex but it will have to wait." Jim said looking at the group. The group shook their heads nodding in agreement. "OK I will see you guys in the morning good night." Jim said as he made his way out side the great room.

"Oh my god Alex there is so much I have to tell you but I will tell you later night." Maria said as she hugged him. "OK Maria. See you tomorrow get some rest." Alex said as he kissed his friend on the forehead goodnight before giving Micheal a hug as they left. Kyle and Tess followed giving him a great big group hug.

"Good night Alex. Wow I still can't believe you are alive. Good night." Kyle said as they left. Jessie then walked over to Alex and Isabel. "Well it was a pleasure meeting you Alex. I am glad you back and safe. Good night. Night Isabel I will see you guys in the morning. " Jessie said as he patted Alex on the back before he left.

Soon it was only Isabel, Alex, Max, and Liz in the large and beautiful room. Alex mad ehis way to where Max and Liz stood. "So Isabel tells me you are married. Wow. I can't believe it Liz your married." Alex said in shock. "I know. I can't believe it either. " Congratulations Max and Liz I wish you both happiness." Alex said as he hugged them. "Thanks Alex." Max beamed.

"Well I will let you guys get some sleep." Isabel said as she held Alex hand. "OK um Alex where are you sleeping?" Liz asked concerned. "Well um Liz is it ok I stay here. I mean being there is not enough room in Isabels being Tess and Maria are there." He said.

"Of course you can Alex." Max said smiling. "You can have the living room there is a pull out bed in the couch. You can stay too Isabel if you want." Max said looking at his sister. "OK sure. Let me just get my things." She said running out into the hall to her room to grab her stuff.

Max pulled out the bed for Alex and gathered some pajamas for him. "Wow Alex this feels like old times when you used to sleep over my house." Liz smiled. "Aw yeah sleep overs at the Parkers good times." He said laughing. Isabel returned with her things and got ready for bed as the others did the same.

"Isabel we can share a bed if you want." Alex said as he pulled the covers down. "Um ok sure as long as you don't try anything." She said smiling givin him the eye. "Isabel it me your talking about. Trust me nothing will happen. I just want to hold you that's all. I missed you." Alex said taking her hand and squeezing it. "Me too" She said as she kissed him.

Max and Liz got ready for bed as Liz went into the living room and sat on the bed where Isabel and Alex lay. "Good night Alex. I love you. I am so happy you are home." She said as she kissed him on the forehead. " I love you too Liz. The past year has been a nightmare. I will tell you about it another time. I am just glad I am home." he said yawning. "Good night Alex and Isabel if you need anything just let us know." Liz said as she got up from the bed.

"Good night Iz." Max said as he kissed his sister. "Good night Max" "Good night Alex Good to have you home" He said giving him a hug. "Good night Max see you tomorrow." Alex said as he drapped an arm around Isabel who was already sleeping. Max got up and closed the French doors closed as he made his way to where Liz lay. "Are they asleep?" Liz asked. "Yeah." He said as he climbed into bed next to her.

"I can't believe Alex is alive! This is amazing! I am just glad he is safe and that he is with Isabel again." She beamed "Yeah it's amazing some how we must be really special to have the people we love here with us again." Max said still in shock. "Yes we are so lucky." Liz said as she leaned in closer to Max." He leaned down and kissed her. "I am exhausted." Liz said as she snuggled down into the sheets.

"Me too. Must of been from staying in bed all day." He smirked as she laughed while he started ot kiss her down her neck. "Max we can't. Alex and Isabel are here remember." Liz said concerned. He then looked up at her "I know. Thank you for a beautiful day. Good night Liz." Max whispered as he pulled her close. "Thank you" she sighed as she fell asleep in his arms.

In the room next to them Alex and Isabel sleeped soundly. Alex was finally at peace again. He had not felt this way in a year. He was lucky to be alive and safe agian with his friends and espcially with the woman he love the most beautiful star in the world who guided him on his journey home.

Alex however wasn't asleep he just sat there replaying all of the events in his head as he staired at Isabel sleeping in the moonlight. "God she breathtaking. I'm so lucky" Alex said to himself as he smiled and closed his eyes and whispered softy in her ear "I love you Isabel" before he drifted off to sleep.

Chapter Thirty Five

Liz yawned as her hand reached over to where Max lay however he wasn't there the remains of a note were left instead on his pillow.

Dear Liz,
Everyone is down stairs having
breakfast. See you there.
Again thank you for last night!

She smiled and streached getting up out of the bed to take a shower and get ready for the day.

Laughter was heard as Liz made her way to the pattio where everyone was sitting around a huge table enjoying there meal. "Maria you and Max so did not go to Enigma for New Years! I don't believe you." Alex cried as Max and Maria both held up there hands as if under oath.

"I swear to god. We found it in the dessert." They cried as Maria laughed. "Sure you did. I bet next thing you will be telling me is that while you were there in the desert you were abducted by these little green men about 4 feet tall." Alex said smiling "Well actuall they are more like 3 feet tall. I should know. I am an expert in these things you know." Max said as he and Alex burst into laughter.

"Well it's nice to hear you guys laughing again." Liz said as she gave Alex a hug. "Morning." Alex said as Liz sat down next to Max and gave him a kiss. "Ok now that everyone is here and Maria had chewed everyones ear off with the latest gossip. I think we should hear Alex's story." Kyle said smiling.

"Um well I am not really sure where to start." he said squeezing Isabels hand. He hestated and then took a deep breath. "Um let see I guess I could started after I found out the Tropolski worked for the FBI after I cracked into her computer one day after school during a meeting with her. At the time I didn't know about who Max,Micheal,Isabel or Tess where. So I could understand why the FBI would be at West Roswell High." Alex said looking at the pod squad. He then took a deep breath.

"You know how you guys have secrets well it turns out I have a few of my own. You see my dad was part of the FBI.He even got me into the business. I mean how else did we get that equpiement to watch Tess to see if she was an Alien. Anyway I did some research and it turns out that Tropolski worked for my dad's unit in the FBI. I didn't know this at the time so it was a huge shock when I found out.

After finding out about Max,Micheal,Isabel, and Tess my dad and his unit made a promise to keep you safe and away from harm. However our government had other plans. For years they had been tracking Alien life and lets just say that Nacados kill sprees back in 1955 was not very helpful. When they found out that Tess and Nascado were linked along with the other three Aliens some agents decided to try to capture you and do experiements on you.

Agent Pierce was one of them. When we found out that Troploski was killed by him. My dad tried to make sure they found his secret layer and shut it down. After Perice was killed we thought that his opperation was over with. It turns out we were wrong." Alex said as he looked on the shocked group as he continued his tale.

"Congress Whitager and Agent Pierce were very close. When I found out that Liz was working for her I was worried but once Pierce died we thought that the opperation had fallen through after the scientists found that there was on radiation on Pierces real bones confirming he was killed by an Alien. However The Pierce that Nascado was posing as caused Whitager to go inscane after she found out she killed a shapshifter instead of the real Pierce. When Whitager died we thought the whole situation was out to an end. That was until we got a call from Sweden saying she was working for an agency in stockhold.

Instead of sending my dad the FBI decided to send me because I was young and close in age to Max,Micheal,Isabel, and Tess. They thought I would be able to gather up more info to see if the government was after them. The cover up was that I was going to Sweden as part of the West Roswell High foreign exchange program. There I meet up with the Olsons who son and daughter worked for the CIA. I was assigned to work with my partner Leanna.

While I was there Leanna who along with her brother Johan worked for the Swedish Embassy. It was there that we found out that a Mr. Stockman was one of Congress Whitagers clients. Leanna and I found out that the files on you guys were still floating around the states along with files Whitagers was working on in Roswell. However being Whitager was a Alien we couldn't decoad the files.

So Leanna was sent to the states to pose as Jennifer Coleman a computer science student at Las Cruse University where she cacked the files along with your destiny book. However the plan was never revealed to her parents being they didn't know that Leanna brother was in and also worked for the CIA. That is why the Olsons didn't know where she was.

I was sent back after some time to help stay and protect you. But the whole Alien crystal jellyfish Queen situation with Grant didn't help much. After the Queen was dead I had to get back to Sweden to follow the government and find out what there plot was. However the only way I could do it was if they didn't know I was there.

My dad and I figured the best way would be to have me die in a fatal car crash to throw the FBI and the government off. The timing couldn't of been better. Because Tess mindwarp me into thinking I was in Sweden order to crack the destiny book it gave me the perfect allyby.

The night I found out what she was doing I clasped onto the floor thinking she killed me while Kyle dragged me to the car thinking I was luggage. Infact I was. I slipped out of the car before it hit the tree. I hoped however that you guys would figure out that it was not an accident. I have Liz to thank for that." He said smiling at her as tears filled her eyes.

"So anyway I was back in Sweden with my mom and dad and I later found out that an agent Burns had a warehiuse full of files on you guys. Once I learned it was burned I knew it was a matter of time before the plan to kill you guys was out. I found out that the Rodgers Air Base was holding the files so I went back to the states to get them. It was the night I was there that Tess's mindwarp blew it up causing massive hysteria as a result as people tried to escaoe from the fire.

That is why Tess you saw me running. I tried to save you but it was too late I saw the guards capture you taking you to the white room at the military base. While I was trying to find a way to rescue you I learned that the plan to kill Max,Micheal,Isabel, and even Liz was in full effect. So I sent Liz a memory flash it was a side affect of when I once dreamwalked with Isabel while she was locating Max when he was in the whiteroom. I prayed that it would work. I was so thankful it did.

However I had to save Tess so I went to the base lucky I saw Tess outside and dragged her to safty in the woods while the guards chased us. I lay her down in a grove of trees and scribbled a note hoping you would find her and know I was alive. I then ran to the lake and looked up at the stars and sent Isabel a vision that I was alive and that she had to help find me.

After I sent the vision I ran into the woods and escaped back to Sweden. Only to learn that the FBI was after you guys back in the states. I tried all I could to save you until I saw a blue flash in the sky and after that the FBI stopped chasing you and all evedence was distroyed." Alex said looking at the group.

"Max the flash must of been from your mother when we used the orbs to bring us home. She said that we didn't have to run anymore and that we were safe." Liz said in aw.

"After I saw the blue flash I then saw the sign of the royal V in the sky and I knew that you knew I was alive and that you would find me and bring me home and the rest is history." Alex said smiling finishing his story.

Isabel looked on Alex in amazement and whispered. Alex...I love you" She said giving him a great big hug. He smiled. "Alex you are the true soilder. You were alot stronger then me. I might of had the drive but you had the heart." Micheal said in a honorable tone as Alex nodded humbly.

"Micheal don't say that you are strong and have proven that may time when you risked it all to protect us. Don't ever second guess yourself."
Maria said as she kissed him smiling as he smiled back.

"Alex you are amazing. I love you. You are my best friend and I am so proud of you." Liz said as she hugged him. "Alex I don't know what to say but thank you." Max said all choked up as tears filled his eyes as he hugged him.

Tess and Kyle were next as they hugged him tearfully."Alex I have to had it to you you are a very rare and percious person and I as we all are are honored to know you. I am glad you are home safe and sound." Jim said patting him on the shoulder.

Jessie remained silent seeing the display that was taking place. "So Alex what do we do about the Olson case?" he said looking up at him. "Oh Jessie I got a fax this morning. It turns out that West Roswell High dropped the charges against the Olsons now that they know Alex is alive and that Leanna is home.She arrived here in Sweden this morning. Instead the school is now sweaing the Swedish government for frad" Jim said as he handed Jessie the document.

Jessie studied the document and then placed it down on the table. "Well I got to get back to Boston. I got a lot of work to do on this case." He said as he quickly got up from the tabel. "Oh Jessie You don't have to go" Alex said smiling. "Stay please." Isabel cried as she held Alex hand. "I am sorry I have to go. Would want to break up the happy homecoming or anything." He said looking at the two of them. "I will see you guys later I have to go pack and catch a flight." Jessie said as he abruply left. "Bye Jessie." The group cried.

"Speaking of heading back. We only have today and tomorrow in Sweden before we go back to Roswell. So enjoy the weather and see all there is to see while you can." Jim told the group as they nodded. "Will do dad. Come on Tess I told you I would teach you how to snowboard. Who's with me? What do you say Whitman?" Kyle said excitely as he clapped his hands. Alex looked at Isabel and smiled

"Sure why not. I have some killer moves I am dying to show you." Alex said as the four made there way inside. "Are you coming?" Micheal said looking at Maria as he joined the group.

"Sure" Maria said as she dragged Liz along with her. "Yeah Maria." Liz cried "I am sorry but honeymoon or not I am not spending another day here with out my best friend" She cried as Liz begged her to stop. "Max help save me" Liz pleaded. "Liz I wish I could but I know better not to mess with the Maria factor." He smiled looking into her eyes. "You can say that again" Alex yelled from inside as he laughed while Maria hurried up to him giving him a few loving tapps as he cried "Hey Maria come on stop". Alex said smiling.

"God what a group! How is it that out of all of the people in the world we became friends with them?" Max said as he and Liz laughed. "Because you loved me that's why" Liz said as she looked up at Max with begilling eyes.

Max smirked flashing a boyish smile. "Really cause I thought it was because of the third eye!" He said nugging her shoulder as she laughed remembering there inside joke.

They both then exchanged a smile before they kissed one another laughing as they ran to catch up with the others.
