Max and Kyle practically carried a very heavily pregnant Tess up the side of the mountain while Maria and Liz hearded the kids up after them. Alex, Isabel and Michael had been killed three weeks ago when the skins first began to attack Earth and now three weeks later it was almost over. Liz glanced over her shoulder to see the large ship gathering it's energy to fire the last shot. She turned back round and ducked inside the pod chamber then helped the kids inside
"Right children you have to go first. Don't be scared, don't worry okay" said Maria as she helped them up to the Granilith. Kyle supported his wife and made sure she got inside.
Maria pulled off the glowing jade necklace Michael had made for him and waved her hand splitting it into two copies. She put one copy around her children's necks
"I love you" she whispered then showed them what to do to get in.
"Jacob you look after Lisa do you hear me" said Max and Jacob nodded. Then his parents pulled him and his cousin close for a hug then helped them inside.
The four surviving Roswellians lifted their hands but a blast rocked the cave causing them to fall down
"Kyle!" cried Tess. Max and Liz crawled over to Kyle and he healed his head
"Quick!" he said as they shoved him up. They gave him some balance as the ground shook, he reached out to touch the skin of the Granilith. He could almost feel Tess's hand touching his then the timer began to beep and another blast rocked the cave
"NO!" she cried as he fell down and the cover slid over the Granilith skin. Maria crawled away from the wall and they all held each other in their final moments.
The Earth began to break up then it glowed green, part of the core burst out and it started to break up. A small ship battled against the dead debris fighting to make it free from the explosion, it cleared the dust and fire and shot off into space.

Jacob lifted his five year old cousin onto his shoulders and began to walk along the path. Earth had been destroyed a year ago along with everything he knew. Lisa was too young to remember the end of Earth or loosing her parents, a Dark Cloud passed over Antar the day that Earth was destroyed. The people who had prayed for The Royal Four to return grew furious when they found that Kivar had taken away their hope of freedom, they stormed the castle and killed him and all his guards.
Tess didn't leave her room after she gave birth prematurely to her son Kyle, no one bothered her because she had lost her home, her family and her husband.
"Jacob!" called Jondee as she ran down the path with Jesse trailing after her "Jacob!"
"What is it?"
"Larek wants to talk to you! He says it's important about Earth" said Jesse as she feigned out of breath. He lifted Lisa from his shoulders and put her down
"You kids go inside where it's safe and I'll be right back" he said as he made his way to the Chancellor's Room.
Larek was a short man with salt and pepper hair and wire glasses, he wore old robes and always smelt of paper, Jacob knocked on the door
"Larek?" he asked
"JayCob. Come in! Come in!" he said and pulled his young charge inside
"I have something really strange to show you!" he said as he pulled him towards the large computer
"This is the area around Earth. There's nothing there but moving debris right?"
"Yeah everyone knows that" said the fifteen year old
"Well have a look at this" he said and pressed a button to show Earth, there was debris around it but it looked perfectly complete and whole
"How is this possible?"
"I have no idea but it's back. It's there, with your permission JayCob I want to send out a search team"
"I want to go. The Royal Six are going" he announced quickly "Along with a search time"
"JayCob it is not safe, not for any you children or for Lady Tess"
"We're going. It's final, set the team up and get the ship ready. I'm going to tell the others" he said.
It took the Royal Six, which consisted of Tess, Jacob, Jondy, Jesse, Lisa and Kyle Jr, seven months to reach New Earth.

"He's steady and loyal and he... appreciates me" said Liz
"Sounds like you're describing a poodle" said Maria wrinkling her nose. The door opened and in walked a somber blonde followed by four kids and had one in her arms Maria shook her head, that girl was far too young to have so many kids.
"I don't believe it" whispered Tess "It looks like nothing happened"
"I know, oh my god... is that? Is that my mom!" gasped Jondy then she burst out laughing. Jesse began bouncing up and down then they shoved past a guy and ran straight at Maria
"MOMMY!" they chorused
"Jesse! Jondy!" called Jacob when Maria dropped the jug of coffee on the floor. Jacob pulled them back over to Tess, Tess was just standing there staring at Michael and Max sitting in the booth
"Max? Michael?" she whispered then began walking over to them.
"Aunty Tess. We should go now" said Jacob but she ignored him
"They're alive" she said and suddenly they both looked up at her with recognition on their faces. She sighed and just let Jacob pull her out, they needed a plan before they went into this blind.

"Is this your first time in Roswell?" asked the young clerk, she barely recognised him as one of her old school friends, Tess just smirked at him
"No, this is my home. I've come home" she replied as she shifted her son on her hip.
Kyle was one now and he only spoke Antarian so the others learnt to as well
"Welcome back" he smiled as he handed over the key to the rooms "What's your name? My parents might know your family..." Jesse who was standing next to Tess jumped on her heels
"We're gonna find our mommy Maria Guerin again!" she said
"I've never heard of her but I know a Michael Guerin. I'll let him know you're in town"
"No that's okay" said Jacob as he pulled Jesse away. They headed to the room to settle down for the night.

Max walked through the school as fast as he could towards Biology class. He was running really late after oversleeping for the first time in years. Max almost reached the door when Daryll stopped him
"Hey Max, you're a friend of Michael's aren't you?"
"Yeah why?"
"Well his family came to town last night. They're staying in my dad's Motel"
"Ok, thanks" he said as worry overcame him "I'll tell him" he said then went into class and saw Liz sitting there. He nervously went and sat next to her to hear Ms Hardy saying about taking a sample from his cheek.
"Can I get a bathroom pass?"
"High maintenance today aren't we" she said as she handed it over and he made a break for it.
He found Michael sitting in the bathroom sucking on a lollipop and skipping class
"What are you doing in the bathroom?" asked Max
"Trying to hide so when the FBI comes to get us they won't get me and I can rescue you and Isabel from them" he said sarcastically
"I couldn't just leave her Michael" said Max talking about saving Liz the day before
"Yes you could. She's going to want to know now, how you saved her life miraculously" he snarled as he slid off the counter near the sink
"She won't tell. I know, she's different" he said
"Our enemies are going to turn up and come after us Maxwell. She'll tell the Sheriff and then they'll come here and take us away to cut us into little pieces" he said
"I think..." began Max and Michael turned to face him when he trailed off
"What?"
"I think they're already here. Daryll told me that your family are staying in his dad's motel"
"What? When did he tell you? Have you been keeping this a secret? This is probably it! I'm going to get rid of them"
"Michael? NO! Don't go off on your own! You could make things worse!" he said and tried to grab Michael but he shoved him off and left.

Jacob sat up sleepily and rubbed his eyes. He could hear fierce banging on his door and for a moment he thought Kivar had come back to kill him until he woke up properly, he slid from his bed and rubbed his eyes as he opened the door then saw his uncle Michael standing there
"I want to talk to you" he said clearly and Jacob just nodded and stepped aside to let him in. The second the door shut he was pinned up to the door by an unseen force. Jacob sighed deeply as his eyes turned black, he turned round pushing against the weak energy of his uncle and tossed him back with the flick of his wrist. Michael landed on the chair against the wall and looked terrified at Jacob. Jacob glanced briefly to the double bed next to his where Lisa and the twins lay asleep
"Please, be quiet" said Jacob as his eyes returned to normal "The trip was long and they need their sleep"
"Who are you?" he whispered as Jacob moved away from the door and sat down on his bed
"My name is King Jacob Evans" he explained
"King? Evans?" he raised his eyebrow in surprise
"It feels so weird explaining this. To you" he confessed and rolled his eyes
"I got a message that you were my family. I don't have parents or brothers and sisters"
"I know" he said "We're none of them but we are your family Michael" he looked over to the other bed "The twins, the twins are your little girls"
"Excuse me?"
"They're your daughters" he said as he grabbed his jeans off the floor and pulled out his wallet "Here" he said and handed him a worn photo. The photo had Michael with his arms around Maria and his two little girls
"We all have photos of each of the families" he said as he handed him three other photos
"Grams insisted we get them taken when Grandpa got sick" he said as Michael looked through them
"I don't believe these" he said as he handed the photos back "I would never marry Maria and Isabel would never marry Alex Whitman"
"But she did. You did"
"Who was the fourth girl? Who married the Sheriff's son?"
"Tess? Auntie Tess was considered part of the four square. Why don't we go to the Pod Chamber. It'll prove everything to you" he said
"I'm not going any where alone with you unless you give me some real proof"
"I can't believe after everything I've done and shown you that you don't believe me!" he shouted "You want proof? Here!" he said as he pulled his shirt aside and showed him the burnt in scar of the Vee Symbol interwoven with the Seal of Antar "I'm your nephew. Max and Liz Evans's Son!"

Michael climbed in through the window and found the room empty. Today had been one of the weirdest days of his entire life, he was sure that it was going to get weirder. He sat down on the bed to wait for Max, he buried his head in his hands and tried to come to terms with everything he'd heard ealier that day. He didn't hear the door open while he sat there lost in thought.
Max wondered why Michael was sitting on his bed waiting for him, had Hank gotten worse than shouting? Had the FBI found them? So many thoughts and fears ran through his head as he stared at the top of Michael's bowed head
"Michael?" he whispered and he looked up surprised to see him there "What's wrong? What happened?"
"I don't even know how to explain it Maxwell. I... today is the best day of my life" he confessed but Max remained clueless "Maxwell... I'm a father" he said as his eyes began to water and he looked up at his alien brother "I'm a father" he repeated in wonder
"You mean a father as in children not in the preaching sense?" asked Max as he felt his anger rising. Michael was giving him a big lecture on saving Liz and he brought an alien human child into the world?
"Whose the mother? Wait how can you be a father, you don't spend time with anyone but me and Isabel... Oh God! It's Isabel isn't it? You and Isabel?" he gasped
"No it's not! Isabel is my sister, I don't feel anything for her but brotherly love. No the mother is Maria Guerin"
"Guerin? You're married to her as well?!" cried Max in disbelief "You're only sixteen and you have a kid and your married? What does her mother think or is she an older woman?"
"Max... look I want to call a meeting. All of us" he said "With my wife and my nephew and my other brothers and sisters in law" he confessed
"You think you've found your family?" he deduced "That family at the motel? So what? Now you're just going to abandon me and Isabel because you've found your real parents? Are they going to take you home?"
"I don't know..." he said honestly and looked away "I never even thought about leaving Earth you know!"
"Okay so whose going to be at this 'meeting' you want called?"
"You, Isabel, Liz, Maria, Alex, Kyle, Tess, Jacob, Kyle Jr, Jesse, Jondy and Lisa"
"Why should I invited Liz, Maria, Alex and Kyle? I don't even know who the other people are"
"Look we'll explain when we all get out to Lake Lee" said Michael "Will you just call them?" Max sighed and picked up the phone going against his better judgement.

Tess smoothed down her shirt and sighed nervously for the tenth time as she primped in front of the mirror
"What if he doesn't like me? What if he doesn't like our son? What if he doesn't want to be with me because I'm an alien?" she asked and Jacob just chuckled. All the other Earth Survivors had piled into the one room to get ready for the Lake Lee meeting
"They'll love you. Uncle Kyle loved you last time didn't he?" he said and she just nodded
"Yeah, yeah you're right. But what if..."
"It'll be fine" he reminded her before she had another panic attack "Look it's time to go. The van is waiting outside for us, the Royal Guards are all ready and we have to go now" he said she nodded as she reached out for Kyle Jr. But Jacob got there first "I know you Tess Valenti, don't hide behind your son" she offered him a thankful smile glad that her nephew knew her so well.
The Royal Guards were all wearing green silk blazers with the Vee Symbol over the breast and black trousers, they were waiting to help the young princesses into the van. Out of all the smaller families Kyle Jr and Jacob were the only males born, the rest were all girls. He sat his cousin on his knee and took Tess's hand he could feel her practically shaking with fear
"It'll be okay. Don't worry" he said and she just nodded but it did nothing for her nerves.

"What are we doing out here. With them?" hissed Maria as she slid closer to Liz and away from the leering eyes of those aliens
"Look would someone tell me what's going on? Do you know?" he asked Alex but Alex just shook his head
"Michael's the only one who knows what's going on and he won't tell us what it is"
"I'm missing football practice for this so called emergency!" snarled Kyle as he began to walk back to his car but a cloud of dust came closer and closer until it revealed a white van
"They're here!" gasped Michael excitedly and he smiled, Isabel and Max shared a glance. They had never seen him so excited before, these people must have really made him believe them. The van pulled to a stop and several men got out looking round for possible threats before they opened the back door.
Jacob and Tess were last out, seeing as they were the old Queen and new King of Antar. Jesse and Jondy were holding hands when they came around the side of the door and spotted their father
"Daddy!" they both squealed and ran towards Michael. He dropped to his knees and threw his arms out to hug them
"This is what I'm here for? A friggin family reunion? Coach Clay is so going to bust my ass for this" said Kyle as he moved to walk off again but two more people came from the back of the van holding hands. Michael slowly rose to his feet when he saw Jacob carrying Kyle Jr
"Thank you" he whispered "Thank you so much" he said as tears filled his eyes "You don't know what this means" Tess stood there wringing her hands nervously as she stared hard at Kyle
"What are you looking at?" he sneered and she sucked in a breath. Jacob looked to her to see tears forming in her eyes
"I was right. You do hate" she sniffed "I should have never come here. I mean... what was I thinking that you would actually love me like you did before" she turned to run but Jacob wouldn't let her go
"Auntie Tess, please let's explain before you run off. He doesn't even know you yet, remember they don't remember who we are. Here it's 1999," he said. Michael went over and gave her a hug
"If you're half the woman that Jacob said you were I love you Tess. My sister" he whispered in her ear and she grabbed onto him for dear life
"Is she your children's mother?" Max bit out harshly staring down the petite blonde
"Please, can we just explain. You may not believe this but apart from Tess and the Royal Guards, all the kids here are your kids. Even me"
"You're right!" laughed Alex "I don't believe you!"
"My mom was shot" Jacob blurted out "She was shot and healed by my father. My father jumped up and healed a bullet hole six inches below her ribs, it would have killed her. When my parents were nineteen they eloped and on their honeymoon I was concieved. My father was an alien and because he healed my mother he changed her into an alien too"
"Aliens?" grinned Kyle "You're an alien? Well despite being a total waste of time this is sure a hoot and a half" he looked round and Alex seemed to be agreeing with him; Maria too! Jacob scowled and lifted his hand as his eyes grew black, he had never expected this resistance. Where were the people who were his family? He raised his hand and a shield was thrown out, he poured enough energy to make it building sized. Kyle jumped in surprise
"Christ! Christ you really are a freaking alien!" he cried "You're real! Oh My God" Jacob began to chuckle at Kyle's reaction
"It sounds so weird hearing you use Christian terms. You became a Buddhist after you were healed"
"Look, look we know you're aliens. Why don't you just tell us who you are instead of messing about like this" snapped Liz as she stepped forward waving her arms. A guard stepped in front of Jacob protecting him but he held up his hand
"The Queen who never hurt me. Stand down" he said clearly and the guard stepped back "In case you haven't figured it out already my name is King Jacob Joel Evans, my parents are Max and Liz Evans"
"Liz's son is a king? Well that means that... OMG Liz! Why didn't you ever tell me you were Royalty!" gasped Maria
"I'm not..." she said and looked to Max
"I am" said Max coming to the conclusion "I'm not just some alien am I?"
"No dad you're not" replied Jacob

"Max is an alien? So let me get this straight Max, Isabel, Michael and you and the blonde are aliens?" asked Kyle smirking
"Kyle I wouldn't joke about this. If they really are aliens they could... do something to you"
"Jesse, Jondy? Do you still have your parents necklace?" asked Tess and they nodded
"Give each part to your parents" said Jacob. Jesse pulled off her copy and walked up to Maria and Jondy handed hers to Michael
"Whoa. No way! You mean Michael and Me? With Kids?" gasped Maria "No chance!" she shook her head "It ain't happening!"
"Mommy" whispered Jesse as she held the necklace out "Please" Maria looked down into those hazel eyes and sighed. She rolled her eyes and took the necklace putting it on. She gasped allowed as flashes of all the necklace's wearer had seen before the Earth was destroyed. Maria was practically shaking with tears running down her face. She fell to her knees
"My babies!" she cried pulling the twins close "Oh my God! Michael! Oh Michael I thought I'd lost you!" she held out her hand for him and he took it.
"My father was the King of Antar he was sent here with his bride, his sister and his second in command. I do know that Dad and Auntie Tess were meant to be together but they both fell for other people. My parents eloped at nineteen and Tess..."
"I fell for my husband. We tried so hard to have children, all he wanted was to have a little son and watch him grow up. I only found out I was pregnant a few months before..." she looked away then looked back "I gave birth to a son. I named him after his father..."
"What's his name?" asked Isabel
"Kyle. Kyle Valenti Jr" she said and all eyes turned to Kyle who had turned pale. Alex was smirking at Kyle, then he elbowed him
"Haha! You knocked up an alien!" he chuckled
"So did you bro" said Michael and Alex fell silently
"What? Huh? Who? I didn't knock that blonde up as well did I?" he gasped
"Not that blonde" he said then nodded at Isabel
"Is- As in Isabel-Ice-Princess-Of-Popularity Evans? You have to be kidding"
"Uncle Alex, meet the apply of your eye. Lisa Whitman" said Jacob as he pushed her forward. Tess had slid closer to Kyle who was still in shock and quite pale
"Look, if we did all these things then why don't remember them? We're still only kids ourselves. I mean we're a little young to be married and to have a family" he pointed out "Why don't we remember you all?" Jacob and Tess shared strange and nervously glances and Maria stood up
"It's because we died isn't it" she stated "Earth was destroyed and the only survivors were you guys. Kyle saved his wife and unborn child and we saved our children. We didn't make it into the Granilith before the time ran out" she said
"No, my parents. They tried to help Kyle get in so he could see his son grow up but the blast knocked him down then the shield closer over and we were off to Antar"
"Antar is..."
"Our home planet" said Jacob
"Are our, are our parents alive?" asked Michael but Jacob shook his head
"Long time dead I'm afraid. I'm sorry" he apologised "Look we're only here for two weeks before we have to return to Antar"
"No!" cried Maria as she grabbed onto her two little girls
"Earth was destroyed! It was gone, we're only here to figure out why it appeared out of no where!" he cried
"I don't care! You're not taking my children away!" she shouted
"I'm sorry aunty Maria but as King of Antar and cousin I have the power to take them back!" Michael stepped in front of Maria and the girls
"No"
"I have to do it! I'm doing what you told me! You feared that you wouldn't be able to protect your children and you made me swear that if anything happened to you or Earth then I would! They've been with me for the past year! Kyle will never know his father and Lisa can't remember her parents! I'm the only one they've got!" he shouted
"What if we come with you?" asked Kyle "What if we go with you to... to Agmar?" Tess stared at him "If you're taking the children home to safety then I want to go with you. If this Kyle Jr is my son then I'm going with you, but I'll need... need some proof" Tess just nodded letting her blonde curls bounce as she reached out and pulled him close for a kiss. Flashes lit his eyes up and he saw the night Kyle Jr was conceived
"I'm going with you" he said as his hands trailed over her hair and he touched foreheads with her "I love you Tess"
"Oh my god Kyle I love you too" she said then he looked down at their son
"My little baby boy!" he said as he held his son for the first time "Oh he has my eyes" he noticed and smiled "I'm going with you"
"I've always wanted a family and now I have one. I'm not letting it slip away. I'm going to Antar with my daughters"
"I'm going with him. I don't care if the atmosphere hurts me I want to be with my children" added Maria

Another van came tearing up as Isabel was walking off and Jacob got the guards to stop her. Larek jumped out waving a piece of paper
"I've got the answers! I know why Earth reappeared!" he cried as he ran past the guards and handed the paper to Jacob.
"Several core energy fields are coming from Maria Guerin, Kyle Valenti, Max Evans and Liz Evans" he read aloud then looked to Larek "What does it mean?"
"It means that those four people are keeping Earth alive" he said and Jacob looked up at his parents "If they are taken from this area of space Earth and all its inhabitants will cease to exist"
"Larek, get all the ships in the fleet here now. We're going to evacuate Earth"
"What? That would take... months! Years!" he cried
"I want it done. My parents couldn't save Earth the first time around I'm not going to let it get destroyed again!"
"Jacob? What does that mean?" asked Maria "Can't I go with my daughters to Antar?"
"If she does this planet and everything on it will cease to exhist. You're one of the beings keeping this world alive"
"So you're taking my little girls back without me? No! I'm leaving this planet with them! I don't care if it ends" she cried
"Aunt Maria. If you stay here till we've evacuated all of Earth then you have the rest of your life to spend with them. Please, if it were safe for them to stay here I'd let them but we don't know how long we have. We're only here for two weeks because it's the maximum planet investigation time, do you really want Jesse and Jondy to be caught in this when you run out of strength? If this planet disappears then so do you and we'll all be left floating in space" she just nodded
"I have the two weeks with them then you'll take them back to Antar"
"I can go with them Maria. Don't worry I'll make sure nothing ever happens to them" Michael promised her
"Alex, Isabel and Michael are the only ones who can come with us. But we have plenty of room on the ship. It's an industrial cruiser so any parents, friends or family you want to come with us then it should be done in the next two weeks"
"Is this real?" asked Isabel "I mean could we really go home? I don't know what to believe anymore"
"Mommy?" whispered Lisa reaching out her arms. She looked down at the five year old and felt something stir inside her
"If I ever had a daughter I would have called her Lisa" she whispered to herself smiling
"You did" replied Tess, Isabel glanced over at her and felt familiarity then she looked back to the expectant girl before her
"She's really my little girl?" she asked Jacob nodded
"You and Alex created this life. She's your flesh and blood, look at her eyes, she has the same colour of hair from when you were a little girl"
"She does look at lot like you Isabel" added Liz
"If she's really my daughter then what's her middle name?"
"My miggle names Lex, short of Alexandra and afta my daddy" said Lisa "It's Lisa Lex Whitman" Isabel gasped and clapped her hand over her mouth. She reached out and pulled Lisa up into a hug, Lisa wrapped her small arms around her neck and hugged her
"Oh My God" she gasped as she stroked her hair. Alex felt a large sense of pride when Isabel finally believed Lisa was her daughter. He couldn't help but walk over to them and put his hand on Lisa's back. Lisa swung an arm out and wrapped it around his neck pulling him close too, Alex and Isabel just shared a glance before they both blushed. They had been intimate, she had found someone she trusted to create a life and he had had a kid with Isabel Evans.
Jacob watched his cousins all with their families and he stood there nervous for the first time. He kicked dirt until he spotted Liz and Max staring at him. He just nodded and bit his lip, Max chuckled and walked over to him. Liz followed a few seconds after him and took hold of his hand.
"Liz does that all the time"
"What?" he asked
"Bites her lip like that, when she's nervous" he said "So you're our son"
"Yes" he replied
"You're so grown up" noted Liz and he just nodded
"I had to be. You asked me to protect my cousins and make sure that nothing ever happened to them, I had to make you proud" he said and Liz sighed. She pulled him close and he began to cry "Mom" he sobbed as Max threw his arms around them "Dad"
"It's okay son. We're very proud of you" said Liz "We love you so very much" she could feel maternal instinct kicking in.

Jeff Parker watched as the large group of kids walked in with his daughter around four o'clock. They were laughing and hugging and he had never seen his little Lizzie so happy before
"Hey guys, what'll it be"
"Dad, I'd like you to meet some of my new friends. This is Tess and her son Kyle, her nieces and nephew Lisa, Jondy, Jesse and Jacob"
"It's nice to meet you. Hey Kyle" he waved to Kyle
"Hey Mr P" he replied
"And this is Max Evans" she said and smiled "His sister Isabel and his brother Michael. Look there's some things we'd like to discuss with you in the back" she said as the smile slowly drifted from her face. The first thoughts that came to Jeff's mind was 'she's gotten pregnant', 'she wants to join a cult', 'she's got a job as a stripper' but he had no idea she was about to ask him to board a ship and leave Earth before it vanished again!

"Dad, I didn't introduce you to my new... err friends properly" she said "Why don't you sit down?"
"I'm fine just tell me what's going on" he demanded, he repeated over and over in his head 'please not a cult, please not a cult, please not a cult'
"This is King Jacob Evans... he's an alien human hybrid from the planet..."
"Antar" said Jacob firmly
"An... alien human hybrid. Liz, it's not April and I know you're responsible enough not to take drugs so how can you rationally stand there and say aliens exist?"
"Because I... I'm his mother" she said, it was one of the most difficult things he ever had to say in his life
"What? That's impossible! You're sixteen and he's... fifteen sixteen?"
"I'm fifteen and I am her son"
"I don't believe you, if you were her son then she would be an alien"
"Not nessecarily (sp?). My father was part alien, so it doesn't really matter if she's human or alien"
"Liz? You had sex with an alien?" gasped Jeff
"Dad no... he's not a full alien... he's a hybrid too"
"I don't care!" he cried "You're going to Vermont to the Winniman Academy"
"No! You cannot seperate her from us!" cried Maria "I will not let you destroy my chances of seing my little girls grow up!" she shouted
"You have to know the truth Grandpa, the Earth will end. Ships are going to be coming to evacuate Earth. It will take a very long time to do this but..."
"But I want you and mom to be the first people on the ship. Please dad, I don't want anything to happen to you"
"No. This is crazy"

Syrus carried a kicking and screaming Jeff Parker into the ship. Nancy was still a little unsure about it all but she believed and trusted her daughter.
"Liz are you sure that we're doing the right thing?"
"I am mom. I wish I could come with you" she said then pulled her mom into a big hug "I'm going to miss you but Jacob will look after you, dad and Grandma Claudia" she stepped back and moved towards Max who was saying goodbye to his parents. They walked up into the light and got pulled inside the ship. Max took hold of Liz's hand, the past two weeks had been the strangest and best of their lives. Kyle put his hand on Liz's shoulder and Max put his arm around Maria. The two weeks had made the four closer than they ever imagined.
Jacob watched as the guards piloted the ship up and out of Earth's atmosphere. Jeff, sat on his right, was still shouting and screaming his head off. Nancy sat on his left gasped and squeezed her eyes shut reaching out for his hand, she held it tight as fear took over. When the ship levelled out she opened her eyes and saw him smiling at her. The kids were undoing their belts and pushing off from their seats to float around the main room. Nancy watched in awe as she saw Earth for the first time
"It's so beautiful" she whispered "Jeff come and look at this!" she said as she floated towards him and undid his safety belt and pulled him closer and closer to the screen.
"Okay guys you've had your fun. This is going to be a long seven months in space so it's time to get some sleep" said Jacob and the kids groaned
"Seven months sleep" pouted Lisa "I don't want to go"
"We're going to sleep for seven months?" asked Michael
"Is that possible?" added Isabel
"Stasis, we go into stasis and we'll be there in seconds" he said. They all headed to the stasis chamber and climbed into the little cubicles. There was a flash and then they looked around
"What's wrong? Did it work?" asked Alex as he peeked his head out "Mine's not working"
"It did daddy. We's been a sleep for long time" she said as she stepped down and went back to the control room. There others were stretching and going after her. Antar's acid green and dark blue surface came into view on the screen
"Good sleep time your majesty" said the pilot in Antarian
"Thank you" he replied as the ship went in for a landing "Everybody, welcome to Antar"

Se'Lee'Na came running up and shook their hands, she spoke only in Antarian but was very excited to meet the first full human visitors
"Alkblet anmiyu hitaichi ek pat tice e m'bet" she said, Jeff just smirked at her
"She reminds me of Maria" he said and she looked to Jacob for a translation
"Hi'bet morti nuop alleedta asasam asa e orp Maria" he told her and her eyes went wide and began to fill with tears. She bowed her head to his hand and began talking rapidly
"What is she saying?"
"She's saying that it is truly an honour to be compared to Lady Maria herself" he explained and Jeff just nodded and tried to get his hand back. Se'Lee'Na straightened herself up and then moved towards one of the guards who was holding a box. She unlocked it with a wave of her hand and revealed several crowns inside. The Antar gang all got down on one knee as she placed their crowns upon their heads but there were four more crowns left. She walked over to Jeff and put one on his head and did the same with the other parents
"Egort Anta" she said with a smile
"Why are we wearing crowns?" whispered Diane to her daughter who was green with jealousy. Michael was just happy to be with his daughters
"You're our grandparents. Parents of the King and Queen"
"But I thought Tess was the queen..." said Alex, he had heard Jacob refer to her as they old queen
"She's the old queen and sometimes called that but the true Queen of Antar is my mom. Tess is a princess now like you Aunt Izzy, don't worry they'll be more crowns we didn't really expect you to return after Earth was destroyed" he explained. Lisa grabbed onto her parents hands and pulled them towards the city.
"Captain" Jacob called his head security guard up, then spoke in Antarian "Make sure they arrive at the palace safely. There are a lot of angry people out there who still believe Vee'Lon'Dira betrayed her family"
"Sir yes sir" he replied then nodded two guards to tail them.
"So... let's go sort some rooms out for you okay?" he said
"I don't care if I'm sleepin in a sty as long as I have Jesse and Jondy with me" said Michael and the girls grabbed a hand each and began to swing his arms
"Come and see my room Daddy!" said Jesse then Jondy scowled at her sister
"No! He's coming to see my room first. I'm older he likes me better!"
"Hey, hey, hey! Why don't you show me my room. I hope it's next to yours" he said intervening
"I bet it's closer to mine" said Jondy and stuck her tongue out
"No his room is closer to my room!" whined Jesse as they headed through the city. Jacob just nodded at them and two guards began to follow them
"Aunty Tess I'll see you at dinner okay? Do you need me to mind Kyle for you?"
"No, we're going out to the gardens. I have no reason to be sad anymore, I have my Kyle back. He's alive and I am not living in the dark, not like I used to" she said and walked off with her body guard behind her.
"I guess you're with me" he smiled at his grandparents
"We are so going to spoil you rotten" said Diane as she patted his cheek. He had never had grandparents before so he wasn't quite sure to act, he just smiled and reached out for Se'Lee'Nas hand and nervously bit his lip
"My god. Look at that! He is Liz's son! Just looking at him bite his lip, god it's so like Liz!" gasped Jeff making him blush
"We um... we best be getting back to the palace. It'll get dark soon and even though Kivar's been dead for a year there are still rebel groups out here away from the cities" he explained. Diane grabbed his other hand and gave it a squeeze and he ducked his head shyly
"I hope you know how proud you make us. You're fifteen and you're running an entire planet by yourself"
"Five" he corrected her and her eyes went wide
"Five planets? Oh my word! But you're just a boy"
"Yeah but I'm the King. There's no one else to do it" he replied sadly as he pulled away from her hand and he and his girlfriend walked off.

Jacob moved about his old room. It felt strange being back on Antar, strange to be sitting here in the dark. Se'Lee'Na had gone to her room with the excuse of being tired and now here he sat in the dark an hour later. He felt such emptiness as he wrapped his arms around his legs, even his family gave him no warmth. He had become a hollow being, a protector of the people, he wasn't sure how to act now that his parents tried to care for him.
He had been alone for a long, long time now; his parents were never around because of the war, they were always off trying to save Earth and they forgot all about the little boy they brought into the world. His grandparents had been killed when he was just a little baby so there was no one to watch him or his cousins when they went off to protect the little bit of Earth that was under attack. Now he was older and he was the King now, everyone came to him for help but he had no idea how to help himself. What must it be like to be human? Even if he had human parents that ignored him he'd still be normal and he would never be in a life like this. He pulled on his pyjamas and moved to the window overlooking the well tended gardens of Antar. What had he done to deserve this? He couldn't ride a bike and didn't know how to play soccer or football, he couldn't remember watching TV. He quickly sat down with his back to the balcony railings and threw his arms around his legs.

Nancy had watched her grandson Jacob wander off up to his room with Se'Lee'Na in tow, the girl looked bored and he seemed to sense it. There was a sadness surrounding him when he spoke and it broke her heart seeing him like that.
After nightime had settled and the second moon cast it's orange glow over the land and Jeff had fallen asleep she lay awake, she could hear sobbing from down the hall and had a pretty damn good clue who it was. She slid from her bed and pulled on her robe fastening it quickly before Jeff woke up and asked her where she was going. She opened the door but didn't see any guards outside, she pulled the door shut softly behind her and took off down the hall and up the stairs towards the King's chamber; Liz wasn't the only one who could be sneaky. She opened the door and shut it as she watched the hall to see if she had caught anyone's attention. She hadn't.
The room was pitch black and she could barely see, there was a sliver of light coming from the balcony and she could hear the sobbing a lot clearer now. She walked barefoot over the carpet and cold brown stone floor towards the large gaping balcony. She didn't see him a first and jumped when she did, he was curled up in shorts and a blue t-shirt in the corner of the balcony. Her heart went out to him, he had never know a life like an ordinary boy should have.

Jacob watched through blurry eyes as the figure moved towards him. For a moment he thought it was his mama coming to tell him off for breaking something but after he rubbed his eye with his arm and saw that it was his grandma Nancy. She pulled him up off the floor and away from the cold nights air and back into the room. She grabbed a blanket off a chair and wrapped him up. She set him down on the small couch and poked at the fire instantly warming the room up. She flopped down next to him and held out her arms. He stared at her confused
"You may be the King of five or six planets but you're still my grandson and I will always be here when you need me" she said she grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him in for a warm hug.
He felt strange, this was new to him. Someone hugging him because they wanted to, someone breaking the unwritten rules that they must not touch their King; she hadn't even been ordered to comfort him
"Why are you hugging me? Aren't you afraid you'd get into trouble?"
"Why? For caring for my grandson? I don't care if they put me in shackles and chains" she said. She hand curled around the shoulder of her robe
"I still don't understand. I didn't order you, and you're not afraid. Why would you want to hug me?"
"Because you're still just a baby. You need this and because you're my grandson and I love you"
"But I still don't understand" he whispered as he began to cry "I just want to know why you'd come to make sure I was okay in the middle of the night? No one else did before, why now? Why you? Why do you care?"
"Someone has to. Now shush, you've been raised to not understand it and you don't have to. Just close your eyes and try and sleep, you're safe now" she said and he just nodded and closed his eyes.

Max was sat on his bed looking over the little photo of his son. He was in the photo with his arm around Liz while she was holding the little toddler. They seemed so happy. He had a family, he was holding the proof right in front of him. He sat up in bed and touched Liz's smiling face with his thumb and saw a flash of them on a date, he could feel her happiness which made him smile. He gently ran his hand over his smiling face and could feel nothing but happiness with a nagging sense of worry. Max frowned, had the war started then? He shook his head and looked at the last smiling face, his son should have been the happiest of them all with that big grin plastered on his face and his eyes lit up. He smiled at the image, he wondered what that happy day was. Max wished and wished that he could remember what it was, was it a birthday? A trip out somewhere? Where he and Liz married then? He was alone in his house, Isabel and his parents had gone to Antar. He swung his legs around the edge of his bed and thought briefly about going to see Maria. He sighed contently then touched the last image on the photo. Jacob.

*Flash*

A roaring ten year old carrying a machine gun in one hand and the other outstretched, blood had splattered over his left shoulder and a little on his face as he ran and fired at a skin aiming for the middle.

*Flash*

Hugging the boy then pushing him towards the Granilith. Anger and loneliness plaguing him deeply. He hated his parents, yet was bound by the duty to try and please them, to try and be a son that they'd want. He put his arm around his cousin and held his head up, he wanted to make them proud. He felt like a failure that he hadn't been able to do it before in his young fourteen years.

Max fell back and rolled over his bed and landed on the floor with a thud. His heart was hammering in his chest, all the things that poor little boy had done because he thought he was earning his parents respect. He had been on his own all his life trying to make his parents proud, killing and fighting the skins before he even know how body parts fuctioned! He picked the crumpled up and smoothed it out then grabbed his phone calling Liz.

The five of them gathered out by Lake Lee. Max had the photo in his pocket still a little terrified to touch it Liz and Maria were sat down on a boulder and Kyle had his hands jammed in his pockets. Valenti was sitting on the hood of Kyle's car.
"So what's this all about? Do you know if they've reached Antar yet?" asked Liz as she shivered and Maria pulled her closer against the cold morning air
"No... that's not it. I... I got a flash off this photo" he said pulling it out
"You woke us up at six in the morning because of some alien induced vision?" snapped Kyle. Max glared at him
"Give me your hand" he ordered and Kyle snarled at him then held his hand out. Max grabbed his friends hand and pressed it flat against the picture. Kyle gasped out loud as his eyes went blank

He stumbled back and fell on the floor. Kyle's palm collided with a large rock and it melted under his hand
"What-What-What? What the hell was that? Don't ever do that again!" he shouted
"What? What happened? What did you see?" demanded Liz curiously
"You really are a monster. When this is all over and we get to... to Antar I'm taking Tess and my son far, far away from you" he said as he stood up and walked off towards the broken cliff.
"What did he say?" begged Maria, she wanted to know what it was that made him react that way. Max picked up the photo and handed it to Liz, nothing happened as she gingerly held it. She looked up at Max and waiting for something
"Touch Jacob's part of the picture" he ordered and she did. She felt it, saw it, she lived everything her son had been through. He had carried that photo everywhere with him and it had seen as much as he had
"Dear God" she breathed "What have we done to him?"

She looked down at the metallic frame that Michael had helped her build, she still had to tell herself that she was on an alien planet surrounded by aliens.
"It's perfect" he said "But wait... one more touch" he touched the metal and it turned a chrome blue
"Thanks Michael. I'm sure he'll love it" said Nancy as she wheeled it off to the courtyard outside the King's Chambers.
She knocked on the door and opened it, she saw all strange officials staring at her as she came into the room
"Jakey? I have a present for you" she said and he blushed
"Umm... thanks Grandma Nancy" he said and glanced to the corner where several scantily clad young women stood. She scowled at them for a moment
"What's with the exotic dancers?" she asked
"They're my... presents from the officials" he said sadly and a little embarrased
"Oh My!" she gasped then something clicked "Did you think that I... Jacob come with me right now. All meetings and orders and things are on hold" she said aloud and they began to moan and complete. She narrowed her eyes at them "NOT ANOTHER WORD!" she hissed as she took Jacob's hand and pulled him from that room "I don't care what they say or do you are not going back in that room unless you have my permission do you hear me?" she said and he nodded bowing his head. She lifted his chin looking into his eyes "You haven't done anything wrong, it's those creatures in there that are messed up!" she said narrowing her eyes angrily at the door
"Ok Grandma Nancy" he said, he believed her too. She smiled and turned back to him
"Right then! As I was saying... your special present" she said as she pointed to the shiny blue bike Michael had helped make. He gasped then grinned
"It's perfect! Thank you so much Grandma Nancy!" he said then looked up at her "What is it?"
"It's a bike" she said and he nodded running his hands over the smooth metal
"So this is a bike. I'm afraid I do not know how to ride it" he said sadly, she rubbed his back
"I know, I'm going to teach you" she said and his mouth fell open
"Really?" he asked as his eyes lit up
"Really really!" she replied, he launched himself at her giving the biggest hug he'd ever given
"Thank you!" he cried and she chuckled as they wheeled it out towards the open area. She helped him get on and watched as he wobbled nervously "I'm not so sure about this"
"You'll be fine" she assured him "I'm right behind you. Put your feet on the pedals" she said and he lifted up. She kept tight hold of the back while he got his balance
"Grandma Nancy! I'm scared" he cried
"I'm right here. I won't let anything happen to you" she promised "Now pedal"
"Don't let go!" he shouted as he began to pedal
"I'm not until you're ready!" she replied as she followed the bike along. She let one hand drop to her side, he glanced back quickly and saw she was still there. Nancy let go and he kept pedalling; she kept running behind him until he looked over his shoulder and saw she wasn't holding on
"I'm doing it!" he shouted "I'm riding my bike!" he said, she slowed to a stop and he began laughing "Look at me! Look at me! I'm doing it!" he shouted to anyone who would hear him. She watched as he got closer and closer to the village then a blue bolt came flying out of nowhere towards him. Her mouth fell open
"JACOB! STOP!" she cried, he turned around to look at her and lost his balance falling to the ground just as the bolt missed his head. She sprinted out to meet him half way and grabbed hold of his hand "Run Jacob!" she yelled as they made their way back up the hill
"We're almost there" he said. Guards came pouring out to meet them, they pulled Jacob away from her and shoved her back as a threat
"Grandma Nancy! Grandma!" he called out trying to reach out for her hand
"Jacob!" she called but got pushed farther and farther away.

Jacob sat in his room staring at the bike. The Royal Advisors, Larek and his Captain Bodyguard all told him off for leaving his duty to act daft with the bike. They all voted to have it destroyed for his safety, he begged and pleaded with them to keep it then Nancy had come in and slapped Larek, his Captain Bodyguard and every Royal Advisor. He could remember her very words as they stood there shocked 'how dare you try and rob a little boy of his very first bike. It was a present to him from me, if you're going to take my grandsons things away from him I'll take him away from you and your weak excuse of an empire. Let the boy have some fun! He's only fifteen for godsake!' he snorted at the memory.
"Hey? Are you okay?" asked Nancy. She had spent so much time by his side
"I still have my bike" he smiled as she came to sat on the bed next to him
"I didn't ask about the bike. I asked about you"
"Today was so much fun. Even when we were running away from that Rebel but they were so angry at me. Maybe... maybe I'm not supposed to have fun? Maybe that's why my parents sent me here"
"They sent you here to protect you. Because they love you, they wanted you to have a good full happy life, it's those aliens that don't want you to be happy and have fun" she said coldly "That's it. Grab a bag right now"
"What? Why?" he asked
"Because I'm going to kidnap you. Pack all your clothes up and meet me in the courtyard as soon as you're done" she said before hurrying to her room. She was kidnapping him? He was going to be free...?

"Find him! FIND HIM!" roared the Captain Guard "She should have been killed, she got far too close to him!"
"What are you talking about? He ordered us not to look for him" protested Larek. He would follow Jacob's rule to the end of any Earth.
"So, he's a dummy. Do you really think he could run this galaxy by himself? We need him back now before he finds out the truth!"
"What's going on Myrus?" asked Larek
"Nothing for you to be concerned Larek" he hissed before he turned and walked out of the room carrying the letter.

"Slow down!" cried Jacob as he clung tightly to his Grandmother's back. She was in her fifties and doing really well getting about, she had always stayed in shape and now she was grateful for it.
"We have to get far enough away before they start looking for us"
"It's okay. I told them not to"
"I don't think they're going to not look for you after you decided to tell them you'd been kidnapped" she quipped as they left the forest just past the city gates.
"Please, slow down we're going to crash!" he cried she sighed and slowed to a stop. He climbed off the bike shaking and sat down on a fallen tree trunk
"Are you okay?"
"I have to... I have to pee" he announced and ducked behind some bushes. She shook her head then she heard something rustle near the gloomy pillars of the forest. She looked around and thought she spotted someone out of the corner of her eye
"Jacob come here quickly" she said. He zipped his pants up wiping his hands on his plant trousers as he stood by her side. She wrapped an arm around him and led him back to the bike "I think we should go now" she said continuing to stare at the bush. She had got him back on the bike when a net came down over their heads. Jacob screamed and gripped her harder, the bike crashed to the earth and she did all she could to keep him from riggling and getting tangled. A fierce looking women with dark brown hair and what appeared to be Viking uniform stood over them
"Who are you and why have you to here?" she demanded
"We're not telling you anything" said Nancy coolly, she wouldn't give into this tough looking girl.
"Get the net off them" the girl ordered and the net was dragging from them. Nancy got up and swung a good right hook at the girl catching her in the chin and sending her sprawling back
"Bitch! You could have hurt him!" she shouted, several aids ran to the girl's side but she shrugged them off rubbing her chin whilst smirking
"He your lover?" she asked nodding at the younger boy
"No, he's my Grandson. No one protected him and I... I crossed over from the dead to care and protect him"
"You're a spirit?" gasped the girl "His spirit protector? Forgive me! Forgive me!" gasped the girl as the rag-tag gang of girls fell to their knees "I'm Ruslana Sel'Ena, you must stay with our tribe. We move from place to place to avoid the horrid King's scouts"
"You're rebels?" gasped Jacob suddenly becoming more afraid
"Yes. We don't want Kivar on the throne though, we just want King Zan back. It was good back then, this King who claims to be his son... bah it's nonsense! Ava was never to be trusted" she said then gestured for them to follow her "Come. Come. We'll bring your... eh mode of transport with us" she said looking at the bike with suspicion
"It's a bike. It's like a horse but with wheels" explained Nancy
"A horse?" asked Ruslana, Nancy just shook her head. She wasn't quite sure to trust these people yet but if they could get her away from the Palace then she would trust them to do that.

"Maria? Are you ok?" asked Amy "You've been so quietly lately"
"I'm just thinking about... about Michael" she confessed
"Oh I'm sorry sweetie. I know how much you liked him, I hope Sheriff Valenti finds him" she said "And the Parkers and the Evanses and Alex and Isabel. I don't understand how they could just disappear"
"Mom..."
"Yeah?"
"What would you do if I told you I was... if I had... I had children?"
"I'd be really upset that you didn't listen to me after all I've tried to do to protect you from being a teenage mom"
"But say if I was suddenly older say like thirty-ish and I had twins. Two girls with Michael Guerin?"
"Are you feeling okay?" she asked as she pressed the back of her hand to Maria's forehead "You're a little warm"
"Mom!" cried Maria suddenly feeling exasperated "I might as well tell you. Since they're coming back, you're going to know too soon"
"Know what? Maria? Tell me you're not pregnant" she begged
"No mom I'm not pregnant. But... I've... I've turned into an alien. I'm an alien mom and when the Earth is evacuated I'm going to go to Antar and be with my little girls once again" she said. Amy sorted of stepped back in confusion, strange thoughts ran through her head then Maria reached out and changed her mother's jumper from blue to green.
"You're not Maria! You're an evil alien! What have you done with my daughter! Oh no! You've come to get me too!" she cried then raced to the door and off down the street screaming.
"Oh my god it was genetic!" gasped Maria as she watched her mother go.
