( Tess is not Evil she was picked up at the side of the road by Ed and Vivian Harding, Max and Isabel still lives with the Evans and Unfortunately Michael with Hank)

A/N: This is my first attempt at writing Fanfiction, sorry about the summary I'm not very good at those. Hope you like.

The Three of them walked into the Crashdown. They knew what day it was, It was the day that started it all. The place was packed. the only spot available was a table off to the Corner. 'perfect' Mia Thought. She looked around the diner everything was how she imagined. She never been here before, but she always heard her mother and Aunt describing it. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed them. Huddled in their usual booth. She couldn’t help but smirk. They were so young, just a couple of years younger than herself. She looked over at Zan. He was shaking. She knew this was going to be hard for him. It was going to be Hard for all of them, but they knew everything was going to be ok.

"Zan" She said. She placed her hand over his olive colored one "It's going to be okay, Okay?" he looked over her and just smiled, then quickly looked back over to them

"You should stop staring. They might suspect something." Gabe said. " You don't want him to get distracted do you" Mia noticed Zan quickly put his head down, so she reached over the table and smacked Gabe upside the head. Gabe was usually a happy go lucky guy, who cracked jokes, something he inherited from his father, but today he was different jumpy, nervous.

"Don't do that Gabe you know how hard this is for us, just imagine how hard it is for him." She scolded. Then she saw The short haired Blonde waitress was serving coffee to one of the customers. She couldn’t keep her eyes off her. she looked so Young and Angelic.



Over on the other side of the Crashdown

"You are so bad Girl, Oh and Max Evans is staring at you again" Maria giggled, She knows how much Liz hated being teased about Max, but she knew Liz feels something for him. even though she won't admit it. Maybe if She could open Liz’s eyes she would Dump Kyle the poodle and give poor Max a chance.

" No way. Maria that is so in your imagination" She turned around. Nope Max wasn't looking at her. He was looking at Michael. Why did Maria always insist that he was looking at her. He's a Dream, even if his ears were a little big, but she could only imagine how his body would look without his shirt off pressed against hers. She turned back towards Maria." Evans? This?" She pointed to her Chin. " No uh"

" Yea okay, Anyway" Maria Rolled her eyes " We have some new customers over in the back, you want to get them or want me to do it?" Liz looked over at the three teenagers at the table. There was a spark of familiarity when she looked at the shaggy dark brown haired boy. he had lovely olive skin and a muscular body. He had his head down. she could sense he was scared. for some unknown reason she wanted to go over there and hug him, and tell him everything would be ok. She was almost about to, but thought twice about it. she didn’t think the young girl next to him would like that. Probably his girlfriend or something. The guy was gorgeous, but she wasn’t attracted to him. she was just protective. she looked over at his girlfriend, surprised to see her looking straight at her. She was beautiful. Long Dark brown hair that curled slightly at the ends big green eyes and full pouty lips. she reminded her of someone. She felt somewhat proud of the young man to have such a beauty. There was another guy-

"Hello, Earth to Liz?" Maria said waving a hand in front of Liz's face. " You know what its okay, I'll go and get there order I was heading over there anyway" Maria Walked away towards the young group when suddenly a fight broke out.'

"Your running out of time!" they both stood up. Maria didn't know what to do, so she did the only thing she could do. she yelled for Liz.

"LIZ!" suddenly one of the guys pulled out a gun, the men struggled and the gun went off.

At "The Booth"

"Liz" He heard Maria whisper. He looked over at Liz's unmoving body. He immediately stood up. Knowing exactly what he was going to do. A hand stopped him

"Let go of me" Max tried to push away.

"Max what are you going to do" Michael said. Max knew exactly what he was going to do. He was going to Save Liz the love of his life. He was going to risk exposure. But then he looked up at Michael face. he saw it. he saw the fear. He was going to betray Michael, Isabel, and Tess for someone who didn’t really even know he existed. No, he couldn’t do that. They would never forgive him. He just grabbed Michaels hand and ran out of the Crashdown and to his Jeep. Never looking back.

The Corner Table.

Mia heard the gun go off. She knew exactly what was going to happen. She felt Zan Grip her hand tighter. She knew he was crying. She was the first of the three of them to look up. she saw Max, and Michael run out of the diner. she looked towards Liz, Suddenly a Wave of panic ripped through her. she's not standing, Why? Why isn’t she standing suddenly it hit her. " Oh god No."

Chapter 2

Mia's Mind immediately went into Action. She was still in shock but she couldn't let anything happen to Liz, or Zan. " Gabe I need a Warp." She saw Gabes fear, but he simply nodded and Closed his eyes. She grabbed Zan's hand and dragged him over to Liz. She didn't want him to see her but she knew he had to. Mia knelt down besides Liz, Ripped open the ugly aqua uniform and pressed Zan's Hand to the Wound.

His eyes shot open when he felt wetness on his hand. He looked over at Mia. He knew she knew he was scared. It wasn’t suppose to be like this. But it had to be done. Someone has to save her. He felt anger rise up, but quickly pushed it down. " Liz?" She didn’t Respond. He started to panic. " Liz I need you to open your eyes." He was feeling Desperate now, “DAMMIT OPEN YOUR EYES! “ she wasn’t opening her eyes. " Mom? Come on open your Eyes Please" He choked out between sobs. Then he saw her eyes flutter open. Her Dark Brown Eyes Met his then, The flashes Started. He saw everything his father was suppose to see. It felt wrong. He wasn’t suppose to see her.

Once Mia saw the connection being made she quickly looked around the room. She saw Gabe, his eyes still closed. I don't know how much longer he can keep it up she thought. She looked back down the bullet wound was healing. She saw the uniform quickly waved her hand over it to get rid of the bullet hole and the blood. Zan was done. she broke the ketchup bottle and poured the ketchup over the shocked girls body. She grabbed Zan's hand and stood up "You fell and knocked over a ketchup bottle, Don't tell anybody please!" she ran over to Gabe grabbed his hand and ran as fast as she could out of the diner.

Liz just stood and watched the three figures run out of the diner. she was in total shock. she tried to replay the moments in her head, but they were coming out a total blur. one minute she was lying on the floor bleeding to death the next minute she felt completely fine and energized. She didn’t know what just happened, but she was determined to find out.

Evans house: Max's Room

Michael's mind was racing. He just stopped Max from Healing Liz Parker. The girl of his best friends dreams. He looked at the silent max. What are you suppose to say, Sorry? I wish Izzy was here she would know what to say.

" I'm not mad at you Michael and I don't blame you." Max said he knew what Michael was thinking. He also knew that Michael doesn’t have a way with words. " I don't blame you for stopping me, Plus you knew that if I really wanted to I could have pushed you away, but I would have never risked exposing us." What Max said was true. He didn't blame Michael. He blamed himself. He felt sick. He just let Liz Parker die. I should have saved her. she should still be alive I SHOULD HAVE SAVED HER! Suddenly the Door burst open and a very excited Isabel Evans dashed into the room.

" OH MY GOD YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT I JUST HEARD" Isabel Exclaimed. Michael knew exactly what she just heard. Liz Parker is dead. He looked over at Max. He saw his paled face. He couldn't help but feel bad. why is she so damn happy!? can't she see that Max is right here. Why can't she be more sensitive. Oh god did he just think that. Something is definitely wrong here. " Megan told me that her Boyfriend Steven’s brother was at the Crashdown today. Apparently a fight broke out over who was going to pay the bill, which I think is so stupid anyway, this guy like pulled out a gun and shot at people." She burst out in a single breath.

" Anyone shot." Max asked quietly. He knew that answer. 'Yes Liz parker was shot and killed'. all he wanted now was the floor to swallow him alive.

"No, not that I know of." Max and Michaels heads shot up.

" What do you mean no one got shot? What about Liz was she shot? Is she okay!?" Max spoke fast. His heart was beating so fast. He was so happy and relieved.

Isabel rolled her eyes " Of course I should have known. Yes Max, Liz is perfectly fine." Isabel just sighed. " Here I come in with this Juicy piece of gossip and all you can think about is Perfect, Boring Liz Parker." Isabel just left and slammed the door. when's max going to figure out Liz and him can never be together.

Across town in a Abandon House

Three Figures Came running into the House. Kat's Hand immediately shot up. As soon as she saw who it was she put her hand down. " About time you came back. I talked to Matt and Marie, They were able to locate the other four. I was so damn worried. Don't you guys ever leave me here alone. I swear I could kill-" Kat noticed their pale faces. She looked over at her Cousin Zan. He was shaking, he looked tired and drained. " What happened? Oh No! They were attacked? I knew I should have came with you. What happened?" She sat down on the couch shaking. Her head shot up expectantly, messing up her beautiful blonde hair. Her blue eyes pleaded with them to tell them something positive.

"He didn’t heal her" Zan silently said. He was looking at his hands, as if they he never saw them before.

"What who didn’t heal who? What are you talking about?" She knelt down beside him, trying to make him look at her.

"Max, Max didn't heal Liz" Mia finally spoke. She couldn't believe what just happened.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN MAX DIDN'T HEAL LIZ!? THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE." Her eyes were wide with shock. Her mind couldn't process the information. This was too much.

" It's true. Zan had to heal her, while I warped everyone." Gabe said. He was calm. Thinking silently " What I want to know is why are we still here? I mean history has changed, yet here we are. Shouldn't we have faded or something?" Everyone was silent. It was true, history was changed. Yet here they are still alive and solid.

Mia felt the sudden panic rise up in her " We shouldn't be here we messed up history, Oh my god. I knew it. I knew going was a bad idea but no you all wanted to go check out the cafe and witness what happened. Oh god I’m going to fade into nothingness and not be able to do anything. Oh god, oh god, oh god. I’m gong to be nothing Zilch, Nada, Zero" suddenly Gabe started laughing. "Do you think this is Funny!?" She started smacking him " I'm freaking out here and you think this is funny!" Her Green eyes started to flash with anger if this was any other day Zan would have been laughing at the Freak-out, and thought that Mia was the most beautiful creature he has ever seen.

"Geez stop hitting me, I wasn't laughing at you I was laughing at Zan!" Mia stopped hitting Gabe and looked over at Zan with Confusion.

"Why?" Gabe remembering what made him laugh earlier starting laughing again.

"This just reminded me of Back to the future, I mean Liz was suppose to get healed by Max and they were suppose to fall in love, but now Zan did it, So does that mean Liz is going to fall in love with Zan?" He was still laughing just remembering that Scene from back to the Future." I mean here we are Back from the future. It was would funny."

"That's just sick Gabe." Kat said shaking her Head. Suddenly everyone started laughing. Trying to push the panic out of there minds.

Thanks for the feedback everyone i'm really glad you guys are enjoying it, My posting is going to be somewhat sparatic, I am not going to post till I am at least 1 chapter ahead of the one im posting. So far im working Pretty well.

begonia9508: Yes, your right they are their children, and i'm not gonna say whose children are whose, so I left easy hints so you guys can figure it out.but they didnt come back to help Max save Liz, But im not going to spoil the reason why they are there. they just wanted to witness what happened that day and to make sure nothing got in the way but it didnt go as planned

Jessibelle47, tequathisy: Let me try to explain the Best I can why Max didnt save Liz. I am not a big dreamer fan ( that's not the reason why he didnt heal her, and I promise when their scences come I wont hold back on all that mushy soulmate stuff) so I went back and watched the pilot episode. I noticed that when Max went to heal Liz and he didnt really take the time to notice the worried look on Micheal's face, or to even think about what he was doing. So I sat back and Wondered if Max was able to take a look at Micheal and think about it for a second what would he do. Well I thought he would still heal her but that wouldnt go with my fic so I made him pick Michael, Isabelle and Tess over Liz. Hoped that helped with the reasoning.


Chapter 3

New York City: Hotel room number 412

"I can't stand them living here especially with that bitch!" Marie exclaimed falling on to the bed. No she didn’t like this at all. she knew they had it rough but I mean they are living in a sewer. she knew they were better than this. If only she could get them out of there without messing up things. She sighed " Matt please tell me there is a way I can bypass all the rules and drag them over to Roswell."

"Rie, you know there’s nothing we can do, were just suppose to watch them and make sure no one hurts them. We can‘t interfere." Matt looked down at his beautiful punk princess. She had beautiful Blonde curly hair that had streaks of Red and black. Her eyes were a piercing ice blue. She had the most prettiest face he had ever seen it took all his strength not to take her right now in this hotel room.

"Ya I know, its hard ya know?" who is she kidding of course he doesn’t know. His parents grew up in loving homes. They didn't have to worry about stealing or killing to survive." Maybe we should go to da sewer make dat everything is okay? we should check out of here and sleep there, dat way we can keep an eye on them at all times." she started to pace around the hotel room

"What! no way am I sleeping in a sewer. Rie just calm down ok." He walked over to her and eloped her into a hug. " Listen to me okay, we will wake up first thing in the morning and run to go check up on them. I promise." He gently brushed her the hair out of her face. He bent down and lightly kissed her lips. It was suppose to be soft and sweet but with Marie it was anything but, she quickly deepened the kiss pushing him hard onto the bed.

" Ya know, we do gots this whole room all to ourselves. Plus I know I won't be able to sleep tonight, so I was thinkin" She said pushing slightly away from him. she ran her hands through his dark hair.

" Yea what were you thinking?" Matt was surprised at how husky his voice was, also at how tight his jeans had become. He had one hand in her hair while the other hand was stroking the back of her thigh. He could feel the heat of her skin through her fish net stockings. He loved those stockings.

"I was thinking dat we could have a little fun" She giggled. She grabbed his hands from her hair and her thigh with her left hand and pinned them over his head. With her right hand she slowly lifted his shirt up so that it was pushed up to his neck. she brought her head down and lightly sucked on his nipple. she heard him groan in pleasure, and almost felt sorry for what she had planned. While sucking on his nipple she brought her hand to his sides and started tickling him furiously.

"Why you little tease." He removed his hands from hers and rolled her over so that he was on top and started tickling her.


Crashdown cafe: Liz's room


Liz walked into her room in a daze. Locking the door. After the ambulance showing up and the questioning from Sheriff Valenti and the constant attention from her parents, she was exhausted. She looked in her mirror, she was still wearing her ketchup splattered uniform. She could swear that she was shot, yet there’s no bullet hole or blood. Did those kids alter her uniform? if they could heal me then who knows what else they could do. She was about to open her ripped uniform to look at her stomach when there was a knock at the door.

“ Mom, please go away, I told you I’m fine I just need some time alone.” Liz called out. She loved her parents but sometimes they were WAY to over protective.

“ Liz Its me, Maria, please open the door I need to talk to you.” Liz walked over to the door unlocked it and opened it. “ Oh, Lizzie are you okay? I didn’t get to really talk to you and make sure you were okay, since you were pretty busy.” Maria hugged Liz.

“ Yea Maria, I’m fine. I’m just a little shaken up.” Liz sat on the bed. She really didn’t want to deal with Maria, but she wont leave her alone unless she knows she’s alright.

“Liz, I know your tired and it’s been a long day, but I need to know what happened down there today.” Liz tried her best to look surprise.

“ What do you mean Maria, I already told everyone what happened. I got scared when the gun went off, so I fell and a broke a ketchup bottle.” Liz hated lying to everyone, It’s even worse that she was lying to one of her best friends.

“ Liz stop lying. It doesn’t suit you, you do this half frown half smile that really doesn’t look good. I know something happened. I saw those two people rush over to you. If you really did fall like you said you did why would you have ketchup on the front of your uniform and not the back? Plus how you can explain this.” Maria took a blood soaked writing pad out of her purse and threw it over to Liz. “ I may be your wacky best friend but I’m not stupid.”

Liz was in shock. No one else saw them how could Maria, Plus with that Bloody note pad it was proof that they really did heal her, that she really was shot and almost died. “ that’s, um, that’s ketchup?” she knew it sounded stupid, she knew that Maria wouldn’t buy it, but they told her not to tell anyone.

Maria just rolled her eyes. Her best friend was lying to her, and it wasn’t even a good lie. “ Liz come on, does that look like ketchup to you?”

“Y-yea” Mental note to self, learn how to lie Liz thought.

This time Maria got angry. Liz has often seen Maria angry but the anger was never directed at her. She and Alex often joked about Hurricane Deluca, they even made a list with all the different ratings, like someone would do to a real hurricane. This one she would rate a 5. Maria grabbed Liz roughly by the arm and pulled her up to face her.

“ Lizzie please stop lying to me! I’m your freaking best friend, please tell me what hap-” she stopped mid sentence her eyes fixated on Liz’s stomach. When Maria grabbed her, her ripped uniform opened exposing her stomach. “ Liz what’s that?” Maria asked shaking pointing at her stomach. Liz looked down at her stomach. Her eyes widen with shock. A silver handprint was located on the exact place the gun wound was.

Chapter 4

The abandoned house.



The Four Teens sat around the living room, trying to come up with a new plan.” I say we just stick to our old plan.” Zan finally said. “ You know we sign up for school, someone gets a job at the Crashdown and another gets a job at the UFO center. That way we have all our ground covered.”

“ But Zan things have changed.” Mia wasn’t able to continue because she was rudely interrupted.

“ Zan, you, Mia and Gabe will attend school, Mia will work at the Crashdown and you can work at the UFO center.” Kat sat back on the couch with a Smug smile on her face. She just solved everyone’s problems

“ What about you?” Mia hated the way Kat always tried to boss everyone around “ You have to do something too, Princess.” Mia knew how much Kat hated being called a princess.

“ What? My plan is a good plan, Your mom was a waitress and his dad worked at the UFO center, so it would only make sense that you guys would work there too. Plus I should stay here in case Marie or Matt try to contact us. And don‘t call me princess!” She stood up towering over Mia’s sitting form.

“ So what if my mother worked there, its not something you inherit. We’re not going to do all the work so you can sit on your ass all day. Plus Zan and I are the oldest, I haven’t been to school in 2 years. So shouldn’t you be the one to go to school ? Also you don’t need to stay home and wait for Matt to call you, he’s your twin you can connect to him without even trying princess.” Mia stood up from the couch, placing her hands on her hips. She wasn’t going to let this blonde Amazon try to intimidate her.

“ So what!? Your only older than me by a month. You and Zan graduated early so I doubt school will be a problem, you look 16 anyway so again I doubt there will be any questions. And I said DON’T CALL ME PRINCESS!” as she screamed at Mia the window shattered. Mia didn’t even flinch, she just stood her ground.

“Okay guys that’s enough!” Zan didn’t want this to escalate anymore than it already has. If someone was walking in they would laugh at the way the petite 5’4 brunette was standing her ground against the Blonde 5’9 Amazon, but Zan knew that if it came down to it, Mia would come out victorious, her powers were the most explosive and even if Kat tried she would never be able to put out enough firepower to do half as much damage as Mia could. After all she was the Commanders daughter, but right now they need to work together. “ We are ALL going to go to school and it would be easier if you did take the job at the Crashdown Mia, just in case anything happened.”

Mia just rolled her eyes and sat down. “ Whatever you say, your majesty.” Zan heard the sarcasm, and also saw Gabe learn over and whispered something in Mia’s ear which made her laugh. Zan felt a pang of jealousy, he’s never been able to really make Mia laugh. “ So what are we going to tell Liz parker? She’s gonna want some answers and since things didn’t really go as planned we gotta come up with something.” This question broke Zan out of his thoughts.

“ I will talk to her and tell her everything my dad told her. So now that’s everything is settled lets go to sleep, It‘s late.” Everyone quickly got up and went to there rooms.



Harding Residence: Tess’s bedroom

Tess Harding lay in her bed with a smile on her face. She was having another one of her delightful dreams.

Tess was walking down the hall of Roswell high, her blonde curls bouncing up and down. Suddenly a hand came out and pulled her into the Eraser room. Tess was about to shout when she heard the guy’s voice

“Tess” He whispered seductively into her ear.

“Kyle” She whispered surprised at how husky her voice sounded.

“Oh, Tess you don’t know how long I wanted to get you in here, and when I saw you walking down the halls I couldn’t help it you look so sexy today. I want you.” He said as his head went down to start kissing her neck.

“Wait Kyle, aren’t you with Liz? I cant do this unless I know that you want to truly want to be with me, and get rid of her.” She really didn’t care about Liz, but she really didn’t want to be the other women.

“ Tess, Listen, I don’t care about Liz, I want you, just you. Liz is boring and she can not compare to the beauty that you are. I love you Tess Harding and I don’t care who knows. I just want you. I love you so much, ever since I first saw you.” Kyle stared into her Beautiful blue eyes as he proclaimed his love.

“ KYLE! I love you too, but there’s something I have to tell you.” She took a deep breath. “ Kyle, I’m a alien. I was in the 47 crash. I can’t explain it all right now to you, but I just had to tell you” he put his index finger up to her pretty pink lips

“ shh, its ok I know and I don’t care I still love you.” She looked deep into his gorgeous brown eyes.

“ Really?” She asked slowly leaning towards him.

“ Really.” He heads starting to tilt to the right his lips getting nearer and nearer. Before they were able to connect the eraser door flew open

“ Ew, I really don’t want to see this.” he walked into the room while shaking his head. “ Listen I know you don’t know me but I need your help Mo- Err Tess.” Tess looked from the guy to Kyle, who seemed to not be noticing to young man, back to the guy.

“ Who are you?” She asked. Kyle kept trying to wrap his arms around her and pull her into a passionate kiss, after several tries, she finally lost her cool. “ Dammit Kyle not now.” Suddenly Kyle disappeared. “who are you?” She asked him again.

“ I can’t tell you at least not right now, just know that I am someone you can trust. We will meet soon just know that when we do, you shouldn’t be scared. Just if anything happens I will protect you.” Tess looked at the guy. She felt the need to trust him, but not only trust him she felt the need to protect him.

“ Are you like me?” She asked He was about to respond when she felt a pain in her knee.

===End of Dream===

Tess landed on the floor with a thump. She hit her knee pretty hard when she fell. that was a weird dream she thought. She pushed her self off the floor. She couldn’t really remember what the dream was about. Normally it was her and Kyle in the eraser room, but this time there was something different. Come on Tess remember it seemed important. no matter how hard she tried. So she laid back in bed to try to go to sleep. Hopefully she would remember in the morning.


The abandon house.

Gabe came out of the dream. He was exhausted, he wasn’t very good at dream walking well at least not as good as Kat is, it took a lot of energy, especially to interact with her. But they needed someone within the pod squad that would trust them and be able to talk to them. I hope the others wont get mad at me for doing this. Gabe thought.Well whatever they dont know wont hurt them.

Chapter 5

New York

Matt woke Marie early just like he promised. After quick showers and a light breakfast, they made there way back to the sewers. They had already staked out everything yesterday so they knew the sewers pretty well, they picked a spot where they would be able to watch without being seen.

“This place reeks, I can’t believe we have to spend all of our time here. I mean were in New York City, The Big Apple, We should be out eating pizza and going to the Statue of Liberty.” Matt sighed. He hated this, but he had to do it for Marie.

“ Ya know what Matt I’m tired of yar damn complaining.” She turned around and placed her hands on her hips and stared up at Matt “ Why don’t ya just go home. Obviously ya don’t want to help me, SO JUST LEAVE!” She turned around with a huff and started to stomp away.

“ Rie I’m sorry. I really want to help you. Please don’t be mad at me please” he pleaded with her.

“Aight but you have to promise me that ya wont complain anymore, cuz if I hear one more word from ya mouth yar not getting any Kay?” Marie kept walking waiting to hear Matt begging that he wont do it again, when she didn’t hear anything she quickly turned around. “Matt?” he wasn’t there “ Oh this is not funny Matt, You are so neva getting any for weeks.” She started to panic “ No not weeks, for Months.” she started to frantically look around. “ MATT!? Oh I am so pissed that’s it Neva again. DO YOU HEAR ME. NEVA!” Suddenly she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waste. She tried to struggle but they were too strong, She felt two fingers tap the back of her neck, suddenly everything went black.


Crashdown: Liz’s room

Liz was exhausted. Last night after they discovered the handprint, she tried to convince Maria that she was just finger painting earlier and forgot to wash off the paint. Finally after about an hour of arguing she gave in and told Maria everything she knew of course Maria ran out of her house screaming, but as soon as she caught up to her and made her understand, she felt so much better. now she wasn’t in this alone. Maybe they would understand? yea right if I can even find them she thought, but she knew Maria and her wouldn’t stop until they got some answers.

Liz lifted up her shirt and gazed in the mirror “ Yup still there.” She mumbled. She put her hand over the silver handprint, suddenly something flashed before her eyes, it was a image of a young boy smiling. She couldn’t help herself, she smiled.


The abandoned house

“ Teenage Mutant ninja turtles, Really Mia?” Kat stared at Mia in disbelief.

“ What I like it?” Mia looked down at her grey Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt. She didn’t see anything wrong with what she was wearing.

“ What are you like, Five?” Kat just shook her head.

“ I’m sorry Kat we cant all just be beauty queens. How the hell do you walk in those?” She pointed to the 4 inch stilettos. “ and I mean that skirt, can you even sit in that? And that top Geez could your boobs be popping out any more?” Kat just rolled her eyes.

“ If ya got it flaunt it, and at least I have boobs.” she said. Mia looked down at her chest.

“ Hey I got boobs too!” Mia huffed she had always been self conscience of her boobs.

“ Hey girls, come on now play nice. I know I’m gorgeous but there’s enough of me to go around.” He laughed. He looked over at Kat. “I for one absolutely love your outfit Kat, but unfortunately I’m all out of dollar bills.” Gabe said with a smile on his face. Kat was about to retort when Zan walked up.

“ So everyone ready for our first day at West Roswell High? I really cant wait!” Everyone looked at Zan with shocked face.

“ Did he really just say he couldn’t wait to attend high school for a second time?” Kat asked the other two.

“ Yea, I think he did.” Gabe answered back. “ Wow Zan could you be any Duller?” They all walked out side the house.

“ Well I for one really don’t want to walk to school. We need a car!” Kat huffed. Mia just rolled her eyes.

“ Fine you guys wait here I’ll be back with a car.” Mia walked off. Ten minuets later a red car pulled up.

“What the hell is that?” Kat asked pointing to the car.

“ What it’s a car?” Mia really didn’t know what her problem was. They asked for a car, so she got a car.

“ Mia, it’s a jetta. Not even a new jetta.” Gabe answered. “ Couldn’t you get a truck or a SUV or something that would have been a little better besides a beat up old Jetta?”

Mia just shrugged. “ What I liked it.” Zan just sighed he really didn’t want to spend the day arguing over the car.

“ Lets just go we can discuss the car later.”



West Roswell high

Maria couldn’t believe she had to walk to school today. She was suppose to meet with Liz twenty minutes ago. She was surprised to still see Liz by her locker.

“ Maria, where were you!? I have been waiting here for twenty- four minutes!” Liz huffed. This was important and of course Maria just forgot.

“ I am so sorry Liz, I was going to take the Jetta this morning but can you believe it got stolen!?” Liz looked at Maria the jetta got stolen how weird she thought “ Yea I mean who would want to steel that piece of junk?” Maria then saw the four people coming out of the office. “ Lizzie, look its them.” Liz slowly turned her head to see the two people that helped her out at the Crashdown. “ Liz come on lets go before they disappear.” but before they could catch up to them the bell rang.

“ We will just have to catch them after class.” Maria just rolled her eyes. of course Liz wouldn’t want to miss any of her classes. She sighed.

Chapter 6

West Roswell High: Biology room 123, third period.

“ Hey.” Max said as he slid into the seat besides Liz. Just seeing her today was confirmation that she was still alive and studying. At least he could prove to Michael that Liz really wasn’t shot.

“ Hey” She replied softly looking up at Max. god he’s so cute. she bit her lip, in hopes she wouldn’t say anything out loud.

“ I heard about everything at the Crashdown.” He stared into her eyes, all he wanted to do was hug Liz and maybe take her against the wall. No their first time wont be against the wall it would be on a bed with rose petals. Dammit Max control your urges! he silently scolded himself. “ I am glad your okay.” He really meant it too. His eyes looked down to her lips for a second and then back up to her beautiful deep brown eyes. If only he could tell her the truth.

“ Yea I’m okay, wait weren’t you there?” she could have sworn Max was there when the gun went off. Max struggled for a answer, grateful when the teacher started to talk.

“Hello class, today we have a new student.” Mrs. Tomas said gesturing to the boy at the front of the class. Liz gasped at who it was, which didn’t go unnoticed by Max. Max stared at the boy in front of the class. He looked some what familiar, that’s when he noticed his eyes. He had beautiful eyes just like Liz oh god did he just think that guys eyes were beautiful. he thought
“ Class this is Rob Roy, So Rob why don’t you tell me a little about yourself.“

“ Um, I’m Rob” He slightly winced at the name Mia had gave to him “ I just moved here from, up north, and um, I like biology.” The teacher just nodded.

“Now since we have odd amount of students you will have to work-” The teacher was cut off by eager Liz

“ Mrs. Tomas he can work with us, I mean , its not really fair that he work alone.” Liz didn’t want to seem too eager but she didn’t want lose the opportunity of talking to Rob. Max didn’t like that he had to share Liz with this new kid. He was perfectly fine with just letting him work alone, plus see seemed a bit too eager to work with this guy.

Zan walked over to the table, glaring at Max. All he could think about was the fact that he didn’t save her. He wanted to throw him against the wall and demand that he tell him why. Zan could feel his Anger building, he felt his hand grow hot, that’s when he noticed he was melting his folder. Looking around to make sure no one saw that he did this. His face came upon Liz’s face and he couldn’t help but smile.



New York City Sewers

Marie woke up to the sound of people talking, she tried hard to not open her eyes.

“Who do ya think they’re?” said a quiet girls voice. Marie knew exactly whose voice it was, it took all her energy not to smile.

“I don’t know, but I say we kill em.” Another voice spoke, this voice was also female but a bit harsher. She heard a groan next to her. matt. she thought. “ Look one of em’s waking up, we could just torture him into telling us.” cruel bitch. Marie opened her eyes and looked over at Matt. He looked a little afraid but she knew he wouldn’t let that affect him. She turned her attention to the four figures standing above her.

Chapter 7


West Roswell High

“Rob!” She yelled as she ran out of class, As soon as the bell rang he left the class room. She wondered why he had been glaring at Max the entire time, and why Max glared back. “Excuse me, Excuse me” she said as she bumped into the people in the hallway. “ Rob! Rob!” She ran to catch up with him finally grabbing his arm “ We need to talk” She dragged him into the band room. no this place was suppose to be empty she thought as she heard drums being played.

“Kyle!” she squeaked.

“Hey” he said turning away from the drums.

“Hey!” trying to sound pleased to see him.

“Hey, who’re you?” he asked pointing to Zan

“ This is Rob he’s new here and yea, I’m just helping him with Biology and stuff since he’s new here and all” Kyle walked up to her obviously not really caring what she was talking about.

“ Yea whatever, so did you get my message?” He asked making his way over to Liz.

“ oh, yea I did, but I was just a little.” Liz struggled for the right word. She didn’t want to tell Kyle that she just didn’t feel like talking to him.

“ Shaken?” He finished for her.

“ yup, that’s what it is” she pointed to him, feeling a little awkward.

“ Yea my dad told me about the gun going off and everything. You okay” He asked while taking off his glasses.

“ Oh yea, I am, hey listen Kyle, Roy and I really need to study so you got to leave.” She didn’t look up to his eyes.

“ Yea okay. I’ll leave, Ill just call you later, or something” He looked wearily to Zan then to Liz and reluctantly left.

“ Yea, that’s Kyle, were just like this casual thing its not really anything, Wait okay lets focus here Rob.” she went to the hem of her shirt and slowly lifting it up so he could see the hand print on her stomach.

“ Wow” He said, He felt awkward. He’s healed before but nothing that severe.

“ Yea, um” She felt weird, like this was Deja vu or something “ I feel like this is a dream or something like some sort of practical joke that everyone is in on except me, so here’s what I’m thinking, I’m thinking we could go back to the bio lab and maybe let me get some of your saliva and I could check them, cause I’m starting to think that this isn’t normal and once I check them and see that you are in fact normal, and I was making up the whole thing yesterday in my head. And I really need to take you there so I wont black out or anything.” Liz knew she was babbling I’ve been spending way too much time with Maria. she thought.

“ No its okay that wont be necessary.” Zan slowly said. He was nervous, He shouldn’t be the one telling her any of this. Max should. He felt the anger again.

“ Okay so Help me out here Rob, What is this?” She said pointing to her stomach “ And what are you?”

“Well I’m not from around here.” He found himself not being able to meet her eyes.

Liz just nodded “ Where are you from?” She was trying to be calm about this whole thing, She kept trying to think about the scientific explanations to all this. She saw Zan slowly point a finger upward. “ Up north?” He looked at her, Moving his finger higher. She moved her eyes up to where he was pointing. She expected to see something. She lowered her eyes to the floor trying to contemplate what she was trying to tell her. What did she expect to see, some sort of UFO or something. Oh god, He’s an Alien she thought then immediately removed the thought. “ Your not,” She rolled her eyes. “ An Al- Alien, I mean.” Her smile immediately turned into a frown at the look he was giving her. “ Are you?” He’s psycho she thought

“ I prefer the term not of this earth.” He joked lightly, to say Zan was uncomfortable was an understatement. “Yea, I am” he looked at her hopeful, at least she isn’t running out of the room. As soon as he thought that she started to pack up her things. “ Wait M-err Liz.” he followed her to the door. She didn’t seem to notice his slip up.

“ Um, Rob you know I’m going to be late for my U.S government Class.” Walking faster to the door. Right before she was able to walk out he stopped her.

“ Liz, Listen to me.” Zan paused for a minute. He tried to think of something to tell her, he didn’t want her to look at him like some sort of freak. “ Please, Trust me, I wont hurt you, I would never hurt you, just please don’t be scared of me.” She looked up at him, at the desperation in his voice, and she believed him.

Chapter 8

New York City Sewers

Matt watched as the four figures huddled in the corner talking amongst themselves. “ Psst, Rie do you think that they believed us?” Matt was nervous, when they told them the story they made up in case they were caught, the four of them didn’t look like they believed them.

“ No.” Marie said bluntly. Matt just looked at her. how could she be so calm? he thought.

“FUCK DAT I SAY WE KILL EM’” Lonnie suddenly yelled breaking Matt away from his thoughts. He looked nervously over to Marie, she just looked straight ahead she didn’t look nervous at all. The four figures walked over to them.

“ Ya know dat protector shit you tried to spit at us, we aint believing, so ya betta tell us the truth, cuz our protector abandoned us a long time ago and you don’t give off the shit like a shape shifter does.” Zan spoke. He didn’t sound angry or demanding which was surprising, he sounded tired and annoyed.

Marie looked at the others carefully. Zan was standing in front of them with his arms cross. Ava was studying Marie’s face, Rath’s eyes bore into her, he always did that when he thought I was lying she thought. Lonnie looked bored. “ We aint lying.” She finally spoke. ”No, we aint shape shifters, but we are here to protect ya.” She spoke calmly and assertive. She knew that if they sensed anything that told them she was nervous or scared, they would use that against her. “ There’s something big coming, I don’t know when but I know its there.”

“ That’s bullshit!” Lonnie charged at Marie grabbing her hair “ This bitch is lying cant ya see. She’s trying to trick us.” she was waving Marie around so the others would see. Suddenly someone pinned Lonnie to the wall causing her to let go of Marie. Marie was shocked, she briefly thought it was Matt but when she looked up Matt was beside her. She looked over at Lonnie, Her eyes wide with surprised at Rath whose Hand were around her throat.

“ Don’t you EVA fucking touch her again Lonnie!” Rath spat out making Lonnie Flinch. “ Do ya understand!?” Rath had no idea why this girl was affecting him this way, but when Lonnie grabbed her by the hair everything went red, and it was like instinct to just hurt who ever was hurting her. “ Do ya understand?” He spoke more slowly and forceful. Lonnie saw the evil glint in his eye, but before she could say anything there was a loud explosion at the end of the sewer.

“ Shit he’s here!” Matt yelled he picked Marie up off the floor. Rath let go of Lonnie and look towards the others. Marie looked at him in the eye

“ It’s time for us to fight.” They all nodded.


West Roswell High

Maria saw Liz dragged the big ear boy into the band room if she didn’t know better she would have thought it was Max. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the girl who was with him at the Crashdown. well if Liz has him covered I guess It’s my job to talk to her. she thought.

“ Hey!” She said walking up beside her. “ I’m Maria Deluca.” she held her hand out. Mia Hesitated a second, then decided to shake it.

“ My name is Margarita Salt.” gently taking Maria’s hand, and looking her in the eye. Big mistake. As soon as she did a connect was formed.

::Flash::

A six year old Maria sitting on the steps crying trying to tie her shoelaces on her red sneakers. A Dalmatian dog licking her tears. “Don’t leave me, Please” She whispered. “ I can do it don’t go!“ She screamed at the car as it drove away. Her mother sitting besides her. Gently pulling her in a hug.

Hurt and Frustration.

A seven year old Mia trying to change the color of her bed sheets only to have it set on fire. A familiar figure running into the bedroom when the smoke alarm went off. Waving his hand over the fire. “ Mia we told you not to use your powers unless you have one of us in the room with you.” He said gently.

“No I can do it! I am going to make you proud of me!” She screamed running out of the room.

Inadequacy and sadness.

“What was that?” Maria whispered looking at Mia. Maria’s eyes glossed over. Mia stared at her with wide eyes.

“ I have no idea what your talking about” she tried to turn away but Maria grabbed her arms. Mia pulled away making sure that no connect was established again.

“ What are you?” She whispered. Mia just ignored her and started to walk away. “ I saw what you did at the Crashdown.” Maria said it loud enough so only Mia could hear. Mia froze mid step. She looked around the halls to make sure that no one was paying attention. Maria walked up to her and moved in front of her so that Mia was able to look at her. “ I saw you and that guy kneel besides Liz.” Mia looked down. There was so many questions going on in her head, but there was two that stuck out the most. Why didn’t the warp work on her, and if anyone else saw it as well, but there was only one person who could answer that question. She looked back up at Maria who was searching her eyes carefully as if she was looking for an answer.

“ Listen okay.” Mia looked around the halls again. “ We can’t really talk about this right now. I promise that I’ll explain everything I can at lunch just please, not right now.” Maria nodded and walked away. Mia looked around and spotted him, she needed answers and she needed them now.

Zan walked out of the band room a little nervous. He needed to find everyone and talk. He looked up and spotted Mia walking, he smiled just seeing her seemed to always put him at ease. He frowned when she ran up to Gabe grabbed him by the hand and dragged him to the eraser room. His heart just broke into a million pieces.

Chapter 9

New York city sewers

Marie’s head was pounding it seemed that everywhere she turned a skin was there. She killed a skin two more would come at her. She felt her powers draining as she blasted a skin into flakes. Her bottom lip was swollen, her eyebrow piercing was ripped out causing her blood from the wound to leak down into her eye, She had a couple cracked ribs, but none of that was stopping her. She has to survive she has to save her family. As another skin rushed towards her she quickly sidestepped and kicked him in that special spot in his lower back. She thanked the gods that skins weren’t very powerful against her, that their blasts could really only stun so they had to resort to physical violence, but to humans it could be deadly. It has something to do with the hybrids skin and their ability to heal faster. She didn’t really pay attention when Max and Liz was explaining it.

She made sure to keep her parents within eye contact. To say that she didn’t care about the other two would be a lie, of course they only came in second, if she had to she would sacrifice them. She looked over at her dad, He was kicking major ass, and he was smirking while he did it too. He was enjoying himself. Off to the other side, Her mother just flaked a skin and blasted another to the wall. She knew that they were being drained. They wouldn’t be able to keep this up. They needed to retreat.

“ Matt!” She screamed while blasting a skin across the room. He was busy trying to fight off two skins at once. The side of his head was bleeding, and he was limping. She rushed over to him elbowing one of the skins in the back while he punched the other in the face. “ We have to get everyone out of here. We are no where near able to keep any of this up, and if he shows up we will die for sure.” she dodged a flying fist and tackled the skin onto a pipe causing him to flake.

“ Alright grab your parents. I’ll grab the other two. Meet me at the car, and with that they went their separate ways.

West Roswell High: Eraser room

As soon as the door closed Mia spun around and smacked Gabe upside the head. Her eyes blazing with anger.

“ Ow, what the Hell, Mia!? Why did you hit me for!?” Gabe rubbed the side of his head.

“ She saw us.” Mia spat out. “ Why did she see us Gabe. I thought you warped everyone!” Her eyes went wide. “ If she saw us how many other people saw us?!” Mia was officially panicking. Gabe knew that soon Mia would start to ramble, and he really didn’t want to hear it.

“ Mia, who the hell are you talking about?” Gabe tried to talk softly trying to calm her down, well, Mostly trying to make sure that he wouldn’t get hit again.

“ Maria.” It was weird saying her name, but she had to get used to it if she didn’t want her cover blown, Although Gabe probably just messed that up.

“ Oh.” Gabe just looked down.

“ Oh?” Mia was starting to get angry again. “ OH?! Is that all you can say Gabe!? She saw us, plus who knows who else saw us. Aren’t you worried? What if the FBI finds out?” Mia was starting to pace now, which was making Gabe a little nervous. He didn’t want this fiery pixie to rip his head off.

“ I was going to tell you, but with everything happening, I didn’t get a chance. Then when I was able to it kinda just slipped my mind. I mean I couldn’t warp her mind. I couldn’t do that to her. I probably wont be able to do that to any of them.” The last part came out as almost a whisper. Mia took deep breaths, trying to calm her self down.

“ Okay, so you purposely didn’t warp her, am I right?” She spoke low and evenly.

“ Yea.” he said nodding his head. Mia’s eyes went wide and she started to hit Gabe. “ Ouch, What the hell! I thought you would understand Mia!”

“ You could have ruined everything Gabe!” she screamed.

“ Well its not like Liz isn’t going to tell her, we all know that she couldn’t keep her mouth shut to her friends about it!” He tried to not to yell back but he couldn’t help it, also he really needed Mia on his side for this, knowing Zan wouldn’t disagree with her.

“ Fine, but go find the others, we really need to talk about this and also what Zan said to Liz, we will just skip the next period and find someplace to talk.” Mia let out a sigh.

“ Sure no problem, although I don’t think that Zan’s going to like skipping one of his classes on his first day of school.” he just shrugged. At least she isn’t hitting him anymore.

“ Well who cares we need to talk about this.” Gabe was opening the door.” Oh and Gabe, when you plead your case try to come up with a better argument. I don’t think Zan will like you talking about Liz that way.” Gabe just nodded, and walked out.

Mia let out a deep breath. They were just suppose to come and protect them. They weren’t suppose to get involved unless absolutely necessary. Why did things how to get so complicated?

Chapter 10

West Roswell High




Kat was walking down the halls of Roswell High. Her heels clicking against the cheap linoleum. She knew all eyes were on her. They have been on her all day. There were already rumors going around saying that she’s a European model that’s came to Roswell to settle down in to have a normal life. She didn’t mind them, in fact they made her laugh. The only thing that worried her was that people were starting to compare Kat to Her. She didn’t want that, she didn’t know what she would say if she had to face her. This was one of the reasons why she didn’t want to come to school or get a job at the Crashdown, but Mia had to open her big mouth and accuse me of being lazy, and of course Kat wasn’t going to admit to her that she was scared.

Suddenly there was an incredible pain in Kat’s shoulder, jarring her out of her thoughts. If felt like someone pulled it right out of her socket. She stumbled falling to her knees .Her books flying everywhere. She held her tears back. She started looking frantically down the hall making sure that no one could see.

“ Are you okay?” She felt someone kneel down next to her. The pain slowly going away. She looked at the face, and gasped. Her own eyes were staring right back at her.

Alex Whitman was walking down the hall when he saw her fall. For some reason, he felt very worried watching her stumble, he just had to rush over to her and make sure that she was ok. When she looked up at him, he got the strange feeling that he knew her. “ Are you okay?” He asked again,

Kat couldn’t handle this happening, at least not right now. She felt to vulnerable. “ Y-yea.” she managed to get out. Getting up Alex offered her his hand. She reached out to grab it, before she was about touch it Mia came and quickly helped her up.

Mia was coming out of the eraser room when she saw Kat stumble, She probably would have laughed too, if it wasn’t for the terrified look on her face, She saw Alex extend a hand, remembering her own experience today she quickly darted towards Kat, grabbing her extended hand.

“ It’s okay, I got her.” Mia said, helping Kat up.

“ Are you sure?” He wanted to help in some way so he picked up all the books on the floor.

“ I said I got her.” She didn’t mean to say it so harsh, but the fact that Kat was pale and trembling unnerved her. She snatched the books away from Alex and walked as fast as she could with one of Kat’s arms around her shoulder in the bathroom. Alex just looked on and shook his head.

“Crap.” He said as he looked at his watch. He was late for history.

Roswell High Girl’s Bathroom

As soon as she got Kat in the bathroom, she had her sit on the floor, Surprised that Kat didn’t protest about how dirty it was. Mia quickly checked all the stalls for anyone, then locked the bathroom door with her powers. She sat down besides Kat surprised again when Kat put her head on Mia’s shoulder, Mia put both arms around Kat. They sat there in silence for around five minutes. Finally Mia decided that the conversation should start.

“ What happened?” She asked as quietly as she could while rubbing the taller girls back.

“ I was walking down the hall and everything was just fine.” she paused trying to remember what indeed did happen. “ Suddenly I got this bad pain in my shoulder, It was like someone pulled my shoulder out of its socket.” They were both quiet trying to figure out what happened. Mia’s eyes widen with the realization. She looked towards Kat to see that she also came up with the same Idea.

“ Matt.” They both whispered. Suddenly Kat couldn’t hold back the tears anymore, she just let go. Mia hugged the girl while saying trying to say words that she hoped would sooth the girl. They were both scared. It’s already begun.
