I happened to be surfing the web as I usually do when I came across this:

So I got to thinking, what if you could pick the flower that would represent your favorite ship? What would it be and why?

Max&Liz: the white rose.



it's Liz's fav flower and it's present in many of their scenes together (teow, w las vegas-wedding flash, heart of mine, busted, graduation-their wedding) so it's one of their canon symbols (even the wedding chapel where they married was called "desert rose". The desert rose is a crystal that is like a rose even if it isn't a flower. Most of them are yellow but the true desert rose is white even if it's a rarity cuz the desert can change its color, only the ones who resist the desert and his wind can be still white in the end)
white roses symbolize heavenly, humility, innocence, purity, real love (it's the reason of why the brides use them for their wedding instead of red roses that symbolize more a lusty-passionate love) love stronger than death and spiritual love as a connection of souls. It's the queen of roses and since it's white it can become red with passion or assume other colors with other meanings (there're many legends about it)

i think it's perfect for them.
